Harbor House: what do users think?

Jessica: I live in the far north suburbs in Illinois and sometimes visit the Harbor House when I'm in the area. I have tried a few different entrees and plan on ordering a different dish each visit.Their Crispy Pork Belly appetizer is delicious. There's a nice, satisfying crunch to the pork belly skin and the meat itself is tender. The Hudson Canyon Sea Scallops entree comes with four perfectly seared sea scallops thoughtfully accompanied with salmon roe, which makes the flavors come together and pop – both literally and metaphorically. I've also had the Rainbow Trout entree, which was very fresh. It's refreshing to see that Harbor House offers two kinds of lobster rolls: Main-Style and Connecticut-Style. I prefer Connecticut-Style, so that's what I ordered at Harbor House. The kitchen is generous with the amount of lobster meat. The toasted Brioche bun is so good you can eat it on its own. I don't think Harbor House uses Maine lobster, but I wish they do because Maine lobster is still hands down by far the best tasting lobster because of it's naturally sweet flavor profile.Customer service at Harbor House is also outstanding. The hostess is always very friendly. Even though we didn't exchange eye contact as I was leaving the restaurant, the hostess wished me a good evening, which led me to turn around and wish her the same.I wasn't sure whether to rate the Harbor House 4 or 5 stars because the food is overly salty. The heavy salt content reacts with the acidity of some of their dishes and made my mouth tingle. That's my only issue with the food at Harbor House, but it doesn't really stop me from visiting again when I'm in the area. 5 stars anyway.

Marilyn Markowski: Замечательные впечатления, отличная еда и отличный сервисПарковка: Камердинер очень разумен, они очень бережно относятся к вашему автомобилю.

Carson's Prime Steaks & Famous Barbecue of Milwaukee: what do users think?

FlyByNight: . The romaine is crispy and fresh. Croutons and dressing must be made in house. The croutons are fresh, the dressing is tasteful and creamy but not overwhelming. The service

Canice G: 1st timer! I was drawn to this place based on a recommendation for a good salad. We arrived around 9 pm on a Sunday as a party of two, just before their 10 pm closing time. The restaurant's mature decor exuded sophisticated, 'grown and sexy' vibes.Ray, our server, was outstanding. Prompt, knowledgeable about the menu, and charming, he made our experience memorable.Following Ray's suggestion, I started with the crab cake, which was good but not the best I've had--still, I'd rate it an 8/10. For my main course, I opted for the blackened chicken Caesar salad, with an addition of cucumbers, although they were missing from the plate. Despite this, the salad was phenomenal, earning a solid 10/10.To top off our evening, we indulged in a phenomenal key lime pie to-go, which was simply divine--another 10/10!Thank you, Carsons, for a delightful evening. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning to explore more of the menu!

Olivia Reed: but absolutely no complaints. All of the staff was working hard, you could tell they enjoyed being there. Again huge shout out to Eddie, he was amazing

Rebecca Linehan: before catching a show at the Riverside. We had reservations for 4:00, but it didn't start getting busy until 5:00/5:30.I ordered the steak kebab, because I thought the portion would be smaller than the cuts of meat that were $20+ more. Well, I still ended up with a lot leftovers. Portions are generous, and everything tasted great. The coleslaw that comes with the meal was really good; finely chopped and creamy. Our server was kind and attentive.Total bill for 3 with full entrees and 2 drinks each was $315. They do automatically add a 18% gratuity onto the check, but do a good job of making sure you know it.Everything was great! We'll be back.

Therese Berglund: and brought the one thing I was missing. Very kind and above and beyond. I loved the fact that you can see how things changed over the years, but it was very up to date. We had a very nice time

Levi Kohlmann: The food is good. The atmosphere is a classic. The staff is always friendly and helpful. One of my favorite places in town.I only wish they were open 24 hours a day like the sign says. There's nowhere to go on the East Side after 10pm anymore. I miss that immensely.Vegetarian options: My partner is vegetarian, and they're always able to find something without much difficulty.Parking: Street meter parking and a few paid garages before 7pm. Free street parking after 7pm.

Sofia B.: Chicken and waffles were good, only thing chicken was a little over cooked. Sons skillet was goodParking: Lot is really small, and you gotta find parking on street gotta pay.Kid-friendliness: Menu crayons,

Kegel's Inn: what do users think?

Steve G: . I found Kegel's Inn was easy to work with, had straightforward package pricing and invoicing

Amanda A: to split with a side spaetzle. Honestly the spaetzle may be the best I've ever had it was delicious. Our server also recommended the carrot cake and we were so glad that we listened because it was so divine. Service was amazing - got in shortly before 6pm with minimal wait and our server was very attentive.

Jose Tolentino: did a GREAT job advising us on our entire order; he was VERY knowledgeable, personable, wonderfully good-humored and very efficient/professional! Loved the cozy Old World ambience of Kegel's: brought back fond memories of my trip to Germany back in the 80s to Munich, Frankfort, and Rothenberg! It really was like dining in a true German Inn!! I would definitely come back to Kegel's!!!

