Carmen Garcia Sirera: Amilinda delivers authenticity. There are many restaurants out there claiming culinary uniqueness, but at the end they fall short. Amilinda brings the flavors of Spain and Portugal without creating copycat versions of traditional Iberian Peninsula dishes. All the dishes arw prepared and made to deliver an experience. And thar experience does not end with the amazing dishes. The casual but classy ambience can be experienced from the moment walking in, to sitting in the table or counter for dinner, to the interaction with the wonderful staff. Love coming here not just for special occasions, but anytime we want exceptional food delivered with a wonderful time.
Patricia Gabarra: Delicious as always! I dined in with some friends on Feb 7, 2024. It had been a while, as a don’t live in Milwaukee. Everyone loved their appetizers and enthusiastically shared them - Spanish style. I selected the braised endives and their were delicious and a very light and clever preparation. As much as I love tasty veggies I also like meat. So it was a familiar and comforting choice for me: the pork carcamusa. The serving was generous as usual and the good thing about this dish is that it is just as good if not better as a leftover - YUM. The bartender proposed his Spanish twist on a Mai Tai and it was delicious. Service was friendly and casual and the dining atmosphere can’t be beat if you are looking for charm with a genuine flair of a Mediterranean restaurant. It reminds me of home, Spain, every time. Gavin Lee: I really enjoyed the service and food! Unfortunately the ‘ automatic 18% service charge’ goes to the restaurant and not the waitress I had. I understand owning a local restaurant is not easy but this did make my bill higher than it needed to be since I am still leaving an additional tip for my waitress. amber williams: FLAVOR TOWN!! We ordered the Cocas De Zetas Con Chorizo and ceviche as appetizer. The flatbread was a bit greasy but we didn’t mind, so cheesy and flavorful. Ceviche was marinated so well, amazing with the fresh tortilla chips. Our entrees was the Camarones Antigua and Cochinita Pibil. I have tried a lot of Cochinita, and this was by far the best. I just wish there was more tortillas with it. The camarone antigua was fantastic as well, the chipotle sauce really pieced the entire dish together wonderfully. The black gold margarita is a must. The place is clean and looks pretty inside, atmosphere gives off the vibe of being at a tias house, very homey.

Siena: Had a lovely time there on New Year’s Eve. Dinner was delicious! Black truffle ravioli was great. Veal soup wasn’t what we expected but it was okay. Scallops is so far the best of all the restaurants I’ve been to! The filet mignon was overcooked when I cut it open but they quickly had it remade and It was cooked perfectly the second time. We loved both dessert, thought chocolate would be really heavy and dense but it melted in your mouth right away and the flavor and sweetness were just perfect for us. Overall it was a great experience. We stayed for the party and really enjoyed our time there. Will be going back to try their regular menu for sure!

Jcg Gee: Went here for the first time yesterday for a family members birthday. Not the best atmosphere at all. The place is kind of dark and the decor is really dated. But the service was great. Majority of The food items we selected to share were really good. The cocktails were amazing as well. I am not a huge fan of sharable plates. But I enjoyed the restaurant.

Oriel61: The sour cream and chive fries are scrumptious. Cheese curds are perfectly crisp. The mozzarella wontons are good I suppose, if you like that sort of thing. I myself prefer breaded mozzarella sticks. The loaded fries are good, but there was something sweet under them that I did not like. Their special sauce is sweet and tangy, not a fan of it.

Joseph Henderson: Capital Grill is always one of my favorites. I love the service but for some reason I have been a little disappointed in their food. This round had lobster bisque and salmon with couscous. The lobster bisque was amazing. The salmon and couscous lacked flavor and salt. Brady Donahue: High end steakhouse that doesn't disappoint. Brooke was knowledgeable and attentive. Started with the seafood tower for 5 of us, plenty of seafood for a starter. Rib cab steaks and filet for the table all were excellent.Beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

We had excellent service, were greeted at our table and visited with both the manager DeVante and assistant Kyle along with other staff that assisted with water, etc. Brooke was our waitress, our servers were Eric and Michael; all three could not have been more attentive to our needs, while respecting our privacy. We met Chef Todd and his kitchen crew after the meal to thank them for the wonderful meal. Our food choices did not disappoint, all were cooked to our request and done superbly. I highly recommend Rare Steakhouse Milwaukee!

We each also got some espresso because all of that eating had us exhausted.Alex and Devante stopped by the table periodically to chat. We had such a great time making small talk and learning about the establishment. After dinner we explore their library which is full of vintage books. It's hard to choose a highlight to our trip because everything was perfection. We haven't stopped talking about our visit and are recommending everyone try out this top tier steakhouse!!

