Bethany Blount: Quick Update: It's still delicious! I had more restraint than below, but I also came hungrier. They have several delightful crêpe options this season. I wish I could afford to try them all!Absolutely delish! We went for a little brunch and ended up splurging on a three course meal. I made the joke when ordering dessert that I would have to be wheeled out of the restaurant. It was all so good though that my willpower abandoned me. I would highly recommend!
Dave Dunn: Last two times I have gone here I have had bad food. Fried chicken livers way over done, and beef shank was dry and tough, variable were under cooked to he point of being raw. And last time I went somehow my bill came out to $168. I had drinks and bought cocktails mix to go, but just seemed like too much after I thought about it. Not sure if I trust restaurant manger, seemed to be playing around with the bill.
Bel: I had a delicious cup of coffee and ordered the following: Mushroom and spinach waffle. Bread pudding waffle with mushroom duxelle, broccolini, salad, feta, truffle oil, poached eggs and smoked shallot marmalade. Looks great....however, my waffle was burned and BLACK on the bottom. Also one egg was hard in the center, not poached. Not inedible, but it could have been an amazing dish if they hadn't plated the burned waffle. The accompanying salad had a very good dressing....love breakfast with some salad on the plate. Great atmosphere and service. I'll be back.

Stephanie: I came here with my boyfriend from out of town. We were seated promptly. We had our pics taken by Nick the friendly Valet gent. Our server was mediocre. We were surprised that bread wasn't a staple and we had an upcharge of 2.00 for the 🥨 pretzel bread when the dinner plates were 40 bucks a person. We went here bc it was rated high and we are both of Hermanic descent. I am second generation half Bavarian and Austrian -Irish, while my sweetie is Swiss Irish. Our server could have been more outgoing. But the food, atmosphere,and the greeter and valet were otherwise top notch. We would recommend this destination resteraunt fir sure when in Milwaukee for sure!Parking: We had the sauerbraten and red cabbage. It is outstanding. Paid meter pking or paid valet plenty of pking.

The salad was fresh and crisp. I choose the filet medallions with foie gras... it was nothing less than ahhhmazing. I definitely recommend. Cheryl Wells: We were looking for a pub with a good burger for lunch, and Oscar's popped up on the list. Although it said it was busier than usual with a wait time 15-30 minutes when we arrived, there was no wait. Our server was quick and attentive. I had a bloody mary, it was delicious. I usually like a bit of spicy heat in my bloody, this one had a smokey chipolte taste 😋 soo good. I don't recall the name of the burger but it had blue cheese and an amazing aoili, I ordered it medium, and it was perfectly cooked. Juicy and flavorful. The accompanying fries were a treat all on their own, I like that they were crisp and sprinkled with cheese. All this and a great value.

Jason Alexander: They are still so great, i tried the garlic buffalo and its one of the best buffalo's, not too hot, and the flavor is amazing. Also if you come here and they have the blueberry BBQ or the butterscotch BBQ definitely get one of those. Their crinkle cut fries and the potato wedges have always been perfect, nice fluffy insides, crispy outside, and the food is always hot and fresh, I literally cannot recommend this place enough. AND if the owner sees this PLEASE add the butterscotch BBQ to permanent sauce list, it is quite literally the best BBQ I've ever had in my life, the 3 friends I had with me also agreed, I would buy and drink that stuff by bottle!!!!!Parking: Good luck!

Dave DeWitt: A good, friendly place for a quick treat. It's a basic restaurant, very clean but rather small. There is outside tables which is good on nice days. The food is always delicious. My wife and I each had a jumbo dog, shared a large soda, and shared a piece of banana cake a ND it was nearly $25, which is why I only gave it a 4 star. All in all, we will be back, guaranteed.

Parking was quicker than usual and we were seated immediately. Our waiters and bartenders were exceptional representing this fine establishment. The steak was cooked to perfection the short rib as well. The hash brown fish fry was to die for and the drinks are strong! What more could we ask for, definitely an upscale choice I would consider again!

I preferred this because it was quieter and felt more relaxed. The pepperjack mac and cheese was really good, but came out a bit cold. Steak was cooked properly, but was pretty tough for a filet. Served and runner were both polite and not overly conversational, which I appreciated.

The eggs Benedict flight is such a h issue and awesome option and they were absolutely amazing!!! We choose the Mcbenedict, Dublin eggs Benedict and Nashville hot chicken Benedict. Honestly, I couldn't pick a favorite because they were all so good!Our two year old thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate chip pancakes. I do wish they had a syrup option that didn’t have high fructose corn syrup. For the table to share we ordered the Reuben stuffed hash browns which were delightful! We can’t wait to visit again soon!

Jessica: I live in the far north suburbs in Illinois and sometimes visit the Harbor House when I'm in the area. I have tried a few different entrees and plan on ordering a different dish each visit.Their Crispy Pork Belly appetizer is delicious. There's a nice, satisfying crunch to the pork belly skin and the meat itself is tender. The Hudson Canyon Sea Scallops entree comes with four perfectly seared sea scallops thoughtfully accompanied with salmon roe, which makes the flavors come together and pop – both literally and metaphorically. I've also had the Rainbow Trout entree, which was very fresh.It's refreshing to see that Harbor House offers two kinds of lobster rolls: Main-Style and Connecticut-Style. I prefer Connecticut-Style, so that's what I ordered at Harbor House. The kitchen is generous with the amount of lobster meat. The toasted Brioche bun is so good you can eat it on its own. I don't think Harbor House uses Maine lobster, but I wish they do because Maine lobster is still hands down by far the best tasting lobster because of it's naturally sweet flavor profile.Customer service at Harbor House is also outstanding. The hostess is always very friendly. Even though we didn't exchange eye contact as I was leaving the restaurant, the hostess wished me a good evening, which led me to turn around and wish her the same.I wasn't sure whether to rate the Harbor House 4 or 5 stars because the food is overly salty. The heavy salt content reacts with the acidity of some of their dishes and made my mouth tingle. That's my only issue with the food at Harbor House, but it doesn't really stop me from visiting again when I'm in the area. 5 stars anyway.

