You’ve got to make a reservation and have amazing food the Milwaukee Cop House’s own select aged steak. Yummy!! Everything that you order on the menu is fabulous and provides great enjoyment. Have personally dined at Milwaukee Cop House on many occasions this past year and this year too. Great place to have dinner before your Bucks game or other events in Downtown Milwaukee.

James Heitmann: My friend and I booked a last minute reservation for New Years Eve and let me tell you we were NOT disappointed! The restaurant itself really gives you that boogie fantasy. Our server Josue was phenomenal. He really gave us great recommendations on the menu. My friend and I both agreed our filet was the bets we have ever had. The meat was like butter it was so soft and tender. We also did the trio sides which was a great way to try a variety of side dishes. Dessert was also delicious! We had the Carmel cheesecake. We definitely will come back for future events!

Siena: Had a lovely time there on New Year’s Eve. Dinner was delicious! Black truffle ravioli was great. Veal soup wasn’t what we expected but it was okay. Scallops is so far the best of all the restaurants I’ve been to! The filet mignon was overcooked when I cut it open but they quickly had it remade and It was cooked perfectly the second time. We loved both dessert, thought chocolate would be really heavy and dense but it melted in your mouth right away and the flavor and sweetness were just perfect for us. Overall it was a great experience. We stayed for the party and really enjoyed our time there. Will be going back to try their regular menu for sure!

This round had lobster bisque and salmon with couscous. The lobster bisque was amazing. The salmon and couscous lacked flavor and salt. I know salt is objective but even when added it lacked other flavors. I am providing a great review because service is always top notch.

Steve DiGregorio: First time here from out of town, i sat at the bar for dinner as I was dining alone. The bar tender was very friendly, attentive and had some good suggestions on the menu. I ended up starting with the mussels which were excellent, the sauce was great to dip the warm bread in. The Carbonara was good as well, I thought the portion size was good, in house made pasta, cooked slightly al denté which is exactly how it should be. Very nice. The wine selection is good, with plenty of great Italian wines to choose from, and even wines by the glass had a nice selection. It was a pleasant experience. I will be back.

Mern: Zarletti’s is always food prepared well. Two criticisms exist each time I visit. First is that presented with specials of the day prices should be included or expressed by the server. A diner shouldn’t have to ask. It’s uncomfortable for all concerned and unnecessary.The second relates to GF. Having a GF option available for pasta is very nice. But a $4 addition to the price for something that is not preferential but necessary is a slap in the face even if they do make their own. It says “we don’t really want to do it, but if you insist we will.” As GF pasta is never worth the calories, the added cost makes this menu option easy to pass up.Unfortunately then secondo options as backup are minimal. Having eaten my way around Italy I am aware that flour is not necessary to this portion of an Italian meal. And yet it is at Zarletti’s. Having to eat GF, and having eaten here four times, I have tried all that is possible with two of those choices being specials. Eating the special of the day can possibly be GF but with prices not listed, there’s a 50/50 chance of being costly and prohibitive so the check can be a surprise if you don’t ask the uncomfortable and obvious question. What is bothersome though is that many of the secondo options could easily be GF as would exist in Italy but there is no desire to make it so. So what remains is a sense that GF is not welcome.When all is considered, Zarletti’s is great food. If you’re GF and plan to eat here often your dining options are limited and possibly more costly.Atmosphere rec’d 3 stars because the music is too loud for the small space and the selection doesn’t add to ambiance but is rather an annoyance.

We’ve both had these dishes at other CH locations and found them to taste just as good here. The pretzel bread seemed fresher at this location than others we’ve been to. We had the Tuesday 2 person special and every single morsel put in front of us was an absolute treat. The table bread was warm, fresh and fluffy with 2 kinds of butter that I could write an entire review on alone. Cesar salads were fresh, crisp and delightful with amazing salty crunch from the crisp prosciutto. The side dishes were elevated delights. Their baked potato was better than most meals I've had at restaurants I enjoy!I have had A5 Wagu beef from the Kobe Prefecture 1 time in my life. Other than that, this is the best steak I have ever had. I have to point out that, A5 Wagu is cheating to begin with. The steak was seared and seasoned to absolute perfection. It did not need any sauce or additions, but the 3 salts they bring with it each add their own additional layer to the incredible flavors the steak already has.The bar is stocked and staffed by experts. Their wine list is excellent. The desserts are a decadent display of delicious decorum.In short. Go there. You will be very happy and very full.

Not sure if I trust restaurant manger, seemed to be playing around with the bill.

