Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery: what do users think?

Benjamin Greenwood: My boyfriend and I went here back in October and loved it so much we ended up coming back there every other day for coffee. We even took the tour and had a much more fun time than either of us expected. I've been coming to this place on and off for awhile for the never-disappointing coffee courtesy of Anodyne, and I would be quick to recommend this cafe to anyone staying in the Pabst district. Nothing beats the charm of this place.I will keep those memories of our days watching the hands of autumn fall on Milwaukee with him forever in my heart.

Chicago Cameraslinger: Freshest PBR you'll ever have! The tour is packed full of Americana history and Mark was a fantastic guide through it all. Beer just tastes better the more you know about it.The giftshop has every type of souvenir you could want to take home with you, too!

Ming Hwong: We ordered the paella and street ceviche. Highly recommend! Everything was very good and would come back.Don’t sit by the bar, it was very cold as the vent was blowing directly towards the barstools. And the stools were very uncomfortable to sit on.

Mary Kraft: We went here for the first time yesterday. The atmosphere is great and the restaurant is clean. We tried the empanadas - both regular and gluten free. They were excellent, especially accompanied with the delicious sauces. We enjoyed them so much we left with five boxes of frozen empanadas and three bottles of sauce. I can’t wait to introduce more people to this great restaurant.

Complete Weddings + Events: what do users think?

John Doyle: and an even better job at helping curate EXACTLY what the bride and groom wanted for the ceremony and the reception. The dancefloor was packed the whole night. I liked Anthony so much, I grabbed his business card in hopes that he could be the DJ at my own wedding. Unfortunately the venue we got has a strict list of DJ's and if you go outside of that list of reccomended DJ's you have to pay an outrageous upcharge for insurance. If that wasn't the case, we for sure would've hired Anthony for our wedding.

caitlin carlson: We actually hired Complete Weddings for Lights, Coordination, and DJ! Josh was a great DJ who absolutely nailed the music vibes we had. Misty was an awesome day-of Coordinator. She really did a great job of keeping us on schedule, helping with set-up/tear down, and generally just helping everything run smoothly. The lighting added an extra glow to the event and really made the whole thing Sparkle. Thank you again for all your help!

Molly Kok: We had Mario video our special day and he was great! We can’t wait to see the final video but we thoroughly enjoyed working with Mario and the team! Thank you!

Jared Gertz: My wife and I loved working with Misty! She helped make sure our entire day was perfect.

Kate Wulf: Working with DJ Anthony Adams from Complete Weddings Milwaukee was an absolute joy. From the start, he was so open to questions and guiding us through decisions we hadn't even thought of. He created the perfect 70s-meets-pop punk-alt country vibe, and the dance floor was packed all night. Even the seniors wouldn't leave early! On the day of, we had a major issue with another vendor. Anthony kept us running on schedule all night, and our guests loved chatting with him. At least one engaged couple we know of asked for his business card, and we'd recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat.

Nick Schmitz: Anthony was an amazing DJ. Was able to work with last minute changes and everything was flawless. The photographer Nadia was also an amazing photographer. She had so many unique and awesome photo opportunities for us. Amazing service.

Ann Lennart: We have worked with Complete Weddings and Events at our venue, Turner Hall Ballroom Weddings, and it has always gone smoothly. A great team from communication to execution and all things in between. We give them our full recommendation!

Cecelia Grewe: I am a wedding professional in the business and work with Complete Weddings + Events often at my venue. Their team is always very professional and does a great job capturing the unique vibe of each couple. I would recommend this company for your DJ, Photography, Videography, or Photo Booth needs!

Story Hill BKC: what do users think?

Bethany Blount: Quick Update: It's still delicious! I had more restraint than below, but I also came hungrier. They have several delightful crêpe options this season. I wish I could afford to try them all!Absolutely delish! We went for a little brunch and ended up splurging on a three course meal. I made the joke when ordering dessert that I would have to be wheeled out of the restaurant. It was all so good though that my willpower abandoned me. I would highly recommend!

Dave Dunn: Last two times I have gone here I have had bad food. Fried chicken livers way over done, and beef shank was dry and tough, variable were under cooked to he point of being raw. And last time I went somehow my bill came out to $168. I had drinks and bought cocktails mix to go, but just seemed like too much after I thought about it. Not sure if I trust restaurant manger, seemed to be playing around with the bill.

Bel: I had a delicious cup of coffee and ordered the following: Mushroom and spinach waffle. Bread pudding waffle with mushroom duxelle, broccolini, salad, feta, truffle oil, poached eggs and smoked shallot marmalade. Looks great....however, my waffle was burned and BLACK on the bottom. Also one egg was hard in the center, not poached. Not inedible, but it could have been an amazing dish if they hadn't plated the burned waffle. The accompanying salad had a very good dressing....love breakfast with some salad on the plate. Great atmosphere and service. I'll be back.

Mader's Restaurant: what do users think?

Stephanie: I came here with my boyfriend from out of town. We were seated promptly. We had our pics taken by Nick the friendly Valet gent. Our server was mediocre. We were surprised that bread wasn't a staple and we had an upcharge of 2.00 for the 🥨 pretzel bread when the dinner plates were 40 bucks a person. We went here bc it was rated high and we are both of Hermanic descent. I am second generation half Bavarian and Austrian -Irish, while my sweetie is Swiss Irish. Our server could have been more outgoing. But the food, atmosphere, and the greeter and valet were otherwise top notch. We would recommend this destination resteraunt fir sure when in Milwaukee for sure!Parking: We had the sauerbraten and red cabbage. It is outstanding. Paid meter pking or paid valet plenty of pking.

Эрик А: Got to skip school while on a trip to this restaurant. Didn't even try any dishes. Freakin' love this place.Update: the waitress is kinda a hottie ngl.I've arrived again, THE WAITRESS IS FIRE!!! I recommend it to everyone.

Ellen Breithaupt: I started with liver dumpling soup, which was delicious, & much to my surprise my granddaughter loved it! I then had salmon from the “lighter side” of the menu, it was delicious, perfectly prepared & served atop red bell pepper flavored spaetzle. My granddaughter said her chicken fingers & fries were the best she’s ever had!Our major letdown was the Apple strudel. Mader’s desserts have been wonderful in the past. This wasn’t! It was apples wrapped up in phyllo

Dave Maier: The long hallway in the back of the restaurant has pictures of all the celebrities that have dined there. Pretty fun to look at.I HIGHLY recommend Maders

The associate at the entrance briefs us about the rules and the regulations to not touch the vehicles or seat on them. Service is friendly, the tunes are chill, the food is fantastic without requiring formality or pretense and my fav part is that they are dog friendly. The fact that I can sit and chow on oysters, crab, lobster and premium fresh fish outside with a cocktail and my dog makes me about as happy as one can get.

Sitting at the bar and watching the staff enjoy their work only added to the overall experience. The cocktails are crafted and delicious. You won't be disappointed!

Our group had the BELTCH, the Wulfundido, the two egg breakfast, and the pancakes. Everything was absolutely incredible. The coffee was also great, and we had fun watching the barista do his magic -- he was amazing. Wait staff were kind, efficient, and attentive.
