Sanford: what do users think?

Billy Harlow: Wonderful food Cozy atmosphere, very good for romantic evenings. The wife and I will definitely be going here again.Recommended dishes …

Scott V: Omylort was this good.We chose the 7 course tasting with pairing and could not have been more pleased.Of all the dishes the scallop was probably my favorite for one simple reason... I liked it. Normally I will not eat scallops because the texture or flavor or both are a turn off, but not with these. These had enough firmness to not be jell-o-ie, yet still weren't tough. They didn't have a 'dirty' flavor that I often experience, but had a very nice caramel crisp from being seared. Talking to our waiter, it turns out they get them "dry packed" and that maintains the freshness as though straight off the boat.Whatever the reason, WOW.Now for what was my real favorite turned out to be the goose sausage and duck, although personal preference is that the duck be just slightly more cooked, that did not take away from the dish.Every bit of love a chef could put into their profession went into this meal. Were it proper to give a huge to the person that pleased the tastes this well, I'd go back just to give a firm embrace of thanks.Amazing, thank you.

Bacchus - A Bartolotta Restaurant: what do users think?

Timothy Rose: and lastly, thank you to the valet parking attendant for being so speedy and gracious. Go.

Joshua Guiles: I was there for a dinner event. The decor and atmosphere was immaculate! The room we were in had so much natural light, I think I enjoyed it more than most.I had the filet, it was 10/10.Sarah was one of the servers that took care of us and she was incredible. This place is definitely swanky. Bringing a date here will definitely impress. You can also see the lake from the room in the photos. There was also valet parking.

Cathy Gorski: This was a birthday treat for me. Hadn't had a "Wow!"meal in awhile. This meal had many Wows. Everything was really good. Staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. Food was so good. And with rewards we had $25 off a bottle of wine. They recognized my birthday with a pretty and delicious dessert. Atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. All around really nice experience.

Weston Brice (Bricebox): Full disclosure: I am a Bartolotta employee. Also, everything here is fantastic! Cocktails are inventive yet familiar, the food is excellent and innovative. This is the spot to show off Milwaukee and Bartolotta to a visiting guest.Kid-friendliness: Please don't

Jillian Faye: We celebrated my birthday here last weekend and everything was phenomenal! Our server Sarah and her assistant Zoe were fantastic! They both were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The cocktails were delicious! Our appetizer and our 3 course dinner were to die for! We were so stuffed by the end of our dining experience! We will definitely be back for another indulgent evening!Parking: We had no issue finding free street parking almost immediately on a Friday night around 7:30pm.

Siena: Had a lovely time there on New Year’s Eve. Dinner was delicious! Black truffle ravioli was great. Veal soup wasn’t what we expected but it was okay. Scallops is so far the best of all the restaurants I’ve been to! The filet mignon was overcooked when I cut it open but they quickly had it remade and It was cooked perfectly the second time. We loved both dessert, thought chocolate would be really heavy and dense but it melted in your mouth right away and the flavor and sweetness were just perfect for us. Overall it was a great experience. We stayed for the party and really enjoyed our time there. Will be going back to try their regular menu for sure!

Ardent: what do users think?

Erika Pedersen: The only pre fee coursed meal I'd experienced before coming to Ardent was Thomas Keller's Per Se.... Let me tell you, this experience at Ardent exceeded every past "elite" dining experience I've had. Each course was well thought out and beautifully executed. Highlights on our menu were the curry carrot cake and the uni onion soup. Each course held an element of surprise and finesse. I asked my boyfriend to take my back here for my birthday. Everyone cross your fingers!!!!

John Ess: Definitely one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at in the world. Every dish was fantastic. The food was very interesting, with innovative ingredients. More importantly, unlike some fine dining restaurants, they made sure that every innovative dish was absolutely delicious. Particularly the koji ice cream with brown rice and caviar, the shiitake rooibos tea, and the madras carrot cake. They also made great substitutions for my pescatarian wife. Excellent beverage pairing as well, and perfect portion sizes. Can't wait to come back!Vegetarian options: They can make a vegetarian tasting menu, with great veggie options.

Erin Carlson Rivera: if we had any food restrictions. I never felt like I was missing out, the food felt complete no matter if they took something out for me.

