In an afternoon I learned enough to become comfortable using our camera for the first time. She was easy to understand on a topic that I have had a hard time learning about in the past. When she’s taken our family picture, each time I’ve felt sure that my ornery, shy, and/or goofy kids have made this year a dud and every year she works her magic and we have the most beautiful portrait. Ashley Lindley: My husband and I opted for a destination wedding in Milwaukee, though we reside in St. Louis. Neither of us are from MKE and we have no friends or family that reside there either. As such, every vendor had to be chosen based on online reviews and phone conversations, which was quite daunting. Enter Chelsea Matson - from the first phone call I had with her, I knew she was the perfect fit for our wedding. Wedding planning is stressful, but I never experienced even a second of that working with Chelsea. We weren't able to visit MKE prior to our wedding for engagement photos, but Chelsea made time to meet with us the week of our wedding which made me much more comfortable. Our wedding photos were truly the only thing that really mattered to us, and the money spent was more than worth it. I could not possibly say enough nice things about how professional and warm Chelsea is, and how incredibly thrilled we are with how our photos turned out. I would do it all over again tomorrow if I could.

Mary Frances Kuhnert: I will forever be grateful for the magic that was captured by Chelsea on our wedding day. From our first meeting, I could tell she genuinely appreciated and took note of the small details that made our relationship special. This attention to detail came to life in the photographs of our wedding day. She has a strong balance of serenity and assertiveness that made the photography portion of the day feel stress free and purposeful, which I now appreciate even more as I’ve experienced being in other weddings where this balance was missing from those photographers. Mary McGuire: I’m not even sure where to start with how amazing Chelsea was. We research, looked at and talked to over 15 different photographers. One of which I grew up with. We ended up going with Chelsea for a few reasons. From the start, she was professional yet easy to talk to; she had great ideas and suggestions; we loved samples she shared from previous weddings she had done, and we liked the package/flexibility she offered. We booked Chelsea without meeting her face to face, but we both liked her so much just over the phone it didn’t matter. She was so flexible, we met up with her shortly after booking her and knew we had made the right decision. I think the best way to summarize how fantastic Chelsea was, is that on our wedding day multiple people commented to us how fantastic it was that we had a friend of ours as our wedding photographer. They were shocked when we told her we had only met her once! So many vendors have an impact on your wedding day, but your photographer is the person that you spend the most time with…and we could not have been more comfortable, or more happy with Chelsea and her team. She truly made our wedding day memorable, and provided us with memories we can have for the rest of our lives!

Courtney Hall: As a plus size girly I’ve always struggled with seeing myself in a positive light. I would look at other people and wish I could look like them. But because of Melissa I’ve got the chance to see myself as I am: strong, feisty and sexy. I couldn’t recommend this experience more. Thank you Melissa for teaching people to love themselves.
Lauren Nicole: I had such a wonderful experience with Melissa! This was my first boudoir shoot. Melissa provided me with ample information and recommendations on preparing for the shoot. I wasn't really nervous going into the shoot, but upon arrival Melissa and the hair/makeup team almost made me forget why I was there. They were all so friendly, it felt like I was hanging out with a group of my friends, with some posing and wardrobe changes mixed in. Melissa is so good at directing the posing/facial expressions it takes all the guesswork out of it. Which is great for people like me who have absolutely no idea how to pose! I'd recommend booking with Melissa!
Sierra Neu: BOOK NOW! What a wonderful experience! I was nervous about doing something that made me so vulnerable. From the second I stepped into the studio, I felt comfortable. Melissa was very personable, funny, and professional. The makeup and hair team were wonderful! During the shoot, I forgot I was half naked in vulnerable poses. It felt normal and natural. The poses feel weird, but the end product is so worth it! All in all, I would absolutely recommend working with Melissa.
Marianne Mikush: I just had my photo shoot yesterday. This was completely out of my comfort zone! Hair and makeup staff were amazing and gave me the look I was hoping for, and even were open to suggestions from me makeupwise. I am very much an introvert, just turned 65, and a friend coaxed me into trying this. While I was apprehensive at first, Melissa had me giggling and relaxed almost immediately! she is so upbeat and funny, it takes all of the stress out of the experience. She helps you every step of the way, doing the pose first. You can try it or reject the idea with no pressure. I was super pumped that it was warm enough to do a rooftop shoot in February! When it came time to choose photos, I was so surprised by most that I actually upgraded my package! I'm still in such a great mood from the experience - I very highly recommend trying it!!

Ariel Stamper: This place is sooo bright, airy, cute! Decently clean: window treatments could use a wash and there were a few things in the room left over from previous shoots but over all this studio is stunning and has tons of different areas to utilize. I would recommend this studio to anyone!

Would gladly recommend this place over and over again 😊😊The ONLY feedback I had was that it got pretty stuffy and warm in the studio and I was starting to sweat but didn’t know how to control the temperature so I just popped a window open for some air circulation. I came when it was only 50 degrees out so it wasn’t cold. But overall, I had a blast and so did my client.
