Rose Plewa: I’ve been attending Wild Boot Camps now for 1.5 years and it’s made such a positive impact on my life both mentally and physically. This is the longest I’ve successfully stuck with an exercise routine and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. The Wild community is so supportive and I find myself motivated to be accountable to the trainers and my peers. Wild boot camps are a judgement-free zone with knowledgeable, creative trainers that focus on form and safety. We have a new workout plan every class with a good balance of strength and cardio. Each class I can decide if I want to push myself or modify the exercise to meet me where I’m at. The studio is clean and has great equipment. I am so grateful to the Wild community!

Kate O'Keefe: Wild Workouts and Wellness has helped me achieve fitness goals I would have never thought possible ten years ago. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable, and can tailor small group sessions to meet a diversity of client needs and skillsets. The community and coaches alike are incredibly supportive of and encouraging to one another. Very few things can get me up and out of bed at 5am three days per week. This is the top reason I do so!

Immediately after getting into the 10-day trial, my partner and I were warmly greeted, given a tour of the space, and were offered small check-ins and motivational messages by the owner, Ryan, and by the other trainers. We got to experience all of the classes offered, and it was a no-brainer to fully join.The workouts are challenging, the trainers are hands-on to ensure you know what you’re doing, and you leave each workout feeling accomplished. Kendra Mahoney: Joining OTF has been the most critical part of my journey towards a healthier, happier me. I joined in October 2017 and have been going at least 3 times per week every week since. Business and personal travel are rarely at issue because I can usually find another OTF where I'm headed. The workouts are never the same and are always challenging and fun - I can honestly say I've never been bored in the 325+ classes I've attended so far. The Coaches and desk staff are friendly and helpful. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience so far. I’ve lost over 25 lbs in a healthy and sustainable way.

Nick Mueller: This is best workout studio in the Milwaukee area!! They have the most fun and knowledgeable coaches coupled with hard hitting and effective work outs.

Drehdeck Drehdeck: Great place. Tough workouts and seems intimidating, but coaches are great and no one is judgmental. It’s a really great environment to workout.

Victoria Davis Davila: No matter where you are in your fitness journey, check out F45 if you are looking for a place to keep you motivated, engaged and making progress. The trainers are really knowledgeable and take the time to get to know you so they can help you reach your goals. Even if it might look intense if you are walking past - you can modify the workout to fit your needs. Every few weeks there are new 6 week challenges that are fun and help you hit goals. I just hit my 200th class and I still learn new exercises every week. The team training environment is really awesome and the gym has a positive and welcoming atmosphere. I have two little kids and run a business and F45 is my self care!

Jacob Davida: First of all, the community at F45 is awesomely engaging and friendly thanks to the amazing trainers who are friendly, knowledgeable, and know how to push or support you at the right times. This gym has an amazing formula to keep you fit and excited at the same time and the classes change regularly to keep you engaged. My body composition changed noticeably after even a couple of months of 4-5 classes a week. I like that they cover cardio and resistance on different days to get a total body workout - you can bulk up or tone depending on how you decide to push yourself.

What is even more important to me than being toned though is that when I go, I feel like I’m surrounded by friends. I have friends from barre that I now get together with outside the studio. They also do fun events throughout the year and serve wine at barre on Fridays. If you’re looking to workout and have fun - this is your spot!

I've been training here since Nov. 2020.Nate was immediately responsive to give me a tour of the gym and help me get comfortable when I signed up. Ricky helped me out with his diet and meal planning expertise that I still use today. I train strength and conditioning 4x per week, 2 days by myself, 2 days I train with Travis. He has encyclopedic knowledge of human movement patterns and I cannot speak highly enough of his skills as a trainer. I've had significant increases in strength, can now add way more weight to the bar, and my overall health is at an all-time high.More recently I've started training Jiu-Jitsu with Avery. If you would have asked me 10 years ago if I thought I would be in the best shape of my life at 40 and taking up a martial art for fun, I would have laughed. Huge thanks to everyone at CoMotion for creating such an incredible environment for personal growth.

Olivia Ruuska: I joined HOTWORX in January and have been going consistently ever since. I’m not one who has always been super motivated to workout, but HOTWORX changed that for me, I genuinely look forward to going every morning. Their workouts are great because they are lead by a virtual instructor which is what I need. When there are days when I don’t have a lot of time for a workout, I can go and do one of their 15 minute HIIT classes and I still feel great afterwards, then I can get back to my busy day. The staff are so friendly and always remember me by name. It’s a positive environment anytime that I go. I contemplated joining for sooo long, and I am so glad that I did. I don’t particularly love lifting weights, so this was a great choice for me. But, on days when I want to use weights, they have that option as well! Highly recommend joining.

