Was desperately looking for a fine straw hat of the fedora or homburg style for summer wear with a suit for weddings and such, and was having much difficulty in that pursuit. I travel from my northeast Wisconsin neck of the woods to the Milwaukee VA every ten weeks or so, and searched the map for hat shops in the Milwaukee area. Several looked promising, but this shop looked great and is north of the VA on my way home. In this north Milwaukee neighborhood of small businesses and homes, parking is ample right on the street side, and traffic is much more laid back than in the bigger commercial areas downtown. No one cutting anyone off and families in vehicles seems to be the general traffic. Upon walking up to the shop, I could see the owner sitting and actually wearing just the type of hat I was after surrounded by an absolutely stunning array of hats and caps of all types. I knew this was THE place just looking in through the window. Trent is a true gentleman as he greeted my wife and I and really listened to what I was looking for, and instantly had me fitted for the hat I ended up purchasing as well as showing me alternatives and other cold weather hats for later in the year. Mr. Towers maintains his amazing shop clean and tidy with a great organizational layout of a very sizable collection featuring affordable every day headgear up to exquisite high end hats for luxurious formal wear. Sanitary head coverings are provided for fitting to keep everything pristine, and the way he handles his hats it's obvious that he is a hat culture gentleman of the first order. I will be back before fall for another hat or several, and I'm bringing my son, who will find himself in heaven as well. I can't say enough about this fine shop and customer service!
