Nicholas Susedik: Best record store in town in my opinion. They have a large selection, their hip hop selection is best I’ve seen. Staff is great. Really cool people who are also the owners. I recommend stopping there and checking it out.
Josh Flint: Always a lovely time going to Lilliput! Most of my records I've gotten at shops have been from Lilliput. I really enjoy its warm and moody interior, it helps make browsing far more enjoyable. The selection is also great for my tastes, and they seem to restock fairly frequently. Mike Macauley: Great store. One of the very best I have been to. Great Jazz selection. So much rock you can hardly get through it. All used albums are cleaned and at least VG and above. Used CD’s are clean and typically in new cases. I have never got anything close to bad. They also carry new records and cd’s, as well as equipment and I think some clothing. The manager is super nice. She has been there many years and knows her stuff. All the employees are helpful as well!Thanks Record Head

Jason K 19XX: I thought I had been to all the record stores in the Milwaukee area, but I don't know how I missed this one. I guess it doesn't come up at the top of Google results, but glad I finally found it.I went in and found more in five minutes here than I did in 45 minutes at one of the city's renowned stores. Fair prices on what I looked at, and an absolute steal on a UK press of U2's "Achtung Baby" LP. I walked out with four records, and if I had more time and money that day I would have bought more. There are some new, sealed records in the store as well, but just tucked in with all the others.My only complaint is that the store is packed so full, it can be hard to look through the inventory. I had to squeeze pretty tight into an aisle to look through the LPs stacked vertically on a wall, and mostly had to see what they were by reading the spines. Small quibble, though, if you've got time to dig.

The place is a bit of a mess which only makes it more of a thrill to look through. The owner is very knowledgeable on what he does and doesn't have. This is a must go to record store in Milwaukee!

From one shop owner to another, if you're gunna hand price and ring you gotta get the bill right.

Bill Littman: I had a collection of about 1,700 to 1,800 records and was looking to sell them. I live in Madison and contacted 5 used vinyl shops, including Bullseye. The owner set up a time to meet and he spent around 3 1/2 hours with the collection. During this time, we had a terrific conversation, mostly around music. He is very knowledgeable, without a trace of arrogance. Before he left, he gave me a value for the collection.I was thrilled with the offer and decided to sell to Bullseye. Within a few days, I watched my vinyl boxed up and driven away. A little sad, but very pleased with the cash in pocket.The process could not have gone smoother. I cannot recommend Bullseye Records any higher.

Joe Phillips: Great record store for harder to find things. The jazz section is amazing with many rare items! Also, one of, if not, the largest blues, r&b/soul sections in town. Kayla B: I had a good time at Acme Records as someone who honestly doesn't know much about records. I got my first turntable a few weeks ago and a few albums from Goodwill, and wanted to go somewhere I could browse by genre rather than by artist, which this place has so it was great for me. Lots of space to move around, organized really well, and I was happy there was a rather large Electronic section which for me is what I'm most interested in right now. I love electronic music but obviously not all of the artists I like have vinyl, so I like browsing and either finding artists I know or finding new ones that look interesting. I got two vinyl that just looked cool to me and also got another from the soundtrack section that I did know, and I feel like the prices were really fair. Like, basically the same price I would pay online or even a bit less since I didn't pay for shipping.The budget section is great too, but again as I'm more into electronic not a lot was interesting to me at the moment but perhaps when I start collecting more I'll head back there. Also the dog is extremely cute, her name is Gerdy and she immediately walked up to us and was trying to look into our bags and wanting pets.The man working I think may have been the owner, but whoever he was, he was nice and helpful when I asked a few questions about an artist I liked. I'll definitely be back to see what else I can find!

We barely made it to the rest of the store when our table was ready. Looking forward to finding more time to make our way back there and through their vast selection.Prices are higher than one might anticipate, but the selection is varied and wide, and the quality is high. Well worth the cost.

Sean Wiler: We've used Brass Bell for all our student band needs, and it's always been a great experience. They are super friendly and helpful and have always made sure we have exactly what we need. The store is also a beautiful space. I believe they offer lessons for certain instruments as well. Definitely recommend for band student services, or if you're maybe just looking to get back into playing the bass again!😄Update: still friendly, still helpful, still awesome 👍

too many phils: I went here to check the condition on my cello as i'm looking to sell it. John had a string tech take a look and she was quick and knowledgeable, explaining what she saw. John then explained what they can offer as well as what my options were outside of selling to them.I left with a clear picture of how to move forward, as I had no clue how to go about selling my cello. They were extremely helpful.

Bella Ratayczak: Very nice products. It's a pretty small store so there isn't much selection, however the atmosphere is great! They also have ukulele lessons which are very informative. They also occasionally host small concerts which are very entertaining to listen/watch.

Debbie Menk: Excellent service, selection, and prices. This store is a 45-minute drive for me and well worth it. I bought a Yamaha digital piano with accessories. The salesperson was extremely helpful in making my selection and advising on what accessories I might want. It took me about 15 minutes to set everything up, and I played my new piano for hours. I couldn't be more pleased. I had every accessory I would have wanted, but nothing I did not need. It is the perfect setup. Great place.

Robert Hinz: Steve, the guitar tech is the best. He is affordable and will not gouge you for more cash and when I tried to tip him he refused. He definitely knows his stuff. I have had him repair 2 of my Basses and I couldn't be happier with the results and the promptness of the repairs. I drive 45 minutes to see him and it is well worth it. I hope Guitar Center knows what an asset he is to the staff. He is easy to get a hold of. Keep up the great work Steve and I know where I am going the next time I have an issue with any of my Basses.