Also, the whole hotworx team is welcoming, helpful and made me feel like I really belonged. The facility is always spotless, and I love being able to book a workout with the app and roll in whenever is best for me! Jennifer Vollstedt: I started working with Katelyn this summer after years of not working out. I was previously athletic, but struggled to get back into fitness because I had unrealistic expectations and would get frustrated with myself and stop. I told Katelyn this during my intake and she’s really helped me make amazing progress and slowly eased in to pushing me harder without scaring me away!It’s so nice to go to the gym and workout HARD, but have a wonderful time because I get to spend and hour with a fantastic person.On top of all of that I had a very unstable shoulder from an old injury. I forgot, and Katelyn noticed right away on my consult and has really made a huge improvement on the strength and stability that’s I’ve been struggling with for a decade.I always look forward to my sessions with Katelyn and feel excited to go workout!

Paul Nowak: Step Above Training is true to its name. The big difference for me is that Dave truly customizes his workouts to your needs. Example - I was dragging one morning and he noticed my walk was different as I walked across the street from my car. He changed our leg workout on the fly so I could mobilise more and then changed the exercise so I would not be injured. Many places just throw the same standard workout at you with little thought or planning. Not the case here. One of the other trainers Eric can often be seen trying new exercises himself before his client gets in. Highly recommend checking it out if you are struggling to hit your goals.

thomas garcia: I’ve had Dave Myers as a trainer for years including before and after open heart surgery. Dave had been a thoughtful and careful planner in that recovery to meet my goals for gradual progress back to an active and fit lifestyle. Sessions are never the same and always adjusted for our longer term goal and any surprise condition I have that day. Through Dave’s guidance, I’ve shifted to a thoughtful, mindful view of movement, stamina, and strength that discards gym jock self judgement. I’ve watched trainers at other gyms and often don’t see the attentiveness and insight that Dave has shown me and others. From balanced overall body fitness to working around temporary injuries, Dave worked as a guide helping me stay surprisingly fit and active. Dave always has a plan. I’m 72 now. Dave will continue to be an important part of my goals for quality of life.

Rawi Khateeb: The staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable. They are able to help you achieve your fitness goals in a very personalized manner with the added benefit of a very fun team training option that will always challenge you no matter your current fitness level

TAAHIRAA THOMAS: I have been with Step above training for about a month now. Dave and the rest of the staff has been amazing. He is patient, understanding, and has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the mechanics of working out and personal training. Very professional and provides results for his clients.

Jack Chamberlain: Trainers are phenomenal and among the best in Milwaukee. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and design workouts based on your personal goals. Everybody is welcome, regardless of experience level. I participate in HIIT classes weekly, and I never leave disappointed. They are challenging with a wide variety of exercises. Dave is always watching to make sure your form is correct, and you are working out safely. I strongly recommend this gym!

First class a very warm "hello" is written on the white boardThe instructors: Born either in Themyscira, Mt. Olympus, Atlantis, or where ever peak athletes are from, they are somehow able to not only do the work out, but say words that are not simply prayers to make it through the awesome but TOUGH classThe workouts: SO HARD. They somehow never get easier in the best of ways. You can always compete against yourself and the environment is conducive to pushing yourself in a safe, even fun way.Summary: This is a great place to mix it up and work your body to new levels. For traditional lifters, if you need some cross training / stability support, barre is your workout, hands down. The set up, the team, and the workouts make this place an 11/ 10

Katie Vander Heiden: I’ve been coming to The Barre Code since 2017 and absolutely love it! The atmosphere, instructors, and classes are great and everyone is so supportive. Regardless of how long you’ve been a member, each class is a challenge where you can continue to push yourself. TBC embeds a healthy approach towards working out; it’s not focused on getting skinny/earning your calories but rather listening to your body and building strength. Can’t recommend it enough!

Makenzie Keith: Joining this gym was one of the best decisions I made for myself in 2023. I meet with my trainer two times a week. Sessions are enjoyable while still challenging. My trainer, Ben, is always encouraging and checks in throughout the week! The facility is clean and the equipment is in great condition. Bigger gyms always intimidated me but here at FitProMKE I have felt welcome since day one. Everyone always greets you with a smile on their face - even if it’s 6am on a Monday. Melanie Zwitter: Evolution Fitness is exactly what I’ve been looking for in the next phase of my fitness journey. From the owner Jon to all the members, I felt welcomed and supported since day one. The classes are challenging and encouraging you to push yourself to perform to the best of your ability with the high emphasis on maintaining proper form. My favorite part of the day!