Jennifer Fjelsted: Stopped here for lunch and had a great time. The food was excellent and so was the atmosphere. The service really stood out! Our server, Joe, was friendly, attentive, gave us excellent menu recommendations and really elevated our experience. He was also training a new server, Tori, and she was great too! The Bowman was very friendly, knowledgeable about all of the drinks, and also suggested some tasty options. The view from the bar was great, although it was raining and cloudy, we still enjoyed ourselves immensely. If you’re going to come here, make sure you put aside some hours to enjoy the atmosphere and the bar.

Carmen Garcia Sirera: Amilinda delivers authenticity. There are many restaurants out there claiming culinary uniqueness, but at the end they fall short. Amilinda brings the flavors of Spain and Portugal without creating copycat versions of traditional Iberian Peninsula dishes. All the dishes arw prepared and made to deliver an experience. And thar experience does not end with the amazing dishes. The casual but classy ambience can be experienced from the moment walking in, to sitting in the table or counter for dinner, to the interaction with the wonderful staff. Love coming here not just for special occasions, but anytime we want exceptional food delivered with a wonderful time.
Patricia Gabarra: Delicious as always! I dined in with some friends on Feb 7, 2024. It had been a while, as a don’t live in Milwaukee. Everyone loved their appetizers and enthusiastically shared them - Spanish style. I selected the braised endives and their were delicious and a very light and clever preparation. As much as I love tasty veggies I also like meat. So it was a familiar and comforting choice for me: the pork carcamusa. The serving was generous as usual and the good thing about this dish is that it is just as good if not better as a leftover - YUM. The bartender proposed his Spanish twist on a Mai Tai and it was delicious. Service was friendly and casual and the dining atmosphere can’t be beat if you are looking for charm with a genuine flair of a Mediterranean restaurant. It reminds me of home, Spain, every time. Thank you Amilinda team!Vegetarian options: There has always been a nice vegetarian option every time I’ve been.

Tony del pino: I've been wanting to stop by Bavette for quite some time. I must say it should be a must if you live or are visiting Milwaukee.With having roots of being a Butcher Shop and having an open kitchen concept, this place hit all the marks.The service was attentive. The menu was plentiful. The pricing was much more than fair. A great wine list to boot.Please get the Steak Tartare. Just....do it.

У них было несколько фирменных блюд из стейков на ужин, но мы выбрали сэндвич с курицей, который подавали с ужином Fresh Fresh, салатом, который был легким и идеальным. Приятные коктейли и атмосфера, а также красивое расположение в 3-м отделении.

Matt Boyce: Don't sleep on Ash in the Iron Horse Hotel. This is very under appreciated restaurant with superior food and a great upscale casual dining environment.Our server was just spectacular and I cannot say enough about her pleasant demeanor and extensive knowledge of the menu. Well done and sadly a rare talent in our current time of laziness and unenthusiastic worker attitudes. Tip people like this generously!
Esther Raymond: cook food over a fire and plate it beautifully. Our steak and scallops were cooked perfectly and our martinis were delicious thanks to Tim behind the bar. I would definitely recommend this spot — top tier dinner and service.
jen m: Amazing!!! We were the first to arrive on a Saturday night and were offered a seat at the chef's table where we watched them cook over the fire. It was a cold rainy night so the warmth was very welcome. The service was great and the food was better than I expected after reading some reviews. We had the chicken, porkchop, potato, brussel sprouts and grilled avocado. My favorite was the pork chop but it all was really very amazing. Drinks were also great. What a wonderful evening. Thank you!!!

Took her time to make sure everything was perfect. Flat iron steak, scallops, mashed potatoes, and chocolate cake are what we got and everything was 10/10. We will definitely be coming back! Cel Krause: Located in the Iron Horse hotel the ash has an amazing atmosphere. The open fire is very old fashioned in the best way possible. The menu was well curated and tasted amazing. Service was a tad slow and we spent over 2 hours dining here. I still rate this restaurant highly for a romantic dinner night or high end business gathering. Plan on spending a little extra time here for a relaxing, conversation filled evening!
Isaac Bolton: Went on my birthday and had an exceptional experience! The fat candle was divine, the Brussel sprouts were perfection, the cod was beyond delicious, the elk loin was juicy, and the right texture! I don't even know how to properly explain the nirvana I experienced when I took my first bite of the chefs special wagu filet! That slice of heaven literally melted in my mouth! For desert I had the apple with whipped cream and caramel, the whipped cream was hand made, and the perfect ending to a magical evening in culinary heaven! The server was the best I've had in a long time she was very attentive and did her best to make our experience the best it could be! She deserves a raise!

Cooking is an art that is front and center.Make sure to get reservations as it is a smaller quaint restaurant with limited times. While dining, I noticed that there were numerous regulars there dining. We will definitely be one of those now!Those Boys Can Cook!
