Justine Jade: his was such a beautiful and perfect venue for our wedding day! Ray and Annie were great with their organization and communication to help make our day perfect! They are both so kind and answered all of our questions quickly, no matter how big or small of a question. We were even able to schedule a couple venue walk throughs. The venue is absolutely beautiful! It accommodated our guest count perfectly. It was a colder spring day, but the rooftop area had heaters on so guests could still be outside.

The space is so beautiful and unique which allowed our wedding photos to shine. Many of our guests came up to us to tell us that our wedding was the best and most beautiful wedding they have ever attended. We had the best wedding ever at the Atrium!

Claudia G.: and throughout the planning and the event, the entire staff was professional, responsive and kind. The facility is gorgeous with exposed brick walls and a stunning rooftop garden. The groomsmen used the lower level to get ready. We held the ceremony on the main floor. We used the rooftop for a cocktail hour and then returned to the main floor for dinner and dancing, while still having the rooftop available for drinks, conversation and cigars. We also did a sparkler send off on the rooftop. Thank you to Josh, Ray and especially Lori for making this a wonderful event!

Lynn: So much more spacious than it looks from first appearance. I do think they need a larger sign in front of their venue, however. As a seasoned sign salesperson, I can tell you that that is very difficult to read. Anyway. I don't want to give away too many secrets, but the building is three floors all together. Main floor is where the ceremonies are held, and then you go up to the atrium which is open air, for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. There are different seating areas, some at the front of the building that faces Capitol Dr., and some at the back. The grounds were very pretty in the back part of the atrium, which was also a little more roomy than the front of the atrium. Then the first floor undergoes a makeover and becomes a lovely venue for a wedding reception, with a bar and plenty of space to dance. The food was catered; it was quite good. Staff, whether Caterers or from The Atrium, were all very polite and professional and attentive. There's parking on Capitol, behind the place, some street parking, and then you have to get creative. Even though it was 92 degrees outside, the first floor where most of our time was spent remained very comfortable. I liked being in the area, and there's just more to this place than meets the eye than when you first see it.

T C.: Saz’s and Michelle were so great to work with! Michelle made our wedding magical and made it so enjoyable for us and all of our guests. The space is large and accommodating and the loft space is a nice get away if needed. The food was amazing as well and we got many compliments! Forever grateful for this team!

Food stations were spaced throughout and we sat and sampled the different options. Food was very good, the consultants stopped at each table to answer questions. It really helped us narrow down our menu selection. It is a nice venue and well organized.

Andrew Ferguson: We absolutely loved having our event at The Box, and planning with Jamie Berger and Levine was such a treat! We originally had our wedding celebration planned for May of 2020, then due to covid moved to October 2020, then once again to October of 2021. They could not have been more accommodating for us moving our event 2x, during a time where their business I am sure was taking a hit due to the pandemic. Both Jamie’s were always incredibly responsive and accommodating to whatever we needed during the whole process.When it came the day of, they came in even a bit earlier than our contract time to make sure the band could setup on time. During the actual event, I don’t think it could have possibly gone smoother than it did. Our manager Katelynn had everything under control, the bartenders were great and our guests never had to wait for a drink, and when it came tear down time Katelynn had helped pack all of our decorations so we could continue to go and enjoy ourselves.Thanks again to both Jamie and Jaime for helping us have such an amazing day, and would 1000% recommend using The Box for any sort of event.

She was so accommodating, had great insight for setup and was so helpful with decisions at Rehearsal and a major player on Wedding Day. Jamie has a warm personality mixed with humor that chased all my anxiety away. We had a wedding party of 16 in addition to the Bride and Groom and had seating for 170 at the Ceremony and the venue was plenty spacious. I would highly recommend The Box for an event and couldn't be more pleased with our experience.
Cindy Cooper: Can’t rave enough about having my daughter’s wedding at The Box last weekend! I worked with Jamie Berger so I knew I was in good hands. I can’t even imagine all the work that went into getting the space ready. All I know is that when we walked in I knew my daughter’s vision had come to life. Jamie nailed the ambience. The staff that night was excellent —- very quick to remove any dirty dishes or glasses. All seemed very friendly and dressed well. The bartenders were particularly fun. For me, it was a great experience from beginning to end. I highly recommend The Box!

