Scott Cherek: Well, it's been over 5 years since I visited VICI for a haircut. There's a spa area and a hair styling area. This is a beauty school - meaning students will be cutting your hair or doing beauty care. They offer many hair care services, cuts, trims, coloring and more. I'm a basic guy, so just a haircut. It costs $13 here. Great deal right! Yes, please remember to tip your stylish OK. Quinn cut my hair, she was friendly, professional, and did what I needed. She said she has a month to go, until graduation and on to other things, like a gig at a salon or studio. The instructors also come by and check the student's work. A great value here! Might take a bit longer with the school setting - but we'll worth it!
Puddies Mom: My daughter who has 4c curly hair long and thick wanted a edgy color for back to school. The student did a fantastic job debulking her thick hair with a super cute layered face framing cut. The color turned out amazing. The student took before pics and afterwards took my daughter outside to take photos of how gorgeous the color turned out. Everyone at my daughters school complimented her on how much they love her hair. Its so fun and cute I just love it and the price was so reasonable!

Erinn Craine: I can’t say enough good things about Aveda IBW. I went to school here as well and everyone is always so kind. I went back recently and Brooke was great. She did a color retouch on me and she was so great at paying attention to detail. And so sweet! Kyle is also fantastic and so helpful. I’ll be back!

Alexa Rodriguez: i went in for another trim a few days later, had another gamma hairstylist that was also very nice and i was happy with her work as i left the salon, but after I got home and showered i realized there were a few sections of my hair that were not symmetrical. one side of my bangs is way way too short and it doesn’t stay down without styling it. I can’t do anything about it now except grow it out unfortunately. besides this, everything is clean , they wash your hair and my trim was free because it was within two weeks of my first appointment. teachers are always checking in on their students, and I can tell many of these people do well with their clients and have a passion for hair styling, but the bangs situation is very upsetting even if it was accidental

Debbie G: When the elevator door opens, and you step into the salon area at IBW, you just know you are somewhere special. The space has the feel of a very busy, high end salon. For a fraction of the cost of the same service in a traditional salon, you can get a well-trained Aveda student, as well as the clinician overseeing their work. You do need to allow extra time for the instructor to visit the station, but it's well worth the wait.

And I mean this when you find yourself the core curriculums you find yourself to work, you will find the workplace safety becomes pinned between a ladder of a few to honors received by none lest it becomes a receptionist to a catering service. – If you’re looking to be a plumber, here’s where to start, because if I was arguing carpentry over metallurgy in such a calm weathered hallway, you’d be screaming acts of God till the trickle point landed on your face with your belly bestowing all the previous laughter you thought you could manage by yourself. You see, I’d be sitting with the Dean, the Staff of Administration, and an S1185 form wondering whether or not to let a blind man walk out with his cane before I found out who ruined my Mother’s marriage and career progression to her children without blood on my knuckles following WI ST. 118.35, and an Honorable Admission of Servitude seeing as my own efforts will linger the halls into a transferable credit of Guiness World Record Readership to a statement that will leave you to question what the Commissioner is going to say about it. – After all, when school is close by, I’m just looking to form my retirement.Want to challenge that signature? Or leave it in chalk? Lifeless?There’s a little more to me than you knew, and a whole much more I circled around when deciding a chance would be glory.-
Abster Asgard: the field you want to be in. This is one of the best places to go.They have an active news station here that lends out thier studio to MATC and if you take that degree you end will work with people who are actively in the feild. They get you hands on with equipment within the 1st 2 weeks consistently and are very accommodating for accessibility. Half these reviews are reviewing the school as a whole... and you should not go here for a school name you should go here for hands on experience. I will say the school body is unhelpful and if you really want help go through you teachers and program heads.
T3LLA: Great school if you’re ready to buckle down and focus! Universities can have a lot going on and be really distracting, but this school has a balance. There’s definitely fun activities every now and then but when it comes to the academics, they will not leave you hanging either. The classroom sizes are reasonable, giving you the chance to have all of your questions heard and answered.
Alexander Salas: My experience in MATC IT Computer Support Specialist program is limited but good so far. I chose to pursue this degree because it lines up well with my current work experience and career goals. So far, I have been able to take all my classes online with no scheduled class times, so I can complete assignments at my own pace without interfering with my work schedule. Another thing this program does well, is that it offers options to achieve many different certifications on your way to a degree. They also work with businesses to help their student get jobs after graduating. I would recommend this program to someone looking to get into IT Support as a career.
Britanni Hildenbrand: I am in my sixth week taking online courses at MATC. I have chosen the IT Support Associate Degree program, for two reasons: One the program is only two years, I’ll be able to launch into the job market faster, and because IT is such a diverse, and fast growing career path, I know I will find a fit into the IT world upon graduation. I chose MATC because MATC is convenient and conventional. I can take classes online, at my own pace, and be on campus for the classes I need more focus and dedication to. This IT program combined with my 10 plus years customer service experience, I know I will be able to reach any career goal I set. Now, while my interest in computers and knack for problem solving I know this career path will be suitable for me, however, to any prospective student looking for a quick money type of career, this program is not for you. This program consists of lots of physical and mental work, also taking consideration of the customers you are serving. If a prospective student welcomes challenges and is comfortable with asking questions and not feeling intimidated by the mass amount of information you will retain then this is a program for you. Prospective students should also be aware that they don’t have to work or figure stuff out alone, one of my favorite accommodations is having access to tutoring, whether online or in person- at all campuses. Fellow future students should also know that acquiring their degree at MATC is a smart money move, students can save thousands of dollars getting their education here, as opposed to a four year college/university. Future students should also know that credits will transfer to a four year college such as MSOE or UWM.

