Angela Frost: This venue is beautiful, with an amazing outdoor bar/patio, and a parking lot for guests. Staff is amazing!

A heartfelt thank you to their coordinator, Olivia, who absolutely went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. She helped their dream wedding become a reality.

Grace Bosma: The Ivy House was the most beautiful place to have our wedding!! Our guests raved about the venue, the bartenders, the staff, and our event coordinator, Mandi! One of my bridesmaids told me she has never seen such a terrific coordinator! Mandi really did everything we wanted and when our champagne wall didn’t fit the glasses, they took it in back and fixed the wall to fit the glasses!! If you are looking for a low stress day, this is your venue! Our caterers also raved about how much they loved working with this venue. The venue is naturally gorgeous and required very little extra decor! The bridal suite was perfect and fun to get ready in! The suite is the size of an apt, has a kitchen, getting ready tables, etc. They even have a speaker already there. Our DJ, Charlie, did such an amazing job. Our guests loved the dancing music but also really loved the cocktail hour and dinner music. He really made it an experience for us and our guests.

Ben Kinsman: I attended a wedding at the Ivy house on October 29th, I was impressed with how smooth the day went from ceremony to restaurant. The amazing bar staff were on it, they were incredibly nice, kept the drinks going all night, and if something was spilled they were on top of it right away. As for the dance floor, I almost blew my back out dancing so hard. DJ Nick crushed it and kept the party going all night. Awesome Wedding venue!
Tyra Leonard: Beware of the train!!! This is one of my favorite wedding venues. I am a wedding photographer and I’m at venues every Saturday.It photographs beautifully and just checks all of the boxes in my opinion.But be aware of the railroad track right next to the venue. I did photograph a wedding there once where multiple trains went by during the ceremony so you couldn’t hear anything. We basically had to stop the ceremony.I would definitely still choose this venue. I would just be aware of the train and maybe have an indoor ceremony or look into that more.

Andrew Ferguson: We absolutely loved having our event at The Box, and planning with Jamie Berger and Levine was such a treat! We originally had our wedding celebration planned for May of 2020, then due to covid moved to October 2020, then once again to October of 2021. They could not have been more accommodating for us moving our event 2x, during a time where their business I am sure was taking a hit due to the pandemic. Both Jamie’s were always incredibly responsive and accommodating to whatever we needed during the whole process.When it came the day of, they came in even a bit earlier than our contract time to make sure the band could setup on time. During the actual event, I don’t think it could have possibly gone smoother than it did. Our manager Katelynn had everything under control, the bartenders were great and our guests never had to wait for a drink, and when it came tear down time Katelynn had helped pack all of our decorations so we could continue to go and enjoy ourselves.Thanks again to both Jamie and Jaime for helping us have such an amazing day, and would 1000% recommend using The Box for any sort of event.
Cathy Fischer: We hosted our daughter's wedding ceremony at The Box this past weekend. Working with Jamie Berger was an absolute joy. She was so accommodating, had great insight for setup and was so helpful with decisions at Rehearsal and a major player on Wedding Day. Jamie has a warm personality mixed with humor that chased all my anxiety away. We had a wedding party of 16 in addition to the Bride and Groom and had seating for 170 at the Ceremony and the venue was plenty spacious. I would highly recommend The Box for an event and couldn't be more pleased with our experience.
Cindy Cooper: Can’t rave enough about having my daughter’s wedding at The Box last weekend! I worked with Jamie Berger so I knew I was in good hands. I can’t even imagine all the work that went into getting the space ready. All I know is that when we walked in I knew my daughter’s vision had come to life. Jamie nailed the ambience. The staff that night was excellent —- very quick to remove any dirty dishes or glasses. All seemed very friendly and dressed well. The bartenders were particularly fun. For me, it was a great experience from beginning to end. I highly recommend The Box!
Twaneka Greer: The Box Mke was the venue I used for my Grandma’s 90th Diamond Birthday Party and everything was amazing!! The venue is beautiful with the Cream City Brick wall and massive square footage. I worked with Jaime Levine. She was very attentive to all of the details for my Grandma’s special day. I appreciated her and Autumn’s assistance. I highly recommend this venue… as you won’t be disappointed!
Sam Boyle: Where do I begin? First of all, Jaime and her staff were very friendly and willing to work with us with everything going on with the pandemic. They were gracious enough to let us postpone our party until the following year which allowed us to get our whole family to the party. Leading up to the party, they helped us with everything we could think of along the way. From planning to catering to working with the band that we hired. My wife and I couldn't be happier with how everything went, and everyone that attended said they loved the venue. Highly recommend!
Amarii Hall: The Box is an absolute gem in the city of Milwaukee. Not only is it in the heart of downtown, but it also is the perfect venue for your next event. I love the versatility this space has and there is so much room for creativity. Being in contact with the owners and coordinators of the space has truly been an eventful experience and I would highly recommend getting to know them. My event was pushed back one day because of the Bucks finals and they were more than understanding, they were flexible. If you're looking for a space to have your event with a perfect set up and a welcoming environment, this is the place for you. 10/10, would recommend.
Mary DeMerit: emails and accommodated us in so many ways, to ensure that I didn't have to stress about related to our reception in any way that day. With this being a whole new experience for me, she made sure I had everything I needed and took care of everything behind the scenes. It’s been crazy trying to plan a wedding during the pandemic but despite that, they were always responsive, kept us informed all city guidelines, and were flexible with the process to make sure we felt safe and also that we ultimately enjoyed our special day. Would highly recommend. Can’t wait to throw future parties at the box and this pandemic to end!

