Joseph Henderson: Capital Grill is always one of my favorites. I love the service but for some reason I have been a little disappointed in their food. This round had lobster bisque and salmon with couscous. The lobster bisque was amazing. The salmon and couscous lacked flavor and salt. I know salt is objective but even when added it lacked other flavors. I am providing a great review because service is always top notch.

Tori Tomlin: Carnevor is an absolute gem for steak lovers! Their steaks are hands down one of the best I've ever tasted. Cooked to perfection, each bite was a delight. Ryan Ludwikowski: We stopped in for a weeknight birthday dinner and were quite impressed. The jambalaya is absolutely AMAZING!! Best I've ever had. I have yet to experience a host, bartender, or server who. Was not 100% friendly, happy, helpful, and fun! I cannot recommend this place enough! In fact, we usually take some extra gumbo to-go after dinner to enjoy for lunch the next day!

Stephanie: I came here with my boyfriend from out of town. We were seated promptly. We had our pics taken by Nick the friendly Valet gent. Our server was mediocre. We were surprised that bread wasn't a staple and we had an upcharge of 2.00 for the 🥨 pretzel bread when the dinner plates were 40 bucks a person. We went here bc it was rated high and we are both of Hermanic descent. I am second generation half Bavarian and Austrian -Irish, while my sweetie is Swiss Irish. Our server could have been more outgoing. But the food, atmosphere,and the greeter and valet were otherwise top notch. We would recommend this destination resteraunt fir sure when in Milwaukee for sure!Parking: We had the sauerbraten and red cabbage. It is outstanding. Paid meter pking or paid valet plenty of pking.

I then had salmon from the “lighter side” of the menu, it was delicious, perfectly prepared & served atop red bell pepper flavored spaetzle.My granddaughter said her chicken fingers & fries were the best she’s ever had!Our major letdown was the Apple strudel. José Francisco Bravo: I found out about Onesto while I was living in Milwaukee for a year. From the very first night it has always been an amazing experience. The servers are always very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The food is absolutely amazing. You can definitely taste the freshness and the quality of the ingredients, the kitchen staff must definitely be passionate about what they create. We recently went for an anniversary dinner, and it was just as amazing as always. Highly recommend if you’re in Milwaukee!

Steve DiGregorio: First time here from out of town, i sat at the bar for dinner as I was dining alone. The bar tender was very friendly, attentive and had some good suggestions on the menu. I ended up starting with the mussels which were excellent, the sauce was great to dip the warm bread in. The Carbonara was good as well, I thought the portion size was good, in house made pasta, cooked slightly al denté which is exactly how it should be. Very nice. The wine selection is good, with plenty of great Italian wines to choose from, and even wines by the glass had a nice selection. It was a pleasant experience. I will be back.
Mern: Zarletti’s is always food prepared well. Two criticisms exist each time I visit. First is that presented with specials of the day prices should be included or expressed by the server. A diner shouldn’t have to ask. It’s uncomfortable for all concerned and unnecessary.The second relates to GF. Having a GF option available for pasta is very nice. But a $4 addition to the price for something that is not preferential but necessary is a slap in the face even if they do make their own. It says “we don’t really want to do it, but if you insist we will.” As GF pasta is never worth the calories, the added cost makes this menu option easy to pass up.Unfortunately then secondo options as backup are minimal. Having eaten my way around Italy I am aware that flour is not necessary to this portion of an Italian meal. And yet it is at Zarletti’s. Having to eat GF, and having eaten here four times, I have tried all that is possible with two of those choices being specials. Eating the special of the day can possibly be GF but with prices not listed, there’s a 50/50 chance of being costly and prohibitive so the check can be a surprise if you don’t ask the uncomfortable and obvious question. What is bothersome though is that many of the secondo options could easily be GF as would exist in Italy but there is no desire to make it so. So what remains is a sense that GF is not welcome.When all is considered, Zarletti’s is great food. If you’re GF and plan to eat here often your dining options are limited and possibly more costly.Atmosphere rec’d 3 stars because the music is too loud for the small space and the selection doesn’t add to ambiance but is rather an annoyance.

