In general, a very nice place to call home. Mari has been especially helpful. I do a cooking show most Saturday mornings in our Community Room. Mari works Saturdays and is always accessible if I Need anything. My wife and I love living at the Domus.

They kept in touch to alert me when a port-side unit became available. Any questions or concerns I have they respond quickly and warmly.The whole building is a very inviting space. It is almost as if I live in a beautiful hotel. The "clubhouse" is stunning. The walkway on the river is always sprinkled with greenery or flowers. The hallways are beautifully lit and extremely clean. Even the garage is spotless!All the residents here are so kind and most take the time to say hello and chat.My apartment is absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen is a dream. Warm cabinetry, granite countertops, huge island with room for chairs, and my favorite, the built-in shelving made from reclaimed wood. The appliances are top of the line. Double door fridge. Dishwasher. Tons of storage.The living space is small, yet cozy. There is a large window that allows beautiful light to filter in all day. The floors are a gorgeous, dark wood laminate.The bathroom is HUGE. There is a large floating vanity and walk-in shower as well as a beautiful built-in cabinet with shelving for storage.The bedroom is a perfect size for my queen mattress and furniture, but would also easily fit a king. My favorite part of the bedroom though is the walk-in closet. It's a dream.There is tons of additional storage in my 1 bedroom apartment. A huge, double coat closet in the entryway. Across the hall, the laundry room is almost like a mini storage unit. There is a stacked washer/dryer with ample room for shelving or hiding odd boxes or packages.Overall, the interior design of my apartment is just incredible. I come home from a long day of work, open my front door and smile. I feel so blessed to live here. All fixtures are beautifully chosen, the materials are warm and inviting and the overall living space is just ideal.Living on the river is also amazing. The view makes me smile everytime I look out my windows. It is very peaceful to see the water sparkling right outside while living in my space. I have a very large balcony where I plan on lounging on summer evenings with a glass of wine while watching the boats drift by.If you are looking for a beautiful, comforting, safe home in the Third Ward, DoMus is the place to be!

Location is perfect too, just a walk, bike ride, or quick drive away to everything Milwaukee has to offer!

John Lin: Moved to Milwaukee from Madison last year, the Yards was exactly what I was looking for in urban living. In a fun, but quiet enough neighborhood that is Walkers Point. The apartment building is new, and the amenities are plentiful. Management is responsive, as both Emily and Bevan are helpful. Not sure what the parking complaints in previous reviews were about- but I was offered both garage spots or uncovered spots. Both for a monthly fee, but that's to be expected. Great place to live in!

Bill Feerick: I lived at Yankee Hill for ten years, from 2000 to 2010. In 2010, I purchased a beautiful home in Shorewood. Yet, although there have been many things I appreciated and truly enjoyed once again in having my own home, with a private yard, grill, and numerous gardens, I plan on selling my residence at the end of the approaching Summer and moving back to Yankee Hill. At the age of 65, I have had countless life experiences. Still, I can say, without hesitation, that the ten years I lived at Yankee Hill have been thus far the best years I have had in my life. With that said, it shouldn't be a surprise that I am greatly looking forward to returning to apartment living and the diversity that comes from living in the city. In closing, I feel this review wouldn't be complete if I didn't add that in my various life experiences the Yankee Hill Staff are some of the most genuine and caring people you'll ever find when it comes to apartment living.

I would definitely live here again if I was in the area.As far as cons, I would say it sucked they had the lake view blocked with the new building next door and still raised the rent prices during renewal. I also didn’t like that the dining area had carpeting and was a bit strange. Lastly, the laundry was communal downstairs and some of the machines would get dirty from tenants or it took a few weeks to have broken machines fixed/replaced. But there are a handful of machines down there to get by. However, despite these cons there were many perks to living here.

Zach: Lived here at a townhouse for a year and really enjoyed it! Unit was clean and ready to use upon arrival, packages were kept in a secure place until pick-up, and no appliances broke in my unit during my stay. The staff were always very accommodating when it came to parking for guests or issues with keys/access fobs. Finally, moving out was a breeze and no issues came up after turning the townhouse back over to Yankee Hill.If work brought me back downtown again I would have no problem returning.

Chris Cartes: Loved living here. The building is well constructed to the point where inside your apartment you wouldn't even realize you were in a building with other people. The walls are nearly soundproof. The only time I'd ever hear neighbors is if they were walking in the hall.The amenities are nice although I wish I had taken advantage of them more often! The staff is extremely nice, and the one time I requested maintenance it didn't even take 24 hours. It's also extremely clean, no bug issues whatsoever. If I didn't plan on getting a dog I would still be there.If you're considering moving to the downtown area I'd highly recommend Yankee Hill!

