Danceworks, Inc.: what do users think?

Brittany Kramer: would recommend

Agatha Petrulis: about Danceworks. He even suggested the 50+ classes which are very beginner - something I would have never thought of. Thanks so much Daniel! Love the passion!!

Kavita Tawadarre: As I am into singing and dance, my kathak friend who is a kathak artistic director introduced me to Danceworks. a vibrant dance studio located in heart of milwaukee downtown. As i am relatively new to other non Bollywood dance forms, I was eager to explore the magic of movements, workouts and rhythms. Overall welcoming atmosphere, the expertise of the instructors, and the exhilarating dance class I attended is just amazing. This place is definitely the best place for kids to learn and grow in dance art form. Highly recommended place and good wishes to the team

Mark Haleen: Great

Wendy Habermehl: Great venue, saved seating, sweet staff.

Mira Gnepper: Great place! Went for thier Saturday Kpop workshop and had an absolute blast. I'm an out of shape non dancer taking my first baby steps into it all and the instructor was so nice. The class was super low pressure with an emphasis on having fun and enjoying the dance. Would definitely recommend👍

sarah martinez: Fun class. Great instructor who gave time and attention to each pair in the group.

Fred Astaire Dance Studios - Milwaukee: what do users think?

Cassie Cosgrove: My fiancé and I took father/daughter and mother/son dance lessons here. We did two 40 minutes lessons back to back and time flew by. I wasn’t sure what to expect but we had a ton of fun. Our instructors Natalie and Sodo were phenomenal. They went at our pace, taught us a few styles of dance, and then worked on applying some of that to the songs we had picked up. I highly recommend coming here if you are looking for lessons for a wedding dance!

Kelly Schad: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueMy fiance and I began dance lessons for our wedding at Fred Astaire. We have found the lessons to be exciting, professional and a great activity for our date nights. The staff at FA are welcoming, friendly and energetic. We'll be continuing with the dances, social parties and hopefully, competitions.

Barbara Collignon: I've been a student at the Milwaukee studio for 10 years now and have enjoyed lessons, parties, balls and competitions. I can honestly say that the last 10 years have been among the most fun of my life-- thanks to the wonderful professional teachers at FADS!

Edward Burr: My last 2 years at Fred Astaire have been a dream! I started dancing kind of as a joke. I was traveling to Brazil for my friends wedding and thought I'd learn to Samba in a couple months to prepare. What I found was an energetic and supportive community of like-minded individuals. Positive, supportive, and understanding. And that's just the other students. The instructors are even better. You will not regret your time here. You will feel uncomfortable but you will get past it and on the other side is an unparalleled sense of confidence. And you'll look great doing it!

Timothy Wade: but also interact with the staff. The staff is fun to work with and they keep you focused on whatever dance or routine you are doing. I would recommend going to Fred Astaire because learning the dances and routines will keep you fit and get to interact with staff that enjoy what they do and wants you to have as much fun as they do.

Kate Lorenz: Dancing at Fred Astaire of Milwaukee is more than dancing. It's like a wonderful party every time I walk through the door. Wonderful teachers and staff. Amazing fellow students who have become dear friends. And invigorating learning that is good for brain and body, all while smiling from ear to ear throughout each lesson. I walk out tired but very, very happy!

Tracy Kaebisch: . We'll be taking a break for a while but will probably be back soon.Overall, highly recommend if you like to dance or want to learn!

Judith Fritz: If I could share the most important experience, although there are and have been many that have come from FADS Milwaukee, is that I couldn't have chosen more qualified and wonderful teachers/instructors and staff to help make come true my passion for dance. Everyone shares a passion and dedication for dance and they pass their gift and talent down to each and every student. You can't help but feel the Joy and enthusiasm when you walk in the studio. At FADS Milwaukee I have met so many wonderful people, all who have and are accomplishing so much having come to this studio.

