DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Milwaukee Downtown: what do users think?

Warren O: Just wanted to drop in and say we’ve stayed here several times and this is honestly one of our favorite hotels across the country. Know what sets it apart? The service staff / such beautiful nice people that work here. I can be having the worst of days and the people here are some of the nicest folks I’ve ever dealt with. Some of the most top notch service we’ve received. Facilities are nice and clean and place is conveniently located as well!!! Highly recommend you stay here. You won’t regret it.

Kathryn Burke: I would definitely stay again.

The Pfister Hotel: what do users think?

Danilo Franzin Paulo: Местоположение: 5 из 5

Emily: , very limited view considering it was a "lake view" room, a very small bathroom, and thin walls where we could hear neighbors talking at night. We found the room hot but the thermostat would not let us lower the setting any further. There was one mirror in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable, clean, and room service was outstanding and better than expected. One elevator was out of service for a day or two but was fixed before we left. Our guest card didn't let us out of the parking ramp. The help button didn't work, and when we called the front desk no one answered. We had to physically get out of the car and walk to the front desk to have them give new cards to exit the ramp. Luckily no one was waiting behind us in the ramp.Luggage racks were unavailable unless you pay/tip the concierge/bell hop service to bring the bags for you. They won't let you use one if you ask.The pool was clean. I wish it had more jets to filter the water. There was no hot tub. The pool towels were very nice. The fitness center had a good amount of weights and equipment but looked dirty like it needed to be vacuumed and wiped down. It was in the basement.Club access was nice and staff were very friendly. I loved the fresh cut fruit at breakfast. I wish pancakes or waffles had been included.Club daytime snacks included gummy bears, snack mix, chips, m+m's, Kind/Clif bars, pop, and other beverages. Too much junk for the kids. I think apples and oranges were also available.Club evening hors derves weren't that great and they looked inexpensive- chunks of stinky cheese with flatbread sesame crackers, wontons, baked pierogis, an honor bar and macrons every night. We witnessed a staff with long blond hair come into the Club room from the Blu bar, grab tips, and then return back to the Blu bar room. The Mason Street Grille was very expensive and not kid friendly. The service was slow and the food was not great.

Hotel Metro, Autograph Collection: what do users think?

Tony Kinnett: The hotel is very nicely kept, and one of the better in the Autograph Collection. The star of this stay is undoubtedly the service. The front desk staff and the cleaning/maintenance crew were friendly, thorough, and well beyond what I'd expect at a chain like this. Given the opportunity, I will be staying here whenever in Milwaukee in the future.

M Taylor: This is an independent hotel boutique that is part of the Marriott Bonvoy Program. I did receive an upgrade to a Presidents suite, but don't be confused because they have several of them. The decor of the room is nice but it is not new, it is starting to show some wear and tear. The climate control is not great as it is an older building with forced radiator heat that you cannot turn off. The AC could not cool the room as needed for us at night. Valet parking is $40, there is local self parking nearby for less than $20. There are several great restaurants nearby. I give 3 stars when I am satisfied with my experience but would not go out of my way to return. I would stay at a different property on my next trip.

Flip Flop Guy: Very nice rooms! Clean and modernized with a warm feeling to them. Staff was friendly and valet prompt! A few unique drawback’s experienced would be that the room temp was too warm and no matter the setting, would not lower. The television also didn’t display anything but movie channels and local channels. The casting didn’t work either. Finally, there was the sound of music bass well past midnight that could be heard. I am not sure if that was the very cool pufferfish tiki bar on the sixth floor or a place across the street. Made for a tough sleep. All in all though, a very nice hotel and one we would definitely visit again!

Kendell Solorzano: Great location and the valet Todd is so friendly and service oriented! We love staying here for work trips. Rooms are great!Rooms: Rooms are huge and modern. Nice snacks, coffee and amenities! Lots of plugs and chargers.

Justin Gauvin: Decor in lobby matches the rooms. However couches in the rooms are too square and not comfortableWe had a Suite and couldn't have guests stay in our living room...Food & drinks: The restaurant Oogies has fabulous breakfast, non hotel guests were eating there.

Jennifer Dettlo: We stayed here for the second time this past weekend and--once again--Hotel Metro was just phenomenal. The building is so cute--everything is super clean, chic and inviting----but the staff is what really shines. The ladies at the front desk/reception were so helpful and kind to us we....but everyone who works here is amazing. We were just so impressed by the level of service and the straight-up kindness we were shown we will be back for a third stay! Excellent job Hotel Metro!