No Name: This is the best place to get lashes done in MKE. Ally is the absolute BEST!!! She works magic, the result is beautiful and her lashes LAST! I won’t go anywhere else. Everything about this place is 5 stars! Highly recommend!!!
Hannah Allen: Traveling here for work from Louisiana, usually get my lashes done there. Called last minute needing an appointment and Sadie worked to fit me in to her schedule! I scheduled a classic full set of lashes, dermaplaning, and a hydro facial and the results from all far exceeded my expectations. Had been getting my lashes done for months back home, and this was the best they have ever looked. Sadie is very professional and pays close attention to detail and really tries to create the exact look you are wanting. My skin looked and felt amazing after the facial as well. So happy to have found A. Samara and looking forward to going back!

Sadie addressed the issue accordingly and made them look beautiful. The environment was immaculate and relaxing. In fact, I was so comfortable that I fell asleep during the process. Too top it off she gives you this little goody bag when you leave. I would highly recommend A Samara. I’m looking forward to my next visit with Sadie.

Mona Reppa: MMS is an excellent school. Both of our children have attended the school since 4th grade and will graduate this year in 8th grade. The teachers are amazing. They give so much of their time, care, and expertise to their students. They really go above and beyond. The administration really cares about the kids and puts in a lot of effort to have a strong learning environment. They select and support teachers who are passionate about teaching, and have created an organization that is innovative and responsive to the changing needs of education. They have stayed ahead of technology trends and develop the academic, social, and emotional skills required to keep up with those trends in the classroom. The community of families is also wonderful. One must just attend an MMS volleyball game to see how this community is so supportive of each other.
Christopher Hahn: Our boys attended Milwaukee Montessori in the school year 2020 to 2021, the school year of Covid. That was their only year due to our move back east to our family. The boys attended third grade and fifth grade respectively. The experience was incredible. The teachers, the curriculum, and the social components all exceeded expectations. There’s no doubt we would’ve stayed at the school had we stayed in the Midwest.

But after our multiple visits, and understanding all the COVID protocols we were confident MMS was the right choice for us! We were not wrong, our daughter is thriving in the program, meeting new friends, expanding her vocabulary and has a big smile on her face everyday at drop off! Her teachers are doing an amazing job keeping the line of communication open even though parents are not allowed in classrooms right now. Much better than the cuts I have received in other Aveda salons in two states!!! I may have to visit MKE more often just to get my hair cut and experience the overall service. Lady Voice: Martha did my hair, and she delivered exactly what I asked for. As someone with 3c/4a hair, it's hard finding a stylist who is fluent with my texture. I had previously gotten some honey blonde highlights that just didn't compliment me, and Martha colored my hair jet black. I left with my hair shiny, healthy-looking, and beautifully trimmed. Martha even schooled me on the products she used, and I purchased the entire line from Amazon to maintain my hair. I would've purchased them from her directly, but I was visiting from out of town. Martha was fast, thorough, and very professional. It was worth every penny spent. I went from shoulder length to a pixie with IVY, I loved how personable the people at Nice Hair MKE are, IVY and CARSON made me feel so welcome and it’s like you’re hanging out with new friends. Ivy absolutely killed the cut, they added so much movement and texture- I can’t wait to play around with it, even when my hair turned total rat nest while damp they were so careful not to cause any yanking or pulling. I have a terribly sensitive head and usually have to suffer through it and leave feeling exhausted and that was not my experience here at all.* Ivy didn’t even know I had a super tender head* Carson also killed the color, her application felt so so quick and time passed by really quickly even though my hair took a good chunk of time. 10/10 wonderful relaxing scalp massage when we visited the shampoo bowl multiple times.- Sometimes when I’ve gone to other places I felt like I was 2 seconds from drowning in the bowl and anxious and overwhelmed and that was not the case here at all. Carson free styled the vivid placement and I think it turned out awesome & the blonde is even & vivid colors are just the right shades for me. I’ve never had little rainbows in my hair and I love it so much!! I highly recommend you go and see Ivy and Carson for your hair needs- I drove over an hour to see them and absolutely have no regrets. This was the best experience I’ve had in a salon so far ❤️