Rachel Kass: We have been having an amazing time and learning so many things. We started at once a week and now love it so much we are in 4 times a week :D Shout out to our amazing coaches Brandon and Jade and the rest of the FADS crew who have made us feel right at home.

scott bicknell: Very professional and enjoyable place. All the staff know are a pleasure to be aroundNo matter how mood you are in when you arrive you always leave feeling happy

Mark Phillips: I feel free when I dance! There's nothing like dancing to a piece o music that you love. The staff is wonderful and the owner is awesome. As long as my Wife continues to smile, I'll be good with it! I Love our studio & instructors! This has been an amazing journey thus far.

Dana Phillips: Me and my husband came to learn one dance and 7 years later we are still dancing. Ballroom dancing is truly an art. Our instructors make learning the art of ballroom dancing fun and fulfilling. Dancing has given us so many wonderful memories. And the is staff is the best .

BillWFranksjr0909: It is always a pleasure to go to dance practice! Michelle is always so nice and always gets exactly what you need. The talent there is simply amazing! The instructions are not only very pleasant to talk with, but they are the best dancers in the US! It is my honest pleasure to be part of this "family"

Justin Cramer: . They are patient and will work as a team to ensure that concepts, patterns and choreography is understood. They have enabled me and my wife to compete nationally against other amateurs. They have trained others to compete on the professional level. But the most important thing is that they keep it fun so you keep coming back for the challenge.

Milwaukee Ballet Company: what do users think?

Sandi Landowski: Modified classes for children with disabilities. Absolutely fabulous program for all abilities.

Mariana Wagner: Let me paint you a picture—imagine an evening where every pirouette tells a story and every note from the orchestra resonates with your soul. That was our unforgettable experience at the Milwaukee Ballet's recent rendition of Dracula. As a parent, it's a proud moment when you see your son on stage. Remi Wagner, who's part of MBII, didn't just perform—he lived through all three acts. The gleam in his eyes and the commitment in his every move were a testament to the brilliant training he has received at the Milwaukee Ballet. The choreography, masterfully designed by Michael Pink, was nothing short of magnificent. It was as if the dancers were paintbrushes, and the stage was their canvas. The fluid moves, coupled with the eerie, yet captivating storyline, made the choreography both gorgeous and creepy. It's a paradox that only a genius like Michael Pink could pull off.And can we talk about the costumes and set design? Stunning doesn't even begin to describe it. Imagine stepping into a world that's hauntingly beautiful, where every thread, every prop, and every piece of scenery builds on the story's dark allure. The orchestra, ah! They were the invisible narrators, bringing Bram Stoker's tale to life. The music was so in tune with the narrative that you could close your eyes and still feel the story progress, heightening every emotion and capturing the essence of each scene.Saving the best for last—Davit Hovhannisyan as Dracula. To say his performance was mesmerizing would be an understatement. This was Davit's final career performance, and oh, what a way to cap off an illustrious journey! His portrayal was a masterclass, capturing the torment and charisma of Dracula with sublime elegance. If I could give this performance more than five stars, I would. It was an evening that left us spellbound, drawing us into its dark, fantastical world, and releasing us back into reality only after the curtains closed. Catch it if you can, folks. It's not just a ballet; it's a storytelling masterpiece.Bravo, Milwaukee Ballet. Bravo!

Scott Ponath: Really nice facility

Jeff Stehley: Experienced Genesis. It was amazing. Beautiful facility and the staff were wonderful. Cant wait to return.

David Boman: The program was the every other year choreography competition and was at the small Baumgartner Center and not at the PAC. We have been season ticket holders for over 20 years. The choreography and the dancers performance was amongst the best ever for the years we have attended the competition. Enjoyed the intimacy of the Baumgartner Center. At my being just over six feet tall the amount of leg room was inadequate combined with no arm room between seats, it was constricting. The program was on a shorter side and I was physically quite uncomfortable by the end. That being said I do look forward to more performances there, but only for shorter programs.

Ryan Landowski: My daughter who was born with Spina Bifida takes an adaptive Ballet class. She loves and adores everyone who teaches the class as well the friends she made in the past few years. 5⭐ all the way .Thank you Milwaukee Ballet for thinking about the ones who may not be able to walk ... or that aren't verbal. Thank you for making my daughter feel like everyone else even if it's for a few weeks out of the year !!!!!!!!!!