Scott V: Overall I call this a very nice hotel for a 5 night stay. We were upgraded to the presidential suite giving us a cozy fireplace and extra seating. For a room as big as this and one for 5 days I'm baffled by how little closet space there is.Decor is so nice, makes you feel as though you are back in the 1930'sStaff is super nice. Had some very good recommendations for local places to visit.Walkability: Close to the 3rd Ward in one direction and the entertainment district the other direction.

Tyler Bosh: Rooms: 5/5

Ethan James Kretlow (Eton Kretlow): So goodSafety: OkayFood & drinks: Good

Latrez H: This hotel is really good. It’s kind of like a old-school back in the 1960s vibe with a modern twist but it’s crazy because everything is real good the vibe the food the drinks the room everything is really elegant and nice plus it’s downtown in the center of everything in MILWAUKEE I think they got another one in New York if I’m not mistaken, but you gotta check it out. This is definitely one of the top hotels in downtown MILWAUKEE, you get waited on hand and foot from the time you get out the car until the time you get to your room even after that, there’s always someone that’s there to help you throughout your whole stay you got like a personal maid or bails men

Linda Stangler: Stay there for a wedding.Rooms: Nice little kitchenetteWalkability: Walkable to 3rd ward,Food & drinks: Great breakfast

Addison Lopez: Amazing breakfast. The handicap accessibility could be better.Rooms: Clean and spacious depending on what type of room you get.Nearby activities: Little shops, walk along the river, mall attached to the hotel.Walkability: Everyone walks around there to get placesFood & drinks: Good breakfast plenty of options.

Monday's Coffee: And the pillows probably haven't been replaced in years. They aren't soft or firm. They are flat and mushy. The wifi is almost non existent. Connectivity is rough. Services in the hotel are solid. I.e gyms/laundry/breakfast.The location gets 3 stars because of its relative location to decent food, bars, markets and even music venues. But it stops there, during the night, its not a place you'd want to walk around solo.Parking is horrendous.

Warren Schmidenberg: Hotel highlights Great view

Mike X: . We drove around the corner 3 times before finding this place though so be prepared to make a right in the middle of the street into an inconspicuous driveway.

Ambassador Hotel Milwaukee: what do users think?

Kenneth Trommler: Had a wonderful two night stay at the Ambassador. The shuttle driver Taurus was very kind and helpful. The rooms were quaint and quiet. The art deco feel of the lobby was beautiful. Stained glass and old time radios line the walls. Would highly recommend a stay at the Ambassador. The parking garage was great as well. Other reviews mention abandoned cars, I saw zero during my stay and my car felt very secure. Overall a wonderful stay. Ate at the Gin Rickey as well, half of appetizers got the slider trio and it was perfect.

Jeffrey Douglas: I've been staying at the Riverfront Holiday Inn for several months and I enjoy the good service and friendly staff. Angela, the hotel manager is always accommodating and helpful if I ever have concerns. I like hotel living and this is the place to be for business or recreation. The view of the Milwaukee River is superb and I would recommend this hotel for anyone planning a visit to Milwaukee. Photo included was taken by me.Rooms: Half of the hotel rooms overlook the river.

Tara Griffin: Nearby activities: Bayshore is in area and a variety of restaurantsWalkability: It’s plenty places in area to walk if u wanna go out for outing without drinkingFood & drinks: The hotel have restaurants but your able to find different variety in area for food and drinks

Ambrocio Vega: It was a great stay. The Hotel was very clean and the staff was nice and professional. The restaurant was great as well.Rooms: The room was nice and clean. I stayed at the Hilton the week before and the bed at the Holiday inn was better than the bed in the hilton.

Susan Cripps: Everyone has been so nice. TaMia on the evening of 12/17/2023 was especially helpful and went above and beyond to help me. She was so kind and never once showed anything but kindness. I can’t say how much I appreciate her. The server when I had breakfast was very friendly and was the only one there, so she did wonderful. Great job by all. I have two more nights here, so I’m looking forward to it. Thank you. Five Starsplus

Homewood Suites by Hilton Milwaukee Downtown: what do users think?

