The Milwaukee Meditation Group was founded in 1969, and is a branch of Self-Realization Fellowship, a non-profit religious organization that was founded in 1920 by Paramahansa Yogananda. We come together most Thursdays to create a peaceful space that will allow us to commune with God in group meditation.

We start our service with a prayer and a chant, followed by meditation. We then have a service reading written by Paramahansa Yogananda and an optional donation. Next is a prayer service for others that is part of the World Wide Prayer Circle that Yogananda created. We close with a prayer and chant.

Tina’s international studies include accreditation from Spain’s Mindful Academy International and her work with Integrated Yoga Therapy has been recognized by professionals and students throughout the United States, Europe, Costa Rica, and Kenya.

“The healing benefits of yoga and mindfulness are well recognized,” says Tina. “In an effort to overcome physical and emotional challenges, I began a practice over forty years ago that I continue to this day. Curiosity and compassion are part of the process.”