Kathryn O'Donnell: I had dinner there tonight. I ordered the lamb carpaccio. It was absolute heaven! I can not wait to go back for this dish and to try everything else on the menu. When I called to make reservations for 1, they saved me a spot at the bar to watch the chefs in action. This restaurant is obsessive. Very excited to check out the wine dinners they are offering.I finally feel like Milwaukee is growing on me after moving here 9 months ago.
Jason: Lots of wood and brick inside. A giant chalkboard of local farms that support the restaurant is displayed over the bar area. Pretty sure everything on the menu is sourced locally, at least that was the impression I got. This really shows in the flavors.Food portions are incredibly generous for the price. This is the spot to go for morel mushrooms if they are in season.Drinks are great. Nice balance of flavors there too. Main course Trout is really fantastic. This was completely deboned, but presented as whole. Hopefully that's how all their fish is served.Dessert fell a bit short compared to the flavor, creativity and ingredients in the starters and mains. Maybe I just picked the wrong one. Would come back.
Michelle Alvarez: and the trout. They managed to make the polenta taste cheesy, and it was super savory. It was the only time I've liked it. The mushrooms served on top were tangy and a perfect pair with the polenta. The trout was very tender and had big flavor. The duck breast and rabbit ragout were also great. I enjoyed the goat cheesecake. I was skeptical because goat cheese can have a strong flavor, but it was perfect. There was a large selection of wine and delicious cocktails. Beautiful interior with lots of warm lighting and artwork. A very welcoming place. I would absolutely return, mostly for that polenta!

The food was incredible, highlights for me being the pork shoulder and beef short rib… cooked to perfection. The goat cheesecake was to die for. Service was top notch. Start to finish it was such an excellent meal and already can’t wait to go back.

Brady Donahue: High end steakhouse that doesn't disappoint. Brooke was knowledgeable and attentive. Started with the seafood tower for 5 of us, plenty of seafood for a starter. Rib cab steaks and filet for the table all were excellent.Beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
Victoria Ruetten: What a phenomenal experience my husband and I had at this gorgeous establishment! Top notch all the way. We had excellent service, were greeted at our table and visited with both the manager DeVante and assistant Kyle along with other staff that assisted with water, etc. Brooke was our waitress, our servers were Eric and Michael; all three could not have been more attentive to our needs, while respecting our privacy. We met Chef Todd and his kitchen crew after the meal to thank them for the wonderful meal. Our food choices did not disappoint, all were cooked to our request and done superbly. I highly recommend Rare Steakhouse Milwaukee!
Erin Gross: , broccolini, and lobster mac. The lobster mac had a generous amount of lobster so I was very happy. For dinner we split their crème brûlée special, which was s'more flavored. Yum! We each also got some espresso because all of that eating had us exhausted.Alex and Devante stopped by the table periodically to chat. We had such a great time making small talk and learning about the establishment. After dinner we explore their library which is full of vintage books. It's hard to choose a highlight to our trip because everything was perfection. We haven't stopped talking about our visit and are recommending everyone try out this top tier steakhouse!!

