Amanda Ramirez: My daughter had just got out of the hospital and she was finally able to eat and all she wanted was rodizios. So my daughter, my boyfriend and I went and it was great. The food is excellent the service is excellent and I recommend this place to anyone. I have already recommended it to a few ofy family members that have went and they did not disappoint. Thank you for being an above average restaurant in the Milwaukee area. Will definitely be going again. Our waitress was I believe her name was Liliana, and she was on point the whole dinner.

Brady Donahue: High end steakhouse that doesn't disappoint. Brooke was knowledgeable and attentive. Started with the seafood tower for 5 of us, plenty of seafood for a starter. Rib cab steaks and filet for the table all were excellent.Beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
Victoria Ruetten: What a phenomenal experience my husband and I had at this gorgeous establishment! Top notch all the way. We had excellent service, were greeted at our table and visited with both the manager DeVante and assistant Kyle along with other staff that assisted with water, etc. Brooke was our waitress, our servers were Eric and Michael; all three could not have been more attentive to our needs, while respecting our privacy. We met Chef Todd and his kitchen crew after the meal to thank them for the wonderful meal. Our food choices did not disappoint, all were cooked to our request and done superbly. I highly recommend Rare Steakhouse Milwaukee!
Erin Gross: , broccolini, and lobster mac. The lobster mac had a generous amount of lobster so I was very happy. For dinner we split their crème brûlée special, which was s'more flavored. Yum! We each also got some espresso because all of that eating had us exhausted.Alex and Devante stopped by the table periodically to chat. We had such a great time making small talk and learning about the establishment. After dinner we explore their library which is full of vintage books. It's hard to choose a highlight to our trip because everything was perfection. We haven't stopped talking about our visit and are recommending everyone try out this top tier steakhouse!!

I ordered the boneless ribeye, it was a little bit tough, the others in my group ordered the tenderloin and said it was very good. The creamed corn and baked onion soup were delicious, the baked potatoes were huge! Loved the relish tray and bread loaf. The wine and lemon drop martini were good. Desserts looked and sounded delicious, too full, maybe next time.😋

Carmen Garcia Sirera: Amilinda delivers authenticity. There are many restaurants out there claiming culinary uniqueness, but at the end they fall short. Amilinda brings the flavors of Spain and Portugal without creating copycat versions of traditional Iberian Peninsula dishes. All the dishes arw prepared and made to deliver an experience. And thar experience does not end with the amazing dishes. Patricia Gabarra: Delicious as always! I dined in with some friends on Feb 7, 2024. It had been a while, as a don’t live in Milwaukee. Everyone loved their appetizers and enthusiastically shared them - Spanish style. I selected the braised endives and their were delicious and a very light and clever preparation. As much as I love tasty veggies I also like meat. So it was a familiar and comforting choice for me: the pork carcamusa. The serving was generous as usual and the good thing about this dish is that it is just as good if not better as a leftover - YUM. The bartender proposed his Spanish twist on a Mai Tai and it was delicious. Service was friendly and casual and the dining atmosphere can’t be beat if you are looking for charm with a genuine flair of a Mediterranean restaurant. It reminds me of home, Spain, every time. Susan Phillips: Wonderful dinner with an exceptional waitress. She helped with suggestions and told us about Cuba. Had the plaintain platter- delicious with guacamole and another sauce, a plaintain cruster salmon with a mango sauce on veggies with yellow rice, an empanada with raisins and olives and the ribs. The mojitos were tasty and on sale. As a lactose intolerant person- I can eat butter, it was wonderful to have so many options! And I was able to eat their dessert! So grateful.

Siena: Had a lovely time there on New Year’s Eve. Dinner was delicious! Black truffle ravioli was great. Veal soup wasn’t what we expected but it was okay. Scallops is so far the best of all the restaurants I’ve been to! The filet mignon was overcooked when I cut it open but they quickly had it remade and It was cooked perfectly the second time. We loved both dessert, thought chocolate would be really heavy and dense but it melted in your mouth right away and the flavor and sweetness were just perfect for us. Overall it was a great experience. We stayed for the party and really enjoyed our time there. Will be going back to try their regular menu for sure!

