Historic Milwaukee Store & Tours: what do users think?

Pat Kleist: Awesome and fun

HB: Great place to get any sort of souvenir !

Tim Garcia-Brown: Took a class on how to research the history of a house. Very informative.

Jason Scuglik: Wonderful little shop filled with all sorts of Milwaukee things. Great place to shop for books, posters, coasters and so much more.

Rick and Dani Gramza: Enjoyed our visit today. Amazing selection of gifts and historical literature. Nice Christmas ornaments, lots of books, puzzles, and prints! The employee, younger girl with brown curly hair, was not very friendly, spoke minimally, and the only words she spoke to anyone without approaching them first was to a couple where she said “you didn’t close the door!”We all have bad days but a positive first impression is always best, either mean it, fake it, or call in sick.

Stacey Yohannes: Loved the tour with Steve of the historic third ward. Very fun and informative and Steve's knowledge was great.

Mary Kubicek: Love going to the Milwaukee Historical Society store for note cards, prints, stickers and key chains. We love the Spaces and Traces Tour they sponsor. We thoroughly enjoyed their most recent tour May 2022. Love we could park once and walk to all 14 places on the tour.

Lizz Tsosie: Truly one of the best gift stores in all of Milwaukee. I go in every 3 months & always seem to find something new. It's pretty much where I do ALL of my Christmas shopping. For the last 2 years my mother in law has given me a gift certificate for my birthday here. She knows I love it so much!

Jillian Walker: If ever you need a great "Wisconsin" gift item, this is the place. They have beautiful art that even the lifelong Wisconsinite will appreciate and fun souvenirs for a visitor.

Maura Denise: The Hop tour was great. Awesome Milwaukee souvenirs and books.

Derek Schneider: This is a great souvenir shop in Milwaukee with great Milwaukee themed stuff. Books, bags, coasters, puzzles, posters, small store but many options.

Sarah F: Great customer service offering unique Milwaukee and WI gift items. MacKenna went above and beyond trying to help us locate one item and their curbside pickup was a breeze! Many thanks Historic Milwaukee!!

Hangman Tours: what do users think?

Mike Franzese: This was a pretty awesome experience! Christopher was a great tour guide in capturing my attention. If you're into trying new things and learning more about the area, this would be a great spot. The 3 level rooftop sitting, pretty cool too! Will be coming back for sure!

Janielle: Kirsten is awesome, highly recommend as your tour guide!

random guy: My daughters and I had such a wonderful time at the Shakey's 2.0 ghost tour. This was our first ghost tour ever, and Joe by far superceded all of our expectations. The tour was creepy scary and funny all at the same time. I can't wait to go back to Milwaukee and do it again. Also, the entire staff was so friendly and Joe are tour guide has great taste in music. I definitely recommend a thousand times.

Amy Higgins: The ghost tour at Shakers was fun. Our tour guide Joe was outgoing and informative. He told us about the history of Shakers which I found interesting. I'm a skeptic, but with Joe talking about the ghosts it made them real for me. In fact, before I left, I went to the ladies' room and found the spring-loaded water facet running and the sink almost overflowing. Out loud I said, "Elizabeth are you up to your shenanigans again?" The lights flickered and I laughed and told her to be a good girl.I also took the Cream City Cannibal tour about Jeffery Dahmer. Christopher was a wonderful tour guide. He really knew the Dahmer history. I enjoyed the personal history he gave of Dahmer. It makes you want to try to understand why a serial killer begins their journey. I highly recommend this tour.

Scott Sherrell: I took the tour with Joe. He was fantastic, great person and story teller

Kayleigh cooper: We had Alexi as our tour guider person and he was very nice and relaxed very good at his job for sure! I personally just didn’t really think this kind of tour was for me as you do have to walk around people eating and drinking in order to do the tour which i found a little awkward.

Chad Walters: Kiersten gave a fantastic tour! She knew a lot about the history and really made for a fantastic night!

Katelyn Longmire: Thank you Kirsten for an awesome tour! So fun and learned a lot.

Alessandra Stamper: We went on the Cream City Cannibal tour with Rhonda, and it was very interesting. It wasn't super scary, but definitely interesting. Rhonda had the best cliffhangers as we walked from one spot to another where Jeffrey Dahmer preyed on his victims. She also interjected some humor into the tour, which helped lighten the mood. She was a lot of fun! Highly recommend!

A.J.: . The teens were interested in the Diving Rods Joe mentioned and we were thinking of checking out another tour that might have those.

Tyler Junk: Alexi did a great job during the Whoring 20s tour. Very informative and friendly!

Olivia Sell: Alexi was very knowledgeable and friendly. Walking tour was the perfect distance for an afternoon hours stroll around the river.

Liz Berko: Lots of interesting history and creepy corners on this tour. Joe was great! So much fun and super informative.

