Shaz Bhathena: The people at ATI Physical Therapy were dedicated to helping me feel better. They adapted my at home exercises weekly to match my needs, checked in on my pain, and used their knowledge to help me deal with my chronic pain. They were huge advocates for me with the insurance companies when it came to needing more sessions, and monitored my improvement persistently so that I could get to a much better place with my pain.

Sam Ahmed (Sam): This is the first truly “physicals therapy” provider that I ever been to. The others pretend to perform PT or OC but this is the true genuine location with full knowledge and sincere aim to resolve their patient’s issues.They are almost provide one-to-one treatment which exceeded my expectation. Nathan Boyer: Dr. Ramirez is by far one of the best doctors I have been to. I drive an hour to get dry needling done and it is well worth the trip. Physical Therapy of Milwaukee is the only place in the surrounding area I found that adds electric stimulation to the dry needling. Dr. Ramirez has always been friendly and engaged. She takes the time to listen to what I have to say and I never feel rushed. Even though I am only there for dry needling, Dr. Ramirez does a holistic check of my muscles and spine and has provided other functions to aid in helping reduce my pain. All the staff there is helpful and friendly. Can't recommend this place enough!!

Sarah Azar: to try and get to the root cause of the physical issue you are experiencing. Special kudos to Martha who was patient and dynamic in her remedy program she uniquely designed for me. I wish that PT could be part of my weekly exercise program. The mental element to how you move in everday life is just as important as the physical.

Samantha Sutter: Well this is long overdue! I went to physical therapy here for about half a year after breaking both my ankles. Martha was amazing and made the whole experience great. I have had physical therapy in the past before and it was always beyond boring and just super frustrating to attend. With Martha I felt like I was being taken care of and actually treated like a person and not just a number. I was happy when the time came for me to graduate from physical therapy, but I was also sad because it meant not seeing all the wonderful staff at Athletico anymore.

I had previous experience with the Eastside Athletico for a similar problem and called for a referral from my family practice doc. Athletico got me in right away and Martha, the wonderful pt, evaluated me, gave a logical explanation for what she thought was happening, and exercises to do. I was on a tight time line before leaving, and she worked with my limitations, pain and my busy schedule. Helen Kynaston: I broke my leg on 8/29 and was in a total leg immobility cast for 4 weeks and was not allowed to put weight on my leg for another 4 weeks. After those 8 weeks I could not walk without a walker or a cane. Now, because of Tony and Stephanie at Athletico i am walking stairs. I took my dog for her first walk on Friday 12/30. Dave Urbaniak: My experience with PT at Athletico was outstanding.Stephanie at the Downer Ave location was fantastic. As was the entire staff. I was 6 months out of my last hip replacement and was having pain in the hip area as well as multiple locations of upper leg, with constant bruising and stiffness with any activity. After the 1st session of Needling and some pinpoint exercises I was stunned to see how much better I felt the next day. My strength came back, all of the pain is gone and my range of motion is back to what it was 10 years ago, pre hip replacements. I am back in the gym daily after 4 weeks. Thx Stephanie for taking the time to work with me, I appreciated all of your expertise on what exercises to do and helpful tips for training. Amy Kopplin: Quite frankly, I owe this clinic my ability to walk today!After a golf injury, the PT's at this clinic accurately identified that I had a spinal issue that PT alone likely would not fix, and recommended me to a local orthopedic spine surgeon. I actually needed an emergency spinal surgery to preserve my ability to walk, and subsequently completed 6 months of physical therapy with this location afterwards. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this clinic, its staff, and all of the therapists!I worked closely with many of the therapists due to the number of sessions I needed to complete, and can honestly say you cannot go wrong with any of the PT's. Megan, Stephanie and Martha are caring, knowledgeable, and knew when I could test my strength and boundaries while still making me feel confident and capable! They assisted me with how to best take care of a new scar, best stretches and movements I could do at home as well.The aides that support the PT's helped during busy times, and I always felt that I was a valued patient in the clinic, even when they were busy. There always seems to be an upbeat attitude in the clinic!All of the front desk staff made scheduling easy; they worked with me and all my doctor appointments and when I went back to work. They took care of all communications with my insurance company, and I genuinely looked forward to visiting the team every time I walked in the door.I can honestly say I miss seeing everyone at Athletico Eastside!

They prioritize patient-centered care, which meant that I always had a personalized approach to my recovery/exercise plan. I felt like they met me where I was at and accompanied me throughout my journey. Erik Munson: Incredible experience during rehabilitation of a torn lateral meniscus. Albojay was amazing during the early process of extending range of motion and subsequent strengthening of nearby and core muscles. He additionally provided rationale for everything that was performed and attempted. I appreciated that and learned a tremendous amount during the entire process. The graduation gift of a free T-shirt was a bonus.

