Daync Studio: what do users think?

Muhammad Abdulaziz: Lovely group of instructors, They support and always push you to do better.

Kelly R: The atmosphere is fun and inclusive. The socials are very good

Jason Lau: What are you waiting for?? JOIN and START your salsa/bachata journey!!! The affordable first month deal makes it easy to try and you don't need a partner! You rotate and meet everyone anyways which is my favorite part! Everyone has their own unique feel and touch and that's what makes it fun.Whether you are a total beginner or have danced before, you will find fun, engaging classes to learn combos or further solidify fundamentals.Aside from the classes, you will also find a vibrant community of people from all walks of life who are passionate about dance and growing together.I am sad to be leaving Milwaukee, but I am so grateful to have found my people, as well as myself, at this studio. I hope you will too. Best wishes!

Katherine Frances M. Wilson: Josh and Amber have done an excellent job supporting the Latin dance community in Milwaukee. Daync Academy is a great spot to social dance. The floor was smooth, the room stayed cool the entire time, and people were so nice.

Blu Jo: Excellent teachers! Grand time attending the social.

ejk2911: They don't really focus on technique. Just a bunch of turn patterns. At the end of the class everyone is usually doing their own thing. But it's nice that they teach a lot of dance patterns. Most places are stingy with turn patterns.

Zoraida Salcedo: Great music, great people, love to the art of dancing, great ventilation.People that come really love to dance and the ambience is awesome. Love not having to deal with drunk people——I love going to Daync, the space is awesome, very well ventilated, the good to dance is super comfortable. The DJs they bring are really good, super great music. They have built an amazing community, super safe to dance and the level is great. The performances they bring are breath taking.I wish they were closer and I was able to go more often.

Leslie Gibbs: Nice space, great space for a nice gathering of up to 80 people

Nestor Murillo: The instructors care about you and your dance journey. Highly recommend if you want to learn bachata or salsa!

Jose Carrasco: Friendly environment, a lot of practice and effective repetition. I always have fun and time flies!

Rebecca Augustine: This is our night we look forward to weekly! We love the "family " of wonderful and supportive friends that we have made here all while gaining a skill and appreciation for Latin dance from Josh and Amber. They are so patient, kind and give clear and concise dance instruction mixed with lots of humor! Such an outstanding approach and it makes Daync studio the best studio we have ever studied through!

Brittany Kramer: would recommend

Agatha Petrulis: about Danceworks. He even suggested the 50+ classes which are very beginner - something I would have never thought of. Thanks so much Daniel! Love the passion!!

Kavita Tawadarre: As I am into singing and dance, my kathak friend who is a kathak artistic director introduced me to Danceworks. a vibrant dance studio located in heart of milwaukee downtown. As i am relatively new to other non Bollywood dance forms, I was eager to explore the magic of movements, workouts and rhythms. Overall welcoming atmosphere, the expertise of the instructors, and the exhilarating dance class I attended is just amazing. This place is definitely the best place for kids to learn and grow in dance art form. Highly recommended place and good wishes to the team

Mark Haleen: Great

Wendy Habermehl: Great venue, saved seating, sweet staff.

Mira Gnepper: Great place! Went for thier Saturday Kpop workshop and had an absolute blast. I'm an out of shape non dancer taking my first baby steps into it all and the instructor was so nice. The class was super low pressure with an emphasis on having fun and enjoying the dance. Would definitely recommend👍

sarah martinez: Fun class. Great instructor who gave time and attention to each pair in the group.

Fred Astaire Dance Studios - Milwaukee: what do users think?

Cassie Cosgrove: My fiancé and I took father/daughter and mother/son dance lessons here. We did two 40 minutes lessons back to back and time flew by. I wasn’t sure what to expect but we had a ton of fun. Our instructors Natalie and Sodo were phenomenal. They went at our pace, taught us a few styles of dance, and then worked on applying some of that to the songs we had picked up. I highly recommend coming here if you are looking for lessons for a wedding dance!

Kelly Schad: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueMy fiance and I began dance lessons for our wedding at Fred Astaire. We have found the lessons to be exciting, professional and a great activity for our date nights. The staff at FA are welcoming, friendly and energetic. We'll be continuing with the dances, social parties and hopefully, competitions.

Barbara Collignon: I've been a student at the Milwaukee studio for 10 years now and have enjoyed lessons, parties, balls and competitions. I can honestly say that the last 10 years have been among the most fun of my life-- thanks to the wonderful professional teachers at FADS!