The venue is beautiful with the Cream City Brick wall and massive square footage. I worked with Jaime Levine. She was very attentive to all of the details for my Grandma’s special day. Sam Boyle: Where do I begin? First of all, Jaime and her staff were very friendly and willing to work with us with everything going on with the pandemic. They were gracious enough to let us postpone our party until the following year which allowed us to get our whole family to the party. Leading up to the party, they helped us with everything we could think of along the way. From planning to catering to working with the band that we hired. My wife and I couldn't be happier with how everything went, and everyone that attended said they loved the venue. Highly recommend!
Amarii Hall: The Box is an absolute gem in the city of Milwaukee. Not only is it in the heart of downtown, but it also is the perfect venue for your next event. I love the versatility this space has and there is so much room for creativity. Being in contact with the owners and coordinators of the space has truly been an eventful experience and I would highly recommend getting to know them. My event was pushed back one day because of the Bucks finals and they were more than understanding, they were flexible. If you're looking for a space to have your event with a perfect set up and a welcoming environment, this is the place for you. 10/10, would recommend.

distinct person: Went to A Taylor Swift Tribute Concert. It was fantastic. I really don't know Taylor Swift songs that well but my date loves them. And to have them performed by a quartet in a candlelit setting was really original and special. Plus they had a "Travis Swift" specialty drink that was original and delicious. And idk if it happens all the time, but for the last 2 songs they let us sing along and take pics.The quartet was excellent. I loved their intros to the songs and the arrangements were great. I would have loved to talk to them afterwards and take some pics. But they disappeared right away. Waited around but they never came back.

Hannah Davis: We got married a few weeks ago and we are so incredibly happy with our decision to have our reception at The Grain Exchange. Maria and Christean were phenomenal to work with - from the initial consultation through the day of the event. Everything, from the gorgeous room to the fantastic food to the flow of events, was spectacular. I had many people comment that the food was the best they've had at a wedding. That's what you get with Bartolotta's! The day was above and beyond what we had hoped for and we can't recommend the team at The Grain Exchange highly enough.

Spencer Berglund: went above and beyond in every respect in terms of planning and execution. Not just for us but for our guests as well! We received numerous compliments on choosing the venue and just how helpful all the staff was from start to finish. Very spacious and great flow in the room overall. Would highly recommend to any couple looking for somewhere special to host their momentous big day. You won’t regret it!

She made the planning process feel less overwhelming and was super helpful in facilitating the evening! Our guests were super impressed by the space and being able to bring in our own caterer was appreciated as we had a shoestring budget. We will definitely use this venue again in the future! Cannot recommend enough!
Benjamin Davis: The Filament was an incredible in just about every way. The aesthetic was exactly what we were looking for, the size was perfect for our wedding of 160, and the staff was amazing. Our day-of coordinator Olivia was instrumental in keeping us on track with our schedule while making sure we had the perfect day. The bartenders were friendly and professional, keeping our guests well hydrated all night, and even helping us pack up at the end of the reception. Our experience from start to finish could not have been better, we’d recommend this venue to anyone.

The parking & bridal suite on site are available at an extra cost, it was SO convenient worth it. They work exclusively with Milwaukee Airwaves as their DJ, and after working with Kevin, we totally understand why! A big thanks to all the staff at Filament!!

So grateful for her!!We received so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful the space was and the friendliness of all Filament event staff. We wish we could have a lot more events to plan just to work with the Filament team and enjoy the beautiful space again! Filament and the event staff have such a special place in our hearts!
P. Kahn: Fantastic venue for a wedding. Food was fantastic and the bar service was great. We had everyone drinking tequila gimlets by the end of the night as that is a go-to drink for us in the summer. Highly recommend if you're thinking of using this location. Sorry I don't have any pics.

They were very helpful throughout the process and on our wedding day. Nick Brenning was our wedding coordinator and he did a phenomenal job. He made sure to say yes to all our desires to make our day perfect! The Filament was straight forward with pricing. They had no extra “surprise” fees from start to end. Beautiful space. Jack Brenning, with Milwaukee Airwaves, was a great dj who catered to our desires. 10/10 recommend.

