Bethany Blount: Quick Update: It's still delicious! I had more restraint than below, but I also came hungrier. They have several delightful crêpe options this season. I wish I could afford to try them all!Absolutely delish! We went for a little brunch and ended up splurging on a three course meal. I made the joke when ordering dessert that I would have to be wheeled out of the restaurant. It was all so good though that my willpower abandoned me. I would highly recommend!
Dave Dunn: Last two times I have gone here I have had bad food. Fried chicken livers way over done, and beef shank was dry and tough, variable were under cooked to he point of being raw. And last time I went somehow my bill came out to $168. I had drinks and bought cocktails mix to go, but just seemed like too much after I thought about it. Not sure if I trust restaurant manger, seemed to be playing around with the bill.
Bel: I had a delicious cup of coffee and ordered the following: Mushroom and spinach waffle. Bread pudding waffle with mushroom duxelle, broccolini, salad, feta, truffle oil, poached eggs and smoked shallot marmalade. Looks great....however, my waffle was burned and BLACK on the bottom. Also one egg was hard in the center, not poached. Not inedible, but it could have been an amazing dish if they hadn't plated the burned waffle. The accompanying salad had a very good dressing....love breakfast with some salad on the plate. Great atmosphere and service. I'll be back.

The salad was fresh and crisp. I choose the filet medallions with foie gras... it was nothing less than ahhhmazing. I definitely recommend. Brandon Newman: Absolutely fantastic! After a long day of traveling and an afternoon walking all around Milwaukee, I came to Buckley’s with my parents for dinner. This converted home has been turned into a fancy-casual restaurant with an exquisite atmosphere. I tried the Broccoli starter, which came with a nice miso tahini sauce that provided a unique flavor. The Buckley Burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The meat itself was so high quality and full of flavor, and the crisp brioche bun and toppings and condiments complimented the burger perfectly. I also had the Lobster pasta and it lives up to how delicious a lobster dish has to be. Absolute class when it came to combining the lemon and tomato flavors with the lobster in a light pasta dish. My Dad also says the salmon dish he had was really good. For dessert, it was hard to choose which of Mrs. Buckley’s items to get. We got the famous carrot cake and the seasonal St. Patrick’s cheesecake. All I know is that Mrs. Buckley doesn’t miss! Both desserts were so delicious and the high quality showed once again. The service was great, too. We were never rushed even with the restaurant being packed. The waitress was very nice, answered questions, and told us a little bit about the Buckley family. On top of everything mentioned, the pricing was very good and the portions were large. Overall, this is a restaurant I trust after my first visit. You can’t go wrong with Buckley’s. 5 STARS!!!!!
Robert Whitehurst: A beautiful restaurant with excellent food. I had to sit at the bar because I did not have reservations. To be fair it was Valentine's weekend.I took an out of town guest for dinner and his initial impression was that it was very "fancy". However, after dinner he confessed that it was one of the best meals he had every eaten. He travels for business and eats in many restaurants. He proclaimed that it is certainly a hidden gem in Milwaukee and would definitely return when he is in town.

The sangria had the most delicious combination of spices. This place is for foodies! You will not be disappointed. Ask for Joe to be your waiter. Have been here several times and absolutely LOVE this place. The lamb kafta is the best I’ve had in the Milwaukee area. Moist, tender and bursting with flavor! The Mediterranean salad is ELITE. Their non-alcoholic drinks are also delicious.Janet was our server the first time we went and this last time. She is absolutely awesome and gives the best recommendations for foods to try! Joseph Henderson: Capital Grill is always one of my favorites. I love the service but for some reason I have been a little disappointed in their food. This round had lobster bisque and salmon with couscous. The lobster bisque was amazing. The salmon and couscous lacked flavor and salt. I know salt is objective but even when added it lacked other flavors. I am providing a great review because service is always top notch.

ELVIRA ROCKWELL: Let's just start with the art and the layout, a visual feast, especially with the blacklight art and the wraparound layout of the restaurant. I always wander because I'm a firm believer in the old saying the devil is in detail, and u should always watch for the tail. I really liked the back bar not in use because the artwork on that wall reminded me of aboriginal art. The food was superb. I had a garlic pizza with bacon. Omg just sumptuous. The thin crust had the perfect amount of crunch and tasted so good. Along with it, I had a dark beer and a cocktail. Both were amazing. Lastly, I had the limoncello and flour less chocolate cake, and both of the witch was magically decadent and so worth it. I was downing milk along the way because born wisconsinite and nothing compliments dark chocolate like milk. The service was fast, and the waiters were perfect and funny.

Amanda Ramirez: My daughter had just got out of the hospital and she was finally able to eat and all she wanted was rodizios. So my daughter, my boyfriend and I went and it was great. The food is excellent the service is excellent and I recommend this place to anyone. I have already recommended it to a few ofy family members that have went and they did not disappoint. Stephanie: I came here with my boyfriend from out of town. We were seated promptly. We had our pics taken by Nick the friendly Valet gent. Our server was mediocre. We were surprised that bread wasn't a staple and we had an upcharge of 2.00 for the 🥨 pretzel bread when the dinner plates were 40 bucks a person. We went here bc it was rated high and we are both of Hermanic descent. I am second generation half Bavarian and Austrian -Irish, while my sweetie is Swiss Irish. Our server could have been more outgoing. But the food, atmosphere,and the greeter and valet were otherwise top notch. We would recommend this destination resteraunt fir sure when in Milwaukee for sure!Parking: We had the sauerbraten and red cabbage. It is outstanding. Paid meter pking or paid valet plenty of pking.