Edward Burr: My last 2 years at Fred Astaire have been a dream! I started dancing kind of as a joke. I was traveling to Brazil for my friends wedding and thought I'd learn to Samba in a couple months to prepare. What I found was an energetic and supportive community of like-minded individuals. Positive, supportive, and understanding. And that's just the other students. The instructors are even better. You will not regret your time here. You will feel uncomfortable but you will get past it and on the other side is an unparalleled sense of confidence. And you'll look great doing it!

Timothy Wade: but also interact with the staff. The staff is fun to work with and they keep you focused on whatever dance or routine you are doing. I would recommend going to Fred Astaire because learning the dances and routines will keep you fit and get to interact with staff that enjoy what they do and wants you to have as much fun as they do.

Kate Lorenz: Dancing at Fred Astaire of Milwaukee is more than dancing. It's like a wonderful party every time I walk through the door. Wonderful teachers and staff. Amazing fellow students who have become dear friends. And invigorating learning that is good for brain and body, all while smiling from ear to ear throughout each lesson. I walk out tired but very, very happy!

Tracy Kaebisch: . We'll be taking a break for a while but will probably be back soon.Overall, highly recommend if you like to dance or want to learn!

Judith Fritz: If I could share the most important experience, although there are and have been many that have come from FADS Milwaukee, is that I couldn't have chosen more qualified and wonderful teachers/instructors and staff to help make come true my passion for dance. Everyone shares a passion and dedication for dance and they pass their gift and talent down to each and every student. You can't help but feel the Joy and enthusiasm when you walk in the studio. At FADS Milwaukee I have met so many wonderful people, all who have and are accomplishing so much having come to this studio.

Rachel Kass: We have been having an amazing time and learning so many things. We started at once a week and now love it so much we are in 4 times a week :D Shout out to our amazing coaches Brandon and Jade and the rest of the FADS crew who have made us feel right at home.

scott bicknell: Very professional and enjoyable place. All the staff know are a pleasure to be aroundNo matter how mood you are in when you arrive you always leave feeling happy

Mark Phillips: I feel free when I dance! There's nothing like dancing to a piece o music that you love. The staff is wonderful and the owner is awesome. As long as my Wife continues to smile, I'll be good with it! I Love our studio & instructors! This has been an amazing journey thus far.

Dana Phillips: Me and my husband came to learn one dance and 7 years later we are still dancing. Ballroom dancing is truly an art. Our instructors make learning the art of ballroom dancing fun and fulfilling. Dancing has given us so many wonderful memories. And the is staff is the best .

BillWFranksjr0909: It is always a pleasure to go to dance practice! Michelle is always so nice and always gets exactly what you need. The talent there is simply amazing! The instructions are not only very pleasant to talk with, but they are the best dancers in the US! It is my honest pleasure to be part of this "family"

Justin Cramer: . They are patient and will work as a team to ensure that concepts, patterns and choreography is understood. They have enabled me and my wife to compete nationally against other amateurs. They have trained others to compete on the professional level. But the most important thing is that they keep it fun so you keep coming back for the challenge.

She has helped me recover from several surgeries quickly and with care.Delaware House also has a beautiful dance studio with lessons for all abilities, private personal training, clinical skin care treatments and many other holistic treatments that are available. I've used several of these services and love them all!

Assorted Titles: I have taken dance lessons at Delaware House with Martin Cawston for about 5 years. It is a welcoming establishment that gives the community of Bayview the feel of friendliness and good old fashioned neighborhood warmth. Taking ballroom lessons with Martin allows me to develop my passion for dance, Delaware House also offers many other wellness services, massage, fitness, various classes and physical therapy. Certainly an asset to a small neighborhood one can enjoy being a part of.

Liz T: Love coming here for Salsa lessons! Betsy and Matt are a great team/couple and very easy to follow their instructions. Highly recommend!

Eric Helland: My wife and I have been taking ballroom dance lessons from Melissa and Martin for quite a few years and they are just wonderful. The entire building offers a wide variety of holistic and standard treatments for the body, mind and spirit.

Jenna Kuhn: I got hooked on salsa dancing after attending one of the First Friday Salsa Socials. I started taking classes with Matt and Betsy soon after, and have been visiting the Delaware House on a weekly basis for classes ever since! It's a very clean, open, and well maintained facility with a wide variety of services. I come up from Racine each week, and I know of others who come from out of town as well to take advantage of all the Delaware House has to offer. I highly recommend checking it out!

Caitlyn Preisler: Delaware House is a fun and inclusive place to learn to dance. The Friday night socials at the Delaware house are a blast!

