Philip Gissen: We bought a 16 pound brisket at Bunzel’s to cook and serve at our Passover seder. After braising in our special gravy for 48 hours, twelve of us sat down and dined on the most tender brisket I ever tasted. Despite the new trendy, social media driven butchers in town, Bunzel’s is still the best.I should say, the 12 of us weren’t braised. I was referring to the brisket.

The deli food is top notch and the Friday fish fry is reasonably priced with generous portions. For those who don't like to cook or need food for parties, get togethers or the holidays they have an extensive catering menu! Complete Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter dinners can be preordered and accommodate both small and large gatherings. It's worthwhile to sign up for the weekly email specials that are offered every Wednesday and Thursday! They have over 35 different sausages made by their staff to choose from, including the State Champion Honey Mustard brat! It's easy to see why Bunzel's consistently is awarded honors for superior products and service! My number one place to go for top notch meat and customer service!
James Dean: Absolutely excellent fresh meat market. They have a wide variety of frozen products that generally aren’t available other places. They also have sausages, a very small selection of vegetables if you’ve forgotten something from the grocery store, a few isles of regular food-stuff, and a prepared food counter. They will bend over backwards to make you happy. That being said, their prices are very high; you are paying for a premium food experience.

Amanda Ramirez: My daughter had just got out of the hospital and she was finally able to eat and all she wanted was rodizios. So my daughter, my boyfriend and I went and it was great. The food is excellent the service is excellent and I recommend this place to anyone. I have already recommended it to a few ofy family members that have went and they did not disappoint. Ceviche was marinated so well, amazing with the fresh tortilla chips. Our entrees was the Camarones Antigua and Cochinita Pibil. I have tried a lot of Cochinita, and this was by far the best. I just wish there was more tortillas with it. The camarone antigua was fantastic as well, the chipotle sauce really pieced the entire dish together wonderfully. The black gold margarita is a must. The place is clean and looks pretty inside, atmosphere gives off the vibe of being at a tias house, very homey.

Grecia Hernandez: My family and I were there earlier this week, and we were impressed by the recent renovations. We started our lunch by ordering the sampler appetizer and tostone rellenos. Both my husband and I enjoyed their margaritas, especially the passionfruit one. The spicy chicken empanadas were great. For our mains, we ordered steaks, which were a bit chewy, but the rice made up for it! My only suggestion, especially in summer, would be to have a kids' menu.

The servings are HUGE, and I've never had a meal I didn't like.Things to know that to me add so much charm:-The menu changes every day, no, you can't see it ahead of time.-It's tiny, cozy, and intimate.-If you want to be seated right when they open, you'll have to join the line outside which usually forms 30-45 minutes before opening. Patatas bravas perfectly seasoned, the chorizo add-on is a MUST. Shakshuka could have more bread served with it-- there's not enough to really use it to eat the amount of tomato/pepper mixture that you get. The hostess/serving staff didn't seem to be fully attentive, but they weren't impolite and the dish that wasn't brought out didn't appear on the bill so it seemed she just missed the order altogether.