Faith Friedrich: Enjoy their fish fry and beef Sauer braten. Chicken sausage is good too. Average dollar amount for restaurants. Professional employees. There is outdoor dining too.Kid-friendliness: Child friendly indoor dining is safest as restaurant is on a busy street.

Lisa Moore: Old world charm found in this 4 generations owned restaurant featuring authentic German cuisine. You'll find all the favorites here of pork shank, rouladen, sauerbraten, spaetzl to name a few. Half sized portions are offered for 3 of the favorites for smaller appetites. Friendly servers and delicious food. Lovely hand painted murals decorate the walls and classical music is played during dinner

Stephanie Kuenzli: Eh. Overpriced food with slow wait service. Wasn't very impressed. The sun streaming into the dining room made it uncomfortably warm as well. My kitty bitty $5 salad was laughable. The perks were the outdoor live music in the Biergarten and the bartender. After we were done with our dinner, the outdoor area was very refreshing, the music was awesome and the tender behind the bar was very prompt and friendly.Doubt I'll go back for dinner, but I'll definitely come back for the Biergarten.

Mader's Restaurant: what do users think?

Stephanie: I came here with my boyfriend from out of town. We were seated promptly. We had our pics taken by Nick the friendly Valet gent. Our server was mediocre. We were surprised that bread wasn't a staple and we had an upcharge of 2.00 for the 🥨 pretzel bread when the dinner plates were 40 bucks a person. We went here bc it was rated high and we are both of Hermanic descent. I am second generation half Bavarian and Austrian -Irish, while my sweetie is Swiss Irish. Our server could have been more outgoing. But the food, atmosphere, and the greeter and valet were otherwise top notch. We would recommend this destination resteraunt fir sure when in Milwaukee for sure!Parking: We had the sauerbraten and red cabbage. It is outstanding. Paid meter pking or paid valet plenty of pking.

Эрик А: Got to skip school while on a trip to this restaurant. Didn't even try any dishes. Freakin' love this place.Update: the waitress is kinda a hottie ngl.I've arrived again, THE WAITRESS IS FIRE!!! I recommend it to everyone.

Ellen Breithaupt: I started with liver dumpling soup, which was delicious, & much to my surprise my granddaughter loved it! I then had salmon from the “lighter side” of the menu, it was delicious, perfectly prepared & served atop red bell pepper flavored spaetzle. My granddaughter said her chicken fingers & fries were the best she’s ever had!Our major letdown was the Apple strudel. Mader’s desserts have been wonderful in the past. This wasn’t! It was apples wrapped up in phyllo

Dave Maier: The long hallway in the back of the restaurant has pictures of all the celebrities that have dined there. Pretty fun to look at.I HIGHLY recommend Maders

Maggie Wampole: Kid-friendliness: My kids enjoyed the provided board games while we waited for our lunch!Recommended dishes Soup, Chop …

Kaylee Bozarth: Recommended dishes Key Lime Pie, Fish Fry

Byron Duran: First time there, loved it! The shrimp tacos were so good! The staff was very polite. Very inviting!Parking: Parking is available and freeKid-friendliness: It is a restaurant with a bar, so be mindful, I guess!Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, concrete leads the way!

Patrick T: , Barnacle Bud’s is trying their hand at creating a Wisconsin supper club experience for a time-limited engagement this winter - and they’ve done a very respectable job for their first effort. Space is very limited - the restaurant has maybe 10 small tables - and all visits must be reserved in advance via their website. Situated on the Kinnikinnic River near E Becher Street and tucked behind a maze of industrial buildings, it’s not the easiest restaurant to find for the first time. Your navigational persistence is paid off with an unassuming waterfront spot decorated inside and out with festive holiday lighting. When we walked in the door

Kelly Price: We went for Gene's popup supper club and had a great time! The Christmas decor and lights looked great but the food was the star! We had oysters to start that were delicious and so fresh. I tried the lobster bisque followed by scallops with a lemon burre blanc sauce. My BF had the filet and it was the best filet either of us have had! This will be a new holiday tradition if they do it again next year.

Nell McCaffery: Last night, my date and I had fabulous meal at Gene's Supper Club, aka Barnacle Bud's. What a fun concept. It was cozy with a bit of kitschy holiday flair! The food and cocktails were DELICIOUS! We love the mussels, with a bit of heat, the cheese curds that we're freshly fried in homemade same day batter. My filet with mushroom and garlic herb butter and roasted potatoes and asparagus was cooked perfectly for my tastes, medium rare. I had two cocktails, the cranberry Tom Collins and the Sidecar. The Sidecar was my favorite, but both were tasty! If you can, snag a reservation for this fun pop-up event!

Have been here several times and absolutely LOVE this place. The lamb kafta is the best I’ve had in the Milwaukee area. Moist, tender and bursting with flavor! The Mediterranean salad is ELITE. Their non-alcoholic drinks are also delicious.Janet was our server the first time we went and this last time. She is absolutely awesome and gives the best recommendations for foods to try! She’s very attentive and has they best calm energy and vibe. Shout out to Janet!!Can’t wait to go back!!!

Santino's Little Italy: what do users think?