Morgan S: Stopped in at Braise last night with a friend for the 3-course dinner! You won’t find better ingredients or a better deal. It is truly a one of a kind dining experience and the food is AMAZING—not to mention generously portioned. From start to finish you get a choice between two delicious appetizers, two main course items, and choice between two desserts. This was my second time to Braise and I look forward to coming back. I had the mushroom risotto and highly recommend it. The waitstaff and bartenders are very friendly and add to the overall experience. Perfect for date night with the hubby, or drinks with your girlfriends!
Angela Zuniga: Great service every time we dine in! Perfect date night or even our larger girls nights out are always a hit when we dine at Braise. The waitstaff makes sure we are well taken care of and and is knowledgeable about the food they are serving. They accommodate our many dietary restrictions and the food is always fresh and delicious! Easily the best date night spot in Milwaukee. A must visit.
Liz Fiene: First time having Xiao long bao and I have never had anything like this before! It was my favorite item we tried of the night, would definitely have again if it appeared back on the menu. I love that the ingredients are local and the menu rotates to bring me out of my comfort zone and try new things. Since m still exploring and determining what flavors I like/don’t like, I enjoy that the bartenders can make me something with just some personal input and some questions. I’ve only been here during the winter season but I am looking forward to patio season and I hope they have the patio/rooftop open in addition to their normal seating once summer hits! I just signed up for their tamales cooking class in May and I am looking forward to seeing this side of the restaurant next!
Megan Fiene: I love coming to Braise and eating in the bar area. Their booths and candle lights give a cozy atmosphere and can make a perfect date night. Sit at the bar to enjoy fun conversations and witness Flan and Evan crafting up the amazing cocktails behind the bar. Even if you don’t see a drink on the menu that catches your eyes, they can make anything you are feeling or give them the freedom to surprise you with a “dealers choice” cocktail. We reserved the upstairs room, including the outdoor space that provided a beautiful view of the city.Becky Ayala, the restaurant manager, was a dream to work with. She was responsive to my emails and detail-oriented, which was so helpful during the reception planning process.The beautifully decorated room dazzled guests the moment they arrived at Braise and established the vibe for the rest of the room’s design. We also loved having the outdoor space, which was perfectly decorated, with floral arrangements placed everywhere. We opted for a family-style dinner. Locally sourced seasonal food inspired the menu of Mixed Green Salad, Lemon Risotto, Montreal Chicken and Soy Braised Beef. The food was delicious and the two wedding cocktails, Crazy Dave’s Old Fashioned and Rhubarb Lemonade were wonderful and flavorful. Our waiter, Kira and David, our bartender, were exceptional and on top of everything. The timing of the dishes was efficiently paced to allow sufficient time in between dishes.Everything was superb, and our guests raved about the venue and the food. I cannot recommend Becky and her team highly enough. You will not regret booking your venue in Braise.

We booked out the first floor and the split between cocktails in the bar area and dinner in the dining room was a nice little change of setting. The braised beef, pork buns, and chocolate mouse were hits, guests even took leftovers home. The lemon curd wedding cake made by the pastry chefs was great and beautifully but tastefully decorated. Carmen Garcia Sirera: Amilinda delivers authenticity. There are many restaurants out there claiming culinary uniqueness, but at the end they fall short. Amilinda brings the flavors of Spain and Portugal without creating copycat versions of traditional Iberian Peninsula dishes. All the dishes arw prepared and made to deliver an experience. And thar experience does not end with the amazing dishes. The casual but classy ambience can be experienced from the moment walking in, to sitting in the table or counter for dinner, to the interaction with the wonderful staff. Love coming here not just for special occasions, but anytime we want exceptional food delivered with a wonderful time.
Patricia Gabarra: Delicious as always! I dined in with some friends on Feb 7, 2024. It had been a while, as a don’t live in Milwaukee. Everyone loved their appetizers and enthusiastically shared them - Spanish style. I selected the braised endives and their were delicious and a very light and clever preparation. As much as I love tasty veggies I also like meat. So it was a familiar and comforting choice for me: the pork carcamusa. The serving was generous as usual and the good thing about this dish is that it is just as good if not better as a leftover - YUM. The bartender proposed his Spanish twist on a Mai Tai and it was delicious. Service was friendly and casual and the dining atmosphere can’t be beat if you are looking for charm with a genuine flair of a Mediterranean restaurant. It reminds me of home, Spain, every time. Erika Pedersen: The only pre fee coursed meal I'd experienced before coming to Ardent was Thomas Keller's Per Se.... Let me tell you, this experience at Ardent exceeded every past "elite" dining experience I've had.Each course was well thought out and beautifully executed. Highlights on our menu were the curry carrot cake and the uni onion soup. Each course held an element of surprise and finesse. I asked my boyfriend to take my back here for my birthday. Everyone cross your fingers!!!!
John Ess: Definitely one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at in the world. Every dish was fantastic. The food was very interesting, with innovative ingredients. More importantly, unlike some fine dining restaurants, they made sure that every innovative dish was absolutely delicious. Particularly the koji ice cream with brown rice and caviar, the shiitake rooibos tea, and the madras carrot cake. They also made great substitutions for my pescatarian wife. Excellent beverage pairing as well, and perfect portion sizes. Can't wait to come back!Vegetarian options: They can make a vegetarian tasting menu, with great veggie options.

