Dr. Shanti is the utmost expert in this field and if you have any experience with highly knowledgeable, extremely busy doctors in such specialty fields, you would understand that these doctors do not have the time and mental head space to hold your hand and emotionally coach you through your infertility journey. Go get yourself a therapist for that. When you want to get serious about getting pregnant and having a healthy baby, go see Dr. Shanti, she is simply the best at just that. Also for those saying the clinic and she is just in it for the money, she is far too busy to care if she gets your business or not. Dr Shanti has dedicated her entire life to growing families and helping you create a healthy baby. She may not be the soft and fuzzy doctor you want but she is what you need if you’re having trouble conceiving. This clinic is fantastic. I have two healthy babies and 7 more frozen embryos to thank from this clinic.

If you are looking for a doctor who will do everything in her power and knowledge to get you pregnant, look no further. Dr. Shanti is very straight forward, no games or run around and she gets results. Her staff is second to none as well.I've read some of the negative reviews and I'd like to address them. 1. Of course you're on her schedule. She needs to align cycles and appointments. IVF is hard work, on both sides. You have to be willing to do what it takes to get what you want in life. 2. No bedside manner - I promise you Dr. Shanti is an amazing doctor and person. She may come off as "cold" but once you commit to being her patient, she is incredible. I honestly cried at my "graduation" appointment because I'd miss her.We love Dr. Shanti and she'll forever have a special place in our lives.

B A: Dr. Shanti is wonderful! She is thorough, knowledgeable and does everything she can to eliminate issues that may decrease your chances for successful IVF. Her team is also very friendly, knowledgeable and you can tell they love working for her which shows a lot!!Many people say she has no bedside manner but I personally disagree and I think it’s your spouses and/or family’s job to support you during this process. If she was emotionally connected to every patient she would never be able to do her job.

Austin A.: If you are choosing between Aurora and Froedtert, I would definitely choose Aurora. My wife and I had experiences at both and the thoroughness we experienced at Aurora FAR surpasses that of Froedtert. All the reviews of Dr. Shanti's bedside manner are true. I think it's something she is actively working on. However, if at the end of the day you are looking to have a healthy baby, I wouldn't think twice about choosing Aurora over Froedtert. I will list key differences below.- Aurora mandates that each embryo go through genetic testing to ensure that it is a regular embryo. This comes at an additional cost but they simply won't transfer an embryo unless it has been tested and comes back as regular. By doing this, it greatly lowers the chance of a miscarriage. If you and your partner have ever gone through a miscarriage, this is much appreciated.- The financial department not only picks up the phone at Aurora, but they know answers to your questions. The right hand simply did not know what the left hand was doing at Froedtert on a number of levels.- Dr. Shanti's attentiveness is unmatched. As intense as Dr. Shanti comes off in person, she takes that same intensity to all aspects of her job. I'll never forget when my wife called the nurse line one evening after hours with a question about the meds. The person who picked up said she would patch us through. My wife was shocked to have Dr. Shanti pick up the other end of the line! I wrote an email once to both of the Doctors at Froedtert and neither of them even acknowledged the email in person or wrote back.- The restrictions Dr. Shanti placed on my wife after transfer were far more in depth. If nothing else, this made us feel like "wow - they are taking the success of this pregnancy very seriously." It also made us feel like, "wow - why didn't they tell us not to do all those things at Froedtert?" Our last transfer at Froedtert ended in a miscarriage.- Things as simple as the embryo transfer itself were treated like an actual procedure. Dr. Shanti came in wearing scrubs. The nurses had soothing music playing in the background. Both my wife and I were asked to wear scrubs. At Froedtert, everyone walked in wearing street clothes and it felt like a random office visit.- The medicine regimen for my wife was much more intense and definitely more clearly spelled out at Aurora. Again, it just seemed as though they were taking the success of our pregnancy much more seriously than at Froedtert.The bottom line is that if you are going to spend $20,000+ on something as emotionally taxing as IVF, if your choice is between Aurora and Froedtert, there is no choice as far as I'm concerned. Dr. Shanti certainly can be a bit abrasive at times, the reviews are absolutely true. But, her resume, professionalism and thoroughness are unmatched. In my humble opinion, Milwaukee is lucky to have her.

KJ J: I am extremely happy so far. Dr. Schell has been wonderful quickly getting to the root of my Infertility problem. Yes, the wait time is a little long at appointments but she more than makes up for it with her bed side matter. She listens to your concerns answers your questions and always makes sure you understand what is being explained. I've always received calls back from staff when I've left messages. Staff has been friendly and helpful too. Dr. Schell genuinely cares about her patients. I've never had a doctor hand me their personal number incase I run into questions on the weekends. I'm very confident she will help us. I will even leave an updated review later on.

Marisa Arneson: I have been seeing Dr. Sportiello for roughly 8 years. She knows her stuff. Where other doctors had told me I'd never have kids, she told me we'd figure it out, and we did. She's kind, and really listens to your concerns. Lynette, her MA, is simply delightful and so helpful. I saw 3 out of 4 of the doctors with my second pregnancy due to my scheduling issues, and I really liked that no matter who I was seeing, they all had their own ways of doing things, but provided excellent care.

Mary Gundrum: Dr. Schell was extremely helpful to us in our situation with our daughter. Our daughter had undiagnosed endometriosis for years and was unable to get help from any of the obgyn's we took her to. We had one appointment with Dr. Schell and had surgery scheduled two days later to make sure she would get help before she left for college. The wait time may be a bit longer, but when you realize what you are getting in care it makes sense. She is very thorough and makes sure she is solving the problem, not just pushing you through the system. What a refreshing experience for us after years of little to no solutions!

I started seeing Lisa once a week and continued through my egg retrieval, transfer and am now pregnant. I can’t imagine having gone through this without her. I chose Orchid because each staff member is highly educated with extensive credentials.The atmosphere at Orchid is warm and welcoming with private rooms, heated tables and relaxing music. I have been treated by Rebecca, the owner, for a couple of months. She is thorough, thoughtful and professional. She is easy to talk to and she is a great listener. My appointments never feel rushed.In addition to performing acupuncture, Rebecca has provided me with invaluable knowledge on nutrition. After my 3rd treatment, I had a noticeable increase in energy, improvement in digestion and elimination of hot flashes. I always leave the office feeling better than when I walked in and the results are lasting longer after each visit. I consider Rebecca to be a great partner in helping me to achieve my health goals.
