Waterford Wine & Spirits Milwaukee: what do users think?

Brian Schmidlkofer: Not bad at all. Nice people good town good booziest.

Benjamin Duyck: Great people. Great wine. Love shopping here and their mailing list is top notch.

Cathy Stadler: Nice place with a variety of wines. The staff are knowledgeable during wine tastings or service hours.

Brinton Resto: Great wine shop. Fun tastings.

Kevin Weiss: Fantastic spot. Wine selection is next level. Spirit selection is good for whiskey and getting better. Niche Spirit are plentiful. Fantastically knowledgeable individuals

Marilyn Boeldt: Amazing selection, helpful friendly staff

Will Cappon: Awesome wine store with good deals as well as wine tastings! Not too many options in Milwaukee for wine, but this is my favorite.

Taylor: Predominantly a wine store, but they do have a liquor selection tucked in the back. Bourbon and whiskey selection was reasonably priced for being such a nice establishment, but I do wish they had more variety. Managed to pick up a nice bottle of scotch for a very good price as it was half off on the bottom shelf.Update: I visited again after a month or so and their liquor selection was bigger and better! Picked up a bottle I had been hunting for a good price.

John Korndoerfer: Staff was friendly snd helpful.

Kari Miller: Superior, knowledgeable staff. I enjoy their emails which tell a lovely story about the featured wine. All price ranges available with some great bargains.

Hans: Best in town! Fantastic selection of EU prime at very reasonable prices.

Paul Hans: They have what I needed.

Stephanie Joppa: Lovely wine store with a very thoughtful collection. All price ranges available. Helpful staff. I really love the wine tastings: excellent bargain and easy way to try some truly outstanding wines for a very reasonable price…and learn something along the way!Absolute gem.

Thief Wine Shop & Bar: what do users think?

Sciurus Carolinensis: , among mostly Stouts and Fruited Sours - I get why most breweries would go this route, but this business could do better since it can buy whatever it wants. Would be nice to see a better variety, to represent other traditional styles

Ashley Langford: Awesome variety of wine at great prices! They always have something interesting to try, and the proprietor has great taste - the menu is always really nice. There is beer available as well. They have some snacks you can munch on at the bar, or you can bring food from the other Market vendors to have with your wine. They also have a good rewards program and host tasting events from time to time.

The Borg Cooking Show: Wonderful place to get a wine flight. The bartenders are very knowledgeable about wines and wine related products.

Benjamin Weber: Good recommendations on wine with a wide selection-- cheese plate was definitely worth it!

Monty Edson: Nice place for a glad of wine before dinner.

Plamen Penev: The best of midwest hospitality and a reasonably priced, eclectic wine selection!

Amanda Miller: FANTASTIC and knowledgeable staff! Super friendly, great with suggestions for the undecided or exploring new wines. The are truly the guides you need for any wine occasion!

Vino Third Ward - Wine Bar & Store: what do users think?

bee zelenyy: my favourite bar in the third ward. House is very reasonably priced and the bartenders, Ryan and Rachel, make it a very welcoming environment. Ryan is very knowledgeable and always recommends something i would like. Rachel is very friendly and a great server. i regularly come for the game night, very fun place to unwind after a busy day!

Melanie Bergemann: Bingo on Wednesdays, Trivia on Thursdays and wine flights daily. I love this place!

DELETED MEDIA: An institution

Debra Warner: I had a private holiday party at Vino Third Ward. What an outstanding choice for a venue. The GM went out of her way to anticipate my requests and even made custom menus. And our bartender was professional and efficient and loved by all. I encourage you to stop in and try them out!

Jennifer Keippel: The space is so cute! Ryan did such an amazing job for our rehearsal dinner, he was so attentive and made it so fun!

Kim Ruskusky: Stopped in for a glass of wine with friends before dinner. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a beverage. Wine was great and service was even better!

Jeremy Miller: Great stop w awesome staff! They have cheese boards for food but are also next to so many great bites and other stops in the city. Stop for a sip or two.

Gabrielle Musacchio: . The cheese board options were plentiful and delicious and filling to pair with the wine and mead.It was extremely accommodating that they served other beverages to one of our group that did not like wine - I know... but they had bourbon and gin! ;

Nonfiction Natural Wines: what do users think?

Jamie Waters: We have been dying to try this place and finally stopped by to sit on their lovely patio. They have an incredible selection of great wines at a variety of price points. They had a some of our favorite natural wines that we have had a very hard time finding. They are also dog friendly which is a win in my book! We will be back to both shop for bottles to take home and to enjoy a glass on site!

diane diel: What a treat to experience wines treated and processed differently from the rest. Everything about walking in and trying the wines was lovely.

Emily Anderson: . You can buy by the glass or a bottle. They charge a corking fee. They also have some snacks. Its decorated well and the seating options were nice.

Mike: Enjoyed a nice natural sweet vermouth and some comforting focaccia in an airy, inviting space. If these things appeal to you, then check out Nonfiction.

Rob S: Atmosphere: 5/5

Matthew Richards: Charming natural wine bar with an exciting glass list and super friendly, easy going, staff. Thanks for making our unexpected night in Milwaukee a memorable one.

Andrea Bartosh: We found it based on the location on the map, but they could use a sign out front. Inside it's small and intimate. Very small bar that seats about 6 people. There are tables as well, but not a space for parties of more than 4. The atmosphere was very chic, clean, and simple. There were 8 wines to purchase by the glass, and a good size bottle selection to choose from with a $10 corkage fee. We tried a glass each of the red selections - Syrah from Sonoma and a Spanish red. While the wines were good, they were nothing special. We tried the focaccia, which was delicious. Highly recommend this "snack" from the menu. The service was fantastic. We purchased a few bottles to take home and try. Happy to see a selection of wine that is unique and not readily available in grocery stores.
