THE BATTLEBOX VIDEO GAMES: what do users think?

Stephanie Leffelman: BattleBox is a great addition to the gaming community in Milwaukee. It’s a unique shop for all nerds and “blerds” alike. If you’re looking for anything video game related, old or new, definitely give Battle a call! His shop is clean, organized and filled with a great collection of games and even figurines. If you’re looking for something in particular, give him a call and he will have it ready to go when you arrive. Also, be sure to call when you arrive at shop so he can let you in since it’s a pre-arranged transaction. The Battle Lounge next door is also a great and safe place to come and have some drinks, dance, make friends and have fun! Battle is a great guy, and cares a lot about the community. Definitely an alternative to GameStop and a great way to support a local business!

Alan Calvin: Definitely a staple in the “Blerd” community. I always find rare games, collectibles, and figurines at The Battlebox. He has such a wide variety of products it’s a hidden gem in Milwaukee for sure. The Battle Lounge attached to the shop always hosts amazing events ranging from karaoke, anime nights with special ramen, to cosplay, as well as tournaments to compete for fun, prizes and glory. The Battle Lounge also serves a whole menu of video game themed specialty drinks! I met a lot of good friends who were into the same interests I have, which is rare to find in an urban setting. Place is truly one-of-a-kind, and I highly recommend checking it out, or following their page on Facebook for upcoming events. Just be sure to call first before stopping by the shop so he can personally have your items you’re looking for set aside and ready to go while you browse for anything else.

Sheboygan Staff: Lots of rare stuff hiding in there.

Drew Demeny: Not a traditional game store, but not in a bad way. As others say, items are not priced and you need to call to be let in, but neither of these things were issues for me. I asked for a copy of Pokemon Black, and Battle gave me a reasonable price. I also walked out with a Pikachu GBA SP. Battle has an incredible collection and runs the store solo, so I totally get his policies. He was incredibly friendly to me when we chatted about games, life, and running a business. I will definitely be back!He also does an awesome reward program for students. Each time students bring in a report card, they receive a $5 off token. If they can save up four tokens, the $20 value doubles to $40. As a teacher, I think this is an awesome thing to do to academically support students. Battle even gave me a $5 off coupon for teaching the youth. The store was clean, well organized, and overall an awesome experience. As long as you’re respectful and understand what you’re going into, I definitely recommend Battlebox!

Tristian Curry: This is my favorite place to go whenever I'm looking for an old game system great prices the owner is very friendly and fair 10 out of 10 recommend overall great prices great atmosphere great customer service

Daryl MILLER: I've done great biz nis

Carter Jacobson: Great store, re buying all the games I used to love as a kid!

Jaime Star: This place is legit, great gear and very passionate owner

Shepherd Shepard: I love play station

Samuel Todd: I was visiting town and decided to check out Battle Box. I wasn't familiar with their business model but the owner took time out his busy day to explain to me how the are different from other game stores. I think this business is genius and is truly doing some amazing events for the community. I take multiple trips to the Milwaukee area in summer and I guarantee I'll check out what Battle Box is doing every time I'm here. Thanks so much Battle and I wish you the best!!!

Matthew White: Great owners.

NES Matt's Old School Video Game Repair,LLC: what do users think?

Mitchell Regan: Matt is an incredible person that provides outstanding service! I dropped our colecovision off that I thought was hopeless to bring back to life. He repaired it and got it working better than ever at an affordable price! I even got to buy some new games. If you have a cartridge game system in need of repair, go to NES Matt's Old School Video Game Repair! You will not be disappointed!

Andrew Brovelli: Matt was phenomenal when it comes to service! He was able to repair my Nintendo Virtual Boy and get it up and running again! He even cleaned the entire system up and made it look brand new!!! Super friendly and great to work with!!! NES Matt's is the ONLY place I will take repairs too! Thanks Matt!!!

Joshua Hanover: Matt took my barely functioning NES and made it like new. He also cleaned our 30 to 40 games, fixed some controllers, and went above and beyond to help with other miscellaneous things. Great communication, friendly service, and insanely competitive prices.Send him your stuff now, because he's in high demand!

Jo Jones: Exceptional service! Matt fixes a wide variety of vintage systems, and they are always as good as new when you get then back. I highly recommend NES Matt!

Thomas Michael Sylke (Sylke Beach): Utterly phenomenal at what he does; satisfied greatly with my experience with him.

Joe Margan: Matt knows his stuff!

Eric Monroe Schellinger IV: Awesome service. Matt was able to bring my NES system back to life. Can't wait to get it home to play it!

Chad Ross: Really helpful over the phone to trouble shoot an old gaming system providing direction and advice to fix my system. Doesn’t hold back any information.

Dalia Ignacio: Great guy!!! Repaired my SNES and cleaned my N64 and games, they both now work like new! Reliable, knowledgeable and very reasonable. He is the man to see for all your old school gaming needs. He has earned a loyal customer

jose vasquez jr: Awesome dude! Super friendly.. knowledgeable and professional. repaired my NES..just bought a pristine Intellivision and genesis from him! My go to guy for classic consoles..repair and games!

Jarrett: Great guy. Very knowledgeable and honest with any work he'd do. If he doesn't have the capability to do something, he'll tell you up-front, where others might tear it down, start the work and only then find that they can't do it...potentially ruining your system in the process. I highly recommend Matt for video game repairs.

Tim Hawkins: I cannot recommend this business enough. I brought in an old Sega, a Sega CD, and a PS4 controller hoping he could help. Not only did he fix them, but he made them look brand new as if I had just bought them off the shelf. He was very friendly , and his service was impeccable. His prices were insanity... In a good way! I will forever be a customer going forward and will recommend this business to anyone.

Mega Media Xchange: what do users think?

Cali Murray: Lots of funkos and cool stuff

Cynthia Ortiz: Cool place, lots of good finds

Tanner Engle: Leaving a new review, store has tons of stock good prices, if you need anything you have to find an employee yourself and ask for help they won't offer it at all, new location so I understand it's a cluster still but some employees do need to work on customer service skills and do better. Not a bad place to buy would come here again.

Robert Libby: Good place to find older hard to find flicks and games

Chubs McRubs: Staff is always ready to help!

Andrew Reichel: Last week, I had the pleasure of meeting Terry at The TP Games store. When I first walked in, I could tell that his store was not your average Electronic store/Videogame. The layout of the store was well organized and his items were arranged in a professional way so all the potentialcustomers can see what he has to sell.I recommend TP Games store to anyone that wants a positive and enjoyable shopping experience.