Anna Strombach: We had a great time learning about all the history that went into the building! Our tour guide, Kirsten was AMAZING! She was so thorough and energetic. I loved her! Would definitely recommend!

Emilio Pina: , our tour guide was very informative and provided awesome history in his tours while also being an overall chill dude.

Sarah Roberts: A really great tour, Elizabeth our tour guide was really well informed and clearly knew her stuff. She was friendly and really made us feel at ease. Elizabeth definately made the experience and we're really glad we did it - made all the more atmospheric by the persistent Milwaukee rain!!! Worth the journey from London, thank you so much.

Cindy P: Great tour and Kristy was a wonderful tour guide. She shares interesting history of one small building with so much life in it from years past. Must do for those visiting Milwaukee.

Naomi Karvellas: Our tour guide Rhonda was amazing did a great job leading us around the block and educating us on Jeffery dahmer but most of all his victims, its refreshing to see a tour that educates and sheds light on the victims. I’d definitely recommended and revisit if I ever find myself back in Milwaukee!

Howard: Fantastic mansion, beautiful and well maintained. Carolyn, who has worked there 15 years was amazing. She answered questions well and had very in depth knowledge of both the structure of the mansion and the Pabst family history. Even seemingly insignificant pieces of information such as what kind of wood each room is made of.The mansion itself was very beautiful. The first floor is fully completed and looks exactly how it originally looked. The second and third floors are still in progress but it was still good to see.Highly recommended if visiting Milwaukee.

Elm Grove Travel: what do users think?

Nicole Gerboth: We were in a scramble to find a fun Spring Break trip after our original agent ghosted us with very little time to spare. I called Elm Grove Travel and Shelley was able to help. It was pretty last minute but she found us a very reasonable hotel and flight, so kudos for that! She sent us a link to a website so we could choose a few adventures which was good because I could trust these were vetted companies. In hindsight I wish we had more time to discuss hotel options because ours, although quite nice, was located at the far end of a gated golf community with 1,000 speed bumps between us and any outings. I'd use them again though.

Carrie Pflanzer: Tracie was great to work with and made everything so easy, Highly recommend!

Allison Stauss: Tracie at Elm Grove Travel planned an amzing trip to Belize for me. She is always available to answer questions and helped make the trip one of the best I've been on. Thank you!

Shannon Teeters: Cindy Dodds has helped us a few times planning our Vacation. She is very detail oriented person and helped us plan an amazing trip to Puerto Morales. She made sure we had all the details we needed for the entire trip.We will definitely use her again for our vacation needs.

Tammie Craig: Cindy was amazing. She answered every question I came up with and was so very helpful working our details for our first trip to Mexico. She planned a wonderful excursion and made our vacation very memorable.

Jayne Schufletowski: Tracie was so helpful in re-booking our trip. We purchased the insurance, and thankfully we did. I came down with COVID days before we were supposed to leaved. Tracie was able to get us in a couple weeks later, and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Thank you for working with me over the phone!

Mike Ruhland: Tracie and the team at Elm Grove travel was once again fantastic. They are great to plan with, and provide peace of mind and a smooth experience A--Z. We've travelled a decent amount and this go-round had a real need for travel insurance that thankfully we didn't have to use. Tracie went above and beyond to provide us with great advice, resources pre-trip and during the trip should we have the need to get home, and more. I can't thank them all enough for helping plan and provide a much needed get away to Playa Mujeres, Mexico!! Thank you...

Steve Van Erem: Shannon, Thank you for all your help and information throughout the entire process. We had such an amazing time, and everything went faultless. From start to finish, you were a pleasure to work with while making sure everything was perfect. We are all looking forward to working with you again next year!

Deb Lukasik: We are going on our first cruise this spring. We have been working with Amy Frank. I would high recommend her. She has been more than helpful and has gone out of our way to help us through the process and is always available to answer our questions.

D Sexton: We went through n booked our Cozumel vacation with Shannon. Shannon did not disappoint us in anyway- awesome communication, kept us updated n offered many travel tips!! We were extremely satisfied with her service!!! ❤️ By the way- our resort at Occidental in Cozumel was relaxing n beautiful! Very friendly staff n accommodations. Thank you Shannon!!

Shannon Gehringer: Jenny planned our trip to Spain and Portugal. It was perfect. The hotels were excellent and always located in the center of the cities for easy walking distances to restaurants and attractions. Transportation and drivers were also excellent and very accommodating. The Trip Plans app that we downloaded was a great and very useful tool as we traveled. EGT did a great job and we would recommend and use them again.John and Cheryl Gehringer

Joan Barker: We had some trouble with the airline and Tracie got some of our money back! My advice don’t book another trip without a travel agent! So worth the money!

