Jeffrey Douglas: I've been staying at the Riverfront Holiday Inn for several months and I enjoy the good service and friendly staff. Angela, the hotel manager is always accommodating and helpful if I ever have concerns. I like hotel living and this is the place to be for business or recreation. The view of the Milwaukee River is superb and I would recommend this hotel for anyone planning a visit to Milwaukee. Photo included was taken by me.Rooms: Half of the hotel rooms overlook the river.

I can’t say how much I appreciate her. The server when I had breakfast was very friendly and was the only one there, so she did wonderful. Great job by all. Erica Kelly: Had an amazing experience at the Iron Horse Hotel.Unfortunately, I only had the opportunity to stay for one night with a small group but I would've stayed longer if I could and will definitely be back!First, the staff is incredibly hospitable, and friendly. My group was pretty small, maybe 10-14 rooms and they treated us like royalty from the front desk, to management, to bar service to culinary and breakfast and the giftshop/store.Second, the hotel itself was so nice. I didn't know what to expect prior to my arrival, knowing that this hotel was influenced by Harley Davidson, but it was done in such a classy elegant way. You really appreciate the esthetic when you walk up the stairs, into the lobby with the hotel scent and the layout/décor throughout the property. This hotel really takes so many local influences into account and I feel like I was able to experience so much of Milwaukee in the hotel, from the 1 night I was there.Thank you so much for such a delightful experience, I can't wait to go back and suggest this hotel to anyone staying in or near Milwaukee.
Katelyn Roach: . Smells like man spiced deodorant in the entrance lobby… think Negroni in aerosol form. Everyone was extremely pleasant. Rooms were clean and quiet.All that being said, the restaurant food needs help. For $98, we ordered 2 burgers, 1 coke, caesar salad, calamari, and 1 fried chicken sandwich. For the quality I’d say price point is about 30% over priced. Burgers were very mid, chicken was good, salad was fine, but the calamari… just no. Iron Horse Hotel you were great, but please remove the calamari from your menu immediately. For $16, we received small insignificant crumbs, not fresh, and the dressing was this strange cranberry relish that wasn’t even dippable. If I was in a mood I’d have sent it back or asked for it to be removed from my tab, but I did not.I recommend Iron Horse as a nice place to stay, however you’re better off just going up the road to St. Paul’s Fish Company at the public market for a fresh dinner.

Cyndi Kramer: An outstanding first visit! Our group of eight was pleasantly greeted and was able to be seated without reservations. Several of our party had never had tapas and they definitely enjoyed the experience. Drinks were good, all the dishes were delicious. Our server was fantastic - she handled a messy separate checks situation with helpfulness and good nature, we loved her! The atmosphere was wood and iron with low lighting and while we were a group, this would be truly wonderful as a romantic night out for couples.

Tony Kinnett: The hotel is very nicely kept, and one of the better in the Autograph Collection. The star of this stay is undoubtedly the service.The front desk staff and the cleaning/maintenance crew were friendly, thorough, and well beyond what I'd expect at a chain like this. Given the opportunity, I will be staying here whenever in Milwaukee in the future.
M Taylor: This is an independent hotel boutique that is part of the Marriott Bonvoy Program. I did receive an upgrade to a Presidents suite, but don't be confused because they have several of them. The decor of the room is nice but it is not new, it is starting to show some wear and tear. The climate control is not great as it is an older building with forced radiator heat that you cannot turn off. The AC could not cool the room as needed for us at night. Valet parking is $40, there is local self parking nearby for less than $20. There are several great restaurants nearby. I give 3 stars when I am satisfied with my experience but would not go out of my way to return. I would stay at a different property on my next trip.
Flip Flop Guy: Very nice rooms! Clean and modernized with a warm feeling to them. Staff was friendly and valet prompt! A few unique drawback’s experienced would be that the room temp was too warm and no matter the setting, would not lower. The television also didn’t display anything but movie channels and local channels. The casting didn’t work either. Finally, there was the sound of music bass well past midnight that could be heard. I am not sure if that was the very cool pufferfish tiki bar on the sixth floor or a place across the street. Made for a tough sleep. All in all though, a very nice hotel and one we would definitely visit again!

