Nicholas Platias: What a great hotel!! Right next to historic 3rd and close to the river walk. Rooms were affordable and clean. Truly one of the most beautiful buildings I've stayed in.Rooms: Rooms were clean and comfy. High ceilings were cool.Nearby activities: I mean walk a block any direction and there's something to do.Safety: Pretty safe part of town.Walkability: Very walkable city!

Paul Graf: Had a fabulous visit for my neices wedding. Hotel staff was great and very accommodating.Noteworthy details: Nestled in downtown Milwaukee; the building was an insurance building and has the history of the building as well as the city. It's only a short drive to the brewery district.

Lore Lisheron: Beautiful event space. Excellent food and service.Food & drinks: Our event had a brunch buffet which offered delicious and healthy selections as well as traditional fare. Many beverages included juice, coffee & tea, and alcoholic options.

Easton Frindlestone: My first time staying at this hotel was super easy using the Hilton app to book, check in, unlock my room etc. My second time staying at this hotel was on a business trip that my boss had booked my hotel room for, and he had entered some information incorrectly which led to some difficulties at the front desk. Haley stepped in to help out her colleague who was assisting me with this & she went above and beyond to make sure that the strange and complicated issue was resolved in the best possible way.All of my interactions with staff have been great, the dogs are adorable, and the hotel does a great job handling events hosted here and at the attached convention center. The Starbucks in the lobby is super convenient. There's also a Walgreens just down the street to shop for basics at. 👍

Carl Their: We had an amazing stay for a volleyball tournament Jan 13 & 14 2024...during a Blizzard. The hotel staff was extremely helpful in arranging rooms for our whole volleyball team 2 nights early, so that we could travel & beat the storm. In addition, our girls had space to gather and play games to keep them occupied for the extra time in the hotel. The breakfast was a nice touch as we were less willing to drive in the weather. The hotel is also located next to 3rd Avenue Market - which has numerous food vendors, bars, activities in one central location. Short walk to the Wisconsin Baird Center to the volleyball tournament really helped when it was below zero temperatures!

N H: The rooms are fine. I think each one has it's own quirk. But what really shines here is the staff. I had an issue with my room in the evening and went to the front desk a bit irritated. The two ladies behind the desk did everything within their power to fix the issue and they did. But the best part is they see you as a person not a corporate desk person speaking to a customer. If I catch their names I'll update this cause they amongst the rest of the staff should be recognized.

Warren O: Just wanted to drop in and say we’ve stayed here several times and this is honestly one of our favorite hotels across the country. Know what sets it apart? The service staff / such beautiful nice people that work here. I can be having the worst of days and the people here are some of the nicest folks I’ve ever dealt with. Some of the most top notch service we’ve received. Facilities are nice and clean and place is conveniently located as well!!! Highly recommend you stay here. You won’t regret it.

Kathryn Burke: I would definitely stay again.

Abby Klein: . They worked together as a team, were incredibly quick and efficient and remained friendly and warm while juggling a dozen cars and sets of keys. I interacted with them a few other times - each time the team members went out of their way to brighten my day and make me feel welcome. No clue how Aloft assembled such a solid team - but as a woman in business, I urge you to do whatever it takes to retain every member of the valet staff! One in a million

Jose Macias: Great place to stay. Within walking distance to the Fiserv forum and too downtown Milwaukee. Couldn't find the Mansion in Wisconsin that T pain was talking about, but no worries. Still had a great time here. Anyways, one of the rooms was smelling like cigarettes. We asked to be moved and they let us and there other room smelled a lot better. Felt welcomed here and would come back to visit when the Celtics come to play.

C Coger: Beautiful hotel and the location is excellent. Walking distance to so many bars, restaurants and the Bucks! The meeting space was perfect for our group. The bar and seating areas made it perfect for us to mingle between events. The staff was great and they make breakfast work even though it isn't a full spread. The rooms were clean and bed was super comfy.

Aryn: The staff was really nice, I especially appreciate the valet for putting up with me and my boyfriend being in and out like 6 times a day

Nick ballew: The hotel itself was great and I absolutely loved the location.I’m mainly writing this review to give praise to the valet. His name was Daniel and he did a phenomenal job. It was freezing cold outside and yet he always maintained a positive attitude the entire time. His exceptional performance proved me to that customer service is not completely dead.If you get a chance to read this, keep it up Daniel. That attitude will get you far in life sir.