Alba E. Calderon: I see Laura at the Deleware House for massage and she is a master at her craft. She stays informed on upcoming methods in massage therapy and has really worked with me while tending minor injuries from running, biking and swimming.

Pat McCarville: My first visit was a salsa dancing social, open to the public. I had never danced salsa before. It was a very fun experience. The studio was clean and modern, and the staff was kind, curious, and professional. It was a great value.

darla helland: My husband and I take ballroom classes here and have a great time. You can do private lessons or group classes. If you're not into dance they have a trainer to work on getting/keeping you in shape, yoga for the inner you, massage therapy if you over did it, acupuncture, physical therapy and an aesthetist to make sure you look your best. It touches on all aspects of wellbeing.

Molly Havin’fun: Awesome place to take dance classes!

North Shore Dance Studio: what do users think?

Loretta: Finally got to try this and we had a blast. It sure was more of a work out than I thought!

Jill Kohli: We can’t say enough good things about NSDS! Our daughter has not only developed confidence in herself but also has formed lifelong bonds with her dance teammates. NSDS cultivates a safe, supportive and fun environment for kids to grow through dance and be themselves in. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a top notch program for any level and in any genre of dance!

Patricia Ellis: I previously left a review with North Shore Dance Studio when my daughter first started. I am writing another review. If I could give more than 5 stars I WOULD!!! The Studio itself provides a calm and friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in. My daughter and my family were always greeted with genuine smiles. I LOVED her dance teacher, Amanda. She always spoke LIFE into my daughter. When I was worried about not following directions, Amanda always praised her for how well she did. The proof was in the pudding. The season recital was awesome! My daughter and her class performed beautifully. Other parents and students were always very kind as well. When you are a parent of color with a child of color, one of your concerns are, "Will my child be treated kindly? Will they be marginalized? Or will they be accepted?" North Shore was amazing at not only welcoming my baby , but speaking life into her and celebrating her for who she is! THANK YOU NORTH SHORE!! THANK YOU MS. AMANDA! We recently moved, so we won't be able to attend North Shore this coming season; however, it will always hold a special place in our hearts 💕.

Sandy Rodriguez: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismWe are so happy and grateful for this dance studio. Our daughter loves it and they even offered classes via Zoom during the pandemic.

Lisbeth Heilmann: Positive:Professionalism,QualityOur daughters have been dancing at North Shore Dance Studio for years and love it there. Their best friends are from the dance studio and they're learning and growing in ways more than just dance. The teachers are professional and wonderful!

Whit Halvorsen: Great studio. We’re very happy we decided to send our daughter here. She loves it, has made great friends, and is learning so much.

Evan McGuire: Great experience

Milwaukee Ballet Company: what do users think?

Sandi Landowski: Modified classes for children with disabilities. Absolutely fabulous program for all abilities.

Mariana Wagner: Let me paint you a picture—imagine an evening where every pirouette tells a story and every note from the orchestra resonates with your soul. That was our unforgettable experience at the Milwaukee Ballet's recent rendition of Dracula. As a parent, it's a proud moment when you see your son on stage. Remi Wagner, who's part of MBII, didn't just perform—he lived through all three acts. The gleam in his eyes and the commitment in his every move were a testament to the brilliant training he has received at the Milwaukee Ballet. The choreography, masterfully designed by Michael Pink, was nothing short of magnificent. It was as if the dancers were paintbrushes, and the stage was their canvas. The fluid moves, coupled with the eerie, yet captivating storyline, made the choreography both gorgeous and creepy. It's a paradox that only a genius like Michael Pink could pull off.And can we talk about the costumes and set design? Stunning doesn't even begin to describe it. Imagine stepping into a world that's hauntingly beautiful, where every thread, every prop, and every piece of scenery builds on the story's dark allure. The orchestra, ah! They were the invisible narrators, bringing Bram Stoker's tale to life. The music was so in tune with the narrative that you could close your eyes and still feel the story progress, heightening every emotion and capturing the essence of each scene.Saving the best for last—Davit Hovhannisyan as Dracula. To say his performance was mesmerizing would be an understatement. This was Davit's final career performance, and oh, what a way to cap off an illustrious journey! His portrayal was a masterclass, capturing the torment and charisma of Dracula with sublime elegance. If I could give this performance more than five stars, I would. It was an evening that left us spellbound, drawing us into its dark, fantastical world, and releasing us back into reality only after the curtains closed. Catch it if you can, folks. It's not just a ballet; it's a storytelling masterpiece.Bravo, Milwaukee Ballet. Bravo!

