Steve Tulogeski: My wife made great progress with her medical issues and physical therapy. Great professional people and quite friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Tom Shanahan: My wife has been at Select for just over a month after suffering complications from open heart surgery. The staff are all very kind and friendly. The nurses are patient, the CNAs work incredibly hard, the therapists are all tough but kind, and the administrators have all been great. My wife has improved dramatically since she arrived and will soon be discharged to the next level of rehabilitation. This facility has been wonderful for her recovery. The staff have cheered her on when she reached milestones, they've supported her when she was feeling hopeless, and they've provided excellent care every step of the way. Everyone I've interacted with, from the CEO, who occasionally roams the halls, to the housekeepers are friendly and invested in the outcomes of their patients. As with any facility, there have been frustrations, but overall, I would highly recommend Select.

Nancy Elizabeth: for 41 days. Was transferred on a Friday from a hospital in an unresponsive condition but upon our visit that following Monday, was changed to being alert and aware! That was a huge, unexpected surprise as we were told from our loved one's prior care team that any chance of responsiveness was low. Only progress was made during the entire stay at SS! No setbacks whatsoever.Aside from a few stragglers, overall, all the staff we came into contact with were respectful, attentive, and friendly. Even the CEO made time to introduce himself to me during his visit to another patient, and welcomed me to contact him directly with any requests or concerns. The nurses and CNAs who took care of our loved one were great. They not only made our loved one feel welcomed and important but also made us family members and visitors feel the same. They always asked if our loved one wanted or needed anything and ensured comfort. Our loved one was uplifted by their presence and enjoyed talking with them. The therapists are amazing, especially Aric, the speech therapist. Our loved one really enjoyed working with Aric-- he constantly was giving suggestions and encouragement on how to get better with each session. Annette, the case manager is great also. She is warm and friendly, addressed all concerns and was timely in her responses.The only issues we ran into and complaints we have

Katie Hughes: My mom spent several weeks here. Overall it was a good experience. She progressed quickly thanks to the great PT, OT and Speech therapists. The nursing staff was knowledgeable. The CNA staff took care of her many needs. The doctors were diligent to check on her regularly. They did good to make sure my mom was helped in every way and ready to move to the next facility for her care. I recommend going through the paperwork to verify the accuracy at the time of discharge. There was old information from entering the facility that was still on the paperwork at discharge and we didn't catch it until arriving at the new facility so we had some sorting to do. That was a minor issue though, I realize there is a ton of paperwork that gets written and it wasn't a huge problem, just caused some confusion at the next facility. I still highly recommend Select Specialty Hospital West Allis to anyone needing this level of care. As a visitor I always felt safe and welcomed there. The staff was very kind to me and happy to answer my many questions. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. I was also able to bring in my own food and microwave it in the vending area.
Bonne Lynn: Great nurses, great care! I spent about a month here, April-May. Everyone was very accommodating. If you require this type of care, choose Specialty Select in West Allis WI. Special nurses: Michelle, Marena and Sarah,,special aide: Diane. All staff friendly and willing to help.Great PT and OT . My mobility has improved since being here.

Shirley has been especially helpful ... often returning to give my wife additional PT on days when she had a little down time between scheduled sessions.
Randi Olson: I had covid and other health problems and I am on a ventilator. The team here at Select has been good with handling the complications that have popped up the respiratory team is amazing and very caring they helped make a scary situation less scary Joe and Mary are outstanding caregivers.Aric in speech is a very warm and caring person he really takes the time to explain things. Marisa is a fantastic nurse. The only down side is they are under staffed and that can at times effective the level of care but not enough to put anyone in danger just a little in convenient. Overall I am have a good experience here.

Unfortunately my lungs were compromised and I had to return to select specialty. I have no problem coming at this time because I already knew most of the staff and loved them like family. I would normally name names and let other people know how much they mean to me, but that would take writing down every single name of all of the nursing and cna staff, including, a cleaning staff and cooking as well as all the respiratory therapist. You all mean so very much to me thank you so much for all that you’ve done for me.

Absolutely. Forces beyond our control, managed care, and government rules and regulations have certainly influencedand constrained psychiatrists from operating more freely these days, across the board. But ABC Clinics have still managed to give compassionate care, that really is as easy as ABC!

Garth Badger: You need more than one person at your front desk. The sole person at the desk when I was there was there was on the phone and I waited and waited. I wanted to set a new appointment and after ten minutes I just left.
Lois Keating: I have been seeing Dr. Jim Winston for 35 years. I was having panic attacks 24 hrs. a day and couldn't leave the house. Within 3 weeks of seeing Jim and being on medication, the panic attacks were gone and I got my life back. Over the years, he's gotten to know me quite well, and I would trust him with my life. He has also treated my brother, my mother, and my niece.Update...it is now April of 2024. Three weeks ago, I was so depressed I was crying. I contacted Jim and he suggested I undergo TMS therapy. So, I started TMS therapy on 4/2, and 15 days later I'm feeling better! I'm not where I'd like to be yet, but I'm not down in the doldrums like I was. Don't know what I'd do without Jim and ABC Clinics.

Dawn K Brown: Great Hospital that goes above and beyond for children. It is the old St.Marys Hospital. Froedert Hospital. 3rd floor was where I was. Ronald McDonald house is directly across the street from the Hospital.

Paul Werner: Always have had great service here. They quickly helped at finding my daughter had a hemangioma right under her left eye that needed to be taken care of. Friendly and always willing to answer all our questions. Only downside is the valet parking is not always there during hours when they should be but that's very minor since it's easy to find parking here.