Jessica: I live in the far north suburbs in Illinois and sometimes visit the Harbor House when I'm in the area. I have tried a few different entrees and plan on ordering a different dish each visit.Their Crispy Pork Belly appetizer is delicious. There's a nice, satisfying crunch to the pork belly skin and the meat itself is tender. The Hudson Canyon Sea Scallops entree comes with four perfectly seared sea scallops thoughtfully accompanied with salmon roe, which makes the flavors come together and pop – both literally and metaphorically. I've also had the Rainbow Trout entree, which was very fresh.It's refreshing to see that Harbor House offers two kinds of lobster rolls: Main-Style and Connecticut-Style. I prefer Connecticut-Style, so that's what I ordered at Harbor House. The kitchen is generous with the amount of lobster meat. The toasted Brioche bun is so good you can eat it on its own. I don't think Harbor House uses Maine lobster, but I wish they do because Maine lobster is still hands down by far the best tasting lobster because of it's naturally sweet flavor profile.Customer service at Harbor House is also outstanding. The hostess is always very friendly. Even though we didn't exchange eye contact as I was leaving the restaurant, the hostess wished me a good evening, which led me to turn around and wish her the same.I wasn't sure whether to rate the Harbor House 4 or 5 stars because the food is overly salty. The heavy salt content reacts with the acidity of some of their dishes and made my mouth tingle. That's my only issue with the food at Harbor House, but it doesn't really stop me from visiting again when I'm in the area. 5 stars anyway.

Morgan S: Stopped in at Braise last night with a friend for the 3-course dinner! You won’t find better ingredients or a better deal. It is truly a one of a kind dining experience and the food is AMAZING—not to mention generously portioned. From start to finish you get a choice between two delicious appetizers, two main course items, and choice between two desserts. This was my second time to Braise and I look forward to coming back. I had the mushroom risotto and highly recommend it. The waitstaff and bartenders are very friendly and add to the overall experience. Perfect for date night with the hubby, or drinks with your girlfriends!
Angela Zuniga: Great service every time we dine in! Perfect date night or even our larger girls nights out are always a hit when we dine at Braise. The waitstaff makes sure we are well taken care of and and is knowledgeable about the food they are serving. They accommodate our many dietary restrictions and the food is always fresh and delicious! Easily the best date night spot in Milwaukee. A must visit.
Liz Fiene: First time having Xiao long bao and I have never had anything like this before! It was my favorite item we tried of the night, would definitely have again if it appeared back on the menu. I love that the ingredients are local and the menu rotates to bring me out of my comfort zone and try new things. Since m still exploring and determining what flavors I like/don’t like, I enjoy that the bartenders can make me something with just some personal input and some questions. I’ve only been here during the winter season but I am looking forward to patio season and I hope they have the patio/rooftop open in addition to their normal seating once summer hits! I just signed up for their tamales cooking class in May and I am looking forward to seeing this side of the restaurant next!
Megan Fiene: I love coming to Braise and eating in the bar area. Their booths and candle lights give a cozy atmosphere and can make a perfect date night. Sit at the bar to enjoy fun conversations and witness Flan and Evan crafting up the amazing cocktails behind the bar. Even if you don’t see a drink on the menu that catches your eyes, they can make anything you are feeling or give them the freedom to surprise you with a “dealers choice” cocktail. Ingrid Davis: I absolutely cannot express how AMAZING Braise Restaurant & Culinary School was for our reception. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue. We reserved the upstairs room, including the outdoor space that provided a beautiful view of the city.Becky Ayala, the restaurant manager, was a dream to work with. She was responsive to my emails and detail-oriented, which was so helpful during the reception planning process.The beautifully decorated room dazzled guests the moment they arrived at Braise and established the vibe for the rest of the room’s design. We also loved having the outdoor space, which was perfectly decorated, with floral arrangements placed everywhere. We opted for a family-style dinner. Locally sourced seasonal food inspired the menu of Mixed Green Salad, Lemon Risotto, Montreal Chicken and Soy Braised Beef. The food was delicious and the two wedding cocktails, Crazy Dave’s Old Fashioned and Rhubarb Lemonade were wonderful and flavorful. Our waiter, Kira and David, our bartender, were exceptional and on top of everything. The timing of the dishes was efficiently paced to allow sufficient time in between dishes.Everything was superb, and our guests raved about the venue and the food. I cannot recommend Becky and her team highly enough. You will not regret booking your venue in Braise.
Chrissi Quinn: We had our wedding dinner here and the catering was phenomenal. We booked out the first floor and the split between cocktails in the bar area and dinner in the dining room was a nice little change of setting. The braised beef, pork buns, and chocolate mouse were hits, guests even took leftovers home. The lemon curd wedding cake made by the pastry chefs was great and beautifully but tastefully decorated. I hope we can come back for all our anniversaries.Wheelchair accessibility: My significant other's mom is in an electric wheelchair and it was easy for her to get in and navigate around the first floor.

Jennifer Withers: We love this place so much we now regularly drive two hours to eat here. The cake will change your life. Don't skip it. The servings are HUGE, and I've never had a meal I didn't like.Things to know that to me add so much charm:-The menu changes every day, no, you can't see it ahead of time.-It's tiny, cozy, and intimate.-If you want to be seated right when they open, you'll have to join the line outside which usually forms 30-45 minutes before opening. Even in the winter months.-The cake is a homemade family recipe. It's actually perfect.-All the staff are so friendly. We always love seeing our server!Highly, highly recommend.

Ben Hornickle: I’m not one to write reviews, but this absolutely blew me away. The service is the best I’ve ever had. Incredible knowledge of the menu. The menu has constantly rotating entrees and they all sounded delicious. They have one chef in a small kitchen and the food he produces makes a mockery of anything I’ve ever been served. The price is amazingly affordable for the quality of service and dining you will receive. Truly a hidden gem of milwaukee and the Midwest. A must visit. We will be back regularly.