Madyun Wilson: Although we only sat at the bar The Diplomat is an amazing hidden treasure. We received 5-star dining service on Brady which is a very energetic neighborhood. Parking was quicker than usual and we were seated immediately. Our waiters and bartenders were exceptional representing this fine establishment. The steak was cooked to perfection the short rib as well. The hash brown fish fry was to die for and the drinks are strong! What more could we ask for, definitely an upscale choice I would consider again!

Jcg Gee: Went here for the first time yesterday for a family members birthday. Not the best atmosphere at all. The place is kind of dark and the decor is really dated. But the service was great. Majority of The food items we selected to share were really good. The cocktails were amazing as well. I am not a huge fan of sharable plates. But I enjoyed the restaurant.

Kathryn O'Donnell: The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The fried chicken on a house-made biscuit was absolutely delicious, with amazing flavors that I am sure to be dreaming about. Sitting at the bar and watching the staff enjoy their work only added to the overall experience. The cocktails are crafted and delicious. You won't be disappointed!
Susan Dickinson: We came here at the end of a weekend getaway to MKE and it was the perfect way to end our trip. We could not stop talking about how amazing the food was! Our group had the BELTCH, the Wulfundido, the two egg breakfast, and the pancakes. Everything was absolutely incredible. The coffee was also great, and we had fun watching the barista do his magic -- he was amazing. Wait staff were kind, efficient, and attentive. The price was very reasonable for how amazing the food is! Highly highly recommend this place.

Jessica: I live in the far north suburbs in Illinois and sometimes visit the Harbor House when I'm in the area. I have tried a few different entrees and plan on ordering a different dish each visit.Their Crispy Pork Belly appetizer is delicious. There's a nice, satisfying crunch to the pork belly skin and the meat itself is tender. The Hudson Canyon Sea Scallops entree comes with four perfectly seared sea scallops thoughtfully accompanied with salmon roe, which makes the flavors come together and pop – both literally and metaphorically. I've also had the Rainbow Trout entree, which was very fresh.It's refreshing to see that Harbor House offers two kinds of lobster rolls: Main-Style and Connecticut-Style. I prefer Connecticut-Style, so that's what I ordered at Harbor House. The kitchen is generous with the amount of lobster meat. The toasted Brioche bun is so good you can eat it on its own. I don't think Harbor House uses Maine lobster, but I wish they do because Maine lobster is still hands down by far the best tasting lobster because of it's naturally sweet flavor profile.Customer service at Harbor House is also outstanding. The hostess is always very friendly. Even though we didn't exchange eye contact as I was leaving the restaurant, the hostess wished me a good evening, which led me to turn around and wish her the same.I wasn't sure whether to rate the Harbor House 4 or 5 stars because the food is overly salty. The heavy salt content reacts with the acidity of some of their dishes and made my mouth tingle. That's my only issue with the food at Harbor House, but it doesn't really stop me from visiting again when I'm in the area. 5 stars anyway.

Ming Hwong: We ordered the paella and street ceviche. Highly recommend! Everything was very good and would come back.Don’t sit by the bar, it was very cold as the vent was blowing directly towards the barstools. And the stools were very uncomfortable to sit on.
Mary Kraft: We went here for the first time yesterday. The atmosphere is great and the restaurant is clean. We tried the empanadas - both regular and gluten free. They were excellent, especially accompanied with the delicious sauces. We enjoyed them so much we left with five boxes of frozen empanadas and three bottles of sauce. I can’t wait to introduce more people to this great restaurant.

WI Biker: The MOTOR bar is one of our favorites, especially when there are Harley Davidson events going on.FoodThe food here has great flavor and the menu does have a dynamic range of specials along with good regular offerings. The cajun chicken sandwich is one of my absolute favorites that I get on a regular basis. It's really good and always well made. The burgers have always been good too so if you are going for beef instead of chicken it's a good choice on that range. We also really like the buffalo wings that have a decent amount of heat and the wings themselves are good sized too.ServiceThe employees have always been great and they give great service. Very friendly and attentive throughout the meal.

Wi Antech: Had Friday night dinner with my family which included 4 children. The area we sat in was large enough to handle our group of 7 where I could interact and talk with everyone. The kids received a drink in a thin plastic cup which was decorated with child friendly HD designs and a cute bendy straw. Their food smelled and looked amazing. Most importantly they finished their two hamburger sliders and most of the fries which were served on frisbees! My fish fry was delicious, the corn bread amazing and coleslaw great. My daughter had the Caesar salad and my son in law the wings. Marah, our waitress was very attentive and on the spot with our requests and interacting with the kids. Great job Marah!! We’ll be back.

Thomas W: The new staff was a bit of a disappointment. Have been coming here for years. I waited as the the 2 behind bar were on their phones. The couple next to me had glasses empty and was ready to pay. The bartender didn't even help them or notice until after me. I ordered the burger and after ringing it in then asked, "oh, how do you want that?"I understand the new staff. Hope they will step it up because you are following in shoes that need to continue. Miss the old staff. Be more attentive at bar and personality goes along away. Not really into the, " What do you want?" Attiude. Be a bit more aware and courteous of people at bar.All good, just a different atmosphere than in the past. And as I was typing this 2 other couples asked us for our menus. The bartenders were not even here.Great food! But disappointed in service.