Juan Avila: Spectacular group of individuals, all at different skill levels encouraging each other in their own journey. Owner/Coach Jon doesn't let you get lost, he learns what your capable of rather quickly and deveolpes the daily workout to your ability allowing and encouraging you to push yourself. Jon never runs out of ideas on how to better your health needs at the gym and at home. Jon is not overbearing and finds great satisfaction in your progress and development.He gives you enough motivation without being overwhelming. Hardest part is walking in the door. Bill Ray: Transform Your Life!!I’m not sure if it’s possible for me to write a short review on how impactful Evolution Fitness has been and continues to be on my life especially now that I’m 50 years old.Being part of this gym for 8 years has made me fitter. It’s made me mentally stronger. It’s made me prioritize sleep and eat healthier.Some might look at our workouts and think that’s crazy CrossFit stuff. Maybe, but the classes lead by owner/lead coach Jon Hubbard and his coaches is catered to individual strengths, mobility, and endurance.Each class starts with stretching. Usually a time to talk to other gym members. Then warmups specific for prepping specific body parts for the workout. Weightlifting which is based on your individual prior lifts. Workout itself which varies every day. Finishing up with optional “beach body” work.Yes each workout is challenging but everyone in the class does it together. Coaches watch to make sure you are executing movements correctly so you don’t get hurt. No one walks away until everyone finishes and high fives and fist bumps are completed.Might be a tad pricier than big box gyms,but isn’t it worth every dollar if you are surrounding yourself with people with similar goals and you can handle work and family life better along with less visits to the doctor? Plus an owner and coaching staff that really cares about you!Please just talk to Jon Hubbard for a free trial.

Martin Sevilla: I’ve been going to EF for a little more than a year now and would say that the amount of growth I’ve gained since I started has been phenomenal. There’s such a nice balance between strength training, cardio, and gymnastics, that I feel has made me stronger than I’ve ever been. Jillian Culver: I came to EF two years ago with no weightlifting experience and a chronic shoulder issue. I needed some accountability and instruction. I'm glad I stuck with it, because it's been a great experience. The coaching is great, the workouts are the right kind of challenging, and everyone is friendly and supportive- something you won't get at an average gym. It's amazing what a little consistency and encouragement can do.

I joined a little over three years ago with no CrossFit experience and the coaches have been amazing at teaching me everything i need to know to progress at all the movements. I have made friends and the community keeps me coming back. Everyone pushes you to be the strongest version of yourself and there are lots of laughs between sets and workouts. I highly recommend!!!

Daniel Schulz: Clean, affordable gym equipped with everything you need to get a good workout in. The receptionist was extremely helpful in the process of getting me signed up. Allowed me to try out the gym before signing up and has been super welcoming. Highly recommend!

I’ve hired a few personal trainers and no one came close to Jose’s training techniques and attention to detail. He pushes you hard and makes sure you’re getting the most out of your workout. I trained with him for 3 months and the results were clear as day. Everyone complimented me on the results thanks to Jose’s expertise,knowledge and his commitment to his clients success. I highly recommend this gym because Jose and the rest of his team have the same vision, to provide the best training and fitness to their clients and follow up with them on a day to day basis.

Christopher Kaske: Friendly, clean, private, welcoming gym. The trainers truly care about helping you reach your goals. I can't recommend this gym enough for weight lifting or fitness beginners or seasoned athletes trying to train for specific goals or events.

She is an excellent instructor and made sure we were safe, using proper form and, most importantly, made sure we had a blast! It was a judgement-free zone and, regardless of your fitness level, this class is for you! She even provided us a video after class, for us only! We will definitely be back!

Mahogany4800: Jerelynn was very good with calling out the exercises and demonstrating them. This was by far the best workout I’ve experienced to date and I was a Zumba instructor, who’ve also taken Werq classes and thoroughly enjoyed them.

Laquen McGraw: Cannot recommend Swoop enough! Jerelynn was a blast, as well as a great instructor. I got in an awesome workout while having a ton of fun. During my bungee level 1 class, she taught a “routine” that she then recorded so I have have footage of the fun. I will absolutely be back and telling friends and family to check it out!