The management group was super friendly and was willing and able to help with any questions I had. The maintenance group was also very responsive and would help with maintenance issues the day I put in the request.The common rooms were always clean, and the garages were clean and well lit. The cost for underground parking downtown was very affordable and the parking spaces were spacious. The buildings are old, but kept up very well. I lived in the north building which had stainless steel appliances, which made the apartment feel nicer, in my opinion. The rooms were spacious and I never felt cramped in the apartment. Not to mention, the sunset views I had were beautiful!As for the location, it is right downtown and close to everything. The buildings were right next to the Hop which made going to the Third Ward even easier. It was very easy to go to the grocery store and carry back the groceries I picked up for the week.I would recommend these buildings to friends and family.

It’s across the street from AJ O’Brady’s and walking distance to Costco and many restaurants.

While there have been some challenges with homeless individuals and car break-ins, these are unfortunately common occurrences in urban settings. In just two months, he has shown a commitment to addressing these issues and improving the overall safety and security of the complex. The management team here has always been polite and as helpful as possible.Overall, I am very pleased with my decision to live here and would recommend it to others. With Dominic at the helm, I am confident that any remaining concerns will be effectively addressed. Allan Montezon: We've lived here since 2016. We love the location - high "walkability" score - restaurants, theaters, library, Boswell's bookstore, bike path, lakefront. Recently had our apt painted, two tone colors look great and new carpet - thank you Antonio for arranging that. Your contractors were real pros - full repaint in a day and carpet in a few hours. Thanks MaryLynn for showing color choices. The concierge staff is always friendly, knows our names & apt# - Linda, Donald, and a younger woman whose name I am still learning to spell. An obervation - the parking garage - bins appear neater and the path seems to be swept on a regular basis. Intessar - thanks to you and the wonderful staff. We love it here.

They're the best around, and they're always talking to residents, getting to know them, and make sure to give you a compliment before you part ways.5 stars, 10/10, and whatever else perfect ratings I could give.

When we first came here last year, we were interested in a certain floor plan. Talking with the building manager Intessar, she showed us a unit that we hadn't even considered and I'm glad she did because that is the one we went with. All the staff from Kent and Mary Lynn who have an open door policy in the office to Antonio and his awesome maintenance team to Linda and the whole Concierge team are extremely professional, friendly and excel in customer satisfaction.The views are phenomenal and everything from grocery to restaurants to bars are all walking distance away and there are so many choices. We love this place so much, we just signed another 15 month lease and definitely recommend it.

This is a great location with plenty to do in the area including a nice hike at Hawthorn Glen 5 minutes away, and so close to downtown Tosa and Milwaukee. Kit Y: My husband and I lived at the Reserve at Wauwatosa Village for seven years until we recently moved out of state. We absolutely enjoyed our time at the Reserve. The office and maintenance staff were incredibly helpful, responsive, and kind. They work hard to make sure the property is looking good and working well. The apartments are well laid out with ample space and good design. The community is filled with lovely neighbors and there are occasional social events that are available to all - food trucks, holiday parties, etc. There are quite a few dogs, ours included, but there were never issues with noise or aggressive pooches. Truly we loved living here and would still be if life had taken a different direction. You won't go wrong with these apartments and this location - the Tosa village is right down the street, there is a grocery store in walking distance and a cross fit across the street. Great location, great people, great management, great maintenance staff, great neighbors - it's a win, trust me.

Shea Fisher: I have had a great experience living at Jefferson Block the past 4 years and just re-signed to stay longer. It's a prime location in a great part of Milwaukee. There are amenities all around me and I have an awesome view of Lake Michigan and even the fireworks that happen frequently in downtown Milwaukee. It's fun to be close to Summerfest and all of the lakefront fests in the summer, I go to a lot of shows. I'm close to the river walk, Lake Park/Bradford Beach and am a quick hop from the expressway to hit all corners of the Milwaukee area in, for the most part, 15 minutes or less. I'm walking distance to a wide range of high quality bars, restaurants, shops, the public market, and more. The team running J-block today are fabulous. Brad, Danny and Megan in the leasing office have treated me extremely well. Derrick handles the occasional maintenance requests I have virtually immediately after I submit them. They continual work to improve the overall amenities of the building and grounds, there have been a number of upgrades over the past year alone. I'm very happy living here, I think it's a great spot.