Stephen Hudson: Fantastic, first time inside the building and it's gorgeous. Bartolotta catering made the food at every station delicious. Also, there was little to no waiting, which is common for mothers day brunches. That alone made it worth the price.

Hannah Davis: We got married a few weeks ago and we are so incredibly happy with our decision to have our reception at The Grain Exchange. Maria and Christean were phenomenal to work with - from the initial consultation through the day of the event. Everything, from the gorgeous room to the fantastic food to the flow of events, was spectacular. I had many people comment that the food was the best they've had at a wedding. That's what you get with Bartolotta's! The day was above and beyond what we had hoped for and we can't recommend the team at The Grain Exchange highly enough.

As a fellow vendor, I was impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail, and overall level of service.In addition to the technical aspects, I was also impressed with the friendly and accommodating attitude of their staff. They were helpful in ensuring that our space was properly set up and that our guests were able to take advantage of the booth throughout the event.I highly recommend Black Swan River Walk for anyone in need of a picture booth experience. Their combination of quality equipment, friendly staff, and attention to detail make them a standout!

Spencer Berglund: went above and beyond in every respect in terms of planning and execution. Not just for us but for our guests as well! We received numerous compliments on choosing the venue and just how helpful all the staff was from start to finish. Very spacious and great flow in the room overall. Would highly recommend to any couple looking for somewhere special to host their momentous big day. You won’t regret it!

It looked gorgeous, and we received so many compliments, from the lighting, to the cream city break, to the luscious plants. Bar service/bartenders were outstanding. DJs were awesome. She made the planning process feel less overwhelming and was super helpful in facilitating the evening! Our guests were super impressed by the space and being able to bring in our own caterer was appreciated as we had a shoestring budget. We will definitely use this venue again in the future! Cannot recommend enough!

Our day-of coordinator Olivia was instrumental in keeping us on track with our schedule while making sure we had the perfect day. The bartenders were friendly and professional, keeping our guests well hydrated all night, and even helping us pack up at the end of the reception. Our experience from start to finish could not have been better, we’d recommend this venue to anyone.

Steven Condon: Our wedding day was perfect and we wouldn't change a thing! The filament is an amazing venue with everything you could need! Nick was our coordinator and went above and beyond to make sure our big day went smoothly and most of importantly, that everyone had fun! They definitely have the wedding biz down pat and were flexible, provided excellent guidance and support in planning. The parking & bridal suite on site are available at an extra cost, it was SO convenient worth it. P. Kahn: Fantastic venue for a wedding. Food was fantastic and the bar service was great. We had everyone drinking tequila gimlets by the end of the night as that is a go-to drink for us in the summer. Highly recommend if you're thinking of using this location. Sorry I don't have any pics.

They were very helpful throughout the process and on our wedding day. Nick Brenning was our wedding coordinator and he did a phenomenal job. He made sure to say yes to all our desires to make our day perfect! The Filament was straight forward with pricing. They had no extra “surprise” fees from start to end. Beautiful space. Jack Brenning, with Milwaukee Airwaves, was a great dj who catered to our desires. 10/10 recommend.

The cream city brick walls, overflowing greenery, big windows, and fun lighting makes for the perfect wedding venue. It's tucked away from the busy city streets, so it creates an intimate, cozy atmosphere. On top of all that, the people there are PHENOMENAL. The staff was so helpful every step of the way in making our event a success! I would absolutely recommend Filament to couples looking for a dreamy, industrial, Milwaukee wedding venue, and I hope to be back in the future!!

