Tutor Doctor Waukesha County South: what do users think?

Kris Newman: Tutor Doctors is professional, supportive and an excellent source for academic support. As a teacher, it is fulfilling to see students reach goals and apply themselves to learning. Having the agency to depend on for the paperwork and connections has been invaluable! I highly recommend this company as an employer and as a source for academic support.

Sheri Pape: We have used Tutor Doctor for the last year to support our high schooler in math. The company is easy to communicate with and offered us a list of possible tutors to match our need. We chose Seth, and we are so happy we did! Not only did he teach the material in an relatable way, he was supportive and kind! Highly recommend Tutor Doctor and their all-star tutor, Seth!!!!!

Dennis Rogers: Rade is an outstanding person to work with to find the best tutor for your child's needs and way of learning. Her quick response to all my inquires have been outstanding. I find Rade's professionalism a pleasure to experience in todays lack luster of customer service.

Leslie Rather: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueMy daughter has been using Tutor Doctor now for 2 months. She really finds value in being able to review her work with a professional who is very knowledgeable in her areas of study. Her tutor is very professional, kind and passionate about his work and it shows in his teaching. I would highly recommend Tutor Doctor.

NMS Race: Positive:Professionalism,QualityWe started using Tutor Doctor this year and couldn't be happier. My daughter looks forward to her sessions with Nick. He always come prepared and is extremely friendly and professional. I would recommend this organization to anyone looking to enhance their child's learning experience.

kristin komassa: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueWe immediatly saw a positive change in our Daughter's school work once she started working with her tutor! Highly recommend any parent who is looking for a tutor to check out Tutor Doctor!

seth boese: Tutor dotor does a great job of selecting a specific tutor that would best fit a student's needs. In addition, the friendliness, focus, and care that they have towards families that need help further displays their emphasis on helping those in need. Working as a tutor for tutor doctor helped me see this importance in each session, where under the guidance of Amy and Jamie, I am selected to help these students to the best of my ability.

M G: I've been working for Tutor Doctor since September of 2018, and it has been such a great experience of growth. Amy and Jamie are two incredible women who are focused on bettering students in academics and in life by offering skills such as time management and accountability. They've given me such a great opportunity to grow myself by teaching students material and learning to work with families to determine students strengths and weaknesses to figure out how to be the most efficient and get the most out of our sessions. I'm happy to say I work for Tutor Doctor because they really are a first class company with high standards for their tutors so we can offer the best experience for our students.

Jaclyn H: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueTutor Doctor is a great company to work for! As one of their tutors it is great to have such supportive owners. They do a great job creating matches between the tutors and families to best help the kiddos! I always look forward to getting to work with the great families that use their services!

Amy Gartmann: Positive:QualityKaren has been amazing!! My daughter was struggling with math and now has improved so much. It’s been amazing to watch, thank you!!!

Ami Blatter: We are beyond happy with Tutor Doctors!! Our son was at the end of kindergarten when COVID hit. With my husband and I both working full-time it was beyond a struggle to help with virtual learning and an absolute disaster for our 6 year old. We noticed a decline almost immediately across all subjects and I was frantic! The first 5 years of school are the most critical! We did some research and decided to go with Tutor Doctors. Our son has been working with his tutor, Karen, since October and has already made an extraordinary turn around. I am blown away by how far he has come in such little time. We have even received feed back from his first grade teacher about the progress he has achieved in such a short time. We truly could not be happier!

Sarah Ward: My second grade son was struggling with writing and was well below where he should have been. We were getting worried that he would fall behind in other areas given that writing is such an integral component to all subjects. We met with Jamie early in 2019 and after meeting my son she had a tutor in mind right away, she nailed it on the first try! It has been very convenient to have Garret come to our house for tutoring sessions. I can make dinner and my other kids can entertain themselves at home. Garret has been able to customize and adapt his teaching for my son as time has gone on and he brings a variety of options of exercises to choose from and give variety. Garret has taught my son different strategies to get all of his great ideas down on paper. He has come a long way with his writing and now in 3rd grade completing homework and writing exercises are not the big ordeal they had been. We are nearing the end of our tutoring sessions and while my son is sad he will not be working with Garret, the tutoring helped him get to the point where he does not need it anymore. If we have tutoring needs in the future for any of our kids, we will definitely go back to the Tutor Doctor Waukesha County South.

