I was overly sensitive about it because I also have a family history of thinning hair. I had a positive experience with a doctor who has since retired. So this time I went to Dr Kinney. I had such a positive experience that despite the somewhat embarrassing topic, I felt compelled to give a very public review, my first Google review ever. While I obviously can’t really see his work on top of my head, my husband insists it’s the best of the 3 surgeons by far. And not only did he preserve my hair follicles but he did it with minimal temporary hair removal.He is also extremely gentle & kind. And he very promptly returned a Sunday evening call when I stupidly bumped my head before my stitches were removed causing an incision to bleed. Thank you Dr Kinney! You’re the best.

Megan Brown: I cannot state enough how much I truly love Dr. Kinney! He is the most compassionate and caring human being and an amazingly talented surgeon. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in April of this year, and I opted to do the DIEP flap reconstruction after my double mastectomy. From the first time I met Dr. Kinney at my initial consultation to discuss the reconstruction options, I was so thankful that I had been referred to him. I could not have been in better hands! He went through the options with me in detail and answered all of my questions. The surgery went so well. When I was in the hospital recovering, Dr. Kinney came to see me every day and some days even came twice. I literally woke up the one morning and he was there by my hospital bed holding my hand. I want to cry happy tears just thinking about how genuinely he cared about me and how I was doing after the surgery. His tremendous compassion really helped me stay positive and smiling through the roughest parts of the recovery. I am 5 weeks out from my surgery date as of today and I am already so impressed and so happy with the results! I know I made the right choice for me with the DIEP flap reconstruction. Every time I have come in for a post-surgery checkup, I look forward to seeing Dr. Kinney because he is just the best person and surgeon ever. I love him so much! She really listened to what I wanted and would ask questions and confirm details of what i was telling her. I had a pre- surgical consultation with her as well to finalize details and discuss the surgery and recovery. I had completely changed my mind what I wanted, i originally wanted very large implants, but after contemplation i realized i just wanted to be my pre-baby size. She was very patient with me, again took her time to resize me and get an idea of what i wanted.I was suppose to be at the hospital on surgery day at 5 am, but my childcare fell through. I called Dr. McCall to see if i could make the time a little later, and she was very accommodating within minutes she got back to me with a later time that worked out well. Day of surgery, the nurses were so unbelievably nice and friendly, they made me feel so comfortable, i thought i was at a spa. All of a sudden, i started getting racing thoughts of everything that could go wrong during surgery or recovery, and i had a panic attack, which i really never had before. Dr. McCall and her nurses were so kind, calming and patient. She pulled up a chair next to me and had me do relaxation techniques , which really helped! Even though my panic put the surgery an hour behind schedule, she did not rush me, but was very compassionate. She went through all my concerns with me and made me feel so much better. Getting the IV and the anesthetic was very smooth. I woke up and was not in much pain at all!! She even made it a point to ask me if I wanted her to call my husband to let him know how it went.I absolutely LOVE the results, they are exactly what I wanted and I couldn't be happier with the size, shape, and overall look! Dr. Tracy McCall is compassionate and thorough, she has an awesome personality, and is an excellent plastic surgeon! I highly recommend her for any plastic surgery as I know she is very detail oriented and does great work!
