Bittercube Bazaar: what do users think?

Kelli Butenhof: Fun place for some cocktails. Cheers!

K: Really good drinks!! Fun atmosphere.

Anthony Jones: This bar at North Ave Market knows what they are doing. If you are fortunate enough to get Anthony as a bartender, you will surely leave happy. He is literally an encyclopedia of cocktails….what goes together, what flavors work well, what specific alcohols should be shaken at room temp versus on ice. My husband and I appreciate all of the above and more. His brief lessons based on my questions were like being in a drink making class. Overall, the drinks are phenomenal and the staff, including owners, go above and beyond to make you feel like a friend and not just a patron. Please visit! They are THEE best!

Xo Xo: 👍 They definitely make sure you have lots of fun time when you come here!! 😋They make some delicious drinks too!!🍷 🍶 🥃 🍸 🍺 🍹 🍵 🥤 🍾

Madyun Wilson: I would like to personally thank Brandon he has been a great and professional representative of the Bittercube organization. He made me the most amazing dirty martini I’ve ever seen. I’m privileged that you moved into the north side of Milwaukee, such a cultured industrial atmospheric space. Highly suggest the Heirlooms Crème de Flores. Hours get a little weird but call and they answer if they are open you’ll be welcomed!Updated: Friday July 2 2021 Still A No. 1 Fan ! Picture from today!

A.J. Magoon: Really great selection and good service! Ordered some bitters for curbside pickup and everything was very smooth and easy.

Courtney Ignatowski: Bittercube has such fun and innovative virtual cocktails classes. Each cocktail has it own unique spin on it. You can pick up all the ingredients at their location before class. Brandon & Ira make it an experience- definitely get the Bittercube Cherry Bark Vanilla Bitters!

Jennifer Roberts: An amazing time learning how to make the best Manhattans! A great find!! Great people & products!

Joyce Gardiner: Our bartender William was awesome...suggested drinks...served them with a smile...mixed cocktails to our liking! He also suggested items for us to purchase from the Bazaar! It was a great experience!

Jen Vega: The most amazing cocktails in Milwaukee. Great place in a place I wouldn't have expected. Goes to show you that MKE is truly up & coming.

claudio cortes: Yum to the max

The Tin Widow: what do users think?

Daniel Kelley: Service: 5/5

David Sapp: The best vibe, amazing staff and the drinks just make it perfect!

Emily Anderson: I've been a few times at various levels. On this evening we grabbed a drink after a comedy show. This is a classic MKE bar with great service, creative and well-crafted drinks, fun decor and even better patrons. It's worth a stop...even if you just want to look at well-groomed men working behind the bar... You'll have a great time. You will find a conversation. The atmosphere is inviting and I intentionally ordered a fussy drink to confirm they care about their output... they do. They consistently do. And I love that about this place.Fall 2023: consistently great. Chris is dope.

a niutad: They don't serve food. However, you can bring in tacos from Taco Moto food truck. Service is great, and at times, I had to wait due to busy times. Drinks are excellent, too.Atmosphere: 4/5 …

Lauren George: Atmosphere: 5/5

Biirdheart: love this place! just came here while visiting from out of town and was so impressed with the staff, considering it was a Saturday night and packed full.there were only a few bartenders serving the entire place and they handled everything with speed and ease. when I had trouble getting an Uber, they made sure I was safe getting to my hotel. they are all professional and sweet.I absolutely will come back here again when I’m in town- specifically because of the bar staff

Charles Mark: Okay drinks at a good price but overcrowded because it's a white girl insta paradise. If you want a lot of mounted heads that no one within a 1k miles shot here is your place. The boilermaker deal is bomb af and reeks of gen Z BOH influence. Otherwise, learn how to smoosh fruit ingredients because these mf's busy af and deserve 3x raises.

Finks: what do users think?

Mark Steele: What a fun and memorable experience.Well-valued, well-crafted, well-executed, sanitary drinking spot to have a solid cocktail. Solely focused on guest experience with no other distractions like food.Engaging, personable, and professional staff will guide you through the experience. My mixologist actually had traveled to some of the areas where the spirits were produced.A plethora of board and card games on hand to keep as competitive back drop while you're soaking in the experience. No TVs.I wish there was a watering hole like this close to my house.Well done to the team.

Lost Whale: what do users think?

John Levine: Bartender is very nice and professional. Will go again!

Benjamin McNeil: around and looking at the details. We ordered small plates as appetizers, and they were fantastic and arrived quickly. The large plates took a fair bit longer to arrive, but all of us cleaned our plates. Seriously, my tiny sister actually scraped her plate clean with her fork and knife. Overall, this was a very nice experience. Prices for food were pretty high, though cocktail prices were a good deal.Vegetarian options: Butternut squash small plate was insanely delicious

Alex G: Great cocktails and good bartenders

Maia H: This is a small cocktail bar, so don't be surprised if you don't get a seat on the weekends, especially during happy hour! Happy hour is 4-6pm and it's half off their specialty house cocktails or draft beer. Our group liked the Wisconsin old fashioned and the negroni spritz the best. The bartender did a good job by herself when it was extremely busy. My only complaint is the music was too loud, we could barely hear each other talk.