Patrick Moore: Maddie is an excellent, committed tutor for our son. I'm impressed with her commitment at every session to make sure he's grasping the math material. Most importantly she is working with us as a family to hold our son accountable for his work and improving in the subjects that she tutors.

Garret and Katie Schmidt: My experience with Tutor Doctor has been nothing short of amazing! I love working with kids of all ages and Amy and Jamie found a perfect family for me. I've been tutoring for about a month and the impact on the students I work with has been phenomenal! Their parents are very happy with how well they've responded. I'm already getting new families and can't wait to see what 2019 will bring!

Debbie Shiroda: My daughter loves the independence she has with meeting one-on-one with her tutor and we love the individualized attention focused on her specific needs. Everyone we have worked with has been great!

Traci D: We used a block of hours during the school year for 2 kids. Jamie found us great tutors and our tutors we very professional and timely. It worked better than I thought. The tutor also helped provide some real life examples for our teen...above and beyond. We really bonded with our tutors.

Mary Blessing: Amy and Jamie are very professional. We needed a tutor for our freshman for Algrebra. They matched us, our tutor contacted us right away. My son has had four sessions and is already improving. It's so convenient to have the tutor come to our home!! I can make dinner while he is working with our son. Our son looks forward to the tutor coming. I would recommend Tutor Doctor of Waukesha.

Jenny Van Frachen: Tutor Doctor has been a wonderful addition of help to our family. The entire process has been seamless and has made a difference in our son's grades. Our tutor, Zach, has surpassed our expectations and has become a great mentor. I would highly recommend Jamie and everyone else that we've worked with.

Michael Stone: Amazing work! Very professional and we couldn’t be any happier!

Dawn Lehman: Tutor Doctor was extremely efficient in finding the perfect tutors for my son. I only regret not contacting them sooner.

Milwaukee Montessori School: what do users think?

Mona Reppa: MMS is an excellent school. Both of our children have attended the school since 4th grade and will graduate this year in 8th grade. The teachers are amazing. They give so much of their time, care, and expertise to their students. They really go above and beyond. The administration really cares about the kids and puts in a lot of effort to have a strong learning environment. They select and support teachers who are passionate about teaching, and have created an organization that is innovative and responsive to the changing needs of education. They have stayed ahead of technology trends and develop the academic, social, and emotional skills required to keep up with those trends in the classroom. The community of families is also wonderful. One must just attend an MMS volleyball game to see how this community is so supportive of each other.

Christopher Hahn: Our boys attended Milwaukee Montessori in the school year 2020 to 2021, the school year of Covid. That was their only year due to our move back east to our family. The boys attended third grade and fifth grade respectively. The experience was incredible. The teachers, the curriculum, and the social components all exceeded expectations. There’s no doubt we would’ve stayed at the school had we stayed in the Midwest.

Dania Stachiw-Hietpas: Our daughter started at 18 months and loved it. When she was 4 we moved and decided to give public school a try. We quickly saw a difference, that even our daughter expressed to us. For K5 she went back to MMS and we couldn't be happier!!

Lynn Malec: Fabulous environment where children’s individual and unique academic and social skills can flourish. We joined the MMS in 2020 and are the thrilled to be there!

Tina Mayer: We love Milwaukee Montessori! It’s a great school with wonderful teachers ❤️

Duke Roufus: Milwaukee Montesorri School is the best hands down. The school, staff and community are top notch. The best thing we ever did for our daughter

Carrie Castillo: My husband and I went on numerous tours of daycares and preschools before deciding on MMS for our toddler. We are so happy with our decision. Our son started when he was 18 months, he's learning so much. The staff is welcoming and pleasant.

Nina Tatarowicz: MMS is an outstanding school. We are so grateful to have found it this year to allow our 6 year old daughter to attend in person. Her caring, devoted teachers and staff have been amazing. Our daughter not only has built confidence in her studies, but now finds so much joy in reading and attending school. They are exceptionally organized and responsive in all matters. Thank you MMS!