Brennan Stokes: Amber is the best thing that happened to Aloft! If she leaves that place will go down the drain! She's always friendly makes time for you! Hospitality is the definition of Amber! She's a great person.Service: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …

Karmar O: Stayed here while family attended game at Fiserve Forum. The first impression was when the bellman approached us at the car at entrance. We needed to move a little and he was so pleasant and professional that I liked the hotel immediately. He also helps us with our bags and was just a pleasant positive guy. This was so appreciated after a long drive after a long day of work! His name was Jordan R. The hotel was great! Clean, with breakfast and good coffee in lobby. I was able to watch the game downstairs in a large venue with multipleLOCAL dining options that included several diverse options and ethnicities. Husband and son said the walk to Fiserv wasn’t bad either. What a great place to stay in Milwaukee! So glad we also got to do the Jingle Bell bus which was fascinating to learn about the history of Milwaukee. This happened to start right at this hotel! Excellent experience!

Grassleaf: I really like this hotel! It has a pool and it also has something kind of like a mall in the back. The only reason I'm not rating 5 stars is because the TV somehow got on max volume and the remote won't turn it down. So please fix the tvsFood & drinks: At the back there is something that actually used to be a mall which has a lot of food to eat. So I highly recommend checking that out.

Freddy Perez: The Courtyard by Marriott Milwaukee offers exceptional service and comfort. During my stay, Jared, the valet driver, provided outstanding assistance. His professionalism, friendliness, and promptness made the hotel experience even more delightful. His attention to detail and helpful demeanor truly enhanced my stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Milwaukee.

Kathy Wiemers: This was a great hotel. The people gave us great ideas of where to go and what to do. Our valet, Jared, was kind, patient and courteous with us when we were taking a while and he was busy.Nearby activities: The staff gave great tips of where to go.

Michael Morales: First, most people take the time to complain and not to compliment. The following staff members went above and beyond in making our stay a pleasant stay. Jordan R., the Parking attendant, was seriously super attentive and professional. Desiree cleaned the room without being asked and was super observant leaving the room impeccable. Lastly, Nora HK, MANAGER, was very professional. We are very pleased with the service. We will stay.jere again. Thanks!!

Holly Michelle Machi: I don’t think I can say enough on how amazing the staff is here. Every single person is extremely welcoming and accommodating. They are always upbeat and happy and kind. Jordan our valet always had a smile on his face and greeted us every time he saw us. He was quick and efficient and we love him! This is our second time here and we cannot wait to be back again. Thank you to all!!

Vera Narvab narvab: Jordan R is the best he makes customers service worth while be here. He’s the bestRooms: I love my roomNearby activities: Didn’t play but they looked cool

Linda Stangler: Stay there for a wedding.Rooms: Nice little kitchenetteWalkability: Walkable to 3rd ward,Food & drinks: Great breakfast

Addison Lopez: Amazing breakfast. The handicap accessibility could be better.Rooms: Clean and spacious depending on what type of room you get.Nearby activities: Little shops, walk along the river, mall attached to the hotel.Walkability: Everyone walks around there to get placesFood & drinks: Good breakfast plenty of options.

Monday's Coffee: And the pillows probably haven't been replaced in years. They aren't soft or firm. They are flat and mushy. The wifi is almost non existent. Connectivity is rough. Services in the hotel are solid. I.e gyms/laundry/breakfast.The location gets 3 stars because of its relative location to decent food, bars, markets and even music venues. But it stops there, during the night, its not a place you'd want to walk around solo.Parking is horrendous.

Warren Schmidenberg: Hotel highlights Great view

Mike X: . We drove around the corner 3 times before finding this place though so be prepared to make a right in the middle of the street into an inconspicuous driveway.

Jennifer Hepola: Was in town for a volleyball tournament and it was the perfect location! The valets were amazing, especially Vince who helped load my luggage back into my vehicle.Walkability: Within walking distance of many restaurants and the Wisconsin Center is right across the street.

Andrea Huisden Brown: Older building in a great location with a wonderful staff. Front desk staff were creative problem solvers. Breakfast hostess had all the food and coffee out an hour early so our kiddos could eat before heading to their volleyball tournament. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be doing their jobs and it showed in how each one went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Obviously a very well managed team!Walkability: Easy to get to volleyball tournament and that great food court mall thing.

Tavorris Garrett: My wife and I stayed here 1/10/24 -1/15/24 to attend Bucks games as we are season ticket holders. First off the location is perfect within walking distance to Fiserv and 3rd Street Market. The best part about this property is the staff hands down! Very accommodating and pleasant and made our brief stay stress free. I wish I could remember the young lady that checked us in but she deserves a shoutout as she went well and beyond to get us the layout that worked best for our remote work needs. I highly recommend this property.