Jacquie DV: reasonable expectations. I want a clean room in which to sleep. A comfortable bed is ideal, as is a reasonably quiet environment at night.Reading these reviews when you're trying to decide where to book is not always helpful, right? I will try to be helpful.I was in room 603, a room with a king bed. It was very clean when I arrived, and even though it overlooked the highway, there was very little noise from the outside. The room was beautiful, with nice amenities, high ceilings, a ceiling fan, a TV that was at least 55 inches, a desk, a small couch, and two chairs.I found it absolutely pleasant, and I would not hesitate to stay there again. They offered a significant selection for breakfast: a waffle maker available with every topping imaginable,, mini quiches, omelettes, turkey sausage, pastries, biscuits, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal

Trish Konop: Front desk worker was incredibly nice, wish I had got her name. So friendly, helpful and nice. Was working 4/13 in afternoon and 4/14 in morningHotel highlights Quiet …

Jurga Tautkute: . Even is right next to major highway - you cant hear the noise in the rooms .I stayed in Corner suite - best room with the view. Impressive old building remodeled to modern clean and charming hotel . There are 18th century items recovered during remodeling displayed in the lobby .Great helpful staff. Parking near by. Charging station for electric cars . Absolutely best . 4 stars due to the breakfast not being served properly . It was a busy weekend and obviously hotel wasn't ready for that . We had to stay in line and most of the food was already gone . Even the coffee station wasn't filled up . Hope they fill fix it soon - I am planning to stay here all the time when in Milwaukee !

Yukeun Jeon: has high ceiling and the herring bone wooden floor. The location is the icing on the cupcake. I wished I could have stayed longer in this hotel and Milwaukee. The only complaint we has was the pull out bed was super uncomfortable. You could almost see /feel the spring through the sheets. Other than that I definately recommend this hotel.

Jerad Tonn: The building is beautiful and they do a nice job of telling it's history throughout the hotel. Rooms were spacious and nice and the continental breakfast was better than most I've had. The only bad experience was that all the bottles of shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner in my shower we empty. I notified the front desk the first morning, and it was not corrected, so the two mornings I spent there I had to shower with only the bar of hand soap. Not great, but also wouldn't stop me from going back.

Tammy Moore: We stayed in July, we walked to the fireworks by the lake beautiful! So many venues amd restaurants to walk to and shopping of course. The hotel is very historic on the outside the red brick is outstanding. Then you enter the hotel and everything is updated and modernized very sophisticated. We loved the views from our room overlooking downtown. Room was well stocked with Everthing you could Think of! Will stay here againRooms: Very spaciousWalkability: Very easy.walking to all the venues we visited

Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel: what do users think?

Valeria Gonzalez: My fiancé and I wanted to stop in Milwaukee for a night just to visit the city and needed a reasonably priced but comfortable hotel and Saint Kate is the best you can get! Madelyn from the front desk was so accommodating, provided us with anything we needed and also recommended great places to eat and drink within walking distance. The room was clean and AC worked perfectly, bed was comfy and our view was also great. Our experience was awesome and would definitely visit again!

Liv: My absolute favorite hotel to date! I loved the artsy vibe. The staff were so nice and helpful. Complementary champagne upon check-in to boot. The views, the location, everything. The bed was so comfy, too, lol. I'm definitely staying here again!Noteworthy details: There's an art gallery on the ground floor open to the public.

Dan Gross: My wife and I have traveled around the world, staying at many of the finest, most famous, luxury hotels, and we can honestly say that this is one of the greatest experiences we've ever had. To say it was perfect would actually be an understatement. We were surprised and delighted over and over again. The one unfortunate thing is that we were only there for one night! We will definitely be back! Even if we have to return to Milwaukee just for that purpose it will be worth it!

Kelsey H: This was… fine but didn’t totally live up to my hopes? Room layout was nice and the space is beautiful overall, though mine showed some wear and tear. We were here Thursday - Saturday and some of the galleries were closed for a changeout for most of our trip. The lobby/restaurant/bar area is SO LOUD - we didn’t really get to enjoy it because it was consistently so overwhelming. Room service menu is weirdly limited - no way to order beverages through the app with breakfast? The location was great and the parking worked well.Overall I would stay here again for the right price, but this was a slight splurge for us even compared to some other downtown hotels we considered, and I don’t think it was worth going out of our way for.Walkability: Super convenient/walkable to activities as well as bus and streetcar lines.Food & drinks: No ability to order coffee/tea/soda for breakfast as part of room service.

The Knickerbocker on the Lake: what do users think?

Carrie Engstrom: We really enjoyed our stay at the Knickerbocker, the service was great and it was fun being in a historic hotel. The restaurant is really good too. The only thing that was somewhat troublesome were the people next to us being rather loud so I'm guessing the walls are a little thin. Also, when they cooked the odor was pretty strong. Otherwise it's a lovely hotel and we would stay there again.