Darolyn Jedrzejczak: Wonderful to see a live performance

Heidi Sjostrom: Sparkling 40 minute version of the Nutcracker! I'll play the online recording for my granddaughter!

Kelly R: The atmosphere is fun and inclusive. The socials are very good

Jason Lau: What are you waiting for?? JOIN and START your salsa/bachata journey!!! The affordable first month deal makes it easy to try and you don't need a partner! You rotate and meet everyone anyways which is my favorite part! Everyone has their own unique feel and touch and that's what makes it fun.Whether you are a total beginner or have danced before, you will find fun, engaging classes to learn combos or further solidify fundamentals.Aside from the classes, you will also find a vibrant community of people from all walks of life who are passionate about dance and growing together.I am sad to be leaving Milwaukee, but I am so grateful to have found my people, as well as myself, at this studio. I hope you will too. Best wishes!

Katherine Frances M. Wilson: Josh and Amber have done an excellent job supporting the Latin dance community in Milwaukee. Daync Academy is a great spot to social dance. The floor was smooth, the room stayed cool the entire time, and people were so nice.

Blu Jo: Excellent teachers! Grand time attending the social.

ejk2911: They don't really focus on technique. Just a bunch of turn patterns. At the end of the class everyone is usually doing their own thing. But it's nice that they teach a lot of dance patterns. Most places are stingy with turn patterns.

Zoraida Salcedo: Great music, great people, love to the art of dancing, great ventilation.People that come really love to dance and the ambience is awesome. Love not having to deal with drunk people——I love going to Daync, the space is awesome, very well ventilated, the good to dance is super comfortable. The DJs they bring are really good, super great music. They have built an amazing community, super safe to dance and the level is great. The performances they bring are breath taking.I wish they were closer and I was able to go more often.

Leslie Gibbs: Nice space, great space for a nice gathering of up to 80 people

Nestor Murillo: The instructors care about you and your dance journey. Highly recommend if you want to learn bachata or salsa!

Jose Carrasco: Friendly environment, a lot of practice and effective repetition. I always have fun and time flies!

Rebecca Augustine: This is our night we look forward to weekly! We love the "family " of wonderful and supportive friends that we have made here all while gaining a skill and appreciation for Latin dance from Josh and Amber. They are so patient, kind and give clear and concise dance instruction mixed with lots of humor! Such an outstanding approach and it makes Daync studio the best studio we have ever studied through!

Next Step Dance Studio: what do users think?

Stacy Hilgendorf: Love the adult cardio barre class! Have lots of fun and a great work out. Dancing through the decades with new music and routines each week has been fabulous 👍🏼

Annie Drake: I take the adult ballet barre/stretch class and absolutely love it. You don’t need to have any ballet experience to take the class, but experienced dancers can still benefit from the slow movements to focus on technique and strengthening. My flexibility has improved already. Jacqueline creates a positive and empowering environment for all abilities and body types. You will work up a sweat but leave feeling relaxed. I highly recommend this class!

Amanda McGraw: as everyone just needs a moment to decompress!!Thank you next step, I love my experience!!

Janise Janikowski: We LOVE Next Step! The teachers are so kind and patient with my hyper girl. The facility is always clean and welcoming. Always a smile when you walk in the door. So very happy we found this place for our daughter.

Rebecca anderson: Absolutely fabulous. The teachers are kind, patient, and engaging for even the littlest dancers. My daughter comes smiling out of each class. There is a solid routine but also new activities to work on different skills. I'm very impressed by the thoughtful consideration put into each class. Very worth it!

Jill Seiberlich: daughter started taking dance classes this September. We were both so warmly welcomed by the Next Step staff and I was impressed by all of the covid safety precautions they have in place! My daughter asks me every day if it's dance class day because she loves going to Next Step so much! Highly recommend!

Molly Michel: - the dance instruction has always been excellent and fun. It's clear the staff cares for the students, and has a high standard for the instruction, the studio environment and what they want each student to take away from class. Our kids are learning discipline, responsibility, confidence and teamwork, not just dance. Additionally, the studio has handled the Covid situation with care and grace and maintained strict procedures for safety that we greatly appreciate.

