Aidan Pritchett: Mostly great gym, but I dislike the hours it operates at. Closing at 6:00PM twice a week is ridiculous to me; even the 9:00PM days can be difficult to get to on a work-college schedule. Whenever I do go now, it's before work or just after the gym opens, but I prefer working out AFTER, not before the rest of my day.The staff are nice in my experience, I don't talk to them unless I need something, or as I enter/leave. Most of the members are fellow students, it can be frustrating when they huddle around one specific machine I'm waiting to use but are otherwise a non-issue.Machine variety is decent, fantastic free-weight options, and there are occasionally technical issues with things like the bottle refiller. Prices are on the high side in my opinion if you don't qualify for any of the discounts, I pay $25/month with their college discount, which I consider fair.

Julie Terasek: If you have a child that is scared of the water or having a hard time learning how to swim, you need to come here. My daughter took the beginner swim course 3 times and wasn't progressing. We were at the point where we didn't know what to do. One day during lessons a couple parents came up to us and told us to schedule private lessons with Diane, which we ended up doing. After ONE lesson we saw a drastic improvement in our daughter. Only a few weeks later and she is starting to swim. Diane is a natural with kids and my daughter loves her. She is beyond amazing and we are forever grateful that we found her. Thank you!!!!

I'm able participate in a variety of exercise programs, knowing my child is being watched by passionate, trustworthy staff members. By utilizing the many resources offered by the Y, I've transformed my life and outlook. I lost over 120 lbs and I couldn't have done it without the support of the Y.
The Y has been part of our wellness program since 2007. They provide Lunch and Learn sessions that cover a variety of topics for us to choose from. Our employees love these sessions and always look forward to seeing the Y’s friendly and knowledgeable staff at our office.
We work out to get healthier and stronger while our children play and learn in Child Watch. It's great to be part of an organization that's making a positive difference for our family and neighbors in Milwaukee. The Y is our community!

Its almost like the YMCA doesnt want its milwaukee inner city residents to have a nice community center. The fact that I live right up the street and cant sign my daughter up for classes is terrible. Something needs to be done. When this facility was open it was my absolute favorite. It was safe, clean and vibrant. And full of LOCAL families. Bring it back!

It has everything you need from fixed to free weights as well as group classes and personalized 1-1 training. It’s also pretty inexpensive for a 24/7 gym! Definitely worth a visit/membership!

Celia Brown: I've been going there for like a month now and I can agree with the cleanliness aspect that it doesn't seem like things get cleaned often. Esp the girls bathroom floor. Or there's little rules that the employees over look, like not bringing your bag onto the gym floor. The pool which I have only gotten to use once was being used by s father and his son and we had to share lap lanes. If I would give the whole place an accurate score I'd say 3.8. The employees as well I feel like could be a little more personable as well as the trainers. I had one trainer stand me up and another trainer from another location try to help but he was too far and I picked this location because I'm close. Otherwise I like the environment, the people are nice and there's a good mix of serious work out people and older low impact. I like that with my package classes are included and that the sauna and everything else is included. I will say it's not worth the price that I pay but if rather go here then planet fitness so I deal with it. Also to learn that it is supposed to be 24 hours and isn't is quite sad and hopefully you and everyone with an employee shortage can figure it out.

I would recommend this gym to all.Early December review.I've gone to this gym for over 5 years. I used to love the gym but in the last six months things have really gone down hill. Old equipment takes months to get fixed, many of the TV's don't work and will be out for days; cable has been out for long periods of time. In the last four months the gym has randomly shut down for "technically difficulties". Despite all this they have had a significant increase in the cost of membership.

Hal Norling: I believe Amy has found the root cause of the chronic pain that has seriously bothered me for nearly a decade. Furthermore, she is currently taking the correct action to reduce this sever pain quite noticeably after only two visits. This is MUCH better results and/or suggestions than I have gotten from nearly 9 or 10 pain therapists, medical technicians, pain & spine doctors, spine surgeons and pill pushers. Believe me, that's saying a lot and I'm very happy about it and looking forward to my next session with her tomorrow. HAL

She is incredibly personable and explains everything in great detail so you understand what to expect. I would highly recommend Amy to anyone suffering any type of ailment or discomfort.