The building is so cute--everything is super clean, chic and inviting----but the staff is what really shines. The ladies at the front desk/reception were so helpful and kind to us we....but everyone who works here is amazing. We were just so impressed by the level of service and the straight-up kindness we were shown we will be back for a third stay! Excellent job Hotel Metro!

It’s kind of like a old-school back in the 1960s vibe with a modern twist but it’s crazy because everything is real good the vibe the food the drinks the room everything is really elegant and nice plus it’s downtown in the center of everything in MILWAUKEE I think they got another one in New York if I’m not mistaken, but you gotta check it out. This is definitely one of the top hotels in downtown MILWAUKEE, you get waited on hand and foot from the time you get out the car until the time you get to your room even after that, there’s always someone that’s there to help you throughout your whole stay you got like a personal maid or bails men

Hannah Davis: We got married a few weeks ago and we are so incredibly happy with our decision to have our reception at The Grain Exchange. Maria and Christean were phenomenal to work with - from the initial consultation through the day of the event. Everything, from the gorgeous room to the fantastic food to the flow of events, was spectacular. I had many people comment that the food was the best they've had at a wedding. That's what you get with Bartolotta's! The day was above and beyond what we had hoped for and we can't recommend the team at The Grain Exchange highly enough.

Andrew Ferguson: We absolutely loved having our event at The Box, and planning with Jamie Berger and Levine was such a treat! We originally had our wedding celebration planned for May of 2020, then due to covid moved to October 2020, then once again to October of 2021. They could not have been more accommodating for us moving our event 2x, during a time where their business I am sure was taking a hit due to the pandemic. Both Jamie’s were always incredibly responsive and accommodating to whatever we needed during the whole process.When it came the day of, they came in even a bit earlier than our contract time to make sure the band could setup on time. During the actual event, I don’t think it could have possibly gone smoother than it did. Our manager Katelynn had everything under control, the bartenders were great and our guests never had to wait for a drink, and when it came tear down time Katelynn had helped pack all of our decorations so we could continue to go and enjoy ourselves.Thanks again to both Jamie and Jaime for helping us have such an amazing day, and would 1000% recommend using The Box for any sort of event.
Cathy Fischer: We hosted our daughter's wedding ceremony at The Box this past weekend. Working with Jamie Berger was an absolute joy. She was so accommodating, had great insight for setup and was so helpful with decisions at Rehearsal and a major player on Wedding Day. Jamie has a warm personality mixed with humor that chased all my anxiety away. We had a wedding party of 16 in addition to the Bride and Groom and had seating for 170 at the Ceremony and the venue was plenty spacious. I would highly recommend The Box for an event and couldn't be more pleased with our experience.
Cindy Cooper: Can’t rave enough about having my daughter’s wedding at The Box last weekend! I worked with Jamie Berger so I knew I was in good hands. I can’t even imagine all the work that went into getting the space ready. All I know is that when we walked in I knew my daughter’s vision had come to life. Jamie nailed the ambience. The staff that night was excellent —- very quick to remove any dirty dishes or glasses. All seemed very friendly and dressed well. The bartenders were particularly fun. For me, it was a great experience from beginning to end. I highly recommend The Box!

The venue is beautiful with the Cream City Brick wall and massive square footage. I worked with Jaime Levine. She was very attentive to all of the details for my Grandma’s special day. I appreciated her and Autumn’s assistance. I highly recommend this venue… as you won’t be disappointed!
Sam Boyle: Where do I begin? First of all, Jaime and her staff were very friendly and willing to work with us with everything going on with the pandemic. They were gracious enough to let us postpone our party until the following year which allowed us to get our whole family to the party. Leading up to the party, they helped us with everything we could think of along the way. From planning to catering to working with the band that we hired. My wife and I couldn't be happier with how everything went, and everyone that attended said they loved the venue. Highly recommend!
Amarii Hall: The Box is an absolute gem in the city of Milwaukee. Not only is it in the heart of downtown, but it also is the perfect venue for your next event. I love the versatility this space has and there is so much room for creativity. Being in contact with the owners and coordinators of the space has truly been an eventful experience and I would highly recommend getting to know them. My event was pushed back one day because of the Bucks finals and they were more than understanding, they were flexible. If you're looking for a space to have your event with a perfect set up and a welcoming environment, this is the place for you. 10/10, would recommend.
Mary DeMerit: emails and accommodated us in so many ways, to ensure that I didn't have to stress about related to our reception in any way that day. With this being a whole new experience for me, she made sure I had everything I needed and took care of everything behind the scenes. The bartenders for the venue were great, friendly and all-around fun people! Our guests loved the ambiance the venue provided and we received so many compliments about space. I would recommend The Box in a heartbeat. Mirza Baig: Jaime and Jamie- were amazing to work with while planning our wedding during COVID. It’s been crazy trying to plan a wedding during the pandemic but despite that, they were always responsive, kept us informed all city guidelines, and were flexible with the process to make sure we felt safe and also that we ultimately enjoyed our special day. Would highly recommend. Can’t wait to throw future parties at the box and this pandemic to end!