Jacquie DV: reasonable expectations. I want a clean room in which to sleep. A comfortable bed is ideal, as is a reasonably quiet environment at night.Reading these reviews when you're trying to decide where to book is not always helpful, right? I will try to be helpful.I was in room 603, a room with a king bed. It was very clean when I arrived, and even though it overlooked the highway, there was very little noise from the outside. The room was beautiful, with nice amenities, high ceilings, a ceiling fan, a TV that was at least 55 inches, a desk, a small couch, and two chairs.I found it absolutely pleasant, and I would not hesitate to stay there again. They offered a significant selection for breakfast: a waffle maker available with every topping imaginable,, mini quiches, omelettes, turkey sausage, pastries, biscuits, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal

Trish Konop: Front desk worker was incredibly nice, wish I had got her name. So friendly, helpful and nice. Was working 4/13 in afternoon and 4/14 in morningHotel highlights Quiet …

Jurga Tautkute: . Even is right next to major highway - you cant hear the noise in the rooms .I stayed in Corner suite - best room with the view. Impressive old building remodeled to modern clean and charming hotel . There are 18th century items recovered during remodeling displayed in the lobby .Great helpful staff. Parking near by. Charging station for electric cars . Absolutely best . 4 stars due to the breakfast not being served properly . It was a busy weekend and obviously hotel wasn't ready for that . We had to stay in line and most of the food was already gone . Even the coffee station wasn't filled up . Hope they fill fix it soon - I am planning to stay here all the time when in Milwaukee !

Yukeun Jeon: has high ceiling and the herring bone wooden floor. The location is the icing on the cupcake. I wished I could have stayed longer in this hotel and Milwaukee. The only complaint we has was the pull out bed was super uncomfortable. You could almost see /feel the spring through the sheets. Other than that I definately recommend this hotel.

Jerad Tonn: The building is beautiful and they do a nice job of telling it's history throughout the hotel. Rooms were spacious and nice and the continental breakfast was better than most I've had. The only bad experience was that all the bottles of shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner in my shower we empty. I notified the front desk the first morning, and it was not corrected, so the two mornings I spent there I had to shower with only the bar of hand soap. Not great, but also wouldn't stop me from going back.

Tammy Moore: We stayed in July, we walked to the fireworks by the lake beautiful! So many venues amd restaurants to walk to and shopping of course. The hotel is very historic on the outside the red brick is outstanding. Then you enter the hotel and everything is updated and modernized very sophisticated. We loved the views from our room overlooking downtown. Room was well stocked with Everthing you could Think of! Will stay here againRooms: Very spaciousWalkability: Very easy.walking to all the venues we visited

The Knickerbocker on the Lake: what do users think?

Carrie Engstrom: We really enjoyed our stay at the Knickerbocker, the service was great and it was fun being in a historic hotel. The restaurant is really good too. The only thing that was somewhat troublesome were the people next to us being rather loud so I'm guessing the walls are a little thin. Also, when they cooked the odor was pretty strong. Otherwise it's a lovely hotel and we would stay there again.

Richard Hertz: Lovely airbnb room in a classic former residential hotel. Quiet, clean, well-appointed and comfortable.Rooms: Large 1 bed unit. Nice kitchen, clean and up-to-date. Comfortable bed in the bedroom.Walkability: Close to the lake and downtown. Even a supermarket nearby.

Jon Rodman: .Rooms: Clean, quiet, and still retaining a historical atmosphere

Kimberly D'Anna: Room was beautiful with good location and access to restaurant. Great bartendersRooms: Very nice and luxury

Kenneth Trommler: Had a wonderful two night stay at the Ambassador. The shuttle driver Taurus was very kind and helpful. The rooms were quaint and quiet. The art deco feel of the lobby was beautiful. Stained glass and old time radios line the walls. Would highly recommend a stay at the Ambassador. The parking garage was great as well. Other reviews mention abandoned cars, I saw zero during my stay and my car felt very secure. Overall a wonderful stay. Ate at the Gin Rickey as well, half of appetizers got the slider trio and it was perfect.

Brandon Brown - Roost Photography: I am a wedding photographer and recently had a wedding where both of the brides got ready in separate suites at the Cambria Hotel. I didn't stay there, but for the purposed of the couple getting ready and taking photos of them, the Hotel was great. There was a modern and clean looking lobby, and the suites were bright, clean, and lovely! The biggest plus is that this hotel is a super affordable option right in the middle of the city - it was just a short walk/drive from their venue in the Third Ward.

The Brewhouse Inn & Suites: what do users think?