It was cool to see the kitchen plating and have every dish explained. Highly suggest getting the wine pairing. I have never had a drink paired so well with the food. Bradford Sledge: A thoroughly enjoyable meal before a concert downtown. You have to be comfortable with your chair touching a strangers chair, because the tables are packed in, and all the voices make for a lively, loud atmosphere. Personally I liked it. We started with a caprese salad which was very good. They served good, slightly warmed bread and butter, it comes with the meal but we requested it before the meal and they accommodated us. I had the gnocchi and meatballs which was delicious, my wife had the margarita pizza which was also tasty. Scott V: Omylort was this good.We chose the 7 course tasting with pairing and could not have been more pleased.Of all the dishes the scallop was probably my favorite for one simple reason... I liked it. Normally I will not eat scallops because the texture or flavor or both are a turn off, but not with these. These had enough firmness to not be jell-o-ie, yet still weren't tough. They didn't have a 'dirty' flavor that I often experience, but had a very nice caramel crisp from being seared. Talking to our waiter, it turns out they get them "dry packed" and that maintains the freshness as though straight off the boat.Whatever the reason, WOW.Now for what was my real favorite turned out to be the goose sausage and duck, although personal preference is that the duck be just slightly more cooked, that did not take away from the dish.Every bit of love a chef could put into their profession went into this meal. Were it proper to give a huge to the person that pleased the tastes this well, I'd go back just to give a firm embrace of thanks.Amazing, thank you.

Amy Evans Coldwell Banker Realty: Great delicious and amazing service best restaurant in Milwaukee. The food is amazing. You’ve got to make a reservation and have amazing food the Milwaukee Cop House’s own select aged steak. Yummy!! Everything that you order on the menu is fabulous and provides great enjoyment. Have personally dined at Milwaukee Cop House on many occasions this past year and this year too. Great place to have dinner before your Bucks game or other events in Downtown Milwaukee.
James Heitmann: My friend and I booked a last minute reservation for New Years Eve and let me tell you we were NOT disappointed! The restaurant itself really gives you that boogie fantasy. Our server Josue was phenomenal. He really gave us great recommendations on the menu. My friend and I both agreed our filet was the bets we have ever had. The meat was like butter it was so soft and tender. We also did the trio sides which was a great way to try a variety of side dishes. Dessert was also delicious! We had the Carmel cheesecake. We definitely will come back for future events!

Bethany Blount: Quick Update: It's still delicious! I had more restraint than below, but I also came hungrier. They have several delightful crêpe options this season. I wish I could afford to try them all!Absolutely delish! We went for a little brunch and ended up splurging on a three course meal. I made the joke when ordering dessert that I would have to be wheeled out of the restaurant. It was all so good though that my willpower abandoned me. I would highly recommend!
Dave Dunn: Last two times I have gone here I have had bad food. Fried chicken livers way over done, and beef shank was dry and tough, variable were under cooked to he point of being raw. And last time I went somehow my bill came out to $168. I had drinks and bought cocktails mix to go, but just seemed like too much after I thought about it. Not sure if I trust restaurant manger, seemed to be playing around with the bill.
Bel: I had a delicious cup of coffee and ordered the following: Mushroom and spinach waffle. Bread pudding waffle with mushroom duxelle, broccolini, salad, feta, truffle oil, poached eggs and smoked shallot marmalade. Looks great....however, my waffle was burned and BLACK on the bottom. Also one egg was hard in the center, not poached. Not inedible, but it could have been an amazing dish if they hadn't plated the burned waffle. The accompanying salad had a very good dressing....love breakfast with some salad on the plate. Great atmosphere and service. I'll be back.