Keith Wisniewski: Stopped by for the opening of the lounge, and it exceeded expectations. The quality is the exact same you would expect from their tasting menu, the prices are more than reasonable for the quality, and the staff is top notch as usual. The lounge idea turned Ardent from an annual event location to a spot for a usual date night. If you don't at least try it, you're missing out.

Jamie: We went here for our 10 year wedding anniversary. This was the greatest dining experience we have ever had. The staff were wonderful and kind. The food was outstanding. It was cool to see the kitchen plating and have every dish explained. Highly suggest getting the wine pairing. I have never had a drink paired so well with the food. It brought out so many different flavors. Everyone made you feel welcomed and answered any questions we may have had. Overall 10/10 experience. We can not wait to go back!! Thank you for an amazing night and experience!

Jason Brewer: Ardent’s Door County Residency at Hidden Acres Farm was Classy, Cozy, Relaxed and most importantly DELICIOUS!! Justin and his AMAZING colleagues did a fantastic job and the setting couldn’t have been anymore BEAUTIFUL😊I would HIGHLY recommend taking advantage of dining with Ardent in Door County if you have the opportunity!

Milwaukee Steakhouse: what do users think?

Marjorie Schwieger: Unfortunately prices have increased…. a 6oz tenderloin has increased over 35%…PLUS a 3.5% service charge! We've been coming here for years and are disappointed in the changes. Unfortunately we will not return. There are plenty of other steakhouses equal toMilwaukee steakhouse. Sad.

Melonie P: My first visit to the Milwaukee Steakhouse: Huge parking lot, easy to find. Great service. I ordered the boneless ribeye, it was a little bit tough, the others in my group ordered the tenderloin and said it was very good. The creamed corn and baked onion soup were delicious, the baked potatoes were huge! Loved the relish tray and bread loaf. The wine and lemon drop martini were good. Desserts looked and sounded delicious, too full, maybe next time.😋

Ward's House of Prime: what do users think?

Joshua Weber: Not a surprise, but you should get the prime rib. It was cooked perfectly with great flavor. A different person in our group got the ribeye and it was good, not great.Recommended dishes Signature Prime Rib Dinner, Lobster Bisque …

lezar burnside: I took my wife we enjoyed the conversation and atmosphere. Our server was excellent.Vegetarian options: They were great

David Bonilla: Overall, this was an OK-at-best experience considering the expectations I had for the prices. As our app, we had the tuna tar-tar. It was served on a bed of avocado salad. We shared a 16oz bone-in Prime rib. The meat was cooked well as ordered, but also a bit bland. We had a side of broccoli which was very bland, no spices or sauces, just steamed broccoli. The mushrooms were also nothing to brag about. Drinks, the Antioxidant was very good, and my Makers old fashioned was very good as well. Oh, and we had 2 rounds of bread, first round was warmed Hawaiian rolls. Not what I'd expect from a steakhouse. Second round they did bring a nicer bread, which is more along what I'd expect. Overall, a decent experience, but can't consider it an option knowing how many places in the area are exceptionally amazing. Shoutout to the service and staff. Everyone was very friendly and on point.

The Noble: what do users think?

Jennifer Withers: We love this place so much we now regularly drive two hours to eat here. The cake will change your life. Don't skip it. The servings are HUGE, and I've never had a meal I didn't like.Things to know that to me add so much charm:-The menu changes every day, no, you can't see it ahead of time.-It's tiny, cozy, and intimate.-If you want to be seated right when they open, you'll have to join the line outside which usually forms 30-45 minutes before opening. Even in the winter months.-The cake is a homemade family recipe. It's actually perfect.-All the staff are so friendly. We always love seeing our server!Highly, highly recommend.

Crystal Mariza Bucio: that I will be craving for the rest of my life! Although seating is limited, getting in for early dinner was great. Food and service was stellar! Definitely a new favorite spot!

Ben Hornickle: I’m not one to write reviews, but this absolutely blew me away. The service is the best I’ve ever had. Incredible knowledge of the menu. The menu has constantly rotating entrees and they all sounded delicious. They have one chef in a small kitchen and the food he produces makes a mockery of anything I’ve ever been served. The price is amazingly affordable for the quality of service and dining you will receive. Truly a hidden gem of milwaukee and the Midwest. A must visit. We will be back regularly.