Jcg Gee: Went here for the first time yesterday for a family members birthday. Not the best atmosphere at all. The place is kind of dark and the decor is really dated. But the service was great. Ceviche was marinated so well, amazing with the fresh tortilla chips. Our entrees was the Camarones Antigua and Cochinita Pibil. I have tried a lot of Cochinita, and this was by far the best. I just wish there was more tortillas with it. The camarone antigua was fantastic as well, the chipotle sauce really pieced the entire dish together wonderfully. The black gold margarita is a must. The place is clean and looks pretty inside, atmosphere gives off the vibe of being at a tias house, very homey.

Joseph Henderson: Capital Grill is always one of my favorites. I love the service but for some reason I have been a little disappointed in their food. This round had lobster bisque and salmon with couscous. The lobster bisque was amazing. The salmon and couscous lacked flavor and salt. Justin Thomaas: Tonight we had our first experience at Cavas, and it was absolutely incredible. Ana and her husband did an excellent job of making us feel welcome and comfortable in their restaurant. The drinks, food, and service were some of the best we’ve experienced in Milwaukee since moving here in 2020. Ana made a point to come to the table multiple times to explain what was being served as part of the prix fixe menu. The menu selection was truly wonderful. We also added on the wine pairing which was excellent.We will definitely be back!
Pat Locante: What an amazing find this quaint restaurant was for me and my husband. We were looking for a new place downtown and Cavas appeared in my search. We have taken family and friends there several times and recently held a private event there. Everyone we have introduced to this hidden Milwaukee gem has enjoyed their visit! Ana never disappoints! Her culinary skills are fantastic and we have sampled most all of what is offered on the menu. Some of our absolute favorites are the Pimiento, stuffed dates, empanadas, paella and all of the desserts. I could seriously list all of the offerings on the menu as there is nothing we haven't enjoyed. My only caution is if you don't want to be disappointed ... Make a Reservation! I wouldn't want anyone to set their sights on a fabulous dinner at Cavas and it be too busy to get in.

Let me tell you, that was one of the best arroz con gandules I've ever had and everyone in the party loved it! The owner is super nice, excellent with communication, and responds quickly to my calls or messages. When I come down from Chicago and have another event, I'll definitely be calling Lareños for more delicious platters.Thank you!

Scott Swosinski: We attended the La Merenda pop up Easter brunch at the event space at the old Engine company no.3. The food is always superb. The venue is stunning inside. The service is tops. The menu had breakfast as well as lunch tapas to share. Look for more of these popup kitchen events.
Daniel Smith: The elegant and pristine palace the is the Engine Company Number three is poetic in the way of food. The atmosphere is a certain je ne sais quoi if a may be so bold. Hmmm. Which I may!! If you have yet to go treat yourself, just tell them Dan sent you. It will do nothing for you but it sounds cool to act like you know someone working there.

Amy: I was expecting smaller portions when I heard their brunch described as a tapas situation-- but really, everything was very well portioned. The hot chocolate isn't super sweet, so if that's something that will break your heart do not order it.All dishes were superb, perfectly seasoned and apportioned. Patatas bravas perfectly seasoned, the chorizo add-on is a MUST. Shakshuka could have more bread served with it-- there's not enough to really use it to eat the amount of tomato/pepper mixture that you get. The hostess/serving staff didn't seem to be fully attentive, but they weren't impolite and the dish that wasn't brought out didn't appear on the bill so it seemed she just missed the order altogether.

1StopMom: Iron Grate is one of my favorite restaurants to go to for BBQ. I used to love their hot links, but they changed the recipe about a year ago. They do not taste the same.My go to order is usually the pork belly burnt ends, grits and greens. My husband likes the rib tips and the mac and cheese. We are not a fan of their baked beans though. They are a little bitter to me.The combo is really great way to taste a few items from the menu.The housemade drinks are very good. Four cocktails for $40 is a deal. The Pitmaster Punch is my favorite!Update: The drinks are no longer available, issues with plastic jugs.

Gavin Lee: I really enjoyed the service and food! Unfortunately the ‘ automatic 18% service charge’ goes to the restaurant and not the waitress I had. I understand owning a local restaurant is not easy but this did make my bill higher than it needed to be since I am still leaving an additional tip for my waitress. Again, food and service was awesome though!