Jim Klein: Great location, nice and close to several breweries in the district. The room was nice and spacious and featured a film kitchenette. Stove, microwave, fridge with real freezer, and even a dishwasher. There were even dishes in the cupboard. The tops of the brew tanks are a nice touch to reflect what the building has done. Lots of unique seating all along the building.Pretty standard fare for breakfast. Nothing spectacular but it was well attended until it closed.Rooms: High ceilings and filled with amenities.Walkability: We walked to several breweries and even a local food court

Manny Sergentakis: My stay was great. Short walk to the Fiserv arena. They put a lot of money into restoring the brewery and making rooms, so I didn't mind the cost. The room I had was clean and perfect. It even had a small kitchen that I used. TV in the room could have been bigger to watch the college basketball championship game. They should have made the beds every day and not by request since the room was pricey. Also, they should mention that there is free street parking a couple blocks towards the left if you are on a budget and want to avoid the forty dollar valet fee and the twenty dollar parking garage fee. The restaurant next door was useless to me because it was never open when I needed it. Never heard of a restaurant that serves dinner that closes at 8 PM on a weekend.

William Chumbley: Very nice room and front desk went out of there way to provide us what we need to make this experience a nice stay. TYRooms: Quiet, well lit, plenty of TV's, and appliances silverware for this spacious 6-8 people sleeping kitchenette.Nearby activities: The whole city of MilwaukeeWalkability: With in walking distance to downtown Milwaukee

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Milwaukee West: what do users think?

Doug Ainsworth: If you're going to watch the brewers play or go to a show there, this would be the closest place to stay. Only .5 miles. You can definitely walk it. We took uber there cost us $20 30 minutes after the event had started you'll pay about 30 each way. Rooms were clean. Nothing fancy free breakfast is there if you want it. Staff was very nice. McDonald's and starbucks next door. Downtown only takes 10 to 15 minutes to get to.

Lynn Troha: Bathroom is spacious with good lighting, shower is hot with good pressure and really great shampoo and conditioner. This location is newer and very modern. Lobby is very nice and inviting, it smells great and all of the front desk staff are friendly. They have coffee and tea available. The breakfast room is huge with lots of nice seating options… a variety of tables and booths indoors and additional seating outdoors for when the weather is nicer. Pictures attached. Weekday breakfast was 6:30-9:30 and when I arrived at 9, the place was spotless and I was greeted warmly by a sweet lady who manages this area. All the stations were still filled and so clean. It was by far the nicest “complimentary continental breakfast” I have seen at any hotels. There was the usual muffins, bagels and breads for toast, cereals, oatmeal, fruit, juices, regular and oat milk,

Kathleen Tomasek: The service was excellent by a friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean, comfortable and everything worked well and as expected. While it's not the best neighborhood in West Milwaukee I had no fear of the area as the place seemed secure. The Continental Breakfast was more than sufficient to start your day. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.Thank you, Fairfield Inn staff!

Stephen O'Bryan: The hotel was normal Fairfield, not exceptional but not bad. The staff was nice and made some really great dinner recormendations. Shout out to the young lady working the 3-11 shift. She suggested an amazing Supper Club place. It was awesome..comOne small complaint. The fitness gym is across from the elevators with a glass wall. There was no privacy when working out and I didn’t enjoy having everyone stare at me as I was exceeding. Trust me I’m not worth staring at unless you consider me a sideshow at the circus. put some privacy screens on those windows.Rooms: Normal Marietta style room. Not horrible, just normal.Safety: Uhmmm….no gunshots but I wouldn’t go for a stroll at night.Walkability: Other than a Starbucks, Panda, IHOP it’s not really within walking distance of much. The area was okay but not great.

Crystal Johnson: After arriving at two wrong Marriott hotels downtown Milwaukee, I made it to the West location. Free parking, cause yall if you park downtown you have to pay $20 every time you leave the parking garage. So glad I didn't book downtown Milwaukee! The West location had security riding through. Super clean, good service. Breakfast was fire.Safety: I felt safe parking my car in this lot.Walkability: Walmart, Target, caribou. Very good location.

County Clare Irish Inn & Pub: what do users think?

Stephanie Cheslock: The food is good Irish comfort food and the complimentary omelet bar/breakfast selection hit the spot. And—off street parking is included! The bar has live music a few nights a week and regulars from the neighborhood. It feels like a true Irish pub. The staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to make your stay great. After recently visiting County Clare in Ireland, I can say the vibes and hospitality are spot on.Rooms: The rooms aren’t huge, but they have everything you need. The beds are comfy and clean.Safety: The area feels very safe, no matter what time of day or night we’ve walked to, and from the end, I see folks from the neighborhood walking their dogs which is generally just good vibes and makes you feel safeWalkability: About a 20 minute walk to places like the Pabst theater and riverwalk area.Food & drinks: Yummy and affordable food and drink.Noteworthy details: A perfectly authentic Irish, pub and inn. From the stained glass windows to the cast iron base tables to the friendly and accommodating staff this place checks all the boxes.

Brett Shinkle: Great food, great service, great drinks! Highly recommend!