Dehnel Petre: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueExceptional dance studio! My daughter has been dancing there for 7 years and loves it!

Katie Young: Our daughter loves Next Step! She has been going since the mommy and me class and is now in ballet and tap! This has truly helped her come out of her shell, be more comfortable and confident around kids and adults and follow instruction. She has found a passion for ballet and I love watching her light up when it’s class day!

Sarah Glisson: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityMy daughter tried out a free class and loved it so we decided to start classes this fall and she loves it! She looks forward to going every week. They do an amazing job keeping up with safety procedures during COVID. Definitely recommend.

Jeremy Hilgendorf: The most professional and positive studio in the area. Recitals are amazing. No need to look anywhere else.

Laura Gengler: My daughter has been taking lessons at NSDS for 4+ years and we have had a great experience. She loves Ms. Terri and has had wonderful teachers! We started at only 18 months old with a Mommy & Me class and I think they do a great job at keeping class fun and interesting for the littlest dancers!

Beglan Academy of Irish Dance: what do users think?

Melissa Kate: Sean Beglan is not only an amazing dance teacher, but also an incredible mentor. His positivity and encouragement has helped to transform my children in a way that has allowed them to not only develop new confidence as dancers, but also as individuals; something that will last well after the dance shoes have been retired. His ability to help his students positively navigate through successes as well as disappointments is truly wonderful.Sean perfectly balances keeping my dancers competition ready, with challenging technique and exciting choreography, while also finding ways to keep things fun.Our non competition, performance opportunities have also been so much fun!The support, friendships and memories we have experienced at Beglan are things that will remain with our family for a lifetime. Absolute A + school.

Amy Krier: My daughters have been dancing at Beglan for over 7 years. They have taken different paths competitively and they have both felt very supported and encouraged by their teachers, as well as the older dancers. We have an amazing group of dance friends who have become like family. We look forward to many more adventures and fun times with them!

Christopher Tolbert: Great friendly teachers. My kids love doing Irish dance here. Can't help but to get to know other parents and be welcome to the group.

kelly h: Very positive learning environment with dedicated teachers and wonderful communication!

Sarah OConnor: We signed our son up for beginner lessons at Beglan after receiving a recommendation from a friend whose daughter danced there. Almost 4 years later, we remain big fans of Sean and Beglan Academy! We've been so pleased with our son's teachers and his experiences at this school. He loves Irish dancing and has consistently been supported to improve and go after his goals. I love that Beglan Academy has a supportive and accepting environment.

Bryna Dulmes: 5.0 star ratingWow! I can't think of a better family-owned and inclusive school for my 2 dancers. There's a fantastic parent board that organizes fun social events and welcomes new families with open arms. The top notch instruction and training, led by Sean and Chelsea, both TCRG accredited, is engaging and rigorous, exactly what my dancers want. There is full transparency on schedule changes well in advance, frequent and clear communication, and the opportunities to perform in the Milwaukee community are abundant. We are so pleased with our experience at Beglan, I highly recommend this school to all Irish dancers of all ages in the Milwaukee area!

Aaron Andersen: We moved here recently from another school and couldn't be happier. Sean is supportive but also pushes the dancers to be their best in a way that focuses on growth and makes the experience positive. Our daughter loves dance again. Costs are better than some others and atmosphere is supportive. Definitely recommend this school regardless of level.

Owen Goldin: Our daughter fell in love with Irish dance after watching some young ladies come out and dance at a Chieftains concert. Sean's schedule was full but he was touched by her story, and she began to take lessons at Beglan, with girls much younger than her. She loved the dances and instruction, and, though she was at first well behind, received special attention and encouragement that allowed her to move up quickly, so that now she successfully competes. Our daughter loves the teachers, and we enjoy the welcome extended by the whole Beglan community. This is a wonderful institution.

Melinda Yoder: My daughter has been dancing with Beglan for 4 years now. We have been so happy with the high quality instruction and support she has experienced there from day one to the present. Sean Beglan takes great pride in meeting students' and families' needs. Sean sets a tone of community in his school that is second to none. We can always get questions answered every step of the way. We also love the size of Beglan. It's just the right size so that no dancers get "lost in the crowd" like I've seen in other schools. Our daughter recently said she "loves to challenge herself to do her best". Learning Irish dance at Beglan has been an integral piece of that positive attitude! We highly recommend Beglan Academy of Irish Dance.