Scott Ponath: Really nice facility

Jeff Stehley: Experienced Genesis. It was amazing. Beautiful facility and the staff were wonderful. Cant wait to return.

David Boman: The program was the every other year choreography competition and was at the small Baumgartner Center and not at the PAC. We have been season ticket holders for over 20 years. The choreography and the dancers performance was amongst the best ever for the years we have attended the competition. Enjoyed the intimacy of the Baumgartner Center. At my being just over six feet tall the amount of leg room was inadequate combined with no arm room between seats, it was constricting. The program was on a shorter side and I was physically quite uncomfortable by the end. That being said I do look forward to more performances there, but only for shorter programs.

Ryan Landowski: My daughter who was born with Spina Bifida takes an adaptive Ballet class. She loves and adores everyone who teaches the class as well the friends she made in the past few years. 5⭐ all the way .Thank you Milwaukee Ballet for thinking about the ones who may not be able to walk ... or that aren't verbal. Thank you for making my daughter feel like everyone else even if it's for a few weeks out of the year !!!!!!!!!!

Darolyn Jedrzejczak: Wonderful to see a live performance

Heidi Sjostrom: Sparkling 40 minute version of the Nutcracker! I'll play the online recording for my granddaughter!

Young Dance Academy, Inc.: what do users think?

Val Gengler: I started dancing in my 40’s. 15 years later and I’m still having the time of my life. Sandy and all the teachers at Young Dance support, encourage and celebrate adult dancers no matter their skill level. It’s a great place to strengthen your body, your mind and your confidence.

Keriann Krause: I went here as a kid and now sending my daughter here. Such a great dance studio!

Raelyn Cornell: My girls love attending dance class and were always greeted with a smile. My daughter had no fear getting up on stage and I think it has to do with all the prepping the teachers coach the girls on.YDA'S recitals and dances are always top notch and ones you want to watch over and over again. They really embrace the girls' talent and push them because the teachers know what they know they're capable of!

I grew up dancing at Young Dance and was hopeful that my daughter would continue growing up in the dance world, and more importantly, continue at YDA. She has been dancing here since the age of 4 and can't get enough. The instructors are amazing at what they do and they make great role models for young dancers. Thank you YDA for everything!

Anita's Dance Center: what do users think?

Renelle P.: Granddaughter loves it...and the staff has been nothing but wonderful!

Leighann Lovely: My daughter started going to Anita’s almost a year ago and loves it!! She starts asking when she can go back the day after class. Highly recommended, the dance instructor are amazing and the other kids are so respectful.

Lisa Borkoski: Our daughter has been dancing here since she was 5 years old and absolutely loves it. She had made many friends, enjoys all the different types of dance styles and even had the opportunity to visit NY recently! Her teachers are amazing and Ms. Anita is simply the best.

Sara Studt: We started at Anita’s last year. I signed my daughter up for Princess Dance camp week to see if she would like the dance world! She LOVED it! We signed her up and had Miss Anastasia for ballet/tap. Miss Anastasia was absolutely amazing, she built up my daughter’s confidence at just 4 years old! My daughter left dance class so happy and excited to be dancing and would come home and dance to just about anything! We did the Nutcracker and that was her first recital and it went great. She wasn’t scared at all. Summer recitals were even better! Seeing my daughter grow in dance and grow in confidence makes me feel so happy! Having other teachers recognize your daughter and get so excited to see her just as much as she is to see them is also something that makes me feel like we chose the right place! We are into our 2nd year and it’s going just as well! Costumes are outstanding and beautiful! Mrs Anita is always so welcoming and wanting to talk to all the parents to get to know them and the dancers!

supreetnagi: Really nice place, good and friendly teacher. This is one place that’s not all about money.

Dave Birkle: Both of our daughter's LOVED Anita's Dance Studio. Now that we are grandparents we will taking are 2 granddaughters to Anita's. Such a great experience!

N. L.: Excellent Dance center. Daughter thoroughly enjoys the classes. Chairs for waiting while your child attends a class are nice and comfortable. Would recommend to any parents whose children are interested in dance.

Cameron Kappl: We are second generation students at Anita's Dance Center. My sister was a student from 1994 - 2006. I have two daughters that began dancing in 2010 & 2013. Anita and her staff are awesome and very professional. Dance is a very expensive hobby and the prices at Anita's are very reasonable. The studio is very spacious, clean and well decorated. Recitals are very professionally done and every year there are many opportunities to perform including the Nutcracker, Friends & Family Show, Charity Show, as well as the regular recitals, parades and sporting events. Anita's also has a world class competition team that competes around the country that both my daughters are members. If you have a child that wants to dance...Anita's Dance Center is the place to go. We love it!!

