Welcome to the Bronzeville Collective MKE! Our store is the manifestation of collaboration & creative spirit. Initially a pilot the City of Milwaukee-sponsored pop up program (PopUP MKE), we were given 30 days to run our own brick & mortar. Our individual successes in the program were a springboard for us to collaborate and create a space we could call home. The Bronzeville Collective MKE is home to over 30 local creative brands.

The Bronzeville Collective MKE is located in the Historic Bronzeville Arts and Culture District on the corner of Vel Phillips Ave and North Ave across from America’s Black Holocaust Museum.. Bronzeville Milwaukee was once home to hundreds of black owned businesses including grocery stores, restaurants, dress shops, ice cream parlors, social clubs, health and wellness offices and more.

We are excited to be an integral part of the Renaissance in the Historic King Drive Business Improvement District.

In 2016, Tiffany posed a question on Facebook asking creatives, How much would you be willing to pay per month to have dedicated space in a storefront? Lilo commented that this is a vision she had for her business too. Shortly after, we began collaborating at various events to share expenses. These experiences built our collaborative foundation, vision, and a new creative revenue model for The Bronzeville Collective MKE.

TIffany Miller is the creative owner of FlyBlooms - a bold handcrafted adornments company. Lilo Allen is the creative owner of Papyrus & Charms - a culturally conscious wearable art company.