Sydney Cavanaugh: My boyfriend and I lived at Boston Lofts for a little over 3 years. Prior to Mandel group selling the apartments I would rate it 5 stars. Don’t get me wrong, there were hiccups such as maintenance problems and the occasional testing of the fire alarms, but overall things were handled well, communicated efficiently and the place was consistently kept very clean. Unfortunately, when Red Tail took over last summer things changed a bit and I would give our stay over the last year a 3/5. The electric bill significantly went up for residents, luckily we were grandfathered in, but I’m talking from about 10-15 dollars/month to hundreds. They also took a long time to figure out how to keep the common areas clean, I would say when we moved out they were about 90% to what they used to be, but again still hadn’t reach the cleanliness we were used to. Lastly, communication was significantly more difficult with the leasing office this last year as emails took a bit to get back to and the leasing office is open a lot less due to staffing issues. Hopefully, as they have been in charge for well over a year now things continue to improve. Overall, we adored the location of the apartment, our actually unit which was 1 bed 1.5 bath lofted style with huge windows that we could watch the sunset in every day, as well as the common area rooftop.

Tammy Jackson: We moved to Milwaukee from St. Louis and was placed in the guest suite temporarily as part of my employment contract. We liked Mosaic so much we decided to stay and moved 3 floors up. We love living here-the building, the area-so many things in walking distance. Management and maintenance are friendly and responsive. We couldn’t be happier with our choice.

Abby English: Hands down the best place I've ever lived. The building is gorgeous and well-maintained, as well as quiet. The price-point for what you get is unmatched by any other building in the city. Matthew and the property management team are respectful, friendly and responsive to any questions or concerns. I wouldn't live anywhere else in Milwaukee.

Kayla Schaffer: We moved into the Mosaic in March of 2019 and have enjoyed every moment. We visited many different apartments before choosing Mosaic with how beautiful the building and apartments were.Joe and Matthew have been extremely helpful with everything we ever needed over the past two+ years.They have continued to update the community spaces including the dog run that's in the back of the building.

John O'Neill: Spacious modern apartments with balconies and high ceilings. The building is centrally located in Shorewood and convenient to a number of local businesses and the green line. East facing apartments get abundant sun - a nice feature in a cold weather city like Milwaukee.

Frances Salud: We moved back to Wisconsin after 17 years and decided to stay around Shorewood to be close to our family. We decided to stay at Mosaic because of its great proximity to the supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants, schools, OTF, etc. The unit itself is modern and very comfortable. They have nice appliances as well. Matt, the property manager, is very professional. He is very helpful and always making himself available when needed. He made our moving in and out of the property easy. Joe made sure that everything works well in and outside the unit/building. We are sad to leave because my husband got a job in another state. But given another chance to comeback to Shorewood, we definitely know where we will stay again. Thank you to the staff of Mosaic Condominiums for making our home comfortable and safe. Rana Higgins: My husband and I have lived at the Mosaic for the past 3 years. The location is absolutely fantastic! We are within walking distance to almost anything we need, but yet also have the balance of the surrounding residential area for quiet walks. The building itself is wonderful. The management is always responsive and helpful, and they go above and beyond to communicate with the residents. The quality of the apartment itself is fantastic, with everything updated and in great condition. We have absolutely loved living here and highly recommend it to anyone!!!

Patrick Uding: We were one of the original renters at this super prime location. Our experience has been very satisfying. Friendly apartment community, events, and responsive management who strive to please. Strongest positives are walk ability to anything you might crave and very low utility bills. Where else would you want to be in Shorewood!?

Blair McLaughlin: After living at Mosaic for a year, I can confidently say it is my favorite property in Milwaukee. It's only a short drive from downtown, yet the neighborhood is very quiet. The residents are nice, the property manager is timely and easy to work with, and the maintenance quality is superb. I can't imagine going back to street parking in the winter after utilizing Mosaic's heated garages, which are wonderful. My dog and I have been very happy here.

Nina Sandhu: I’ve lived at the Mosaic for two years and I’ve enjoyed it completely. Amazing floor plans, a great set of neighbours. And my favourite people on Management, Jeff and Matt, always friendly and always conscientious about addressing maintenance requests. Dee Mcarthy: I lived in the Mosiac for over two years. It's a lovely complex with great management. Parking was ideal. Their location is convenient and especially practical in the winter! I could easily go from my apartment to the grocery store, Metro Mart, without even experiencing the inclement weather. There's a nice breakfast and lunch restaurant downstairs, Blue Egg, as well as the legendary deli, Benji's across the street. Also, downstairs are a gym, eye doctor and pizza parlor. It is on the main drive through Shorewood with drug store, banks, bars, restaurants and shops in easy walking distance. Despite this, it is very quiet and the neighbors are very considerate of each other. My first apartment there had a great fireplace that I thoroughly enjoyed. I moved to a larger townhouse apartment the next year with a huge deck and incredible views of the city at night. The bathrooms and closets were large and roomy. The kitchen had the latest appliances and a great wine refrigerator. As property manager, Matt, is solicitous and accommodating. I appreciate the great job he did. I loved living there and miss it daily.

