I told them what I had and what I wanted. They have a variety of all kinds of machines there. Judy showed me around and took the time to make sure I was happy with the machine I picked. She gives lessons she is so knowledgeable and talented at sewing and embroidering. The store has lots of sewing needs. From rolling carts to put your machine in and embroidery designs to buy. Definitely go there. You will be so pleased.

In my opinion their main business seems to be selling sewing machines, and just a few brands, so they won’t have everything you could imagine a “sewing center” might have, but what they do have is pretty good quality.

Today, 5/6/24 I finally plugged the machine in to see if it even turned on and to my surprise it seems like it would work fine. I did chuckle a bit as there's a foot pedal to make it work. However, for what I'm thinking of using it for I believe it has more than I need as to options. Tomorrow I have an appointment with my massage therapist and will take the machine with so I can stop in and discuss the value of keeping it. Hopefully a sewing class will start soon and an opening will be available. I look forward to working with the two ladies I met.

Theresa Muehlbauer: The first time I walked into Sew Much Much more, I had a 30 year old sewing machine in need of service and not one clue about how to sew. Every employee I've spoken with since that day, whether when I was shopping or taking classes, has been incredibly kind and more than happy to help answer the many, many questions I had. I took their beginner's course this past fall and, in one two-hour session, I made a pillowcase. This may not seem like a big deal to experienced sewers, but I could not have been more thrilled. I've now also taken their Beginner's skill building course and am signing up for one-off project sessions. Thanks to Sew Much More, I can now say that I sew, I enjoy doing it, and feel like I have what will hopefully be a lifelong hobby. I cannot recommend them enough. They truly are a one stop shop for whatever you need!

This e475 is lighter but offers all that I could possibly want. Kaylie Schneider: This store is so great! They have lots of beautiful fabrics in all styles and the staff is so friendly. I first visited in December while in town visiting my mil and it was my first stop on this visit because they’re just so welcoming. They have a decent selection of precuts scattered throughout the store as well as notions and patterns which are perfect to pick up as souvenirs each visit. As a younger quilter I am sometimes talked down to when I visit a quilt shop but the employees here are always so friendly and encouraging. They have a good parking lot and are easy to find even for an out of towner like myself. I can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in the area to pick up more fabric for the stash!

Donece Thomas: We found some vintage pictures of my sister from 52 years ago while cleaning out my mother's house. Took them to the custom framing dept and Jojo did a wonderful job matting and framing them. We were able to present them to her for her birthday and she was overjoyed! We have them proudly displayed going up the stairs. Michaels is a great place for framing!

Naimah Z: I had two items altered here. There were two staff there. The woman who performs the work, only speaks Spanish but the man at the counter speaks English and was able to communicate exactly what I needed done. Turnaround time was one week. I was very happy with the results. My fabric was very delicate and shipped from abroad. I cannot really speak to the price since this is my first time having an alteration done, but it was an acceptable price to me. They do accept credit cards, but you have to pay the service fee. It's better to just bring cash if possible.
Philip Gissen: I needed 5 pairs of jeans shortened and tapered. My usual tailor was on sabbatical until the middle of March, and I discovered Blest by Campuzano on the internet. Tailors are hard to find on this side of town, so I figured, “What the hay?”Located in a cavernous building on Forest Home, Blest by Campuzano is surrounded by used car lots, auto body shops, and Latino restaurants. While a bit incongruous, the woman spoke English well enough, certainly better than my Spanish, shame on me. The prices were amazing, cash only, and my jeans were altered perfectly. I don’t appreciate the term “hidden gem,” as it’s used to such a degree rendering the meaning useless. However, Blest by Campuzano is a hidden gem. They are now my go to tailor.

Nancy Gibson: Jim, the owner, is freindly, helpful and professional. He runs a top notch business. I brought second hand machines in for him to repair for the theater I worked for. Sew and Save always got them up and running for us. In addition, they saved us from disaster during a couple of productions when the machines needed immediate repairs! Jim always gave me the info and had the materials I needed. When I decided to buy a Janome sewing machine. Jim took the time to go through the options and after I bought it, I received free lessons on how to use it!! They always are giving back to our Racine community! I buy from Sew and Save instead of online because I get the service and expertise I need to keep my machines running.