A heartfelt thank you to their coordinator, Olivia, who absolutely went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. She helped their dream wedding become a reality.

Grace Bosma: The Ivy House was the most beautiful place to have our wedding!! Our guests raved about the venue, the bartenders, the staff, and our event coordinator, Mandi! One of my bridesmaids told me she has never seen such a terrific coordinator! Mandi really did everything we wanted and when our champagne wall didn’t fit the glasses, they took it in back and fixed the wall to fit the glasses!! If you are looking for a low stress day, this is your venue! Our caterers also raved about how much they loved working with this venue. The venue is naturally gorgeous and required very little extra decor! The bridal suite was perfect and fun to get ready in! The suite is the size of an apt, has a kitchen, getting ready tables, etc. They even have a speaker already there. Our DJ, Charlie, did such an amazing job. Our guests loved the dancing music but also really loved the cocktail hour and dinner music. He really made it an experience for us and our guests.

Ben Kinsman: I attended a wedding at the Ivy house on October 29th, I was impressed with how smooth the day went from ceremony to restaurant. The amazing bar staff were on it, they were incredibly nice, kept the drinks going all night, and if something was spilled they were on top of it right away. As for the dance floor, I almost blew my back out dancing so hard. DJ Nick crushed it and kept the party going all night. Awesome Wedding venue!
Tyra Leonard: Beware of the train!!! This is one of my favorite wedding venues. I am a wedding photographer and I’m at venues every Saturday.It photographs beautifully and just checks all of the boxes in my opinion.But be aware of the railroad track right next to the venue. I did photograph a wedding there once where multiple trains went by during the ceremony so you couldn’t hear anything. We basically had to stop the ceremony.I would definitely still choose this venue. I would just be aware of the train and maybe have an indoor ceremony or look into that more.

Dennis Besaw: Attended a wedding at The Miller Room, it is a great location. The bar is well stocked, and the meal was fabulous. All the waitstaff are friendly and very attentive.
Alexandra V: We had our wedding reception at the Miller Room and it was wonderful! The staff at Zilli Hospitality was extremely helpful and friendly, especially Roxann and Deanna. The food at our dinner was so delicious - almost everyone told us it was the best wedding dinner they’ve ever had. The views and ambience are both amazing.

Bill Lynch: Clean rooms, even if a little "Dated!" Staff was professional but the attached restaurant was completely empty on the evening I stayed. Breakfast option appeared to only be a cold box with yogurt and fruit and maybe a Danish for $15?!? Price was not terrible for the room.Rooms: Clean, but dated. Fill lid on coffee maker missing, and only one regular coffee pouch available.Food & drinks: Not even sure the attached restaurant was even open on a Thursday Night... No breakfast except a cold box option on Friday Morning

As a fellow vendor, I was impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail, and overall level of service.In addition to the technical aspects, I was also impressed with the friendly and accommodating attitude of their staff. They were helpful in ensuring that our space was properly set up and that our guests were able to take advantage of the booth throughout the event.I highly recommend Black Swan River Walk for anyone in need of a picture booth experience. Their combination of quality equipment, friendly staff, and attention to detail make them a standout!

Difficult to compare to the Marriotts in Asia which are frankly the best. Uncomparable.Noteworthy details: Executive lounge actually has wine M - Th evening. Whereas Marriotts have basically full on bar service in their Asia properties and gourmet meals in the Executive lounge.