Catherine Alioto: I have been at Beglan Academy since 2007 and have loved every year here. I couldn't ask for or dream of better and more motivating instructors. Every single class or private lesson I have attended they both are fully committed to helping me become a better dancer. I choose to spend almost everyday at the studio because it is where I can be myself and where I grow the most as a person. Sean and Chelsea not only have made me the dancer I am today, they teach me incredibly important life lessons. I have learned to lose graciously and Sean always encourages me to wish good luck and congratulations to the other dancers in every competition I attend. He is so welcoming and when moving into a new class or even into the school as a new dancer, Sean helps them feel at home. Chelsea has taught me the value and importance of hard work. With her help I have developed a good work ethic and know that if I want something bad enough I will have work for it. They have both provided me with amazing opportunities such as a trip to Ireland for the Riverdance Summer School. Without their help I know I wouldn't have been able to go or be where I am today. My hard work has payed off and I am now assistant teaching Tuesday and Thursday nights. I get the chance to work with incredible people like Callie, Riva, and Sam. They are amazing role models and I hope to be like them when I am older. However, the people I look up to the most are Sean and Chelsea. They inspire me every day to do my best and I can't imagine better role models than they are. I wouldn't trade my years at Beglan for anything and hope to continue to be a part of the Beglan Academy family forever.

Amanda: but this is not the case at Beglan Academy. My daughter began lessons there around 5 years old and Sean has been there since day one. I see his involvement with all of the classes. This is rare and something I value immensely! Performances range from program recitals, Irish Fest, news shows, to dancing in Irish restaurants/pubs and malls. All of the performances are done with professional quality and yet flexible/light hearted approach that allows the dancers to be confident in a supportive environment. The Flexibility and Understanding: Sean listens to the dancers and the families. If not in the studio instructing, you can find Sean talking with families in the hall ways. There are windows that look in each practice studio for parents to view the instruction and progress of their child. Occasionally Sean invites parents into the studio to give us more insight and give the students an audience. This is one of my favorite parts! After class, if my daughter has something to improve on or has done better on something she can articulate what those things are. This tells me the teachers are communicating these things to her and have her best at mind. Further, I have never felt pressured to sign my child up for competitions or events. There is plenty to be involved in but Sean and the teachers inform the families and leave the amount of commitment up to the family. If we don’t want to take part in a competition or have to miss out on St. Patrick performances

Rob Johnston: We have never experienced a more family like establishment. the costs are in line with on ther schools if not better. Irish dance isn't cheap anywhere you go. Sean is a fantastic role model.

Dynamite Dance Studio: what do users think?

Julia Slater Blotz: Both of our kids have danced with DDS for years, and have loved their experiences! This is an inclusive, responsibly run business with truly knowledgeable teachers. As a parent, I appreciate the focus on communication, and would recommend to anyone entering the dance world at any stage.

Nicole Meyer: Dynamite Dance is by far the most inclusive dance studio in the metro Milwaukee area. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. The owners dedicate their time educating students about the importance of acceptance, being your true self, and do not tolerate any form of bullying. I have never seen a company so dedicated to the wellbeing of all their students who take the time to promote inclusivity in the Menomonee Falls area. This dance studio is committed to each and every child who walks into their doors with open arms and is a true definition of a diverse organization.

Stephanie Beker: Awesome dance studio with so many great programs! They are so organized and detailed with everything from their schedule to rehearsals to picture day! The teachers are also consistent which is so nice! Everyone has been so kind and caring!

Kimberly Landolt: The staff is great!

A Pagan man outdoors: The instructor are great people they pushed the learner's but only to the point they know they can.

RC: Amazing instructors!

mike demming: I took my niece here, and she loved the instructors. She was sore after each class, but she said she had lots of fun.

Andy Fallon (LT Fallon): If your looking for a great Dance Studio look no further. Tess and Tina could not be nicer people. Great place to send your kids!!!
