I was trying to beat a play at first base as a college junior when I hyperextended my knee. I returned to running two months post ACL surgery when my knee was as big as a balloon. Six month post-op, I was told by the surgeon that I was out for the remainder of the season. I knew I wanted a career in physical therapy right then. If I could prevent anyone else from being sidelined from doing what they love, I would have tremendous career satisfaction and that is exactly what I have done.

I currently serve as a physical therapist in the Milwaukee Bucks organization. My role within the high performance staff includes player assessment and implementation of protocols throughout the spectrum of injury prevention, injury rehabilitation, season long maintainance, and performance development. Daily workflow allows me to interact with high performance staff members in strength and conditioning, athletic training, nutrition, and recovery.

My goal as a physical therapist for the Milwaukee Bucks is to allow our athletes to achieve success in performance at the highest level - a 2021 NBA championship level. Ensuring our players’ health and well-being while providing a positive environment is at the forefront of my daily efforts.

Throughout my career I have been fortunate enough to work with athletes at all levels and abilities. While not always having the resources that I have at my current position, I have learned what is necessary in guiding an athlete from initial injury back to training and competition.

Education throughout the entirety of a career is something I truly value. I believe in using a patient-centered and research-based approach for rehab and performance development. For me, this entails patient education and following functional strengthening principles.

I have had the opportunity to encounter many great mentors throughout my life. As I continue forward in my career, I look forward to helping the next wave of physical therapy students and graduates achieve their individual successes.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my smoking hot wife, family and friends, building our home gym and working out, hiking, mountain biking, attempting house projects, and camping.
