Wisconsin State Fair: what do users think?

Jordan Rabe: People watching for the win

Stephanie Lorenzo: Went for a gymnastics meet. Have been there many times over the years. But it's a beautiful facility and every time I return there are improvements. A parking fee sucks, but it's a great facility

Benjamin Vela: Just wish that cream puff place was open year round

Kathy Brown: I was there for the seasonal creme puffs and the park staff were all so helpful. I waited about 45 minutes and it was absolutely worth it!

Michael Hoehnen: Always have an enjoyable experience

Nick B: Had training at the Expo Center recently. Conference room and bathrooms were kept clean. Facilities were perfect.

Bastille Days Milwaukee by the East Town Association: what do users think?

Kerr H.: Always and good time.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure Price for adult entry Free …

ROHNDI REESE (READY TO MINGLE): Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait

Sara Grunwaldt: ethnic festivals of the summer. Great music, a variety of food vendors and lots of quaint places to sit and have a drink make it the place to be mid-July.

Demetra Rines: It was a fun time… definitely something to do that weekend and worth the visit.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Price for adult entry Free …

Alexander Avila: Had an amazing time at Bastille days in cathedral square park and I have to admit it was nothing like I expected in the best way because when I heard French festival I thought it might be a little boring and meant for the older crowd but I couldn't have been more wrong because there was live music and entertainment all around taking place on multiple stages playing plenty of fun music including classes rock and 90s and 00s hits. The number of different food vendors was very surprising with so many different options including classic festival foods but also French foods and dessert that there is something for everybody. Bastille days also offers plenty of vendors selling different types of French themed arts and crafts but also many selling various items like homemade desserts, household and outdoor garden decor, along with more than I was able to see plus the best part is that's many of the stores in the area take part in the festivities offering their own specials guaranteeing no matter where you're at in the area you're still part of the fun so I highly recommend Bastille days to anybody who has never been and I will be sure to attend next year and many more afterwards.

Marty B: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry Free

chad lakefront peplinski: I recall being around this event way long ago! Can someone explain it?

Scott Loewenstein: Fun festival

Carliss Dykes: It was good food, fun and music on a great summer evening in Milwaukee !👍🏿👍🏿

Randy: Enjoyed everything about it

Tara Green: Great time.

Nickolas Meinerz: Glad to see this up and running again. I hope in the years to come we will see more bands and vendors. It’s a bit smaller than pre-Covid days, but it’s still a lot of fun. One of the things I look forward to every year.

Darren Seekings: Atmosphere: 5/5

Andrew Rossetti: WOW! So many food choices. Plenty for everyone's likes. A lot to do for kids. Plenty of seating. Good prices. Plenty of parkingParking: Plenty of parking. Special rate when you eat and have vendor validate receipt. Get the code for when you leaveKid-friendliness: A lot of activities and games for kids

Clarence Schreiber: This place is great place to eat for people who has different tastes. There a lot of different local restaurants to choose from. The different food that have ranges from sushi, to hot dogs to burgers to dessert plus everything in between. They also serve alcohol from wine and beer. Even though I only got a bottle soda for my travel by bus the place was very busy when I was there the past couple of days. So when you get a chance drop in for some food and dessert and don't for alcohol if you are interested. Enjoy.

The Chef's Table: what do users think?

Brandy Clay: This place was amazing. Best experience ever!

Janet L_s: Great atmosphere, food was ok.

Chad Covert: Absolutely amazing location, building, food, owner, drink and experience. How did I not know of this place? Its a masterpiece and if you are ever lucky enough to be invited to an event here do not miss it.

Lucy Wilhelms: Chef David and all of his staff are so exceptionally talented. There is no better venue for a beautiful dinner with exceptional service.

T Moy: Parking was easy. If you’re able to find street parking, there is plenty of that surrounding that location. Otherwise, there is a parking lot adjacent to the building. Not only that, I find it special when the chef comes out to show their gratitude and socialize with the guests. Chef David was gregarious and hung out with us as we meandered room to room. You can tell he takes great pride in what he’s created with his incredible team. The stories behind each artifact to why he chose what dishes to make, it kept me entertained for hours.

dann segna: Very entertaining presentation. Super friendly.

Chris: Group tour. The chef is very ambitious as he told us how he bought the building and restored it. He showed us how to use and select knives and cutting board do's and what not to do with it. Demonstration on making a Holiday Raspberry Cranberry Jam. Tour of building and a tasty selection of goodies.

Kelsey Greenwood: We had our rehearsal dinner at Chefs Table and the staff was amazing. The planning process was smooth and enjoyable. The staff went above and beyond to bring our vision to life. From the walk through to see the space, to the special sit down with the Chef to curate a meal based on our food preferences we loved our experience. We highly recommend renting out the lower level for your guests to explore even more and get a richer experience with the unique touches the Chef put into that building!Chef David we felt the love made in our food especially the Beef Bourguignon and hope so many more guests get to experience the same.

clark blachly: Went there for retirement party Friday and everything first class. Chef even gave us a private tour of the unique rooms in this building. Highly recommended!!

Betty Brewster: This venue will always hold a special place in my heart! My son's wedding was held here . Amazing food, attention to detail, everyone was so comfortable. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Louis Santini: Incredible experience and will definitely be back! If you love great food, drink, and history this is the place for you. The owner is one of the best hosts I’ve seen and truly has a passion for his restaurant!

