irene jerving: I went here for elementary school about 10 years ago and it was amazing. I miss it so much and it will always feel like home. I became fully fluent in French over my 6 years there which is so cool and I’m very grateful for all of my previous teachers and everyone who helped me grow up along the way. I definitely recommend sending your child here!

With my husband and I both working full-time it was beyond a struggle to help with virtual learning and an absolute disaster for our 6 year old. We noticed a decline almost immediately across all subjects and I was frantic! The first 5 years of school are the most critical! We did some research and decided to go with Tutor Doctors. Our son has been working with his tutor, Karen, since October and has already made an extraordinary turn around. I am blown away by how far he has come in such little time. Sarah Ward: My second grade son was struggling with writing and was well below where he should have been. We were getting worried that he would fall behind in other areas given that writing is such an integral component to all subjects. We met with Jamie early in 2019 and after meeting my son she had a tutor in mind right away, she nailed it on the first try! It has been very convenient to have Garret come to our house for tutoring sessions. I can make dinner and my other kids can entertain themselves at home. Garret has been able to customize and adapt his teaching for my son as time has gone on and he brings a variety of options of exercises to choose from and give variety. Garret has taught my son different strategies to get all of his great ideas down on paper. He has come a long way with his writing and now in 3rd grade completing homework and writing exercises are not the big ordeal they had been. We are nearing the end of our tutoring sessions and while my son is sad he will not be working with Garret, the tutoring helped him get to the point where he does not need it anymore. If we have tutoring needs in the future for any of our kids, we will definitely go back to the Tutor Doctor Waukesha County South.
Patrick Moore: Maddie is an excellent, committed tutor for our son. I'm impressed with her commitment at every session to make sure he's grasping the math material. Most importantly she is working with us as a family to hold our son accountable for his work and improving in the subjects that she tutors.

Mona Reppa: MMS is an excellent school. Both of our children have attended the school since 4th grade and will graduate this year in 8th grade. The teachers are amazing. They give so much of their time, care, and expertise to their students. They really go above and beyond. The administration really cares about the kids and puts in a lot of effort to have a strong learning environment. They select and support teachers who are passionate about teaching, and have created an organization that is innovative and responsive to the changing needs of education. They have stayed ahead of technology trends and develop the academic, social, and emotional skills required to keep up with those trends in the classroom. The community of families is also wonderful. One must just attend an MMS volleyball game to see how this community is so supportive of each other.
Christopher Hahn: Our boys attended Milwaukee Montessori in the school year 2020 to 2021, the school year of Covid. That was their only year due to our move back east to our family. The boys attended third grade and fifth grade respectively. The experience was incredible. The teachers, the curriculum, and the social components all exceeded expectations. There’s no doubt we would’ve stayed at the school had we stayed in the Midwest.

But after our multiple visits, and understanding all the COVID protocols we were confident MMS was the right choice for us! We were not wrong, our daughter is thriving in the program, meeting new friends, expanding her vocabulary and has a big smile on her face everyday at drop off! Her teachers are doing an amazing job keeping the line of communication open even though parents are not allowed in classrooms right now. Anne Siegel: Osher rocks! In preparation for teaching a Zoom class to elementary school children in French, I contacted one of the Osher members and received some specialized tools for moving forward with my project. Her 'tips' helped me lead the virtual class with a minimal amount of missteps. I gained a lot of confidence after working individually with Laurie, as well as attending her regular Zoom tutorials for all Osher members. Love the variety of programs, too!
Gwen Benner: Osher at UWM has provided a plethora of stimulating programs for lifelong learners in a community of fellow students who have become colleagues and good friends.
Priscilla Camilli: I have enjoyed many Osher courses. I especially have gained insightsfrom Paula Friedman''s book discussions and Kathy Johnson's film analyses and other courses. I have also been happy to teach classes on art history.Osher makes retirement fulfilling!

