Cyndi Kramer: An outstanding first visit! Our group of eight was pleasantly greeted and was able to be seated without reservations. Several of our party had never had tapas and they definitely enjoyed the experience. Drinks were good, all the dishes were delicious. Our server was fantastic - she handled a messy separate checks situation with helpfulness and good nature, we loved her! The atmosphere was wood and iron with low lighting and while we were a group, this would be truly wonderful as a romantic night out for couples.

Naomi Cartee: Cool ballroom. Had a nice experience. Parking is horrible though. Definitely would recommend Uber.
Jeanette Mann: The best time!!! Everything including the bathrooms are clean. Many stairs as there are multiple stages.

Eric O'Dell: Attended a show at the Eagles Ballroom and largely had a good time. Things could be better marked but the worst part was the lack of air conditioning. It was 77 degrees outside and the best they could do was open some windows. Air ended up stagnant and super humid. It was less noticeable during the show but in between sets it was miserable and the room temperature $5 bottles of Costco water didn’t help.

Jim Klein: I love this place. I’ve seen a show in the ballroom upstairs as well as in a bar space in the basement. Legends have come thru this place and you can tell. Great live music vibe and you can tell the people who work there enjoy music.They went thru and cleaned the whole bathroom halfway thru a show while an opener was still playing. Really a nice touch

Walking in from the door off the parking lot, the dining room was far, we walked past some of the other spaces Serb Hall has to offer, that looked nice, though when we walked past the bathrooms, they stunk.We got there a little early, around 5:15pm, beating some of the crowd and it was already gathering a good amount of diners. We were seated and ordered our drinks, a sprite and old fashioned. The drinks came out relatively quick, but the second round was a little bit slower. The fish was smaller than expected, but good and was filling. Overall, not bad but not my favorite.
M V: The acclaimed Milwaukee Serb Hall fish fry is back! The inside of the building is remodeled and looks incredible. Took the family last night and we had the classic Serb Hall fish fry. Fish was outstanding, fries were tasty and fresh cold slaw. Service was great and just a wonderful dining experience for our family.We can’t wait to go back again for another amazing dinner.

Gavin Lee: I really enjoyed the service and food! Unfortunately the ‘ automatic 18% service charge’ goes to the restaurant and not the waitress I had. I understand owning a local restaurant is not easy but this did make my bill higher than it needed to be since I am still leaving an additional tip for my waitress. Again, food and service was awesome though!

Scott Swosinski: We attended the La Merenda pop up Easter brunch at the event space at the old Engine company no.3. The food is always superb. The venue is stunning inside. The service is tops. The menu had breakfast as well as lunch tapas to share. Look for more of these popup kitchen events.

Amy: I was expecting smaller portions when I heard their brunch described as a tapas situation-- but really, everything was very well portioned. The hot chocolate isn't super sweet, so if that's something that will break your heart do not order it.All dishes were superb, perfectly seasoned and apportioned. Patatas bravas perfectly seasoned, the chorizo add-on is a MUST. Shakshuka could have more bread served with it-- there's not enough to really use it to eat the amount of tomato/pepper mixture that you get. The hostess/serving staff didn't seem to be fully attentive, but they weren't impolite and the dish that wasn't brought out didn't appear on the bill so it seemed she just missed the order altogether.

Joseph Henderson: Capital Grill is always one of my favorites. I love the service but for some reason I have been a little disappointed in their food. This round had lobster bisque and salmon with couscous. The lobster bisque was amazing. The salmon and couscous lacked flavor and salt. I know salt is objective but even when added it lacked other flavors. I am providing a great review because service is always top notch.

Jcg Gee: Went here for the first time yesterday for a family members birthday. Not the best atmosphere at all. The place is kind of dark and the decor is really dated. But the service was great. Majority of The food items we selected to share were really good. The cocktails were amazing as well. I am not a huge fan of sharable plates. But I enjoyed the restaurant.

Paula Tudorof: Must have stopped by at least 20 times since we moved to the area. Maybe 30 times. Folks are always very nice, there are postings about local community events and the event host a few. We attended a lovely holiday market, where everyone was incredibly friendly. Wonderful experience, wonderful beverages and snacks. The mocha scone is always a top selection. My husband elects mochas, and I do matcha. They have unsweetened matcha, which is a big plus for me. Great spot.