The cream city brick walls, overflowing greenery, big windows, and fun lighting makes for the perfect wedding venue. It's tucked away from the busy city streets, so it creates an intimate, cozy atmosphere. On top of all that, the people there are PHENOMENAL. The staff was so helpful every step of the way in making our event a success! I would absolutely recommend Filament to couples looking for a dreamy, industrial, Milwaukee wedding venue, and I hope to be back in the future!!

He is truly amazing! The bartenders along with the DJ through Milwaukee Airwaves kept the party going all night long. Can’t recommend this venue enough!

Sarah: Honest review- We cannot express how perfect our day was at Birch. Our ceremony was outdoors in the courtyard,-it was so beautiful with the string lights, elegant chiavari chairs, and greenery. Perfect for something more intimate. The interior space is gorgeous on its own and doesn't need much added décor. You are welcomed into the space with a rustic bar, cream city brick, and modern lighting. We were originally discouraged about the McDonald's across the street being visible and the traffic noise. Neither were an issue!! The music drowned out any outside noise and the space was so nice you don't even notice the next door business. Trees and all the bushes cover much of North ave. Besides the setting, the services were wonderful. They worked very well with all the vendors to make it all come together. Ray, was our contact and he was so pleasant and we felt assured working with him. Lori, was on site in the evening and attended to all requests. We loved most that they made it all easy. We also went with sound by design as a package deal. All around excellent. Thank you again to all who made our day perfect.Best,Sarah and Blake

Brandon Brown - Roost Photography: I love weddings at Jan Serr Studio! I love how conveniently Jan Serr is located almost as much as I love its modern industrial vibes - it’s a close thing. Located in one of the trendier spots in Milwaukee, it also happens to be right by Black Cat Alley and the Oak Leaf trail granting access to both artistic graffiti walls and a surprising amount of green and trees amidst all the cool east side buildings. The Venue itself is stunning inside and out - concrete and steel and glass - all with a warm feel to it. And the view from the main window is to die for - providing and incredible canvas for all the wedding action!

From the beginning Katie was friendly, incredibly responsive, and so helpful to us through the planning process. She helped us with the layout of the room as well as parking for our guests, signage in the building, and overall just being a great coordinator. The bartenders were AWESOME and we have gotten so many compliments on them from our guests. The space is incredible and with their string lights and the GIANT windows it made the night feel magical. We would 100% do it all again, and I will be recommending them to friends and family.

There is a huge window that was the backdrop for the couple and a nice outside balcony where you have the lake as a backdrop. The dinner was catered by Sam's. Which was excellent. The strawberry, goat cheese and arugula salad did not disappoint. There is street parking or 2 pay lots right next to the venue that are decently priced.

One of my bridesmaids told me she has never seen such a terrific coordinator! Mandi really did everything we wanted and when our champagne wall didn’t fit the glasses, they took it in back and fixed the wall to fit the glasses!! If you are looking for a low stress day, this is your venue! Our caterers also raved about how much they loved working with this venue. The venue is naturally gorgeous and required very little extra decor! The bridal suite was perfect and fun to get ready in! The suite is the size of an apt, has a kitchen, getting ready tables, etc. They even have a speaker already there. Our DJ, Charlie, did such an amazing job. Our guests loved the dancing music but also really loved the cocktail hour and dinner music. He really made it an experience for us and our guests.

Ben Kinsman: I attended a wedding at the Ivy house on October 29th, I was impressed with how smooth the day went from ceremony to restaurant. The amazing bar staff were on it, they were incredibly nice, kept the drinks going all night, and if something was spilled they were on top of it right away. As for the dance floor, I almost blew my back out dancing so hard. DJ Nick crushed it and kept the party going all night. Awesome Wedding venue!
Tyra Leonard: Beware of the train!!! This is one of my favorite wedding venues. I am a wedding photographer and I’m at venues every Saturday.It photographs beautifully and just checks all of the boxes in my opinion.But be aware of the railroad track right next to the venue. I did photograph a wedding there once where multiple trains went by during the ceremony so you couldn’t hear anything. We basically had to stop the ceremony.I would definitely still choose this venue. I would just be aware of the train and maybe have an indoor ceremony or look into that more.