Braise Restaurant & Culinary School: what do users think?

Morgan S: Stopped in at Braise last night with a friend for the 3-course dinner! You won’t find better ingredients or a better deal. It is truly a one of a kind dining experience and the food is AMAZING—not to mention generously portioned. From start to finish you get a choice between two delicious appetizers, two main course items, and choice between two desserts. This was my second time to Braise and I look forward to coming back. I had the mushroom risotto and highly recommend it. The waitstaff and bartenders are very friendly and add to the overall experience. Perfect for date night with the hubby, or drinks with your girlfriends!

Angela Zuniga: Great service every time we dine in! Perfect date night or even our larger girls nights out are always a hit when we dine at Braise. The waitstaff makes sure we are well taken care of and and is knowledgeable about the food they are serving. They accommodate our many dietary restrictions and the food is always fresh and delicious! Easily the best date night spot in Milwaukee. A must visit.

Liz Fiene: First time having Xiao long bao and I have never had anything like this before! It was my favorite item we tried of the night, would definitely have again if it appeared back on the menu. I love that the ingredients are local and the menu rotates to bring me out of my comfort zone and try new things. Since m still exploring and determining what flavors I like/don’t like, I enjoy that the bartenders can make me something with just some personal input and some questions. I’ve only been here during the winter season but I am looking forward to patio season and I hope they have the patio/rooftop open in addition to their normal seating once summer hits! I just signed up for their tamales cooking class in May and I am looking forward to seeing this side of the restaurant next!

Megan Fiene: I love coming to Braise and eating in the bar area. Their booths and candle lights give a cozy atmosphere and can make a perfect date night. Sit at the bar to enjoy fun conversations and witness Flan and Evan crafting up the amazing cocktails behind the bar. Even if you don’t see a drink on the menu that catches your eyes, they can make anything you are feeling or give them the freedom to surprise you with a “dealers choice” cocktail. I love that the food menu changes every few weeks, one of the many reasons I keep coming back!Vegetarian options: They update their menu often and always mark if the food is vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free n

Ingrid Davis: I absolutely cannot express how AMAZING Braise Restaurant & Culinary School was for our reception. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue. We reserved the upstairs room, including the outdoor space that provided a beautiful view of the city.Becky Ayala, the restaurant manager, was a dream to work with. She was responsive to my emails and detail-oriented, which was so helpful during the reception planning process. The beautifully decorated room dazzled guests the moment they arrived at Braise and established the vibe for the rest of the room’s design. We also loved having the outdoor space, which was perfectly decorated, with floral arrangements placed everywhere. We opted for a family-style dinner. Locally sourced seasonal food inspired the menu of Mixed Green Salad, Lemon Risotto, Montreal Chicken and Soy Braised Beef. The food was delicious and the two wedding cocktails, Crazy Dave’s Old Fashioned and Rhubarb Lemonade were wonderful and flavorful. Our waiter, Kira and David, our bartender, were exceptional and on top of everything. The timing of the dishes was efficiently paced to allow sufficient time in between dishes.Everything was superb, and our guests raved about the venue and the food. I cannot recommend Becky and her team highly enough. You will not regret booking your venue in Braise.

Chrissi Quinn: We had our wedding dinner here and the catering was phenomenal. We booked out the first floor and the split between cocktails in the bar area and dinner in the dining room was a nice little change of setting. The braised beef, pork buns, and chocolate mouse were hits, guests even took leftovers home. The lemon curd wedding cake made by the pastry chefs was great and beautifully but tastefully decorated. I hope we can come back for all our anniversaries.Wheelchair accessibility: My significant other's mom is in an electric wheelchair and it was easy for her to get in and navigate around the first floor.

I wish I had time to eat more of it, but it was amazing! The food was hot and delicious! We chose a BBQ Buffet and 2 late night snacks! We are so happy we choose Emerald City to cater our wedding!

Annie Jurczyk: Emerald City Catering's Beatles-themed culinary extravaganza was an absolute hit at the Next Act event! Zócalo Food Park: what do users think?

Skyler Donner: This is definitely the summer spot! The amount of space and food options is out of this world. The bar has a great amount of drink options and it sounds like they are always rotating in new stuff. I decided to do some Asian chicken from sandu and it was amazing! The only thing I can say is I wish I had some sauce to put on top. Maybe like a peanut sauce of some sort. The service was top notch, everything about this place was awesome. I'm definitely coming back again.Wheelchair accessibility: All pretty much outside, some doors but no steps.

Kera Burish: Love this place- the food, the vibe, everything. Anytime Arepa is consistently amazing. The cocktails at the bar are good. This is a monthly summertime destination for us, but we still stop and pick up food to go in the colder months.Dietary restrictions: Anytime Arepa is a mostly gluten free truck. They have delicious vegetarian options as well. A few of the other trucks have vegetarian options as well.

Bilqis Leung: Great place if good weather. Food truck folks are prompt, courteous, and all smiles. Food taste great but depending on the crowd, you might get a larger portion on day 1 vs day 2. I went back the next day for the same dish and got only half the amount compared to the day before. Last but not least, some dishes are too pricey.Parking: Didn't see designated parking area.
