B P: I been on a goal to get in shape. I started martial arts and have pushed very hard to learn and loose weight. In doing so I have made myself very sore and even hurt myself. I have visited QSPA several times and have worked with Jenny. I believe about 7 visits. I see QSpa as being key in my fitness journey.They helped me when I could barely move after practicing for belt testing and being back from a trip where I was at a water park and running around with my daughter. I do not think I could have made my belt testing without Jennys loosening my muscles after that vacation. I have also gone a couple times before tournaments. I tend to practice the same form and kicks so I can really overuse particular muscles. Getting the massage before I competed in the tournament has helped me do better. I gain that little bit extra movement and flexibility.I had slipped when learning a new kick at class. That made me sore. Of course, those muscles get used all the time that ended up getting sore. Plus, I worked on kicks for a tournament that really used that muscle group. I went into Urgent Care they said it was just muscles sore. If I keep using them, it will take longer to heal. However, I will not hurt myself more or anything. I lost like 50 lbs. in 8 months, so I was not willing to stop what is overall making me healthier. I can describe the pain as feeling like someone kicked me hard in the area. Jenny has been able to loosen those muscles up. Which can give me major pain relief. I have the home massager, a tens unit, and over counter meds but I get longer pain relief from Jenny’s help. I can also say Jenny has been very professional with what feels like an embarrassing injury. If you talk hips and legs, it effects lower back and areas nearby. I really appreciate her skill, professionalism, and her respectfulness of my comfort level.I was nearby the location and realized I was getting a Tension Headache. I went in as a walk in and worked with Jenny. I never told her about my headache and should have. However, she noticed the tension anyways spent extra time there and got rid of that headache before it was a major problem for me. She is good at finding areas that need attention and will work that spot longer.Speaking of Jenny finding tense muscles, she has been able to loosen muscles up I did not realize was acting up. It was not till after words where I realized that my arm or leg was moving better and felt really good. So the massage has not always the same but always quality. I have also been able to let her know what I do or do not want, and she respects that. If you want an area worked on more or less let them know. Honestly, at this point I completely trust her to know what is needed.I think this place is amazing and key to my fitness journey. The three ladies there are very sweet and nice. I have seen Jenny who is very skilled and wonderful to have work on me. The place is always clean and peaceful. The only complaint I have is I wish I could visit more often, however that is on me.

He did an assessment of my physical condition and, as a result, gave me a specific set of exercises to do designed to increase my strength and balance. He is so good at answering all of my questions, and as he demonstrates the exercises I video him while he also explains what he is doing. Then, I workout at home. This saves me a lot of time. I return about every six weeks to two months for a reassessment. Although I've always exercised, Robert has shown me so many things I didn't know that keep me feeling great!

She's content to chat with you or let you enjoy your massage quietly, whichever you wish. She's a great listener though & has doubled as a therapist for me on occasion, lol. She is always taking classes & continuing her education in massage therapy so she's up to date on all the latest techniques. She won't nickel & dime you if she does some cupping or hot stone work during your Swedish massage and has even tried to decline the tips I leave her

As I told her at my most recent visit, "It's not just massage, it's a whole thing". She takes the time to check in before each appointment and connect any issues outside physical concerns to the mind/body/spirit. Sessions are different each time, and she uses intuition combined with a variety of treatment modalities. After a session I notice I feel lighter, more at ease, and more accepting of what is happening in life.

I saw Stephen for a 90 minute full body massage. When I walked in, he was incredibly welcoming, professional, and gave a very calming presence. He released tension from areas I did not even know were tight! He even relieved tightness and knots that were hidden in my face and deep in my shoulder area. I left the appointment feeling so wonderful and relaxed. The price of the massage was very reasonable and worth every penny. I cannot recommend Stephen enough and will be telling my friends in the area to go to him as well!

My husband got me a gift certificate to deep roots for Mother’s Day and I’m so happy to have found this place right in our neighborhood. The place itself is peaceful and clean, and my masseuse Stephen really took time to get to know me and what I was looking for. It was one of the most personalized massages I’ve ever experienced—it was clear he was really paying attention and in tune to what my body needed and took time to focus on certain muscles/areas that felt tight or in need of attention, rather than just going through the motions of a standard 60-minute massage. I will absolutely be back and will be sure to book with Stephen again!
