Cassie Cosgrove: My fiancé and I took father/daughter and mother/son dance lessons here. We did two 40 minutes lessons back to back and time flew by. I wasn’t sure what to expect but we had a ton of fun. Our instructors Natalie and Sodo were phenomenal. They went at our pace, taught us a few styles of dance, and then worked on applying some of that to the songs we had picked up. I highly recommend coming here if you are looking for lessons for a wedding dance!

Edward Burr: My last 2 years at Fred Astaire have been a dream! I started dancing kind of as a joke. I was traveling to Brazil for my friends wedding and thought I'd learn to Samba in a couple months to prepare. What I found was an energetic and supportive community of like-minded individuals. Positive, supportive, and understanding. And that's just the other students. The instructors are even better. You will not regret your time here. You will feel uncomfortable but you will get past it and on the other side is an unparalleled sense of confidence. And you'll look great doing it!
Timothy Wade: but also interact with the staff. The staff is fun to work with and they keep you focused on whatever dance or routine you are doing. I would recommend going to Fred Astaire because learning the dances and routines will keep you fit and get to interact with staff that enjoy what they do and wants you to have as much fun as they do.
Kate Lorenz: Dancing at Fred Astaire of Milwaukee is more than dancing. It's like a wonderful party every time I walk through the door. Wonderful teachers and staff. Amazing fellow students who have become dear friends. And invigorating learning that is good for brain and body, all while smiling from ear to ear throughout each lesson. I walk out tired but very, very happy!

Kavita Tawadarre: As I am into singing and dance, my kathak friend who is a kathak artistic director introduced me to Danceworks. a vibrant dance studio located in heart of milwaukee downtown.As i am relatively new to other non Bollywood dance forms, I was eager to explore the magic of movements, workouts and rhythms. Overall welcoming atmosphere, the expertise of the instructors, and the exhilarating dance class I attended is just amazing.This place is definitely the best place for kids to learn and grow in dance art form. ejk2911: They don't really focus on technique. Just a bunch of turn patterns. At the end of the class everyone is usually doing their own thing. But it's nice that they teach a lot of dance patterns. Most places are stingy with turn patterns.

Assorted Titles: I have taken dance lessons at Delaware House with Martin Cawston for about 5 years. It is a welcoming establishment that gives the community of Bayview the feel of friendliness and good old fashioned neighborhood warmth. Taking ballroom lessons with Martin allows me to develop my passion for dance, Delaware House also offers many other wellness services, massage, fitness, various classes and physical therapy. Certainly an asset to a small neighborhood one can enjoy being a part of.

Jenna Kuhn: I got hooked on salsa dancing after attending one of the First Friday Salsa Socials. I started taking classes with Matt and Betsy soon after, and have been visiting the Delaware House on a weekly basis for classes ever since! It's a very clean, open, and well maintained facility with a wide variety of services. I come up from Racine each week, and I know of others who come from out of town as well to take advantage of all the Delaware House has to offer. I highly recommend checking it out!

Pat McCarville: My first visit was a salsa dancing social, open to the public. I had never danced salsa before.It was a very fun experience. The studio was clean and modern, and the staff was kind, curious, and professional. It was a great value.

If you're not into dance they have a trainer to work on getting/keeping you in shape, yoga for the inner you, massage therapy if you over did it, acupuncture, physical therapy and an aesthetist to make sure you look your best. It was a wonderful evening that my father described as the best birthday of his life... and at 89, that covers a lot of ground! The studio was elegant and provided a great venue for the event!

They also host free group dance nights several times a week for students to come practice. The staff are sooo amazing and always very friendly. From multiple levels of pole dance, strength building classes, to lap dance classes, and burlesque classes. The classes are fun, confidence boosting, strength building! I can be having the worst day, whether it be stress or just a day of low confidence, and coming to class never fails to make leave feeling stronger, happier, more confident, and sexier than when I walked in ❤️ both instructors are personable and take the time to get to know every student, whether it be related to pole or personal life. Both Mareen and DJ work to advance every student at their own pace, and I felt completely prepared when I moved onto advanced. The instructors aside, the community is so welcoming and encouraging. My advanced class was mostly students with years of experience ahead of mine, and all the girls made me feel so welcomed, and never came across as superior or showing off. There has yet to be a time where I didn't feel supported, andeveryone around me has been nothing less than helpful and kind. Every woman needs a community as supportive and empowering as this, and I wouldn't have wanted to find mine anywhere else the studio has also worked very hard to keep everyone safe and comfortable during the pandemic, and I could not be more grateful to come to a place every week that allows me to feel safe, but not completely restricted, and they are working every day to adjust in accordance with the changing CDC guidelines to keep everyone feeling as such!

Melissa Kate: Sean Beglan is not only an amazing dance teacher, but also an incredible mentor. His positivity and encouragement has helped to transform my children in a way that has allowed them to not only develop new confidence as dancers, but also as individuals; something that will last well after the dance shoes have been retired. His ability to help his students positively navigate through successes as well as disappointments is truly wonderful.Sean perfectly balances keeping my dancers competition ready, with challenging technique and exciting choreography, while also finding ways to keep things fun.Our non competition, performance opportunities have also been so much fun!The support, friendships and memories we have experienced at Beglan are things that will remain with our family for a lifetime. There's a fantastic parent board that organizes fun social events and welcomes new families with open arms. The top notch instruction and training, led by Sean and Chelsea, both TCRG accredited, is engaging and rigorous, exactly what my dancers want. There is full transparency on schedule changes well in advance, frequent and clear communication, and the opportunities to perform in the Milwaukee community are abundant. We are so pleased with our experience at Beglan, I highly recommend this school to all Irish dancers of all ages in the Milwaukee area!