Mader's Restaurant: what do users think?

Stephanie: I came here with my boyfriend from out of town. We were seated promptly. We had our pics taken by Nick the friendly Valet gent. Our server was mediocre. We were surprised that bread wasn't a staple and we had an upcharge of 2.00 for the 🥨 pretzel bread when the dinner plates were 40 bucks a person. We went here bc it was rated high and we are both of Hermanic descent. I am second generation half Bavarian and Austrian -Irish, while my sweetie is Swiss Irish. Our server could have been more outgoing. But the food, atmosphere, and the greeter and valet were otherwise top notch. We would recommend this destination resteraunt fir sure when in Milwaukee for sure!Parking: We had the sauerbraten and red cabbage. It is outstanding. Paid meter pking or paid valet plenty of pking.

Эрик А: Got to skip school while on a trip to this restaurant. Didn't even try any dishes. Freakin' love this place.Update: the waitress is kinda a hottie ngl.I've arrived again, THE WAITRESS IS FIRE!!! I recommend it to everyone.

Ellen Breithaupt: I started with liver dumpling soup, which was delicious, & much to my surprise my granddaughter loved it! I then had salmon from the “lighter side” of the menu, it was delicious, perfectly prepared & served atop red bell pepper flavored spaetzle. My granddaughter said her chicken fingers & fries were the best she’s ever had!Our major letdown was the Apple strudel. Mader’s desserts have been wonderful in the past. This wasn’t! It was apples wrapped up in phyllo

Dave Maier: The long hallway in the back of the restaurant has pictures of all the celebrities that have dined there. Pretty fun to look at.I HIGHLY recommend Maders

Morel: what do users think?

Kathryn O'Donnell: I had dinner there tonight. I ordered the lamb carpaccio. It was absolute heaven! I can not wait to go back for this dish and to try everything else on the menu. When I called to make reservations for 1, they saved me a spot at the bar to watch the chefs in action. This restaurant is obsessive. Very excited to check out the wine dinners they are offering.I finally feel like Milwaukee is growing on me after moving here 9 months ago.

Jason: Lots of wood and brick inside. A giant chalkboard of local farms that support the restaurant is displayed over the bar area. Pretty sure everything on the menu is sourced locally, at least that was the impression I got. This really shows in the flavors.Food portions are incredibly generous for the price. This is the spot to go for morel mushrooms if they are in season.Drinks are great. Nice balance of flavors there too. Main course Trout is really fantastic. This was completely deboned, but presented as whole. Hopefully that's how all their fish is served.Dessert fell a bit short compared to the flavor, creativity and ingredients in the starters and mains. Maybe I just picked the wrong one. Would come back.

Michelle Alvarez: and the trout. They managed to make the polenta taste cheesy, and it was super savory. It was the only time I've liked it. The mushrooms served on top were tangy and a perfect pair with the polenta. The trout was very tender and had big flavor. The duck breast and rabbit ragout were also great. I enjoyed the goat cheesecake. I was skeptical because goat cheese can have a strong flavor, but it was perfect. There was a large selection of wine and delicious cocktails. Beautiful interior with lots of warm lighting and artwork. A very welcoming place. I would absolutely return, mostly for that polenta!

Kristi Duban: I rarely leave reviews but I can’t help myself with this one… this place was absolutely amazing, I truly have no idea what took me so long to make it here. The food was incredible, highlights for me being the pork shoulder and beef short rib… cooked to perfection. The goat cheesecake was to die for. Service was top notch. Start to finish it was such an excellent meal and already can’t wait to go back.

Braise Restaurant & Culinary School: what do users think?

Morgan S: Stopped in at Braise last night with a friend for the 3-course dinner! You won’t find better ingredients or a better deal. It is truly a one of a kind dining experience and the food is AMAZING—not to mention generously portioned. From start to finish you get a choice between two delicious appetizers, two main course items, and choice between two desserts. This was my second time to Braise and I look forward to coming back. I had the mushroom risotto and highly recommend it. The waitstaff and bartenders are very friendly and add to the overall experience. Perfect for date night with the hubby, or drinks with your girlfriends!

