4worldlovers: Our shop is open to the public and anybody can drop by to test ride and buy a bike in person. All bikes available for sale have been refurbished and road tested, and include one year of free service.

We accept donations of bicycles (any condition), parts, tools and other accessories (no roof racks, please) during open shop hours. We do not have the capacity to pick up bikes, but may consider special arrangements on a case-by-case-basis. Donation receipts are available for tax purposes.

We are always very appreciative of monetary donations as well. Monetary donations help us with parts, tools, supplies, and overhead costs.

We take a white-gloved approach to fixing your bike. Volunteers can help explain how to fix your bike, but it’s up to you to do the work. DIY stands are available first-come/first-served. The suggested donation for the use of of tools and repair stands is $5-10/hr after the first 30 minutes. Please call on the day you plan to stop by to ensure that a stand is available.

If you would like to volunteer, stop by the shop and we’ll get you started. We always need good mechanics, but if you’re willing to learn or willing to help out in other ways, we’ll work something out.

After readying two bikes for sale (or volunteering in other tangible ways) a volunteer may begin putting their hours towards earning a bike. Volunteer time credit is deducted from the price of the bike at a rate of $3/hr. Volunteers are limited to one bike per year.
