Tom Grable: My 15 year old son and I took the Introductory Woodworking course and it was a great experience. Ken, the instructor, was extremely patient, encouraging and thorough through the entire 3 part class. We got hands on experience with a jointer, planer, radial arm saw, table saw and router. I highly recommend this class.
Jacob Holmes: Had an issue with customer service but Chris went out of his way to make it right and he did. Things like this are what have me coming back.
Bob Regalia: Walked in to see what this place was all about.Well.. it's woodworking... from beginner tools.. to advanced high end tools, and everything in-between. Pen and pencil turning kits.. epoxy.. glue, sandpaper, chisels, dust collection, exotic wood, basically everything you need or want... all in one store. Staff greeted me as soon as I walked in and respected my request to just walk around and soak it all in.

I walked away with not only the basics of turning, but also the knowledge of which tools and accessories would allow me to continue turning. The class size was small and Rick was very knowledgeable and helpful answering any and every question we had. In addition, this gave me the perfect opportunity to shop the store and pick up a few things I'd been putting off. While all of the store staff was courteous and helpful I do want to give a shout out to Linc as well who spent time answering my questions about various tools and again assisting me. Service is one of the most important reasons I shop Rockler instead of some random online outlet.

Rick was SO patient and friendly and kind and helped me make my very first bowl, which impressed everyone I showed it to. I couldn't put it down! I love that I got to take home a bowl that *I* made. I don't think I put it down for several hours.It was such an awesome class, and those few hours went by so quickly but I got so much experience in and will feel even more comfortable when I take this class again, because the instruction is SO great and it makes me want to immerse myself even more into woodworking. It's become my passion. I recommend this class to EVERYONE. Thank you, Rick and Rockler!Edited to add: I just took a pen turning class with Gary this past weekend, and it was fantastic! He offered me with wood options and then guided me through how the mechanism worked, how to use the tool, how to best move my body for great results and less fatigue, and then showed me how to get a perfect glossy finish at the end! I chose curly maple, and it turned out beautifully!They even get into whatever it is that you made, which makes you feel really good about how you did. And it's awesome because they all make BEAUTIFUL things themselves.What I really love about our Rockler is that they know who I am by name, always greet me warmly, and give fantastic customer service and offer guidance when I am sometimes unsure of what I am trying to achieve. Plus their wood is GORGEOUS.

This was for a water tank at our community garden. Finally got around to fixing a leaky tank valve. Ordered a part or two online, stopped at a couple places until I ended up here. Everyone is super attentive at Bliffert. The store is very organized. They worked for as long as it took to figure it out and they didn’t give up. The final product is in the picture. I love this place. Not for nothing, I love my neighborhood Ace but wow, what an experience! Hooray, we got our tank valve fixed!!!!! From the urban farmers at our garden, Thank You. 🌽🥕 🥒🥔 ☀️

Savanna: Dock is reasonably tight- but they are spaced out enough that they aren't too bad to hit. Took almost 2 hours to load- but the broker hadn't notified them that the load was even picking up today. Friendly folks. However it's pretty tight to pull back out of the gate if there is a car parked in the first spot next to it- and you really need that to get out if you're in the first dock- slide your tandems before you try to pull out.Please ask employees not to park there if possible- a rookie will be an accident waiting to happen there.Street dead ends into business. Shouldn't have any issues finding it. Would pickup here again. I wouldn't try to park here ahead of time. The street is wide- but I don't know if you'd get towed on it. And people drive fairly carelessly on this road.
