I have always ordered them spicy. My co-workers do not like spicy food. What is there best option of the 3? Or is it in the sause I get with it that made it spicy, I do not remember?
Dayonde Jackson Junior III: Love that the food is gluten free, and that they specify that it is. The sauces are amazing as are the arepa sofritos. That being said, they are so salty. Way too salty to the point of taking away from the flavor. The chicken and cheese empanada and the chicken arepa are what I had. Granted, I ordered the arepa plain- but with the cheese I can’t imagine how salty they would be. The dough is amazing, but the filling is so salty. It was difficult for me to finish. But the restaurant being gluten free automatically gives them four stars. Sodium levels are unbearable however.Dietary restrictions: Awesome gluten free options.

Jenna Wade: Fantastic cafe! Very unique and fun flavor combinations when it comes to the food and pastries. Wonderful ambiance. It’s the place to go for relaxed and tasty weekend morning coffee.

David Cubias: Came in on a hungry day to try some authentic Venezuelan food. Ordered an arepa with shredded chicken, avocado and cheese. Also ordered a cheese empanada. To wash it all down, a refreshing passion fruit drink.The food was perfectly season, the portions were very generous for todays climate, the price was suitable as well.Got some food to go, and already planning my next visit with friends and family.

Joe Boppre: First time eating here. Our experience was wonderful. Food and personal service by owner, Francisco, were suburb. He takes so much pride in his food & establishment. He's moving downtown Waukesha this year on Clinton St. which will be a perfect fit for his restaurant. We learned a lot about Venezuelan food. Delicious Cuban sandwich, yucca fried strips, fried sweet plantains, and everything else. Reasonably priced Chardonnay Venezuelan wine. Definitely will be returning soon. Never knew how delicious Venezuelan food is. The owner was kind enough to explain the reina pepeada is the most popular arepa in Venezuela. It means beauty queen and was named after one of their first queens/ladies. The food here is incredible and so authentic! There are only four tables and the chef is the only one working so it can take a bit for your food to come but it's hot, fresh and WELL worth the wait! Laura Packard: Staff were all friendly and helpful.The online QR code ordering was extremely confusing, especially for a party of seven so I would suggest asking for a server rather than using technology.Thai basil margarita was SO GOOD, esquites the bomb and the stuffed bell pepper with ground beef was unlike any Mexican dish I’ve ever had at another restaurant.Highly recommend.