Jeremy Miller: Classic go-to tiki bar in Milwaukee. Great for the first stop of the night or after dinner.Drinks: Great cocktails all around. I always lean towards the tequila drinks. Some of the cocktails you’ve got to watch out for since they’ll be real sugary.Atmosphere: look at it. Moody and pirate-like. It sets the scene for a good time. Although it is really loud and you’ll prolly have a hard time hearing company.Service: super quick. Order at the bar.

Nicole Hines: !

Jenna Wade: Fun and kitschy with fantastic tiki drinks - what more could you want?!?

The Sofie: what do users think?

Dillan Koch: This is a great place to go for a first date between 6-10pm. It's not busy, the music wasn't too loud, and it has a very nice upscale comforting atmosphere. The staff was great, drinks were amazing with an average cocktail price of $12, and plenty of deals on beers, wines, margaritas, etc. They'll turn the music up at 9pm when it starts to get busier, and 10pm is when the main music event starts and it turns into a typical loud fun dance club. Both my date and I were very impressed. I highly recommend The Sofie!

teresa roque: Went here for New Year’s had so much fun had very good drinks atmosphere was great. Only thing is I got my coat stolen and I’m very very disappointed. 😭 called the next day, but I had no luck. Was hoping maybe it got left behind or if they had cameras, they could help me distinguish maybe who it wasAtmosphere: 5/5 …

Ivan Benitez: Great vibes after 10 pm

GAMERxPROx BRO: If you love house music, the sofie is for you

Daniel Towers: The house music on Wednesdays! Awesome vibe and lounge areas.

Kristy Zahn: Older millennial. The music didn't kill me to start with. $12 martinis. Lots of vaping though

Twisted Path Distillery: what do users think?

Ryan Folger: Stopped by on a whim this past Saturday. Tried the Rye Old Fashioned, one of the best I have ever had. Delicious and detailed. Highly recommend!

Natalie Losik: Really great distillery and cocktail lounge! Great vibe.

Meg K: This place is awesome! We were lucky enough to do a tour with the owner and ordered a round of drinks. The tour was super informative, and he was funny to boot! The drinks were to die for, and we went home with a bottle of their brandy, their rye, their chai liquor, and their bloody mary vodka. 😅 The atmosphere was such a cool vibe as well!

Ross: Really great liqueur and cocktails. Professional presentation and balanced!

David Brygger: Great bartenders, excellent cocktail and you can even take a bottle home. Nice date spot.

Steve Hansen: Great place and amazing drinks

gabriella bauer: Great experience! Plus the gin and vodka taste phenomenal!! A definite must!

Jen O: Great atmosphere and a nice selection of mocktails for the DD.

Julie Grace Immink: Experts in their craft

Andy Earle: I was in town for a buddy's birthday party and all 8 of us took a tour of the facility. It was fun and informative. The owner is a super cool guy who knows what he is doing when it comes to distilling. The layout was simplistic and efficient, which was refreshing to see in a successful business. Sometimes they are over-complicated and confusing. This guy took that part out and polished the model up, making money in the process. Go him!As for the spirits, they were delicious. I love a good gin and this delivered. I also got a bottle of their Chai for my wife, as she likes herself some of that!Overall, it was a great outing for a birthday and I would come back in the future if I'm in the area!

Brian Gallagher: Peppery 100 BIB Rye is a sure go to. The mixologists are knowledgeable and put a lot into their cocktails.

david kindness: Best tour ever

Faithful Foodie: Amazing atmosphere. Amazing live jazz music. Amazing service. Amazing refreshments. Amazing time!Perfect adult environment to enjoy a great time out. Pfister is a wonderful hotel, but I would go again just to hang out at Blu!

Ivan Corona: The architecture on the first floor of this building is absolutely breathtaking, creating a very elegant and refined atmosphere. Once you ascend to the bar, you are greeted by a beautiful view of the city. The addition of live jazz playing throughout the night was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here.I came here solely for drinks, so my rating is based solely on this aspect.

Goodkind: what do users think?