Clarissa Mankus Ortiz: Our kids attend MMS and are in their toddler program and Children’s House. We have had an incredible experience and absolutely love it there! MMS has a very talented and committed group of teachers and it is truly a special school community! Moving our kids there was the best decision that we made. I would highly recommend their program to other families that are interested in the Montessori method of learning.

cleo alcantara: My daughter transfered to Milwaukee Montessori because her school did not have in person and she went from loving school to hating it.From day one at Milwaukee Montessori she said everyone was welcoming and she looks forward to going to school again. She even eagerly tells me what she worked on and looks forward to studying.

Angela Biscardi: Our family started at MMS this January and the decision to start our daughter back in a toddler program during a global pandemic was not an easy one. But after our multiple visits, and understanding all the COVID protocols we were confident MMS was the right choice for us! We were not wrong, our daughter is thriving in the program, meeting new friends, expanding her vocabulary and has a big smile on her face everyday at drop off! Her teachers are doing an amazing job keeping the line of communication open even though parents are not allowed in classrooms right now. Overall we only have positive feedback regarding our experience with MMS!

Sarah Metzen: We have had children at MMS for almost a decade and our experiences have been overwhelmingly positive! The teachers have all been very open, responsive and supportive. Our children have thrived academically in the Montessori atmosphere, and their art program is out of this world!

Lora Rice: My son has attended MMS since he was 3 years old. Each of his teachers has encouraged his interest and confidence throughout the years. They have been a major part in molding him into the all knowing 13 year old he is today. We are truly grateful for the time and energy his instructors have invested in our son. Thank you!

Susie Leisos: Wonderful school, beautiful classrooms, and excellent teachers. My four and a half year old is reading and her confidence is soaring. I am impressed with their handling of the pandemic. So lucky to have had MMS during this trying year. Lucky to be able to give my child an in person experience while knowing my child is safe.

UWM School of Continuing Education: what do users think?

Anne Siegel: Osher rocks! In preparation for teaching a Zoom class to elementary school children in French, I contacted one of the Osher members and received some specialized tools for moving forward with my project. Her 'tips' helped me lead the virtual class with a minimal amount of missteps. I gained a lot of confidence after working individually with Laurie, as well as attending her regular Zoom tutorials for all Osher members. Love the variety of programs, too!

Gwen Benner: Osher at UWM has provided a plethora of stimulating programs for lifelong learners in a community of fellow students who have become colleagues and good friends.

Priscilla Camilli: I have enjoyed many Osher courses. I especially have gained insightsfrom Paula Friedman''s book discussions and Kathy Johnson's film analyses and other courses. I have also been happy to teach classes on art history.Osher makes retirement fulfilling!

Sue Burwell: There is such a wonderful variety of courses offered, and a great way to spend time learning, especially when we can't be together in -person.

Marvin Wiener: The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UWM is an adult learning extension of UW Milwaukee that has brought learning experiences to many intellectually curious senior citizens in the greater Milwaukee area. It differentiates itself from other adult learning activities by the breadth of topics, the active participation in the organization by over 100 volunteers, the caliber of the presenters, and the continued pursuit of excellence through surveys of members and evaluation of the classes offered. The high caliber of the organization is reflected in its rapid adoption of virtual teaching made necessary by the COVID pandemic. The Institute didn't miss a beat in moving to a virtual platform. It has the technical expertise and member dedication to pull that off almost seamlessly. I'm proud to be a member of an organization that recognize me as an individual and values my input and membership.

Chris Schlosser: The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is a great way to continue to learn new and interesting things - as well as meet other people. They have done a great job of shifting to all online classes during the pandemic. These classes have been a great way to stay in touch and learn while safer at home.

Cindy Harvey: OSHER Classes have kept me sane during the pandemic!Always something to look forward to. Thank you!

Julie I: For me, one of the best parts of retiring was finally getting to start attending classes with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UWM, otherwise known to the members of our chapter as Osher. I've enjoyed getting together with others for lectures and classes about literature, history, science, and more. Even now, when our meetings are via Zoom, the learning and sharing continues. But I'll admit, I'm looking forward to the day that we can meet, travel, eat, and learn together in person again.

Geri Halaska: Osher has been a life saver for me. I've enjoyed the many classes that I signed up for and have met many interesting people and made more friends. Can't wait for things to return to "normal".

