Andrew Ferguson: We absolutely loved having our event at The Box, and planning with Jamie Berger and Levine was such a treat! We originally had our wedding celebration planned for May of 2020, then due to covid moved to October 2020, then once again to October of 2021. They could not have been more accommodating for us moving our event 2x, during a time where their business I am sure was taking a hit due to the pandemic. Both Jamie’s were always incredibly responsive and accommodating to whatever we needed during the whole process.When it came the day of, they came in even a bit earlier than our contract time to make sure the band could setup on time. During the actual event, I don’t think it could have possibly gone smoother than it did. Our manager Katelynn had everything under control, the bartenders were great and our guests never had to wait for a drink, and when it came tear down time Katelynn had helped pack all of our decorations so we could continue to go and enjoy ourselves.Thanks again to both Jamie and Jaime for helping us have such an amazing day, and would 1000% recommend using The Box for any sort of event.
Cathy Fischer: We hosted our daughter's wedding ceremony at The Box this past weekend. Working with Jamie Berger was an absolute joy. She was so accommodating, had great insight for setup and was so helpful with decisions at Rehearsal and a major player on Wedding Day. Jamie has a warm personality mixed with humor that chased all my anxiety away. We had a wedding party of 16 in addition to the Bride and Groom and had seating for 170 at the Ceremony and the venue was plenty spacious. I would highly recommend The Box for an event and couldn't be more pleased with our experience.
Cindy Cooper: Can’t rave enough about having my daughter’s wedding at The Box last weekend! I worked with Jamie Berger so I knew I was in good hands. I can’t even imagine all the work that went into getting the space ready. All I know is that when we walked in I knew my daughter’s vision had come to life. Jamie nailed the ambience. The staff that night was excellent —- very quick to remove any dirty dishes or glasses. All seemed very friendly and dressed well. The bartenders were particularly fun. For me, it was a great experience from beginning to end. I highly recommend The Box!

The venue is beautiful with the Cream City Brick wall and massive square footage. I worked with Jaime Levine. She was very attentive to all of the details for my Grandma’s special day. Sam Boyle: Where do I begin? First of all, Jaime and her staff were very friendly and willing to work with us with everything going on with the pandemic. They were gracious enough to let us postpone our party until the following year which allowed us to get our whole family to the party. Leading up to the party, they helped us with everything we could think of along the way. From planning to catering to working with the band that we hired. My wife and I couldn't be happier with how everything went, and everyone that attended said they loved the venue. Highly recommend!
Amarii Hall: The Box is an absolute gem in the city of Milwaukee. Not only is it in the heart of downtown, but it also is the perfect venue for your next event. I love the versatility this space has and there is so much room for creativity. Being in contact with the owners and coordinators of the space has truly been an eventful experience and I would highly recommend getting to know them. My event was pushed back one day because of the Bucks finals and they were more than understanding, they were flexible. If you're looking for a space to have your event with a perfect set up and a welcoming environment, this is the place for you. 10/10, would recommend.

With this being a whole new experience for me, she made sure I had everything I needed and took care of everything behind the scenes. My wife says "it felt like a fairytale", with endless compliments from our wedding guests, we know this to be true.All of St. James 1868's suggested vendors also beat our expectations.Danielle our coordinator, made what could have been a strenuous process, a breeze. distinct person: Went to A Taylor Swift Tribute Concert. It was fantastic. I really don't know Taylor Swift songs that well but my date loves them. And to have them performed by a quartet in a candlelit setting was really original and special. Plus they had a "Travis Swift" specialty drink that was original and delicious. And idk if it happens all the time, but for the last 2 songs they let us sing along and take pics.The quartet was excellent. I loved their intros to the songs and the arrangements were great. I would have loved to talk to them afterwards and take some pics. But they disappeared right away. Waited around but they never came back.

Hannah Davis: We got married a few weeks ago and we are so incredibly happy with our decision to have our reception at The Grain Exchange. Maria and Christean were phenomenal to work with - from the initial consultation through the day of the event. Everything, from the gorgeous room to the fantastic food to the flow of events, was spectacular. I had many people comment that the food was the best they've had at a wedding. That's what you get with Bartolotta's! The day was above and beyond what we had hoped for and we can't recommend the team at The Grain Exchange highly enough.