Richard Hertz: Lovely airbnb room in a classic former residential hotel. Quiet, clean, well-appointed and comfortable.Rooms: Large 1 bed unit. Nice kitchen, clean and up-to-date. Comfortable bed in the bedroom.Walkability: Close to the lake and downtown. Even a supermarket nearby.

Jon Rodman: .Rooms: Clean, quiet, and still retaining a historical atmosphere

Jim Klein: Great location, nice and close to several breweries in the district. The room was nice and spacious and featured a film kitchenette. Stove, microwave, fridge with real freezer, and even a dishwasher. There were even dishes in the cupboard. The tops of the brew tanks are a nice touch to reflect what the building has done. Lots of unique seating all along the building.Pretty standard fare for breakfast. Nothing spectacular but it was well attended until it closed.Rooms: High ceilings and filled with amenities.Walkability: We walked to several breweries and even a local food court

Manny Sergentakis: My stay was great. Short walk to the Fiserv arena. They put a lot of money into restoring the brewery and making rooms, so I didn't mind the cost. The room I had was clean and perfect. It even had a small kitchen that I used. TV in the room could have been bigger to watch the college basketball championship game. They should have made the beds every day and not by request since the room was pricey. Also, they should mention that there is free street parking a couple blocks towards the left if you are on a budget and want to avoid the forty dollar valet fee and the twenty dollar parking garage fee. The restaurant next door was useless to me because it was never open when I needed it. Never heard of a restaurant that serves dinner that closes at 8 PM on a weekend.

William Chumbley: Very nice room and front desk went out of there way to provide us what we need to make this experience a nice stay. TYRooms: Quiet, well lit, plenty of TV's, and appliances silverware for this spacious 6-8 people sleeping kitchenette.Nearby activities: The whole city of MilwaukeeWalkability: With in walking distance to downtown Milwaukee

Kinn Guesthouse: what do users think?

Adriane Gilbert: bulbs in the vanity lights were out, so it made it difficult. Same thing with the bedside lights

M: This modern hotel is absolutely stunning. I enjoyed how quickly you can get a response from the staff through text. The beautiful kitchen hangout area is exceptionally well made and the room felt so cozy. The neighborhood is wonderful. I went to honey pie for breakfast and karma for a smoothie. I will stay here again everytime I coke to MilwaukeeRooms: It was very easy to get all the details textedSafety: I felt very safe here and in this neighborhood

Ray Juaire: I chose this location without ever having been to Milwaukee. The building and rooms looked really interesting. Great location, easy check-in/ check-out, free parking behind it, and comfortable rooms. We only spent one night but quickly located a great cafe for pie and breakfast and a Japanese place fir dinner within walking distance. It was also very easy to simply drive about 8 minutes north to go right into The Third Ward District downtown. Bayview was a great location and this play was very nice. If we had one more night we would have tried the really nice Italian place on the first floor of this guesthouse.

Christopher Ross: We visited our daughter in Milwaukee and stayed at Kinn. We have stayed there previously and have enjoyed every visit. The staff is very accommodating. Great experience.Rooms: The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Our room had a kitchen, though others share a common kitchen and lounge. Very nice.Walkability: Lots to do in Bay View, and it’s all a short walk down the street. Great location!

Noname Foru: had a view of the lake!

Pam Wicking: Kinn Guesthouse is located in a vibrant neighborhood with restaurants and cafes within walking distance or a short drive. We really enjoyed our dinner at Sorelle, and brunch at Honeypie. Humboldt Park is just a few blocks. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and thoughtfully decorated. We appreciated the shared full kitchen and lounge area which has lots of natural light. Kinn has so much character but with the comfort of the big chain hotels.Noteworthy details: Clear instructions for contactless check in/out were sent via text. The whole process was quick and easy.

Lisa Wesley: We were so comfortable right in the heart of BayView. The bed and bedding were perfect for restful sleep in this very quiet room. We loved the large size of the room, the crazy high ceilings, the exposed brick, and huge windows with room darkening blinds. The shower was huge and well stocked with toiletries from Ursa, the cool boutique across the street; that was a treat. The spotless chef's kitchen provided a beautiful space to make and enjoy coffee and tea each morning as well as an ice machine and a dedicated tray in the fridge to store our food and beverages. We briefly saw two other guests down the hall one morning. No lobby and no crowds added to the peaceful, easy vibe. Any questions were immediately answered via text. We did NOT miss our usual airport hotel stay with crowds and noise. We look forward to staying here again and trying the Kinn Guesthouse downtown.