Angela Zuniga: Great service every time we dine in! Perfect date night or even our larger girls nights out are always a hit when we dine at Braise. The waitstaff makes sure we are well taken care of and and is knowledgeable about the food they are serving. They accommodate our many dietary restrictions and the food is always fresh and delicious! Easily the best date night spot in Milwaukee. A must visit.

Liz Fiene: First time having Xiao long bao and I have never had anything like this before! It was my favorite item we tried of the night, would definitely have again if it appeared back on the menu. I love that the ingredients are local and the menu rotates to bring me out of my comfort zone and try new things. Since m still exploring and determining what flavors I like/don’t like, I enjoy that the bartenders can make me something with just some personal input and some questions. I’ve only been here during the winter season but I am looking forward to patio season and I hope they have the patio/rooftop open in addition to their normal seating once summer hits! I just signed up for their tamales cooking class in May and I am looking forward to seeing this side of the restaurant next!

Megan Fiene: I love coming to Braise and eating in the bar area. Their booths and candle lights give a cozy atmosphere and can make a perfect date night. Sit at the bar to enjoy fun conversations and witness Flan and Evan crafting up the amazing cocktails behind the bar. Even if you don’t see a drink on the menu that catches your eyes, they can make anything you are feeling or give them the freedom to surprise you with a “dealers choice” cocktail. I love that the food menu changes every few weeks, one of the many reasons I keep coming back!Vegetarian options: They update their menu often and always mark if the food is vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free n

Ingrid Davis: I absolutely cannot express how AMAZING Braise Restaurant & Culinary School was for our reception. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue. We reserved the upstairs room, including the outdoor space that provided a beautiful view of the city.Becky Ayala, the restaurant manager, was a dream to work with. She was responsive to my emails and detail-oriented, which was so helpful during the reception planning process. The beautifully decorated room dazzled guests the moment they arrived at Braise and established the vibe for the rest of the room’s design. We also loved having the outdoor space, which was perfectly decorated, with floral arrangements placed everywhere. We opted for a family-style dinner. Locally sourced seasonal food inspired the menu of Mixed Green Salad, Lemon Risotto, Montreal Chicken and Soy Braised Beef. The food was delicious and the two wedding cocktails, Crazy Dave’s Old Fashioned and Rhubarb Lemonade were wonderful and flavorful. Our waiter, Kira and David, our bartender, were exceptional and on top of everything. The timing of the dishes was efficiently paced to allow sufficient time in between dishes.Everything was superb, and our guests raved about the venue and the food. I cannot recommend Becky and her team highly enough. You will not regret booking your venue in Braise.

Chrissi Quinn: We had our wedding dinner here and the catering was phenomenal. We booked out the first floor and the split between cocktails in the bar area and dinner in the dining room was a nice little change of setting. The braised beef, pork buns, and chocolate mouse were hits, guests even took leftovers home. The lemon curd wedding cake made by the pastry chefs was great and beautifully but tastefully decorated. I hope we can come back for all our anniversaries.Wheelchair accessibility: My significant other's mom is in an electric wheelchair and it was easy for her to get in and navigate around the first floor.

Dream Dance Steakhouse: what do users think?

Aaron T. Howard: Bone-in NY Strip, taters and asparagus, one drink, plus tip, $120. For the price, just okay. Steak was juicy, bone-on was nice but was overcooked by at least 15 degrees. Ordered medium-rare and received medium-well to well; only pink was in the thicker section. Totally a let down for a $75 cut. Rated at 22oz but doesn't note the bone, just listed as Strip. Would order again and eat here again, just expecting more for the price point and experience. What should one do if this was half the cut for twice the price? Ate the food, didn't insist on a remake and was told other diners shared the same complaint.

danita briggs: I actually enjoyed myself. I had read terrible reviews prior to going but everything was the complete opposite. My friends had steak and said it was really good. I had the chicken leg quarter and it wasn't done to my liking initially but I had them chill it a few more minutes and it was fine. I did feel it was a bit small but it tasted good . I also had purple potatoes and asparagus which was good. The margaritas were on point BUT not worth $16 each lol. Overall it was a good experience. Our wait staff was very friendly and attentative.

Lagniappe Brasserie: what do users think?

