Zac T: and it’s my first stop when deck building due to low prices on singles and of course no pesky online shipping costs.Lastly, they host some super rad events, some free, some with an entry fee that usually guarantees some wicked sweet stuff along with it anyway.It’s a great store in a great location, they even sell snacks and drinks!
Sierra Larson: Good store and nice people but overpriced for sure. They had a shining fates ETB for $90. I can get it for $54-$59 at miejer. That blew my mind. They have cool stuff but it’s for sure over priced on some things.

Andy Rohde: , and I love how they have a computer I can use to order cards. I put in what I need if I can't find them, the staff then goes and assembles all the cards and tells me when they're all ready to go, if they don't have them in store they order them for me and let me know when it's arrived, not only that the staffs been helpful for me learning the new parts of yugioh. There are only two minor things worth mentioning, 1 is that it's quiet there. I mean REALLY quiet. Due to my schedule I typically go during times where there's not alot if anyone around. So when I go in, I feel like I need to whisper, and sometimes it makes me uncomfortable. I'm sure it's more lively later in the day, but unfortunately I'm not able to see that right now. The other thing for me atleast is not really easy to control. I just wish they were closer. Pink bunny games is about 20-30 mins from me depending on traffic, so because of this I can't go as often as I'd like to. Maybe that's a good thing because I feel like if it was alot closer I'd spend too much time there. Overall if you are looking for a place for yugioh cards this is the place to go.

Reina G: Alright y'all! You HAVE to check this place out! I just bought a PS3 from this location and also hitman absolution. The prices were very reasonable and affordable. Everything works perfect!! I seen many games for great prices and the two guys working when I went there were very cool and gave me a lot of information I asked about! It's a great affordable place! Only thing that is a con is there is no cash refund policy. BUT whatever you spend keep the reciept and they will give you store credit of whatever you bought! Other then that make the drive and check it out! Very happy customer

Elle Armstrong-Cochrane: is passionate about some of the nerdiest stuff possible, and if they can’t help you with something, they’ll figure out who can, even if it’s another store. Play spaces are clean and well-lit, and it’s a fairly diverse crowd that comes in.The big draw here is the community and play spaces - people are friendly, there’s usually someone painting or doing hobby stuff, and they try to host regular game nights for some of their bigger games, along with a hobby night. They also are awesome about trying to connect people for games - I’ve played everything from Battlefleet Gothic to SPQR there, and people have been interested in new games if someone is demoing them. I’ve also never felt uncomfortable there - it can be really hard to find gaming and nerd spaces that are female, queer, or trans-friendly, but they’re fantastic about fostering a fun, open, and safe environment.Their Facebook and Discord communities are good for scheduling, and they tend to run several organized play leagues during a given year, with a mix of store-run and patron-run options. People also seem to like trying new games. Parking is still pretty bad, but on-street parking and being willing to move if you need to can really help mitigate it.
Erik Stonecipher: Fantastic little shop. Great selection for MTG, Warhammer, and much more. Been frequenting recently and every employee I've met has been not only friendly but fantastic to chat with. As multiple have said, the store is a passion product and it shows. Full recommend.{Only thing to watch out for is the parking lot is small and the employees may ask you to move your car, as the neighboring stores guard their spots fiercely. Street parking may be required.}

King Washington: I genuinely enjoy my time at citadel games. I would say citadel games is more of a Magic the Gathering shop than anything else. They do have Yu-Gi-Oh and Lorcana and some Pokémon TCG cards. But their main focus is Magic the Gathering.This owner Michael is extremely nice and helpful. I've been going to the shop for over a month now and he has been extremely genuine with me.The only other employee name is Jason. Jason was a former magic judge. He knows every possible rule that the game has. He's extremely helpful when it comes to deck building.If Magic the Gathering is your main focus Citadel Games is the best place to go.

Gift cards to Ruckus & Glee are also a hit in our family- kids are empowered to buy their own items from a manageable quantity of options. Owners are very nice, staff is very helpful. Can you get some of it cheaper on Amazon? Sure, but it is extremely rewarding to shop local and keep your money in the Wauwatosa community.

Stephanie Leffelman: BattleBox is a great addition to the gaming community in Milwaukee. It’s a unique shop for all nerds and “blerds” alike. If you’re looking for anything video game related, old or new, definitely give Battle a call! His shop is clean, organized and filled with a great collection of games and even figurines. If you’re looking for something in particular, give him a call and he will have it ready to go when you arrive. Also, be sure to call when you arrive at shop so he can let you in since it’s a pre-arranged transaction. The Battle Lounge next door is also a great and safe place to come and have some drinks, dance, make friends and have fun! Battle is a great guy, and cares a lot about the community. Definitely an alternative to GameStop and a great way to support a local business!
Alan Calvin: Definitely a staple in the “Blerd” community. I always find rare games, collectibles, and figurines at The Battlebox. He has such a wide variety of products it’s a hidden gem in Milwaukee for sure. The Battle Lounge attached to the shop always hosts amazing events ranging from karaoke, anime nights with special ramen, to cosplay, as well as tournaments to compete for fun, prizes and glory. The Battle Lounge also serves a whole menu of video game themed specialty drinks! I met a lot of good friends who were into the same interests I have, which is rare to find in an urban setting. Place is truly one-of-a-kind, and I highly recommend checking it out, or following their page on Facebook for upcoming events. Just be sure to call first before stopping by the shop so he can personally have your items you’re looking for set aside and ready to go while you browse for anything else.

Drew Demeny: Not a traditional game store, but not in a bad way. As others say, items are not priced and you need to call to be let in, but neither of these things were issues for me. I asked for a copy of Pokemon Black, and Battle gave me a reasonable price. I also walked out with a Pikachu GBA SP. Battle has an incredible collection and runs the store solo, so I totally get his policies. He was incredibly friendly to me when we chatted about games, life, and running a business. I will definitely be back!He also does an awesome reward program for students. Each time students bring in a report card, they receive a $5 off token. If they can save up four tokens, the $20 value doubles to $40. As a teacher, I think this is an awesome thing to do to academically support students. Battle even gave me a $5 off coupon for teaching the youth. The store was clean, well organized, and overall an awesome experience. As long as you’re respectful and understand what you’re going into, I definitely recommend Battlebox!

I followed up with some questions about my small business and some PS5 issues we were having and the manager I’m assuming and the associate, even though they didn’t really have to tell me anything, took the time out of their day to walk me through pretty extensive knowledge of the issue I was having which greatly helped me.