Bryan Kozlowski: Tracie at EGT helped us plan our trip to Mexico and she was so informative about any questions we had, extremely quick with answering calls or emails and made the trip planning process extremely simple! Our trip went so smooth and I absolutely contribute that to Tracie and her expertise at Elm Grove Travel! She booked our hotel, our transportation to and from the airport and had our entire itinerary quickly sent to us so all our info was in one area when we needed it for something. I won’t book our trips with anyone else! 100% recommend!

peggy lane: My husband and I are recently retired. Have always wanted to travel. However after attempting to plan some trips on our own we decided it was too hard and confusing to make arrangements on the internet. We were never sure if we were doing things correctly and were certain we weren’t getting the best deals. On a whim one day I decided to contact Elm grove Travel where I met Heather. She has been so helpful in planning our 40th anniversary trip on Viking Cruises. We are so excited to go knowing all the details have been taken care of. We would never have done it on our own.No matter what some people say about how easy it is to make travel plans on your own using the internet. They are WRONG. Nothing could be as easy and efficient as using Elm Grove TravelWish I had stopped in years ago

mary beth terhaar: Friendly, experienced, quick to respond and to meet our needs.

Melissa Muszynski: We just got back from our 1st family trip to Disney. I was very anxious about all the planning that goes into Disney World, so I was referred to Cailyn @ Elm Grove Travel. Cailyn was very knowledgeable, organized, patient with all of my questions and overall just a pleasure to work with. We will be calling Cailyn for our next vacation. Highly recommend! 😊

Beth Anderson: In this day and age, we think we can plan a trip on our own, but the addition of Tracie from Elm Grove Travel moved our trip from good to great. For us, it was the perfect combination of professional access to trusted sources for day trips/tours/accommodations and own our research. The emergency number was a great resource when there was rioting near one of our destinations.

Lynn Streit: Mahalo Cindy!Hawaii was fabulous! A dream come true! Thanks for all your expert help, it all went without a hitch and exceeded expectations! We are so grateful to you and Elm Grove Travel!Aloha!

Kari Foster: I cannot thank Cindy from Elm Grove Travel enough for helping us plan the perfect multi family trip to celebrate our 2023 graduating seniors! With all her knowledge and expertise, she explained in detail all the different resorts, destinations and excursions that would be the best fit for our large group. In the end, we wouldn’t change a thing and will definitely use Cindy for future trips!

Kelley Carrasquillo: The drive up team does a wonderful job! Greatly appreciate the ease of ordering and picking up.

Patricia Carrington: Great shopping experience with friendly staff and very clean and orderly store.

Chillin With the Armstead's: Nice and Clean store.I would love for all Targets to have more holiday stuff up front and not in the back of the store. I walk with a cane and it not always easy for me to get around the stores.Example: I was in search of Vday candy for my grandson and all they had was a small selection of Dove candies. But they had mounds of flowers to chose from. Not venting just a suggestion

Just Me: Love having the drive up pickup service. Don't have to deal with people.

Tracy Taylor: Great store clean and friendly

Rebecca Larson: The aisles are actually clear of extra displays so two carts can pass each other. The shelves are always stocked and there is never a lack of new variety.

denise gerber karlinsky: Not enough self check out stations and cashiers were not available to help with the bottleneck

BMO Harris Pavilion: what do users think?

Donald Kahler: Great place for a show

Meagan McFadden: The venue is really decent. I love that I can sit and still see! The breeze off the lake was especially nice at Mastodon/Gojira when it was sweltering out. The prices for water, food, etc are a bit ridiculous though.

Hollis Gatewood: Nice location. We went on a day where the temp was 95 degrees. But this place is right on the lake so there was a nice breeze. You cannot bring water inside, but the staff provided lots of water coolers. They also had a mist station to keep you cool. Bathrooms were relatively clean. Sound and lights were good. Plenty of parking not far away. Plenty of seating everywhere. They had outdoor couches and picnic tables. They had a spot to play bags and plenty of shade. The only downside was the food. The burgers were not good at all.

Jon R: Only issue it had was a cashless venue. Other than that really nice and right on the Lake.

Craig Conner: Easy in and out, friendly folks, tidy and clean.

Shelley Pfeiffer: Since I live between Milwaukee and Chicago, I always prefer to fly out of Milwaukee. The airport is a big smaller a lot more friendly and much cleaner. The fact that it has an area after TSA to get your things together, so to speak known as the recombubulation area. This airport also has an awesome used bookstore known as Renaissance Books.

Scott W: It's a decent airport. Easy access to get in and out. The parking structure is in great shape and on the way out, the credit card readers all work. There are enought restaurants and shoppes along the several concourses. The bathrooms are clean. Getting through TSA can be hit/miss, but that's pretty much true anywhere you go now days.