Sean is supportive but also pushes the dancers to be their best in a way that focuses on growth and makes the experience positive. Our daughter loves dance again. Costs are better than some others and atmosphere is supportive. Definitely recommend this school regardless of level.
Owen Goldin: Our daughter fell in love with Irish dance after watching some young ladies come out and dance at a Chieftains concert. Sean's schedule was full but he was touched by her story, and she began to take lessons at Beglan, with girls much younger than her. She loved the dances and instruction, and, though she was at first well behind, received special attention and encouragement that allowed her to move up quickly, so that now she successfully competes. Our daughter loves the teachers, and we enjoy the welcome extended by the whole Beglan community. This is a wonderful institution.
Melinda Yoder: My daughter has been dancing with Beglan for 4 years now. We have been so happy with the high quality instruction and support she has experienced there from day one to the present. Sean Beglan takes great pride in meeting students' and families' needs. Sean sets a tone of community in his school that is second to none. We can always get questions answered every step of the way. We also love the size of Beglan. It's just the right size so that no dancers get "lost in the crowd" like I've seen in other schools. Our daughter recently said she "loves to challenge herself to do her best". Learning Irish dance at Beglan has been an integral piece of that positive attitude! We highly recommend Beglan Academy of Irish Dance.
Catherine Alioto: I have been at Beglan Academy since 2007 and have loved every year here. I couldn't ask for or dream of better and more motivating instructors. Every single class or private lesson I have attended they both are fully committed to helping me become a better dancer. I choose to spend almost everyday at the studio because it is where I can be myself and where I grow the most as a person. Sean and Chelsea not only have made me the dancer I am today, they teach me incredibly important life lessons. I have learned to lose graciously and Sean always encourages me to wish good luck and congratulations to the other dancers in every competition I attend. He is so welcoming and when moving into a new class or even into the school as a new dancer, Sean helps them feel at home. Chelsea has taught me the value and importance of hard work. With her help I have developed a good work ethic and know that if I want something bad enough I will have work for it. They have both provided me with amazing opportunities such as a trip to Ireland for the Riverdance Summer School. Without their help I know I wouldn't have been able to go or be where I am today. My hard work has payed off and I am now assistant teaching Tuesday and Thursday nights. I get the chance to work with incredible people like Callie, Riva, and Sam. They are amazing role models and I hope to be like them when I am older. However, the people I look up to the most are Sean and Chelsea. They inspire me every day to do my best and I can't imagine better role models than they are. I wouldn't trade my years at Beglan for anything and hope to continue to be a part of the Beglan Academy family forever.
Amanda: but this is not the case at Beglan Academy. My daughter began lessons there around 5 years old and Sean has been there since day one. I see his involvement with all of the classes. This is rare and something I value immensely! Performances range from program recitals, Irish Fest, news shows, to dancing in Irish restaurants/pubs and malls. All of the performances are done with professional quality and yet flexible/light hearted approach that allows the dancers to be confident in a supportive environment.The Flexibility and Understanding: Sean listens to the dancers and the families. If not in the studio instructing, you can find Sean talking with families in the hall ways. There are windows that look in each practice studio for parents to view the instruction and progress of their child. Occasionally Sean invites parents into the studio to give us more insight and give the students an audience. This is one of my favorite parts! After class, if my daughter has something to improve on or has done better on something she can articulate what those things are. This tells me the teachers are communicating these things to her and have her best at mind. Further, I have never felt pressured to sign my child up for competitions or events. There is plenty to be involved in but Sean and the teachers inform the families and leave the amount of commitment up to the family. If we don’t want to take part in a competition or have to miss out on St. Patrick performances
Rob Johnston: We have never experienced a more family like establishment. the costs are in line with on ther schools if not better. Irish dance isn't cheap anywhere you go. Sean is a fantastic role model.

Patricia Ellis: I previously left a review with North Shore Dance Studio when my daughter first started. I am writing another review. If I could give more than 5 stars I WOULD!!! The Studio itself provides a calm and friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in. My daughter and my family were always greeted with genuine smiles. I LOVED her dance teacher, Amanda. She always spoke LIFE into my daughter. When I was worried about not following directions, Amanda always praised her for how well she did. The proof was in the pudding. The season recital was awesome! My daughter and her class performed beautifully. Other parents and students were always very kind as well.When you are a parent of color with a child of color, one of your concerns are, "Will my child be treated kindly? Will they be marginalized? Or will they be accepted?" North Shore was amazing at not only welcoming my baby , but speaking life into her and celebrating her for who she is! THANK YOU NORTH SHORE!! THANK YOU MS. AMANDA! We recently moved, so we won't be able to attend North Shore this coming season; however, it will always hold a special place in our hearts 💕.