Bel: I had a delicious cup of coffee and ordered the following: Mushroom and spinach waffle. Bread pudding waffle with mushroom duxelle, broccolini, salad, feta, truffle oil, poached eggs and smoked shallot marmalade. Looks great....however, my waffle was burned and BLACK on the bottom. Also one egg was hard in the center, not poached. Not inedible, but it could have been an amazing dish if they hadn't plated the burned waffle. The accompanying salad had a very good dressing....love breakfast with some salad on the plate. Great atmosphere and service. I'll be back.

Jessica: I live in the far north suburbs in Illinois and sometimes visit the Harbor House when I'm in the area. I have tried a few different entrees and plan on ordering a different dish each visit.Their Crispy Pork Belly appetizer is delicious. There's a nice, satisfying crunch to the pork belly skin and the meat itself is tender. The Hudson Canyon Sea Scallops entree comes with four perfectly seared sea scallops thoughtfully accompanied with salmon roe, which makes the flavors come together and pop – both literally and metaphorically. I've also had the Rainbow Trout entree, which was very fresh.It's refreshing to see that Harbor House offers two kinds of lobster rolls: Main-Style and Connecticut-Style. I prefer Connecticut-Style, so that's what I ordered at Harbor House. The kitchen is generous with the amount of lobster meat. The toasted Brioche bun is so good you can eat it on its own. I don't think Harbor House uses Maine lobster, but I wish they do because Maine lobster is still hands down by far the best tasting lobster because of it's naturally sweet flavor profile.Customer service at Harbor House is also outstanding. The hostess is always very friendly. Even though we didn't exchange eye contact as I was leaving the restaurant, the hostess wished me a good evening, which led me to turn around and wish her the same.I wasn't sure whether to rate the Harbor House 4 or 5 stars because the food is overly salty. The heavy salt content reacts with the acidity of some of their dishes and made my mouth tingle. That's my only issue with the food at Harbor House, but it doesn't really stop me from visiting again when I'm in the area. 5 stars anyway.

Suzanne Boyd: Balzac has always felt a little overpriced for what it was, but sometimes worth it if that's just what we were in the mood for. However they are permanently closing soon.

A friend and I shared two small plates plus dessert and we were full. The brussel sprouts were fantastic, and the sauce with the pan seared snapper was so flavorful. The desserts also did not disappoint. The chocolate torte and the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake were both delicious. I will definitely be back for the wine and the food. 5 stars!

Brandon: Dined on a Sunday night at Balzac after recommendations from a couple of friends. The menu is constructed around shareable small plates, though there are some bigger entrees. There is plenty of wine to choose from though we didn't order any.We were seated quickly. It looked like there were only two servers for the dining room so I won't hold service against them on this visit. For as many tables as the servers worked, they stopped by plenty of times and were very pleasant. Depending where you sit, tables can be a bit too small and cluttered for sharing small plates.We did our best to share a couple of plates and also ordered cheeseburgers. We shared Peach Caprese and Sac Mac. Peach Caprese took full advantage of Peach season and kept this side simple and clean. I was a fan. The Sac Mac was well sauced and well balanced. Another win. The burger was delicious and straightforward; not an overwhelming amount of toppings. The french fries tasted exactly like McDonald's fries. Unsure if this is intentional. I would've preferred a thicker, twice fried french fry but their fries were not bad whatsoever.Overall, the prices at Balzac are reasonable and the portions fall in line with those prices. The food is prepared simply; they allow seasonal ingredients to shine. Execution was fine. I wasn't blown away by anything I ate, but nothing I had was bad. Balzac strikes me as a simple, reasonable and consistent local restaurant. I left satisfied and my wallet was happy with me. All wins in my book!

Carissa Heckel: BEST WINE IN MILWAUKEE COUNTY!!!!!! This venue is absolutely EPIC! Whether you're looking for indoors or outdoors, grab a bottle and enjoy your day/evening! Do not skip on the charcuterie board or the flat bread! So delicious and can't be missed! They also host special events such as jazz and cigar nights so keep an eye out!

Darcie Schilcher: If you are looking for a small quaint place to have a glass of wine or other spirits this is your place. The decor was very welcoming, I noticed people enjoy coming in to read a book with a glass of wine. When we went they didnt offer flights of wine to try, but did offer a sample for half the price of a glass of wine. Depending on your choice, a glass of wine ranges from $10 to $25. You can buy by the bottle. Their board offered cheese, pickles, olives, nuts and meats from different countries. One draw back if you need a restroom you have to be able to do a flight of stairs. The restroom is located downstairs looked to be a cellar. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