He not only got me back to my baseline without neck pain, but was also caring enough to address my chronic shoulder pain that I thought would never improve. His examination and manual therapy skills are superb. I highly recommend this clinic for PT because it is a positive and fun environment with friendly therapists who use evidence-based interventions in a 1-on-1 setting to get you feeling and moving better.
Keith Matzkanin: What can I say other than I am so happy that I found this place! I had been dealing with a frozen shoulder for about 9 months when I came to see Brent Bode. Because the diagnosis took about 6 months, I had been recommended to see two other physical therapists. While I won’t say the experience with them was bad, it was pale in comparison to the knowledge and strategy from Brent to get my shoulder in working order. I highly recommend this place for anyone that needs therapy. The clinic blends the expertise of its clinicians with talented field students creating a symbiotic relationship that benefits the patients. I observed the other clinicians as professional and helpful, even though I didn’t directly work with them. Brent used a variety of methods to help my shoulder and over the course of the three months of therapy, my shoulder was better than I thought it would ever be and I’ve regained full motion. Being that my condition is not too common, I am so happy to finally have found a place that was able to handle it and I am confident it can meet all types of therapy needs. Do yourself a favor and use this place is you ever require physical therapy.
Siani Brown Carr: I had the pleasure of seeing Albojay for almost the entire school year for multiple injuries issues all at once, and I felt like I received the best care possible. Albojay was very attentive and all about what was best for me as a client. He always asked questions, and was very patient and understanding. He made the injuries and recovery feel less like a task, it was enjoyable and knowledgable.The other staff was always very nice and helpful with scheduling and anything else that was needed. They both encouraged me to work hard, challenge myself, yet listened carefully to my feedback, adjusting exercises as necessary. Community Clinic: I've seen Jeff, Albojay and Brent all at some point during my treatments, but I primarily was under Albojay's care for neck pain, headaches and lightheadedness lingering from a concussion. Albojay and all the PTs at this clinic are fantastic and knowledgeable. They individualize treatments to fit your needs and educate you on strategies and exercises to maintain the progress made in PT. I'm extremely thankful for the care I received from MUPTC and would recommend them to anyone.

Ian Messner: I was dealing with an injury that I hadn't experienced before, and neither me nor my doctor could figure out what the problem was. After about 2 months of dealing with this injury, and it progressively getting worse, we thought it would be helpful to see a PT, and maybe they could better evaluate my injury. I had an initial meeting with Albojay at the MU PT clinic and within 30 minutes I felt confident we had finally figured out what the injury was and what its causes were. I've done PT three times before this for different injuries, but never at MU's clinic, and I honestly feel like this was the most helpful PT I've done yet. Not only was Albojay able to determine what the injury was, but he also set me up with a great stretching/workout program that greatly reduced and healed my injury, and also helped make me conscious of other slight issues/injuries I had. The clinic as a whole has done a great job of working with patients amidst the pandemic, and I would definitely recommend that anyone in need of PT schedule an appointment at the Marquette Univ. I actually got to see multiple physical therapists while I was there, and every single one was extremely knowledgable to help sculpt exercises to deal with my injury and the progression during the course of my treatment. Colton Nieman: It’s extremely evident that the staff at Athletico cares deeply about their clients. They helped me recover from a full achilles rupture. The exercises they prescribed me were very helpful and during our sessions, they kept a close eye on me to ensure I was performing them correctly. They continuously asked how difficult each exercise felt to make sure we weren’t doing too much but also to make sure we were pushing boundaries so I could improve. This made my time with them extremely valuable and I was able to see a lot of progress in a short amount of time. I definitely recommend their services!

I’ve never been to a PT office before so I asked for insurance to be checked, and the response was essentially that I should do it myself, which I get that can be easier for them, but it’s not easier for me and isn’t that what a business is about? Making the patient feel comfortable and checking on insurance for them? It’s simple really, I did it when I was a receptionist all the time.I still gave 5 stars because the actual physical therapists are doing a great job.

The moment you walk in the door and are greeted by Kevin and Paige you know that you are in good hands. It is such a friendly welcoming place. During my treatment we would talk about music, restaurants, movies, how your day was going, and if you had any concerns or problems with your injury. John Tritschler: I am a discriminating consumer that rarely gives out 5 Stars or 10 for 10 in surveys, believing there is always room for improvement. However, my experience with Paige and Athletico North Avenue was nothing short of outstanding while rehabbing a total knee reconstruction. Paige is a total PT professional that inspires engagement and confidence. She charted a plan for what she wanted to achieve over the course of treatment - approximately 16 sessions . But, importantly, the plan seemed customized and realistic to my age, weight, flexibility, progress, etc. She ensured my Dr. received several detailed reports on my progress/limits. I will also add the facility and equipment are newer, clean and well maintained. Kevin at the front desk also does a friendly, efficient job in coordinating insurance and scheduling. I could say more, but it may be best to just to say this a positive and caring environment that checks all the boxes in promoting the ultimate goal of healing.
Sean True: On October 3rd of 2021 I had a partial knee replacement surgery, beginning that same week I began physical therapy with Paige at Athletico on North Avenue in Wauwatosa, from day one her knowledge proved to be absolutely essential to my recovery from surgery and getting me up and moving again, all in a very pleasant manner that made me feel relaxed and far less nervous and anxious about the experience than I might normally have been, and not just at the facility, Paige also provided me with numerous exercises that I did at home between visits to further the healing and recovery process along. Kevin, the gentleman at the front desk was also extremely helpful in setting up my appointments and sorting out any issues that arose with the insurance company, billing, etc.All in all, I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Athletico to anyone in need of any type of physical therapy for any reason, and if the need aver arises for myself again, I will absolutely return to Athletico, and Paige in particular, for my therapy.
tom wenten: The combination of physical therapist Paige and Kevin is not to be beat. Paige actually makes it fun to do physical therapy. Kevin always greets you with a smile and always asks if there’s anything he can do for you. Perfect pair.

Ryan was very clear with instructions for exercises and helped me to understand the why. I have improved a lot in flexibility and strength. My pain is gone and Ryan provided me with tools to keep it away. The only thing I wish I would have done is gone here sooner.

But WOPT always has a solution for me.