Billy G: This was with out a doubt the best meal of my life. Everything was perfect. We had scallops, halibut, venison, all cooked and seasoned to perfection. The service and ambience was top notch. For dessert we had an almond roasted pear .. incredible ! The evening was so great I took a copy of the menu to remind me how special of a night this was. From now on every time I am in Milwaukee I will arrange my schedule to make sure Lagniappe is a part of it. Just plain phenomenal. Thank you to chef Andy and all his employees for a remarkable experience.

E Will: Lagniappe Brasserie has been a favorite gem of a restaurant of mine for many years. Chef Andrew Tenaglia never fails to bring fresh, locally sourced food to the table. In all the years of operation, I have have never had a bad meal and the service has always been spectaculator. I was happy to hear about and support curb-side pick up during the COVID-19 epidemic. I encourage to place an order or two to help support this local independently owned and operated area restaurant so they will be there for us in the future.

Chris Dziewa: Small place with great food. We were in and out within an hour because of their efficiency. It was not busy, but the food was excellent and our server was good. I had the salad and the ribeye steak. The steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare. The fat melted in my mouth. They also had bread service with oil and paté. The server brought us a sampling of gourmet meatballs on the house. I had been wanting to stop here for years and finally got to go here with my parents and my partner. I highly recommend stopping by for dinner.

Margie Lochowicz: My husband and I decided to celebrate my birthday at a restaurant we had never been at before. We were met immediately by a friendly waitress. She explained the menu fully, and we both decided on soup, a ribeye steak, and mashed potatoes . The steak was ordered medium, and it was done perfectly. We both had one drink, and my husband said his drink was the best he's had in a very long time. I'm sorry I didn't take a picture of my meal because the steak was quite a good size for a ribeye and the presentation of the meal was beautiful. We are very happy with our choice this year, and we will be back. Also we will see you at the Wisconsin State Fair next summer . One last thought..... the atmosphere was very pleasant and quiet. We could speak to each other and hear each other, something that you don't experience in other restaurants, but that we both appreciate .Parking: There is plenty of parking for this quaint restaurant, but it could have better lighting.

Amilinda: what do users think?

Carmen Garcia Sirera: Amilinda delivers authenticity. There are many restaurants out there claiming culinary uniqueness, but at the end they fall short. Amilinda brings the flavors of Spain and Portugal without creating copycat versions of traditional Iberian Peninsula dishes. All the dishes arw prepared and made to deliver an experience. And thar experience does not end with the amazing dishes. The casual but classy ambience can be experienced from the moment walking in, to sitting in the table or counter for dinner, to the interaction with the wonderful staff. Love coming here not just for special occasions, but anytime we want exceptional food delivered with a wonderful time.

Patricia Gabarra: Delicious as always! I dined in with some friends on Feb 7, 2024. It had been a while, as a don’t live in Milwaukee. Everyone loved their appetizers and enthusiastically shared them - Spanish style. I selected the braised endives and their were delicious and a very light and clever preparation. As much as I love tasty veggies I also like meat. So it was a familiar and comforting choice for me: the pork carcamusa. The serving was generous as usual and the good thing about this dish is that it is just as good if not better as a leftover - YUM. The bartender proposed his Spanish twist on a Mai Tai and it was delicious. Service was friendly and casual and the dining atmosphere can’t be beat if you are looking for charm with a genuine flair of a Mediterranean restaurant. It reminds me of home, Spain, every time. Thank you Amilinda team!Vegetarian options: There has always been a nice vegetarian option every time I’ve been.

Vincent Vega: . The steak melted in my mouth like butter and the potatoes tasted like my great aunt’s that she would make for family meals during the summer. I don’t even have a great aunt. The point i’m making is the meal i had here takes you places and paints pictures in your head and creates memories i don’t actually have. Hats off to the chef’s and kitchen. For dessert we had the warm apple cake with the coñac ice cream. The cake was delicious and the ice cream had just the right amount of flavor to not make it feel like you’re eating a scoop of Hennessy. Genesis Restaurant: what do users think?

Donna Guerrero: I will be so sorry to hear that they are closing there doors. Before Covid I use to go there frequently. But when they shortened there hours I wasn’t able to go there as much. There genius idea of the soup and salad bar was more then fantastic. No one in the area makes the best soup. I remember when there smoking ban started they would allow people to take there coffees outside to have a smoke.

Tilly Benson: Fun place for a Christmas dinner.