My husband and I started out communication with Marina when we first booked the venue and she was very sweet and always available to answer questions. Later on we worked with Tanner as our event coordinator. Tanner went above and beyond not only on the day of our wedding, but leading up to it to make sure everything was perfect. He is truly amazing! The bartenders along with the DJ through Milwaukee Airwaves kept the party going all night long. Can’t recommend this venue enough!

Our server was fantastic - she handled a messy separate checks situation with helpfulness and good nature, we loved her! The atmosphere was wood and iron with low lighting and while we were a group, this would be truly wonderful as a romantic night out for couples.

distinct person: Went to A Taylor Swift Tribute Concert. It was fantastic. I really don't know Taylor Swift songs that well but my date loves them. And to have them performed by a quartet in a candlelit setting was really original and special. Plus they had a "Travis Swift" specialty drink that was original and delicious. And idk if it happens all the time, but for the last 2 songs they let us sing along and take pics.The quartet was excellent. I loved their intros to the songs and the arrangements were great. I would have loved to talk to them afterwards and take some pics. But they disappeared right away. Waited around but they never came back.

Tony Kinnett: The hotel is very nicely kept, and one of the better in the Autograph Collection. The star of this stay is undoubtedly the service.The front desk staff and the cleaning/maintenance crew were friendly, thorough, and well beyond what I'd expect at a chain like this. Given the opportunity, I will be staying here whenever in Milwaukee in the future.
M Taylor: This is an independent hotel boutique that is part of the Marriott Bonvoy Program. I did receive an upgrade to a Presidents suite, but don't be confused because they have several of them. The decor of the room is nice but it is not new, it is starting to show some wear and tear. The climate control is not great as it is an older building with forced radiator heat that you cannot turn off. The AC could not cool the room as needed for us at night. Valet parking is $40, there is local self parking nearby for less than $20. There are several great restaurants nearby. I give 3 stars when I am satisfied with my experience but would not go out of my way to return. I would stay at a different property on my next trip.
Flip Flop Guy: Very nice rooms! Clean and modernized with a warm feeling to them. Staff was friendly and valet prompt! A few unique drawback’s experienced would be that the room temp was too warm and no matter the setting, would not lower. The television also didn’t display anything but movie channels and local channels. The casting didn’t work either. Finally, there was the sound of music bass well past midnight that could be heard. I am not sure if that was the very cool pufferfish tiki bar on the sixth floor or a place across the street. Made for a tough sleep. All in all though, a very nice hotel and one we would definitely visit again!

Jeffrey Douglas: I've been staying at the Riverfront Holiday Inn for several months and I enjoy the good service and friendly staff. Angela, the hotel manager is always accommodating and helpful if I ever have concerns. I like hotel living and this is the place to be for business or recreation. Food stations were spaced throughout and we sat and sampled the different options. Food was very good, the consultants stopped at each table to answer questions. The Borg Cooking Show: Saw Bomber and Red, Modern Joey, and Wire and Nail here. The venue is super neat inside of an old warehouse. The cranes and large industrial beams still adorn the place. The acoustics are pretty good as well. The bar is located right next to the dance floor so you never miss a second of the music.There's also a nice grassy patio section outside for getting a breath of fresh air or rippin' a dart.Drink prices are not ridiculous $6 for wells, $9 for midtier hard liquor. They have a great beer selection and limited wine.

Patrick Betcher (Betcher Photo): The Cooperage is one of the great Milwaukee venues that sits a bit off the beaten path and offers all kinds of opportunities to enjoy all that it has to offer. As an area wedding photographer, I love when the couples I work with choose the Cooperage as it's super photogenic on its own and within a very short walking distance to all kinds of unique locations. It can accommodate indoor as well as outdoor ceremony options, both of which are beautiful. It's right on the river and has carved out its own identity down in that area. The rooftop access provides an unobstructed view of the Hoan as well as the the Lake behind it. There's also a really nice apartment attached to the property which acts as a really convenient and unique prep space. If you're not getting married there, might as well stop by the compound to grab some tacos at Taco Moto or grab a cocktail and some beers at Boone & Crockett. I look forward to being back there many times, as the team who run the events also do a fantastic job of keeping things tight and have always been very collaborative in the mission of providing a great experience to clients.
