Erinn Craine: I can’t say enough good things about Aveda IBW. I went to school here as well and everyone is always so kind. I went back recently and Brooke was great. She did a color retouch on me and she was so great at paying attention to detail. And so sweet! Kyle is also fantastic and so helpful. I’ll be back!

Alexa Rodriguez: i went in for another trim a few days later, had another gamma hairstylist that was also very nice and i was happy with her work as i left the salon, but after I got home and showered i realized there were a few sections of my hair that were not symmetrical. one side of my bangs is way way too short and it doesn’t stay down without styling it. I can’t do anything about it now except grow it out unfortunately. besides this, everything is clean , they wash your hair and my trim was free because it was within two weeks of my first appointment. teachers are always checking in on their students, and I can tell many of these people do well with their clients and have a passion for hair styling, but the bangs situation is very upsetting even if it was accidental

Debbie G: When the elevator door opens, and you step into the salon area at IBW, you just know you are somewhere special. The space has the feel of a very busy, high end salon. For a fraction of the cost of the same service in a traditional salon, you can get a well-trained Aveda student, as well as the clinician overseeing their work. You do need to allow extra time for the instructor to visit the station, but it's well worth the wait.

Scott Cherek: Well, it's been over 5 years since I visited VICI for a haircut. There's a spa area and a hair styling area. This is a beauty school - meaning students will be cutting your hair or doing beauty care. They offer many hair care services, cuts, trims, coloring and more. I'm a basic guy, so just a haircut. It costs $13 here. Great deal right! Yes, please remember to tip your stylish OK. Quinn cut my hair, she was friendly, professional, and did what I needed. She said she has a month to go, until graduation and on to other things, like a gig at a salon or studio. The instructors also come by and check the student's work. A great value here! Might take a bit longer with the school setting - but we'll worth it!
Puddies Mom: My daughter who has 4c curly hair long and thick wanted a edgy color for back to school. The student did a fantastic job debulking her thick hair with a super cute layered face framing cut. The color turned out amazing. The student took before pics and afterwards took my daughter outside to take photos of how gorgeous the color turned out. Everyone at my daughters school complimented her on how much they love her hair. Its so fun and cute I just love it and the price was so reasonable!

Lauren Scaletta: I can’t begin to describe how awesome Lash Dolls and their staff are! I’ve been seeing Rebecca and Noel for about 15 months for periods of extensions and also periods of lash lift/tint. They help with consistent consultation and education when I have questions or need to make changes to my routine, like when I bought a house and needed to step back financially for a bit. They’re always flexible and communicative, think of me when they have a cancellation or can move up my appointment, and make it so fun to see them every 2 weeks. I have watched them time and again treat myself and their other customers like welcomed friends. When they take well-deserved time away from work, they always let me know in advance and spend extra hours in the studio around their time off to make sure their clients still have services. They work with me to make sure I continue to love my lashes, let me know when discounts are available, are constantly looking into the newest lash technology/techniques, and are really passionate about what they do. I didn't get a touch-up and I should have.I went to Levics Salon in December and had Maria do my lower eyeliner only.It didn't hurt like it did in Arizona. She numbed it and was fast and gentle.

Fatma Al Araimi: Arch is usually beyond fabulous but my experience today was less than expected. The wax was way too hot and my upper lip burned for a bit more than it usually does. And overall, the process also seemed rushed.But the previous times, when I normally go, my eyebrows turn out amazing and the process is much better. I feel very comfortable throughout and the right questions are asked which is why I do come back.

Tessa B: The store was very pretty and clean. The girl who worked on me was very sweet and gentle with her application. However, I think my color matching for the brow tint ended up much too dark. As a super pale red head getting this done for the first time I was worried about this. I brought my own eyebrow makeup for color matching and she convinced me that the tone could be warmer to match better, which is true. I agreed we could warm the tone if it wouldn't add darkness which I was worried about. It was a little hard to tell in the store lighting just how dark it turned out when she first showed me, as the hair was still a little damp and id not fully washed any dye off my skin. This is day one on the tint so hopefully it really fades much much lighter but I think the color we landed on did not work well for me. I've scrubbed it a couple times and think I may need to get dye remover before my event this weekend. If you are a pale redhead getting this service id maybe recommend getting the palest color available or skipping the tint on your brows.
Candace D: I would never go anywhere else to get my brows done! All the ladies do a wonderful job and take the time to map out the brow shape. First place where the wax hasn't irritated my skin either. They're also my local supplier for Joanna Vargas skin care and also carry a wide variety of other products. From time to time, they host pop-ups of other businesses that are very fun. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great brow wax.