Lily Orr: you never heard them and it didn’t interfere with your relaxing at all.the bed was comfortable and all the amenities were great. would definitely stay here again.

Aloft Milwaukee Downtown: what do users think?

Abby Klein: . They worked together as a team, were incredibly quick and efficient and remained friendly and warm while juggling a dozen cars and sets of keys. I interacted with them a few other times - each time the team members went out of their way to brighten my day and make me feel welcome. No clue how Aloft assembled such a solid team - but as a woman in business, I urge you to do whatever it takes to retain every member of the valet staff! One in a million

Jose Macias: Great place to stay. Within walking distance to the Fiserv forum and too downtown Milwaukee. Couldn't find the Mansion in Wisconsin that T pain was talking about, but no worries. Still had a great time here. Anyways, one of the rooms was smelling like cigarettes. We asked to be moved and they let us and there other room smelled a lot better. Felt welcomed here and would come back to visit when the Celtics come to play.

C Coger: Beautiful hotel and the location is excellent. Walking distance to so many bars, restaurants and the Bucks! The meeting space was perfect for our group. The bar and seating areas made it perfect for us to mingle between events. The staff was great and they make breakfast work even though it isn't a full spread. The rooms were clean and bed was super comfy.

Aryn: The staff was really nice, I especially appreciate the valet for putting up with me and my boyfriend being in and out like 6 times a day

Nick ballew: The hotel itself was great and I absolutely loved the location.I’m mainly writing this review to give praise to the valet. His name was Daniel and he did a phenomenal job. It was freezing cold outside and yet he always maintained a positive attitude the entire time. His exceptional performance proved me to that customer service is not completely dead.If you get a chance to read this, keep it up Daniel. That attitude will get you far in life sir.

Brennan Stokes: Amber is the best thing that happened to Aloft! If she leaves that place will go down the drain! She's always friendly makes time for you! Hospitality is the definition of Amber! She's a great person.Service: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …

Home2 Suites by Hilton Milwaukee Airport: what do users think?

Monika Conner: After having quite the day of bad weather missed flights, and finally ending up in Milwaukee around midnight, I found myself without a room I called and the girl at the front desk Her name was Anastasia. Extremely nice. She immediately sent a shuttle over to the airport to pick me up and from the moment I walked in those doors the service was just excellent. I would highly recommend, this establishment the rooms were super clean even when I went to breakfast the next morning the staff was super friendly and nice thank you all for making me feel welcome

The Iron Horse Hotel: what do users think?

K Star: Super cool place! Amazing rooms and service was awesome. Dinner was great, excellent Old Fashioneds and spectacular breakfast. I will stay here again when in Milwaukee. Also very close to HD museum.Rooms: Rooms are modern and upscale.

Erica Kelly: Had an amazing experience at the Iron Horse Hotel.Unfortunately, I only had the opportunity to stay for one night with a small group but I would've stayed longer if I could and will definitely be back!First, the staff is incredibly hospitable, and friendly. My group was pretty small, maybe 10-14 rooms and they treated us like royalty from the front desk, to management, to bar service to culinary and breakfast and the giftshop/store.Second, the hotel itself was so nice. I didn't know what to expect prior to my arrival, knowing that this hotel was influenced by Harley Davidson, but it was done in such a classy elegant way. You really appreciate the esthetic when you walk up the stairs, into the lobby with the hotel scent and the layout/décor throughout the property. This hotel really takes so many local influences into account and I feel like I was able to experience so much of Milwaukee in the hotel, from the 1 night I was there.Thank you so much for such a delightful experience, I can't wait to go back and suggest this hotel to anyone staying in or near Milwaukee.

Katelyn Roach: . Smells like man spiced deodorant in the entrance lobby… think Negroni in aerosol form. Everyone was extremely pleasant. Rooms were clean and quiet. All that being said, the restaurant food needs help. For $98, we ordered 2 burgers, 1 coke, caesar salad, calamari, and 1 fried chicken sandwich. For the quality I’d say price point is about 30% over priced. Burgers were very mid, chicken was good, salad was fine, but the calamari… just no. Iron Horse Hotel you were great, but please remove the calamari from your menu immediately. For $16, we received small insignificant crumbs, not fresh, and the dressing was this strange cranberry relish that wasn’t even dippable. If I was in a mood I’d have sent it back or asked for it to be removed from my tab, but I did not.I recommend Iron Horse as a nice place to stay, however you’re better off just going up the road to St. Paul’s Fish Company at the public market for a fresh dinner.