Kathy O: Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UWM is OUSTANDING! It offers classes on History, Literature, Art, and even current events. Zoom classes have been offered since the Pandemic arrived along with many other class options. Osher even offers tech classes to learn how to Zoom with a Tech Support Team to offer personalized assistance. You won't regret your decision to become a member!

Tim Peterson: I have learned so much from this place, nothing else like it in SE Wisconsin!!!

Luther Willems: Great facility and staff to help working adults improve their skills! I've enjoyed the classes I have taken here.

MATC IT Computer Support Specialist Program (Oak Creek Campus): what do users think?

Hani Ahmad: Well knowledgeable teachers and staff. I learned a lot from this program and I highly recommend it

khaled Alwadi: wonderful

Alan Ingram: As a techie it was only natural that I fall into IT as a career field. I am very glad I chose MATC to help with that goal. The hands on practice, small class size were high on the list - so was the cost. MATC also had something no other school could offer, the vast array of how I could complete my education. As a full time working family man, spending as little time on campus as possible was of utmost importance. But when I need to report to campus, the wide open parking lots at south campus assure me that i wont be circling the block for 30 minutes or comparing parking rates among several parking structures.

Melanie Sedlar: I like IT because it's always changing and growing. I need that type of challenge in my life and in my career. For me, this program was the best option that both fit my work life balance as well as my pocket book. I feel good about participating in a program that I can afford. I chose MATC because I liked the idea of going to college but did not want to take out expensive loans or commit to a rigorous class schedule. I needed something flexible and MATC felt like a good fit. This program has already helped me in so many ways. I love that I am able to learn at my own pace. So far that has been the most valuable thing about this program. I also like the instructors from this school. They are helpful, friendly, considerate and responsive.

Gabriel Yang: I attend MATC's IT computer support specialist program here and I believe its my preferred campus to go to. The campus is very clean and small and it makes going to this campus a lot easier and accessible than going to the downtown campus. I find getting parking in this area is a lot easier than downtown and since the classes are so small, you can really get closer to the students there and the staff/teachers.

Ryan Fields: I am having a good time learning about all things related to the It world, however, I would recommend only doing in-person classes if possible, as it can be hard to effectively learn the required job skills in a online-only environment.

Beth Rubanka: 2Macs, over 50 PCs, 2 quiet study booths with new laptops available for student use. Very friendly staff.

Layla Almosawi: Helpful 👌👌👌

Brian Baulsir: Wonderful

Jeremy Konetz: I choose the IT computer support program at matc because I feel that the pathways to an associates degree are much more comprehensive and a tiered in such a way where a student can gradually build up the knowledge in IT computer support without being overwhelmed or under cutted in any way. I like IT technology because like the old say goes the whole world runs on IT technology it makes the world go around. The course here at MATC for IT computer support will help with getting the required skills for a job in th IT computer support profession, but also allow me to develop a strong base for take the various certifications including the comptia certification tests. I would tell a prospective student that this program does an excellent job of preparing you for the real world of IT computer support work & taking the required computer support certification tests like the comptia tests from amongst others. Note the south campus is very ergonomically friendly and easy to navigate. It is very easy to navigate the campus.

Jordan Schlax: This program is a great way to get into the IT field. The classes cover everything from basic computer skills to advance understanding concepts. I would recommend this program for someone who is also stretched for time as classes can be done online as well as in person.

S Weddle: Nice facility

Edwina Granados: I am taking courses in Cyber Security at MATC. While in the IT programs at MATC I have also taken many computer support specialist courses. I am taking these courses so I can self support in my role with my employer. This has increased my productivity and made me a more valuable employee. I like the hands on practice within the courses. I can immediately apply these skills in my current work role. I love that you can take these courses on-line.

Sara Mapes: Wonderful school, great professors!

Angela Czerwonka: I Chose MATC IT Support Specialist, because it was cost effective for me. IT Support Helps others with Issues with computers and networking all campus's have new technology so that helps you with hands on activities . So what companies are working with in real life. So its up to date, so you will have experience. You get certificates on your way to your degree so that's more you can put on your resume. Companies like to see this so they will start you off at a higher pay because you have more experience. All the instructors are informative on any questions you have. Staff at all campus's are friendly.