Marvin Wiener: The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UWM is an adult learning extension of UW Milwaukee that has brought learning experiences to many intellectually curious senior citizens in the greater Milwaukee area. It differentiates itself from other adult learning activities by the breadth of topics, the active participation in the organization by over 100 volunteers, the caliber of the presenters, and the continued pursuit of excellence through surveys of members and evaluation of the classes offered. The high caliber of the organization is reflected in its rapid adoption of virtual teaching made necessary by the COVID pandemic. The Institute didn't miss a beat in moving to a virtual platform. It has the technical expertise and member dedication to pull that off almost seamlessly. I'm proud to be a member of an organization that recognize me as an individual and values my input and membership.
Chris Schlosser: The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is a great way to continue to learn new and interesting things - as well as meet other people. They have done a great job of shifting to all online classes during the pandemic. These classes have been a great way to stay in touch and learn while safer at home.

Julie I: For me, one of the best parts of retiring was finally getting to start attending classes with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UWM, otherwise known to the members of our chapter as Osher. I've enjoyed getting together with others for lectures and classes about literature, history, science, and more. Even now, when our meetings are via Zoom, the learning and sharing continues. But I'll admit, I'm looking forward to the day that we can meet, travel, eat, and learn together in person again.

Alan Ingram: As a techie it was only natural that I fall into IT as a career field. I am very glad I chose MATC to help with that goal. The hands on practice, small class size were high on the list - so was the cost. MATC also had something no other school could offer, the vast array of how I could complete my education. As a full time working family man, spending as little time on campus as possible was of utmost importance. But when I need to report to campus, the wide open parking lots at south campus assure me that i wont be circling the block for 30 minutes or comparing parking rates among several parking structures.
Melanie Sedlar: I like IT because it's always changing and growing. I need that type of challenge in my life and in my career. For me, this program was the best option that both fit my work life balance as well as my pocket book. I feel good about participating in a program that I can afford. I chose MATC because I liked the idea of going to college but did not want to take out expensive loans or commit to a rigorous class schedule. I needed something flexible and MATC felt like a good fit. This program has already helped me in so many ways. I love that I am able to learn at my own pace. So far that has been the most valuable thing about this program. I also like the instructors from this school. They are helpful, friendly, considerate and responsive.
Gabriel Yang: I attend MATC's IT computer support specialist program here and I believe its my preferred campus to go to. The campus is very clean and small and it makes going to this campus a lot easier and accessible than going to the downtown campus. I find getting parking in this area is a lot easier than downtown and since the classes are so small, you can really get closer to the students there and the staff/teachers.
Ryan Fields: I am having a good time learning about all things related to the It world, however, I would recommend only doing in-person classes if possible, as it can be hard to effectively learn the required job skills in a online-only environment.

Jeremy Konetz: I choose the IT computer support program at matc because I feel that the pathways to an associates degree are much more comprehensive and a tiered in such a way where a student can gradually build up the knowledge in IT computer support without being overwhelmed or under cutted in any way. I like IT technology because like the old say goes the whole world runs on IT technology it makes the world go around. The course here at MATC for IT computer support will help with getting the required skills for a job in th IT computer support profession, but also allow me to develop a strong base for take the various certifications including the comptia certification tests. I would tell a prospective student that this program does an excellent job of preparing you for the real world of IT computer support work & taking the required computer support certification tests like the comptia tests from amongst others. Note the south campus is very ergonomically friendly and easy to navigate. It is very easy to navigate the campus.
Jordan Schlax: This program is a great way to get into the IT field. The classes cover everything from basic computer skills to advance understanding concepts. I would recommend this program for someone who is also stretched for time as classes can be done online as well as in person.

I am taking these courses so I can self support in my role with my employer. This has increased my productivity and made me a more valuable employee. I like the hands on practice within the courses. I can immediately apply these skills in my current work role. I love that you can take these courses on-line.

IT Support Helps others with Issues with computers and networking all campus's have new technology so that helps you with hands on activities . So what companies are working with in real life. So its up to date, so you will have experience. You get certificates on your way to your degree so that's more you can put on your resume. Companies like to see this so they will start you off at a higher pay because you have more experience. All the instructors are informative on any questions you have. Staff at all campus's are friendly.