Marta the owner is a very sweet lady and made sure I received all the info needed to organize my event. The staff at the event was very friendly and helpful. My guest loved the vibes, aesthetics and size of the venue. Will definitely recommend and consider again for future events.
Ara: We chose their venue for our wedding this weekend and we could not have chosen anything better! Martha helped me plan the wedding fast with little time. She set upa plan from start to finish and made sure everything flowed perfect the day of our wedding. Their venue is beautiful, elegant, the music was nice, food was amazing, and decorations she set up made the place look amazing. We received a ton of compliments from our guests about how beautiful the place looked. Martha and her team were very attentive the entire time and made us feel important and special on our day! The owner, Marta, along with her staff, Fran and Morgan, executed the most amazing evening for our friends and family. The food was mouth-watering delicious! The service was exceptionally professional! There were a lot of people behind the scenes that also made our night extra special! Marta was a pleasure to organize this event with and made it very easy for me being that I am from out of the Milwaukee area. She worked her magic in preparing the meal selections to accommodate our unique dietary needs! Last, but certainly not least, try the meatballs!! They are heavenly!!

Benjamin Greenwood: My boyfriend and I went here back in October and loved it so much we ended up coming back there every other day for coffee. We even took the tour and had a much more fun time than either of us expected. I've been coming to this place on and off for awhile for the never-disappointing coffee courtesy of Anodyne, and I would be quick to recommend this cafe to anyone staying in the Pabst district. Nothing beats the charm of this place.I will keep those memories of our days watching the hands of autumn fall on Milwaukee with him forever in my heart.

Dennis Besaw: Attended a wedding at The Miller Room, it is a great location. The bar is well stocked, and the meal was fabulous. All the waitstaff are friendly and very attentive.

Shannon Marusik (Countdowntocampingseason): What an experience in the heart of Milwaukee! Great host, nice, safe setting complete with authentic tacos and real margaritas. They did an excellent job and my group couldn't have been happier with then end result of our board painting and dinner. Excellent value for this experience. A true gem.
Milwaukee Towns Collectibles: 4 & 3/4 stars, food was delicious & love the whole restaurant but always thinking there is room to improve & develop new dishes. First time I have ate @ “RedTaco” kind pricey, but you get what you pay for. Definitely feel like I could keep talking about this place, plenty more to try on the extended menu.
Shira Mizel: This place and the staff are fantastic! I came here as part of a girls trip for my birthday and they were wonderful to work with. We had a private class with Francesca and it was a blast! Most of us had never really painted but somehow we all went home with a great looking painting. The catering from Red Tacos went super smoothly and it was lovely to eat amazing Mexican food while we waited for the canvases to dry. Highly recommend for your next event!

But anyway, if you're looking for more to do than just sit in a bar or watch TV, this is definitely recommended. No experience or skill required. I have already registered for a class during Frida Fest in July. Looking forward to more classes. I would make this at least monthly outing when more classes are able to be scheduled. Give it a whirl!

Also, the instructor was so nice and so patient with us. This place is such a gem and I would definitely recommend it for a fun girls night out or even for a fun family night out.

Jackie Bordak: Great event space. The first floor room layout can be challenging for DJ sound as some tables may have an overhang, making it challenging for speeches to be heard during weddings. Upstairs is nice with a balcony overlooking 70th Street with a small bar and social space available for cocktails. The bar on the first floor has a better back bar selection than the upstairs bar.The cream city brick walls make this venue feel like a true Historic Milwaukee space without the traffic of Downtown.

I would like to thank the entire team for all the hard work they put in helping plan our day. They set up everything so beautifully and helped take it all down at the end!! José Francisco Bravo: I found out about Onesto while I was living in Milwaukee for a year. From the very first night it has always been an amazing experience. The servers are always very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The food is absolutely amazing. You can definitely taste the freshness and the quality of the ingredients, the kitchen staff must definitely be passionate about what they create. We recently went for an anniversary dinner, and it was just as amazing as always. Highly recommend if you’re in Milwaukee!
