Taylor Barstow: Gorgeous house museum. First floor focuses on furnishings showing how the family lived plus a diverse and global art collection procured by the Allis family. Upper floor is more minimalist, showcasing temporary exhibits and contemporary local artists. This dual-function house means locals can return with confidence that they’ll see something new each time. And visitors and locals can glimpse into the past thanks to the first floor.