John Reddersen: Everything was really good, except the arancini, which was just OK. The rice was overcooked to the point that it tasted pretty much like fried breaded cheese. All the pizzas, including the gluten free one were delicious. The gluten free pasta carbonara a friend got was amazing. I would never have guessed it was gluten free. They also have a great Amaro selection for after dinner and the espresso was also very good.Dietary restrictions: The gluten free carbonara, garlic pizza, and chocolate cake were delicious and this is from someone who doesn't need to eat gluten free trying them from a friend who does.
Ross: was even behind the bar taking a personal interest in his business which I loved. Overall excellent experience, will be definitely coming back.

Dale Baker: Ate here tonight for the first time with my son and daughter and it was an amazing experience from the moment we walked in the door. We were greeted immediately by a hostess, and as we were being seated one of the two owners walked over to greet us and shook our hands as well. Our server, Tom, was amazing. Very engaging, explained the specials in detail down to the ingredients used to make each plate and answered our questions about other dishes and made recommendations to us. He was beyond friendly, worked very efficiently around us and visited our table at least 5 times during our dinner experience. The food….5 Stars on each item we ordered and we shared two desserts that were equally amazing as the food. On our way out the second owner was at the front, thanked us for coming in, asked us about our service and the food and was super friendly as we discussed their background and when they first opened up the restaurant.I will certainly be back and I will bring and recommend this place to all my family and friends.Thank you Santinos Little Italy for a wonderful experience.

Kimberly Knuckles: In Milwaukee for The Blues Fest and what a marvelous time it was. But First we had to put something special on our stomach before the show. Bon Appetit baby!!! We both order the Pesto Salmon and Potatoes, the sides was so plentiful we shared the Sumptuous Wigdor Lobster Mac n cheese and Brussels sprouts, 🔥🔥🔥. We sat in the lounge area enjoying the Piano being played, some really good notes that I knew the song too. It was definitely a nite to Remember. I preferred this because it was quieter and felt more relaxed. The pepperjack mac and cheese was really good, but came out a bit cold. Steak was cooked properly, but was pretty tough for a filet. Served and runner were both polite and not overly conversational, which I appreciated.

WI Biker: The MOTOR bar is one of our favorites, especially when there are Harley Davidson events going on.FoodThe food here has great flavor and the menu does have a dynamic range of specials along with good regular offerings. The cajun chicken sandwich is one of my absolute favorites that I get on a regular basis. It's really good and always well made. The burgers have always been good too so if you are going for beef instead of chicken it's a good choice on that range. Wi Antech: Had Friday night dinner with my family which included 4 children. The area we sat in was large enough to handle our group of 7 where I could interact and talk with everyone. The kids received a drink in a thin plastic cup which was decorated with child friendly HD designs and a cute bendy straw. Their food smelled and looked amazing. Most importantly they finished their two hamburger sliders and most of the fries which were served on frisbees! My fish fry was delicious, the corn bread amazing and coleslaw great. My daughter had the Caesar salad and my son in law the wings. Marah, our waitress was very attentive and on the spot with our requests and interacting with the kids. Great job Marah!! We’ll be back.

Jcg Gee: Went here for the first time yesterday for a family members birthday. Not the best atmosphere at all. The place is kind of dark and the decor is really dated. But the service was great. Majority of The food items we selected to share were really good. The cocktails were amazing as well. I am not a huge fan of sharable plates. But I enjoyed the restaurant.
Jingwen: **Great Spot!** Just came from La Merenda and had to share—what a refreshing change! Even though it was busy, our server made sure everything went smoothly. Food came out surprisingly fast, and every interaction was just pleasant. Really made our night compared to the earlier hassle we had. Thumbs up to La Merenda for nailing it on the service front!