Susan Luther-Sutton: My daughter danced at Anita's for 15 years. She was very happy there, made many life long friends and became an amazing dancer.

Emerita De Leon: Positive:Professionalism

Sara O'Connor: We love Anita's! All of my girls have enjoyed their classes and the teachers are great!

Luz Rivera: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueAmazing Dance Studio! My daughters love coming every week to dance and be part of the amazing recitals. Friendly front desk ladies Mrs Anita is amazing!

Dance Tracks LLC: what do users think?

Sara Le Gear: I am taking hip-hop jazz classes with Amanda. I am loving them so far. she is a great teacher . The class is definitely for all ages! Sooo much fun

Sarah Neilson: I absolutely love Dancetracks! They offer classes for all ages and ability levels, and the spring recital is fantastic. In the 29 years since I began dancing, it is my favorite studio. The quality of instruction rivals that of much larger schools while the small class sizes allow for excellent individualized instruction. Within my first few weeks my teacher was able to hone in on mistakes in my technique that had gone unnoticed my entire life, and made corrections while maintaining a fun, low-pressure atmosphere. I also love that I am able to participate in the end-of-the-year recital; it has been difficult to find a studio that offers this to their adult students. I had missed performing, and having that goal to work toward makes the weekly classes even more enjoyable. In addition, I am thrilled to attend a studio where both my young daughter and I can dance, and I never have to worry about her being pressured into inappropriate costumes, music, or choreography. She had previously been at a great ballet studio for three years but it was no longer a good fit for her; she was not enjoying herself and wanted to quit. Last year we discovered Dancetracks and after her first lesson she was excited about dance again and having a blast! She is now constantly dancing around the house and displaying a joy in movement that she never had before.

Amber Pennington: I took the leap into dance at Dance Tracks at 26 and I loved it even more than I could have known! Hard to believe I have been dancing for 6 years now!Dance Tracks provides dance classes for all ages/levels and has a great adult presence as well, which is awesome. I particularly enjoy the focus on technique, but in a non-pressured environment. The annual dance recital is outstanding and such a great opportunity to enjoy performing what you have learned and improved during the year.

Virgo Organics: This is by far my favorite Dance Studio! The instructors are amazing and very well educated on ALL styles of dance! I've never felt so comfortable taking dance classes until I joined this studio. I wanted to personally Thank you Dance Tracks for all your hard work and for doing what you do...it REALLY has improved my health and overall wellbeing in every way possible. ❤

Krista Smith: Started dancing here in 2015 as an adult with only four previous classes. These people are amazing. Welcoming, helpful you truly feel like your a part of a big family. If your an adult and you've always wanted to dance this is your place. The year end recital is a blast.

Andrew Krupp: I've had an excellent experience with Dance Tracks. After taking dance for the first time at age 29 my instructor was friendly, firm, and flexible in adapting to my skill level. As I expanded to other classes/types of dance, I learned that the other teachers were also very talented professionals who took their work seriously, yet love to have fun. I've also had the privilege of assisting in stage management during recital time and witnessed how well the teachers worked with/instructed children of younger ages. As a school psychologist I was impressed with how well the teachers' instruction helped these kids develop gross motor skills while enhancing their cognitive abilities and focus. I would recommend Dance Tracks to any parent or individual who wants to learn dance and be a part of an amazing creative studio.

Jerusha Schmitz: I've been a part of this studio since I was three years old, and it's like no other studio around. If you want to learn proper dance technique while having a blast then this is where you should be. Not to mention the rooms overflowing with props and set pieces for students to use. Every summer show has a unique theme and it's so much fun being a part of it. It's a family-oriented and judgement free place where kids and adults alike can learn to dance together without feeling self-conscious. There's nothing more you could ask for!!

Monique Buerger: This is a great program that grows you in more then one area. Great instructors, nurturing and knowledgeable. Great facility. They have a fantastic year end show that is like no other! Excellent place to dance!!

Laura Rogers: I absolutely love Dance Tracks! Everyone is welcome. There are lots of different dance options for all ages and abilities. The teachers are well trained and they truly care about their students. My daughter enjoys it because it is just fun! No pressure to be perfect. It's a wonderful way to allow your children to learn the art of dance without any criticism.