Jingwen: Stopped by Goodkind for a post-ski meal with friends and had a fantastic experience. The restaurant was full, but the friendly host managed to make us feel personally welcomed. Really enjoyed the vibe and the ambiance. The food exceeded our expectations across the board—from appetizers to desserts. I've already recommended it to several friends.

dusty roller: Update: the last couple times I have visited I paid $30 for a cut of meat that was absolutely garbage. Flavor was on point but the meat itself was rough. All hail good kind! Every visit has been mind-blowing

Madyun Wilson: Goodkind served me some of the best restaurant food I had in months. I'm extremely excited to take on new restaurants for you all in Mke. The staff was a 10/10 every person was friendly, timely, and knowledgeable. They greeted and seated us in a very populated area of the bar so we ordered cocktails immediately. They had a very impressive menu that out scaled most Chicago restaurants in prowess. The chef exceeded himself when our food arrived and the presentation and attention to detail were demonstrated very well. I would give them more than five stars if I could. They are located in Bay View so it is a drive, however they are one the best I've had so far and it's definitely worth it!

Eric Mendeloff: Had dinner at the bar and served by Gary who not only was a superb bartender that made one of the best mojitos from scratch that I’ve had in a long time. I tasted their premixed mojito and it was too sweet. Pleasant to talk to, articulate and knowledgeable. Gavin Lee: I really enjoyed the service and food! Unfortunately the ‘ automatic 18% service charge’ goes to the restaurant and not the waitress I had. I understand owning a local restaurant is not easy but this did make my bill higher than it needed to be since I am still leaving an additional tip for my waitress. Again, food and service was awesome though!

Braise Restaurant & Culinary School: what do users think?

Morgan S: Stopped in at Braise last night with a friend for the 3-course dinner! You won’t find better ingredients or a better deal. It is truly a one of a kind dining experience and the food is AMAZING—not to mention generously portioned. From start to finish you get a choice between two delicious appetizers, two main course items, and choice between two desserts. This was my second time to Braise and I look forward to coming back. I had the mushroom risotto and highly recommend it. The waitstaff and bartenders are very friendly and add to the overall experience. Perfect for date night with the hubby, or drinks with your girlfriends!

Angela Zuniga: Great service every time we dine in! Perfect date night or even our larger girls nights out are always a hit when we dine at Braise. The waitstaff makes sure we are well taken care of and and is knowledgeable about the food they are serving. They accommodate our many dietary restrictions and the food is always fresh and delicious! Easily the best date night spot in Milwaukee. A must visit.

Liz Fiene: First time having Xiao long bao and I have never had anything like this before! It was my favorite item we tried of the night, would definitely have again if it appeared back on the menu. I love that the ingredients are local and the menu rotates to bring me out of my comfort zone and try new things. Since m still exploring and determining what flavors I like/don’t like, I enjoy that the bartenders can make me something with just some personal input and some questions. I’ve only been here during the winter season but I am looking forward to patio season and I hope they have the patio/rooftop open in addition to their normal seating once summer hits! I just signed up for their tamales cooking class in May and I am looking forward to seeing this side of the restaurant next!

Megan Fiene: I love coming to Braise and eating in the bar area. Their booths and candle lights give a cozy atmosphere and can make a perfect date night. Sit at the bar to enjoy fun conversations and witness Flan and Evan crafting up the amazing cocktails behind the bar. Even if you don’t see a drink on the menu that catches your eyes, they can make anything you are feeling or give them the freedom to surprise you with a “dealers choice” cocktail. I love that the food menu changes every few weeks, one of the many reasons I keep coming back!Vegetarian options: They update their menu often and always mark if the food is vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free n

Ingrid Davis: I absolutely cannot express how AMAZING Braise Restaurant & Culinary School was for our reception. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue. We reserved the upstairs room, including the outdoor space that provided a beautiful view of the city.Becky Ayala, the restaurant manager, was a dream to work with. She was responsive to my emails and detail-oriented, which was so helpful during the reception planning process. The beautifully decorated room dazzled guests the moment they arrived at Braise and established the vibe for the rest of the room’s design. We also loved having the outdoor space, which was perfectly decorated, with floral arrangements placed everywhere. We opted for a family-style dinner. Locally sourced seasonal food inspired the menu of Mixed Green Salad, Lemon Risotto, Montreal Chicken and Soy Braised Beef. The food was delicious and the two wedding cocktails, Crazy Dave’s Old Fashioned and Rhubarb Lemonade were wonderful and flavorful. Our waiter, Kira and David, our bartender, were exceptional and on top of everything. The timing of the dishes was efficiently paced to allow sufficient time in between dishes.Everything was superb, and our guests raved about the venue and the food. I cannot recommend Becky and her team highly enough. You will not regret booking your venue in Braise.

Chrissi Quinn: We had our wedding dinner here and the catering was phenomenal. We booked out the first floor and the split between cocktails in the bar area and dinner in the dining room was a nice little change of setting. The braised beef, pork buns, and chocolate mouse were hits, guests even took leftovers home. The lemon curd wedding cake made by the pastry chefs was great and beautifully but tastefully decorated. I hope we can come back for all our anniversaries.Wheelchair accessibility: My significant other's mom is in an electric wheelchair and it was easy for her to get in and navigate around the first floor.
