Kate May: We went to Biltrite after seeing it suggested on the Milwaukee Reddit page for a great place to buy furniture. We were there to buy sofas. Nels helped us and gave us very useful insight and info on the different brands and while he was attentive and helpful, we never felt pressured or bothered when he came to check in on us. We purchased two sofas and are looking forward to their delivery later this week! We felt very good about our experience; Nels seemed to really care that we got a great price AND a great product and was not just trying to make a sale. Thank you!

In addition, my husband is 6'3" and I am 5'2" so what constitutes comfortable furniture for each of us is quite different. The only glitch was that delivery men almost left without taking the old mattresses with them, which I had already paid for. Thankfully one of the delivery men did stay while I called the store to straighten it out. The glitch was they had not been informed about my old mattresses. Everything was straightened out and the furniture looks wonderful.

Persickety Consumer: Jim the store manager and Reese the in store salesman were very helpful in trying to manage frustrating irregularities in an online order. They assisted as far as they could, assisted in getting the correct frame, then put me in contact with the correct party to deal with the online issue. In short, I learned that it is better to put your order in at the store front in case there are delivery issues rather than through the chat on the website. Through the chat I was not aware that I was not dealing with my local store. Online reps have inconsistent levels of knowledge.Also I learned that when placing orders a new account must be created each time so that the purchase goes under the correct name for warranty purposes. Do not allow reps to pull up an existing account through your phone number.With these cautions in mind I would not hesitate in working with the folks and buying from the Silver Spring Mattress Firm in the future.

Leah: They have some really nice beds and couches. I usually will come past here and they would be closed. Next door they have a thrift store as well with nice things like clothes, beds and couches. I guess they kind of open when they feel like it.

Heather Wilson: bed the overall height that we were looking for was ~27".Ericka was a wealth of knowledge, informing us that the average nightstand height was ~22" and that 25" would be almost the tallest nightstands that we could find that were indeed from the period.It was very clear that Ericka commands a deep understanding and knowledge of true mid-century pieces. I couldn't recommend her shop more for a truly curated collections of amazing pieces.We landed on an amazing set of nightstands that work wonderfully in the space. I think all thanks to Ericka taking the time with us.
