At the end of the meal, I had to approach the hostess to pay our bill.We had several questions and the service did a great job to help understand some of the specialty rolls. We ended up getting several appetizers including, Crispy Calamari, Pot Stickers, and Sashimi. Then we had a Specialty Roll, Mega Salmon. Liked everything with the exception of the Calamari, heavily breaded/battered, and tasted more like onion rings that octopus. Everything else was the right temperatures and tasty.Good place if you need a quick meal, but it's not on my A List for Sushi/Asian.

Joe Mayer: Sushi and service was great. Menu has a wide variety. Only negative was that we had to wait 1/2 hr and there really isn’t a good place to stand inside on a cold night. Warm nights it would be no problem to just stand outside. Dining room is very informal and has been crowded/loud all three times we’ve been here. We don’t live near here but will definitely come back.
Ray Juaire: A true hidden gem in Bay View, about 8 minutes south of the historic Third Ward District, downtown Milwaukee. We tried their version of crab Rangoon, it was great. We had one pork Ramen dish and a teriyaki tofu dish. The Ramen was the best I've had. The teriyaki was perfect, not to saucy or sweet. Service was great, food came out fast. We went there on a Wednesday at 5 and it was packed. That tells you locals dig it!

Brian George: Pretty solid sushi place that was close to our hotel, there's a parking garage basically right next door. Went on a week day so hard to gauge how popular this place is, the 'O My God' roll was fun they light it on fire at the table. I had the ginger old fashioned, it was a pretty mid old fashioned. The bathrooms need some help with cleaning. Service was fast and friendly. Bottom line, worth it as a dinner option but wouldn't be my top pick.- Cheers

I really loved the Hawaiians volcano as they light it at the table, and it brings a beautiful flavor to the roll. I had salmon belly nigiri, and it was exceptional. The Boss roll was so flavorful. We also had the Sweet and Spicy Gyoza which was truly delicious. I can't wait to go back.

We had fried pork gyoza and the stuffed avocados which were amazing. We also had the crunch munch, rock n’ roll, a California roll, shrimp tempura maki roll, MKE roll and the flaming Oh My God roll. We also dipped on sweet pear drink. Our server was so incredibly attentive and kind. She would see about anything we need. Ultimately, this is a place that every person who loves sushi should go! This is an outstanding place for sushi.

LORD, SUKANYA: I forgot to take a “before” picture - but the food presentation was on point. Great quality for their sashimi and ramen. This is by FAR THE BEST hibachi grill in Wisconsin. Food is AMAZING, meat is tender and vegetables have wonderful taste, full of flavour. Great performance, truly! Even the waiter said they had quite a few customers turned off to the Ramen because of this same issue. Why make a fantastic $17 bowl of Ramen and then ruin it?On the flip side: the Teriyaki Beef Bowl was delicious. The Mango Sticky Rice was on par and the Matcha Cheesecake was a delight. Everyone’s sushi around us looked amazing, although heavy on the rice, so just consider how much rice you are getting with a massive roll.Parking: Limited 2 hour parking around. There is a parking lot nearby but is paid parking unless you get it validated at Jose’s which they only do if you pay to eat at Jose’s. Not sure why that lot is monopolized in Wauwatosa’s eating district by one restaurant.