John Reddersen: Everything was really good, except the arancini, which was just OK. The rice was overcooked to the point that it tasted pretty much like fried breaded cheese. All the pizzas, including the gluten free one were delicious. The gluten free pasta carbonara a friend got was amazing. I would never have guessed it was gluten free. They also have a great Amaro selection for after dinner and the espresso was also very good.Dietary restrictions: The gluten free carbonara, garlic pizza, and chocolate cake were delicious and this is from someone who doesn't need to eat gluten free trying them from a friend who does.

Ross: was even behind the bar taking a personal interest in his business which I loved. Overall excellent experience, will be definitely coming back.

Karla Martinez: Everything was super good , but the tiramisu was amazingRecommended dishes Calamari Fritti, Gigante Meatball Plate, Bianco Pizza …

Tony Hilbert: amazing. Just the leftover crust from the pizza is better than the entire pizza at most places. Santo and Greg

Dee O'Neill: The pizza was delicious. Crust had a great chew & crunch from the wood fire oven. Thin crust. Toppings were - just enough. The calamari was good, and the bruscetta was scrumptious.I can't say enough about the kindness of the staff, over the top!The atmosphere is cozy. Take your loved one or a first date. You'll be going back. It'll be a favorite, trust me.Be certain to make reservations. There are 2 small steps to get into the restaurant. I did not see another way in for wheelchairs. There is street parking.

Dale Baker: Ate here tonight for the first time with my son and daughter and it was an amazing experience from the moment we walked in the door. We were greeted immediately by a hostess, and as we were being seated one of the two owners walked over to greet us and shook our hands as well. Our server, Tom, was amazing. Very engaging, explained the specials in detail down to the ingredients used to make each plate and answered our questions about other dishes and made recommendations to us. He was beyond friendly, worked very efficiently around us and visited our table at least 5 times during our dinner experience. The food….5 Stars on each item we ordered and we shared two desserts that were equally amazing as the food. On our way out the second owner was at the front, thanked us for coming in, asked us about our service and the food and was super friendly as we discussed their background and when they first opened up the restaurant.I will certainly be back and I will bring and recommend this place to all my family and friends.Thank you Santinos Little Italy for a wonderful experience.

Amy Evans Coldwell Banker Realty: Great delicious and amazing service best restaurant in Milwaukee. The food is amazing. You’ve got to make a reservation and have amazing food the Milwaukee Cop House’s own select aged steak. Yummy!! Everything that you order on the menu is fabulous and provides great enjoyment. Have personally dined at Milwaukee Cop House on many occasions this past year and this year too. Great place to have dinner before your Bucks game or other events in Downtown Milwaukee.

James Heitmann: My friend and I booked a last minute reservation for New Years Eve and let me tell you we were NOT disappointed! The restaurant itself really gives you that boogie fantasy. Our server Josue was phenomenal. He really gave us great recommendations on the menu. My friend and I both agreed our filet was the bets we have ever had. The meat was like butter it was so soft and tender. We also did the trio sides which was a great way to try a variety of side dishes. Dessert was also delicious! We had the Carmel cheesecake. We definitely will come back for future events!

Zarletti: what do users think?

Edward Kutz: was terrific all evening, with great timing. All 10 of us we delighted with our meals. Thank you so much for a great evening!

Steve DiGregorio: First time here from out of town, i sat at the bar for dinner as I was dining alone. The bar tender was very friendly, attentive and had some good suggestions on the menu. I ended up starting with the mussels which were excellent, the sauce was great to dip the warm bread in. The Carbonara was good as well, I thought the portion size was good, in house made pasta, cooked slightly al denté which is exactly how it should be. Very nice. The wine selection is good, with plenty of great Italian wines to choose from, and even wines by the glass had a nice selection. It was a pleasant experience. I will be back.

Mern: Zarletti’s is always food prepared well. Two criticisms exist each time I visit. First is that presented with specials of the day prices should be included or expressed by the server. A diner shouldn’t have to ask. It’s uncomfortable for all concerned and unnecessary. The second relates to GF. Having a GF option available for pasta is very nice. But a $4 addition to the price for something that is not preferential but necessary is a slap in the face even if they do make their own. It says “we don’t really want to do it, but if you insist we will.” As GF pasta is never worth the calories, the added cost makes this menu option easy to pass up.Unfortunately then secondo options as backup are minimal. Having eaten my way around Italy I am aware that flour is not necessary to this portion of an Italian meal. And yet it is at Zarletti’s. Having to eat GF, and having eaten here four times, I have tried all that is possible with two of those choices being specials. Eating the special of the day can possibly be GF but with prices not listed, there’s a 50/50 chance of being costly and prohibitive so the check can be a surprise if you don’t ask the uncomfortable and obvious question. What is bothersome though is that many of the secondo options could easily be GF as would exist in Italy but there is no desire to make it so. So what remains is a sense that GF is not welcome. When all is considered, Zarletti’s is great food. If you’re GF and plan to eat here often your dining options are limited and possibly more costly.Atmosphere rec’d 3 stars because the music is too loud for the small space and the selection doesn’t add to ambiance but is rather an annoyance.