PDP By Stoll: I have lived at Mosaic since the building opened in 2017. What I love most about the building it the walk-ability, the high-end finishes, and the dog run located right behind the building. The dog run has been a perfect for training, raising, and socializing my puppy with the other great pups in the building. My neighbors and others throughout the building are such friendly and genuine people. Living at Mosaic, you feel a sense of family and community that is hard to find anywhere else.

Abby Taubner: Perfect sized apartment with high-end finishes and great western views. Being able to do everything online for payments and lease signatures is very convenient.

Elizabeth Browning: Mosaic on Oakland has far exceeded our expectations! We have lived in single family housing for 30 years and were not sure we would adjust well to apartment living. Boy were we wrong! We have loved it since our first night here!The building itself is stunning. We get so much natural light from the oversized windows and the finishes are current and beautiful. The facilities are remarkable! There is a beautifully furnished 2 bedroom 2 bath guest suite for visitors, a workout room, heated secured parking, a beautiful common gathering room, trash and recycle shoots on each floor, a large area for packages that is not visible from the entry or foyer area and a green space behind the building for pets.The management and maintenance team is outstanding. Every request has been addressed in a timely manner with competent and friendly care. Each time we have asked a question or shared a concern, Matthew has creatively and quickly solved the issue.The location of the building is nothing short of ideal. We have everything in walking distance. No more planning a trip to the grocery store and meal planning days in advance - we just walk over and pick up what we need, many times multiple times per day. And if we don't want to cook, the restaurant options are fantastic right in the building with many more restaurants a short walk away.We couldn't be happier and are so pleased with living at the Mosaic!

Cory Chappell: Such a cool apartment complex. Absolutely love the location. So much easier to find parking than downtown. The nearby restaurants and bars are some of my favorite in the city. Let's not forget about one of the nicest and largest grocery stores right down the street. The building is always in top-notch shape and super clean. I always feel so welcomed when entering the building. The staff is extremely nice! Highly recommend The Mosaic.

Anne Holtackers: I recently had a bad experience at a well known hotel chain. I needed to be at this hotel chain for an extended period of time due to my husband's medical needs in the area. Very fortunately, I was able to get much help from a Mayfair Reserve in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. I explained my dilemma and immediately the staff provided me with a 4 month lease and a very quick move in date which helped me greatly. The apartment is very nice and comfortable. I sincerely want to thank Tera, Katrina, Jackson, Scott, and John for their warm welcome, excellent service and continued assistance answering questions. I would highly recommend your stay at Mayfair Reserve at 11011 W. North Ave. in Wauwatosa, WI.

Philip Hurst: are all up to date. My unit had a an enormous walk-in closet that was practically a room itself.•Amenities: There is a machine that dispenses coffee/hot chocolate/hot water for tea. Also, there is a secure locker system for packages.Cons:•Be very wary of the location of your unit! Mine overlooked the pool courtyard, which might initially seem nice, but I can assure you it is not. I felt like I was living next to a frat party 12 hours a day every weekend. I am a recent college graduate, and living at Mayfair Reserve was noisier than anything I experienced in college dorms. If your idea of a “luxury apartment” doesn’t involve hearing the consistent thud of cornhole bags, blaring bluetooth speakers, and the yelps of drunk people, then be sure to get a unit away from the pool!•Because of the pool rowdiness, I never felt particularly welcome to use the pool or invite my friends, which is a shame because it’s such a nice feature. Also, the noise often made it impractical to use my balcony. The pool and balcony were amenities that I was paying for in my rent, but I could not use due to the atmosphere. The pool supposedly closed at 10PM, but this is unenforced/unenforceable, so the noise often stretched on later than that. I like to have fun, too, but this was over the top.•Upon move-out, management deducted from my security deposit for a trivial “damage” that was present upon move-in. I appealed this with the property manager, Tera, who told me she would check with the management company and get back to me, but I never heard from her again. Management will presumably try to rationalize this in a response to my review, but I am resolute that I was unjustifiably charged. Be sure to document even the most petty “damages” when you move in so you’re not liable!
